Horrible experience, If I were you I would avoid coming here if you’re looking for good customer service. Went in for pedicure & full set. Was told pedicure $30 before I even started it. Everything was going great up until we started doing the full set, in the middle of doing my nails he got up quickly and said he has to leave to pick up his son and someone else is going to finish my nails. The lady who was going to “finish my nails” was taking care of someone else at the predictor station. I waited until she was done and mentioned to her how long it would take as I had to leave soon “for my baby shower”. She stated I will be right with you. I am a very patient person but when she took a customer that just walked in the store while I was waiting already so they could finish my set. I had enough I told her I will not be finish my nails and would like to only pay for toes. She added an extra $5 for the toe nails which was not mentioned when I asked for the price. Also she mentioned she could finish my nails but I had waiting enough time and told her I did not want to pay for my nails because they were not complete and if there was an issue she could take the nails off. She said she did not have time to take the nails off. How do you have time to finish them but not have time to take them off, it made no sense… the whole time she had a bad attitude when it was not at all my fault. Terrible experience loved the pedicure but will not be back because of terrible customer service

I came in with no appointment and they were able to kindly and swiftly fit me in. Ken was my tech and I absolutely loved him! He genuinely paid a lot of attention to detail which I really appreciated. On top of that he was a fun and kind person. I loved the finished look. Will 100% be returning soon- I RECOMMEND!!!

Today I came to Gem nails for the first time. I was looking for a new go to due to a back experience where I used to go and ending up LOVING this salon! Summer was amazing and we had such a nice conversation. As soon as I walked in I was offered a refreshment, which I’ve never been asked anywhere else before. My pedicure was so relaxing with their massage chairs and my manicure looks amazing. Overall I had a great experience and found my new place!

Debbie did my full set and pedi almost two weeks ago . She done a outstanding job on my pedi but not the full set. She literally cut every cuticle on each finger then told me to let the next person who does my nails tell them to push your cuticles back? Why didn’t she do this to begin with? They acrylic on my nails are cracked at lifting. The other tech does a wonderful job. I don’t know what happened here.

The booking was on point, my questions were answered fast. Overall the service was great. Loved the techs, Courtney did my toes and the massage was long and great. Really needed it after so long not having them done after a bruised toe I had. Anh was so great and sweet she finished my toes with the top coat. Got to her table for my full set. My nails are cute I have gotten several compliments. I was a little annoyed because the chrome started to peel off a bit on the corners. Oh and did I mention the nice touch with the heated pad on my shoulder and massage chairs. I would def be coming back, its close to my home. The gentle men was on point with assisting the techs. It was Courts second day and my toes look cute and feel soft!

Always very welcoming and professional. Super clean and relaxing environment. Ken did a gel, white-tip, full set on my toes, and I absolutely love it! It looks refreshing, clean, and precise. Classy, glam, and gorgeous 👌 Excellent job!

I had a great experience overall. Summer did my pedicure and dip full set. She did amazing! She left one nail a little uneven and I asked if she could fix it and she had no problem fixing it for me. They were so friendly that even after my service I stayed to chat with both the girls. They were helping one another and both were professional the entire time even after the boss left. Im so glad I found this place. Thank you ladies!

Been going here for a long time! Never had such a bad experience DBBIE was the lady who has no sense of customer service very rude and had an attitude just because we went with an appointment and she had a walk in whom she wanted to take care of.I dont think we will be going back again. They have lost a customer.

Id assume after multiple bad experiences, the salon would recognize its faults and attempt to improve in those specific aspects. It was a repetitive process for me, mostly because I am very understanding and am aware this is a business that has just started. From uneven nails, to an hour wait, to not listening to my request, to spending FOUR HOURS at this location for a pedicure and full set... I have never felt so disrespected by a business before. My time was not valued. I am upset I even gave this location more than one chance. I waited about an hour to get my nails done, just for the technician to not do my nails as requested. I did not get anything complicated therefore I did not expect to be in there for four hours. This business CANNOT handle all the traffic they receive and do not have the customer service I thought they had. Its embarrassing paying so much money to get your nails done, just to have to go home and file them yourself. Disappointed, will not go back.

Very good nails! First time coming here and definitely won’t be my last. I got Annie and I highly recommend her. Shape and design are very well done. People in there are very nice and the salon is clean.

I loved getting my nails and eyebrow done by Ken. He is very meticulous and detailed with his work. The outcome was great!! I recommend gem nails and continue going there.

Very professional, and the staff were really nice.

Had a gel mani and classic pedi and both were great! They did a hand wax at the end that left my hands super soft. Ken was super thorough but also quick which I appreciate. Will definitely make this my new go-to spot.

Very sweet people, but sadly they do not know how to do eyebrows. I went to get my eyebrows wax they did a really bad job.

I showed them 2 pictures of what I wanted and, got neither of what I showed. My sister also wanted a design on her toes but they didn’t wanna take her because we “didn’t have an appointment booked “ even though we called and made an appointment.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant believe i paid $20 extra to get cuticles cut on my hands as an extra service for dipping powder. I never had this not included in the dipping service. The price was higher compared to what i paid in most salons in Bethesda or DC. Its a shame because they do quality work
