In the previous administration of this place, there was equal treatment for all customers. I am proudly Latina, but when you go to this place you feel the contempt of the people who attend this place, how they treat you, how they look at you, as if you were going to do something to them. I only give a recommendation to the people who work there, they should look in the mirror and realize that you are also very different from the clients that you like to serve. I think they should put up a notice saying that Latino people are not welcome. I regret not being able to return to that place, because there only works a person who treats you with education and respect, his name is Yen. I made the mistake of giving someone a certificate from that place and they treated her the same way. I just hope that deal was only with us. good luck and try to serve all your customers in the same way, everyones money is the same.

Very kind staff. I don’t get my nails done often, but they were super patient and made me feel valued as a customer. Pedicure did not last and I was unclear on pricing because the website is out of date, but I felt well taken care of.

The lady’s at this place are so sweet amazing professional clean and do such a great Job take there time with you! Prefect place to get your nails done relax! You’ll be absolutely pleased 😃!!

I came in on a referral and saw a lady by the name of Yen. She was very nice hospitable took her time when giving me a pedicure she was very detail-oriented. Never once spoke in her language while giving me a pedicure. Yen made me feel so comfortable that at times I was dozing off. The place itself is superb, very cute and pleasant staff. It is also a very clean establishment. I highly recommend anyone that wants to get their nails done to give this place a try and please ask for Yen. I know Ill be back very soon.

I wouldve given them a better review but Im very disappointed. I had a gift card that was over a year by 10 days. It was for $30 and the pedicure I got was only $25. They said they would honor the gift card because there was no expiration date but they are typically only valid for a year. So I lost money on my gift card. And they expect a cash tip! Extremely poor way to run a business if they want return customers. I would not recommend. There are plenty of other nail places in this area.

I love Lux Nails!! The salon is always clean and the staff is VERY friendly. I drive an hour to come here because its very worth it compared to other places where you pay an arm and a leg and the services were not worth the prices. I love theyre attention to detail when it comes to my nails and design. This is the go to place if you want professionalism!!

Very nice, smaller salon. I love the atmosphere that is so relaxing and not overly crowded or loud like others.. they take time and make you feel welcomed. Staffs do great job and are very friendly.

Was on the phone scheduling an appointment for my daughter and i, and i asked for one second for me to ask my daughter if the time was okay with her and i got back on the phone and she hung up. i believe i had asked her to hold for one minute, so you just lost two customers.

It is one of the best and most reasonable places I have ever been. I love their spa treatment.

I love this salon. Nick and Trish worked very hard to update it from the precious owner and I now feel like Im walking into a fancy spa but without the fancy prices. The prices are very reasonable, plus they give discounts for every $x you spend (cant remember the amount). Callus removal is now standard and included in the price of the basic pedi. Warm towels are given at the end. Most importantly, Nick and Trish are the only people who have ever been able to make gel stay on my nails for 2 weeks, despite my oily nails finicky nature!

Was really excited to check out this place since its near my job but safe to say I wont be using this place again. They dont seem to keep track of appointments well/overbook. Saw a few unsanitary actions (reusing gloves/touching multiple peoples feet) and saw residue on the nail file used on me. Good focus on the toes, but my feet were dry an hour later and still had rough skin. Not sure if there were different levels to pedicures as no one explained or offered info on them other than to pick a color. Anywho, you can get a better basic pedi somewhere else for the same price.

This was my first time at LuxNails, and I was very pleased. It was very clean, and the staff were friendly. I am now a regular customer of May! She’s my one and only go to!Definitely recommend May at LuxNails!

Great price, relaxing and perfect Mani pedi

Not sure why the previous person complained about the price, since this shop is very reasonable in price, compared to others in the kentlands/crown/Gaithersburg area. Everyone knows extra service means extra cost, that should be obvious. I have seen someone at another shop tried to scam the owner by asking for one special package then asked whoever did her nails extra add-ons like French tips and designs and then screamed when she saw the final price. I have been a regular customer here for years and the new owner has done lots of updates and customer service is also a lot better. May has been there for a long time and the owner Trish is a professional nail technician. Clean shop, great customer service, nice selection of OPI polish, reasonable price, good location... Highly recommended. You wont be disappointed.

When I went in I asked about special. They said 20% off.So roughly 42.00 for mani and pedi.I get in talking with May about the Groupon price of 36.for both mani and pedi.Its ok just 4 more dollars. She asked if I want callous on feet removed .How much Just 5. More dollars.Ok lets do it.My boyfriend comes in to pay The price was 77.dollars.Than she took 20% off.Final price 62.dollars.I dont know how we jumped up in price.Buyer beware...May did a beautiful job..
