I had never been here before but after looking at all of the reviews and pictures I decided to give it a try and im so glad I did! Jessica is amazing and talked me into the new flex gel (I think thats what there called) instead of the dipping powder that I usually get and I love it! I will for sure be back again and I cant wait to see what she does when I go back! Ill absolutely be recommending her to everyone! 🥰🥰update 9/9/21I wont ever get these again! Ill stick to the dip powder! they were uneven and 2 of my nails came off rather quicklyin other words stick with your original plan!;

The women are all lovely, and do great work. However.... management wise... floors look dirty. Area behind pedicure chairs is filthy. Manicure tables are damaged and look like they haven’t been replaced in a while. I won’t even go into the state of their bathroom... The way the manager talked to their employee when they thought I wouldn’t hear was concerning. If that’s how they treat their employees while customers are in the salon, I can’t imagine how they treat them when no one is around. Will not be coming back.

Needs detailed cleaning. Work lights are dirty. Plexiglas guards are dirty. Heating vent by washing basin is filthy. Work towels they do manicures on are ratty black towels. Employees are polite and friendly. Salon design is good. Just needs deep cleaning and continued maintenance. Will not return.

I am diabetic so I have to be very cautious @ anyone who cuts my nails.I had been doing my nails for years. Saturday I can say I finally found the right one for my pedicure Raqal . The pedicure was delightful & relaxing. It was over 25 years since I had nails done professionally I searched a while this was the place with all great reviews no negative. I normally do not do this but after the amount of money I paid for,I deserve better. I did Gel X. I did it last week Thursday and on Sunday my nail popped off. I called and they told me to come in to fix it on Thursday. I came back to fix it on the day asked and the next day another nail popped off. The nail design is even getting off and its just a week since I got it done. I would not recommend this place. I paid alot and got nothing out of it.

I am new to the area and based on reviews, I decided to try Shiny Nails for a pedicure. Upon my arrival, I asked if I needed an appointment. They told me they could work me in. I wish I would have gone on to the next nail salon. One of the worst pedicures I have experienced. I was definitely being pushed through so she could get on to her next appointment. I had to ask for her to remove the dirt from the sides of my big toes before she polished them and she left dead skin around them. I also asked for a very simple design on my big toes, to be told there wasnt enough time. I asked if I could dry my toes and was directed to the dryer, which was turned off. I finally was able to get someone to turn the dryer on after I sat there for a bit. It hasnt been a week and the polish is already coming off. If you arent a local dont waste your time. I will be finding another salon for my pedicures. Im giving a 2 rating only because they worked me in.

Cannot express enough how awesome of an experience I had at shiny nails!! I live over an hour away, and will be driving back every time I need my nails done! My nail tech was Malinda, and she was wonderful!! She was so bright and bubbly, and made my experience great!! I highly recommend everyone gives this place a try, you won’t be disappointed! :)

I am always cautious to get manicures and pedicures because of cost and cleanliness. Ive never been more impressed! The staff here does a GREAT JOB!! Emily especially is fantastic. She always paints one nail and confirms to make sure the color is right since sometimes it looks different on. She never has a problem with changing the color either! The salon is always clean! I watched them clean out the foot baths after each customer. The staff is always friendly and extremely accommodating. I have a hectic work schedule and a baby and they always work around me to make sure Im looking my best. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to get their nails done. I work in Polaris area and live out east and I still make the drive to their location.

I’ve been going to Shiny Nails for about 8 years and they have always had great people and always done a great job with my nails! About 2 years ago they did a lot of updating to the salon and it is so nice and relaxing to go into now. Great new pedi massage chairs and all around great salon! I had been doing gel nails for a long time and about 4 months ago started doing the powder dip. It is so much better for my nails and they have gotten so much stronger since then! I love all the different options for the colors on the powder dips as well. All around a great place to go!!

I’ve been getting my nails done for 7 years. This is absolutely the best nail salon I have ever been to. I showed up for my nail appointment 20 minutes early and was still assisted immediately. The entire staff is friendly and they go out of their way to make sure that you leave satisfied, even fitting in a last minute polish change while you are getting a balance! I recently tried The Dip instead of acrylics and I LOVE, LOVE IT! My nails are healthier and now have a very natural shape unlike the thick acrylic look. If you didnt know you would think they were mine! I highly recommend Shiny Nail if you want gorgeous nails !

Love it! My sister and I got the deluxe pedicures and it was definitely worth $45. They massage your feet and legs, exfoliate, apply lotion, and a coat of polish. They were very kind and professional. I live in Virginia but I will definitely come back when I visit Columbus.

I cant put into words how much I enjoy coming to this nail salon. Everyone is so friendly and the work they do is beautiful. Ive brought large groups here for a wedding party and a graduation and they were more than accommodating despite how confusing our requests might have been. Ive been going to Shiny Nails for a very long time (6-7 years). Every nail tech does excellent work, but Dan and I have a lot of fun coming up with designs around Christmas and Buckeye Football season. Make an appointment ahead of time. They are very popular.

Dan was awesome, he did a great job on my daughter and I nails. I got the gel nails and my daughter got a polish. I didn’t know it was appointment only but Dan fit us in as a walk in! He did an awesome job, atmosphere was clean and everyone here was friendly. This is a great place to go.

Went here for the first time last week as a birthday present to myself - first manicure in two years. Giving two stars because while the woman who did my SNS nails was very nice and friendly, it also felt pretty rushed. I also didn’t realize that she waited until the end to even touch my cuticles - the result is that my nails look half grown out when they were actually done less than a week ago, because she didn’t push them down until the end. If I had noticed, I would have said something early on, but I feel she should have known anyways. All in all, while I was impressed with the decor and consistent branding of the salon (much more impressive than your average plaza nail salon), I will probably go somewhere less concerned with frantic speed and more so with perfection. I’m on a budget, and if I’m paying over 50 bucks with tip, I don’t feel that’s too much to ask for.

If you want the BEST dipped nails in Columbus Shiny Nails IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE! After going to Nails by Jade and having the rude owner do a horrible rush job in 15 minutes, I had the luxury of googling this place and finding Rahel. The customer service was awesome and I immediately felt welcomed and at home. Rahel is a nail surgeon and she took her time making sure my dipped nails were PERFECT.
