Being a licensed professional for decades-many salons, working or front desk operations- I often struggle w my choices then once my swrvicepast -&- frankly my money needs to work for me, I dont believe in giving it away for a servicea that I am spending on. A haircut/Mani&Pedi/$tyle or the infamous HairColor that can seriously rack up sum debt for the coming month+ I really am looking for the Full Service Salon Experience or Ill do it myself -Well....let me say this ••• I wont need to search 4 my Beauty Shop (what my olè mommy still calls them) get pampered and spending wiselyall under one name any further - the feeling of Big City Chic Salon Vibe is under one roof & this includes educated stylish professionals ...that can answer your questions-schedule appts- help @check out- product knowledge🏆🏅...pricing included,its not a secret-this way u dont have to feel cheap when you just need know so u may decide if itll need to wait until next appt. or toss it in Ill need it attitude !! I just feel silly ... I saw Alex at Salon Technique. She did a full highlight and a trim, but she didn’t tone my roots correctly and I was left with a very very dark ring around the top of my head. She also didn’t highlight anywhere around my face and the highlights were a very yellow color. This place isn’t cheap and when I texted her the next day to ask if she could fix my roots, she said come back in a month. I ended up going to another salon the next week to have my color fixed and she agreed the highlights were way too thin, leaving a streaky look, and she hadn’t toned the hair correctly. Maybe the other stylists there wouldn’t have made the same mistakes, but in my opinion this place isn’t worth the price.

My favorite hair dresser and close friend Lori Garcia works wonders and magic here, if theres someone to go for color magic and a trustworthy hair cut its this Wonder Woman! Also, shes a fantastic therapist lol! My hair therapist 😍👍🏻 shes amazing and listens to your ideas and brings them to life, shes worth it! Id never change the person who does my hair! Heres a before and after when I told her I wanted to go back to the dark side!

Paid $45 for a men’s cut. They do wash and conditioner your hair, but their are a lot of barbers near here that will cut your hair for only $25. You do get what you pay for. The salon is in a nice location in downtown Fullerton but for me the cost was not worth the value.

This salon is super clean and the stylists are really amazing! A+ to Samantha for getting rid of 10 inches of damaged hair and leaving me with a clean cut for some color later

First time hair appointment with Kat. I showed her a photo of the hair cut and color I wanted. After she was finished, my hair do looked just like the photo. I was so pleased and happy! Best hair cut/color Ive ever had!! The salon was extra clean and because of the COVID, she was always disinfecting the area. Shes very professional and comfortable to be with. The staff at the salon were very welcoming, and I enjoyed drinking a cup of coffee before my cut. This was my first time with Kat, but she was great! I love what she did with my hair. Shes great with short cuts! The parking can be a little tricky in downtown Fullerton, so my only warning is give yourself an extra few minutes to find a spot.

Got my hair fixed by Alyssa. Seriously the sweetest person. Very detail oriented and made my hair EXACTLY what I had been wanting. She cared about the health and condition of my hair. I had my hair done somewhere else 3 weeks ago and it was not cute so she fixed it and I looove it now. The salon itself was pretty and had refreshments for the customers. Very spacious inside, clean and in a cute area of the city. I highly reccomend.

Great experience here. I have hard hair to cut right, coarse thick and easy to make look bad. Jenny did a fantastic job!! I actually got multiple compliments after. She offered evening appointments and even worked me in when she really didnt have to (my fault with bad planning and last minute desperate need for cut). I went in as a new client. I didn’t know any of the stylists, but I read the reviews and they all sounded positive, so I took a chance. I wanted a long bob. I specifically told the stylist this, and that I didn’t want any layers in the front. I even showed her a photo. She didn’t listen to me at all. She cut way too much off, including choppy, horrible layers. I couldn’t tell at the time because of the way she blew it dry and styled it. At one point I pointed to the layers she cut and asked, “what are these layers? I didn’t want layers around my face.” She just said, “Wait. I’m not done drying it yet. I barely cut anything in front.” This was not true at all.I literally cried when I got home and really saw how much she had chopped off the sides.This place isn’t inexpensive, so I paid quite a bit for what looks worse than if I had gone to a student. It will take months for my hair to grow back.

This is a great salon with lots of products, lots of services available, lots of qualified Beauty experts and walk-ins are accepted. The only downside is sometimes finding parking. You can have just about any kind of beauty service performed at the salon.

Ive been twice now and Brianne is amazing. She was able to correct some not-so-great color I had done previously and in two sittings has gotten me pretty darn close to the exact ashy-blonde-grey Id wanted. I will keep coming to her, for sure!

I got my haircut here, as a guy I was a little uncomfortable with the idea of going to a chick salon... but it wasnt that bad, and no one made fun of me.

Ive been seeing Regina Quintana for about a year-and-a-half. I bring her gifts regularly, and tip her over 30%. Last time I came in I told her I wanted to go blonde for the summer. She usually does a good an pretty good job with color, its hit or miss, but her cuts are really sloppy. Shes very hard to get ahold of and make an appointment. Doesnt have an online Booker, and doesnt get back via text for days. Also cancels last minute and re-schedules all the time. That really bothers meI left the salon darker and more brassy than when I came. She didnt process the bleach long enough and tried to overcompensate with Ash toner. Looks bad, really bad. She had clients waiting and I didnt want to say anything in front of them out of courtesy. Youre welcome Regina. But when I got home I text her kindly and said girl we got to fix my hair, I wanted to go blonde. She was leaving in 5 days for vacation... Her response was irritated, as if I had offended her. I scheduled headshots that I had to cancel because she couldnt fit me in in 5 days, including all the days that she worked. Okay, its irritating but whatever. Ive gotten to know her personality, and I knew that if I didnt basically kiss her but she would blow me off. When she got back I didnt hear from her. I reached out several times, only getting vague responses. Then when I told her look Regina its been 3 weeks, Im wearing my hair in a ponytail everyday, I need to get this fixed - finally I hear from her but shes irritated and she writes me this long text about how shes trying to work with me. Lol. I wrote back and asked her if she was still going to do my hair and no response. So basically she took 300, left me with bad hair and ruined our relationship.It doesnt really matter to me, there are plenty of hairdressers. But Fullerton is a small town then I hope word gets around about how unreliable and ungrateful for good clients she is.

I called the store asking for baylage ombré with a picture of myself from 2 years ago from a stylish at the same salon. I got an appointment for the same day with Brittany she was very pregnant and gave me something completely diffrent then what I asked for and I didn’t notice till I got home in the light. I messaged her and told her this isn’t want I wanted and she was like come in I will fix it I told her no I would like a refund do to the fact she already cut half my hair off and gave me a foiled highlights and toned me grey. I don’t want to do anything else to my hair to damage it and make it worse so I asked for a refund and she started making all these excuses which is wrong does she not understand usage just messed up the hair I have to live with attached are photos from what I wanted and what I got

Do not use this salon and especially do not use Claire Powell. She destroyed my hair. She either did it on purpose or shes on drugs. No excuse to the level of damage and unprofessionalism. She wrecked havoc on my hair. No refunds either.
