DONT WAX FROM SHIVA BEAUTY SALON! Trust me you will regret later! They are not at all professional. I did threading and upper lips from shiva beauty salon. The esthetician had a customer for hair cut so she did my upper lips very fast as a result my skin got ripped off. I didnt see immediately but after going home I realized. You can see in image. This is my first time visit in this salon and I am really disappointed. I cant go out for few days because of this scar and its also painful.

Worst customer service. They attract customers by giving $5 eyebrows but you need to wait for 30 -40 mins. Definitely you get what you pay, they finish ur eyebrows in 5 mins . They don’t care about whether customer is satisfied or not. Their goal is to finish fast and move on to next.

Used to be economical for hair cuts, they increased prices by 1.5 times for simple hair cut. A little challenging to get an appointment as their hours are diff than other salons.

It was my first visit there for my haircut. The person who cut my hair i dont remember her name, but she did very nice. Morethan me she enjoyed cutting my hair( long n thick).Charges$20 are reasonable

Hair cut for men are not good...

$55 got me a hair cut for $20 and just blow dry for $35 . My hair ended up looking like a nest. No directions on maintainance of the style or hair. Felt more like a barber shop than a salon.

Got my eyebrows done here usually they do good but they have a new girl and she messed up my eyebrows very badly horrible job stick to the normal workers.

Hair cut is pretty okay ... but they charge for everything... just hair cut is 15$ if yu have to wash another 20$ To blow dry and style another 10$ . This place is recommended just for straight cut.Wash your hair at home come here cut your hair and again go home and wash and style yourself.

Ive been going here to get my eyebrows threaded for months and they have always done a good job. $5 eyebrows, they do tend to get a little busy but the wait time is not too bad. The staff seems friendly and I plan to continue coming here in the future.

I have been going to Shiva Salon for 4 years now and I never felt the need to go to an other salon. I have checked the prices at other salons and I find prices here are reasonable. I would suggest to take an appointment ahead, but even if you don’t they accommodate you.Ask for Jeeva if you need a great hair cut. The best time to go is on weekdays to avoid waiting time. FYI They are closed every Monday.

Services are worth your money.

This place is great. They have several services from waxing, threading, hair cutting and styling and even henna artists. Their service was super and you can book an appointment anytime, except mondays. There isnt a lot of parking as this place is always packed with customers.

There should be some experienced people for threading it’s like very bad service I say. No proper threading and proper waxing. We should continuously ask for left over hairs on the hands. And not at all professionals. Coming to threading full of cuts. They should really start thinking of some professional beauticians. The beauticians are very rude and not at all considering the left over hairs and their service is very bad I would say they are not at all professionals.

They are reliable and friendly for face threading. Disappointed though that they raised their full face threading 33% not 10% Jan 1. Still a great price. I will still go here when in Fremont but will now consider other similar priced salons near my home.

Good place for haircut

Staff is very nice and polite to their customers. The best thing about the salon is customer service and the prices. I always get my full body wax done and my face threading with very low prices that you can never find it anywhere. I dont find any reason to not go there. People dont want to pay the full price but expect so much. If you never been to this place, you are missing a lot. I am a regular waxing customer at this place (Noor). The staff is cooperative. Coincidentally, it was the manager, who provided the service. She was very experienced and knows what she is doing. It was fast and painless service, for me, unlike other waxing places. Worst experience I ever had in saloon. I went for haircut and showed her sample haircut style.She messed up with my hair. The lady(at counter)was so rude and she said that “this is what we can do”. Worst experience...I’m never gonna return to this place. The lady who did my full face threading was so harsh on me. Despite me telling her I was in pain she dint bother at all rather was being super fast that I have a thread cut on my face. If you guys have no patience in dealing with the customers and wanna rush to get your job done ASAP for money pls shut your store down. Would only go here for eyebrows/ threading because I like a few professionals for threading. Go here in rush hour and youre screwed. With the exception of one or two people they tend to treat you like sheep unless of course youre white - then you get smiles and all :). The other day I forgot my wallet at home and asked if I can leave the salon to get the money, they made me leave my hand bag so that I dont get away without paying them their $5. So much for customer service and returning to them every other week for eyebrows. I think they should consider trust as part of their services.

Value for money. Their staff always ask how I’d like my hair cut and do about it accordingly. I learnt the 3 vs 4 setting on the trimmer module from them. They also take appointments but also have walkins. The mac I’ve waited here is 10-15 mins. I’ve been having my haircut here for the last 2-3 years now.

My favorite and most trusted employee there is Indu! She delivers a fabulous service and is very sweet and kind. She knows exactly how I want my eyebrows done and the results are amazing each time. I recommend her to anyone that wants to get threading or waxing done.

I got my facial done, it was great. But only one thing to note, tip is only cash which will get hurt as you need to carry cash for tipping. Apart from that everything is great.

Depending on the owners mood, this can be a great visit or a mediocre visit. They do a great job listing to you about your wants for eyebrows and they do really fast waxing for all your body.The only thing that can be a hit or miss is a Brazilian wax because only the owner does it and if she is available then she will use the blue wax for you. They charge double the price for blue wax but still cheaper than other places btw. She doesnt hold anything when shes pulling so if you like that stretch, forget it!Overall great job for your money.

This is the worst salon I have ever been to. The customer service is so poor and they have no value for time. Even after booking appointment they make you wait for 30-40 mins.If any questions asked they are so arrogant to the customer and answer if you go to doctor place you wait. You guys are doctors so don’t think so high of yourself and show arrogance. The quality of the salon is bad as well. I will never go to this place or their franchise again.

Worst place my hand was left with scars like this on my hand after my waxing... and its been a week still i have these scars on two of my hands. and my body is not at all sensitive to any products, and i never came across with this kind of probems before..... i highly recommend not to prefer this place... even one star is waste for this place

The hairdresser doesn’t know what to do. I got a haircut done from here recently and then i had to go to some other place to correct it. The hairdresser didn’t know what she was doing. She burnt my forehead with the iron. This place is a terrible one to go for a haircut.

Service is good but the lady in the counter is too rude she is not even polite to spell the name and asked me to write with good hand writing next time ... I think she should improve on her English and reading skills

I like this place. They do their job so well.

Never go there for a bikini wax. the lady who does it is the owner and she is incompetent and lazy. Also on one occasion I went for a butt wax. One lady waxed whilst the other women stayed in the room.it made me feel uncomfortable. In general they are unprofessional and half of them dont know English. Furthermore, if a client is there to wax go up and ask them what they are having done instead of asking in front of everyone in the waiting area. I mean what if someone is having their private done. No common sense or client respect or client confidentiality.

Sloppy work, Aman spent one minute threading my eyebrows and when I asked her to fix a part, all she did was trim the hair. The first thing I did when I got home was clean up the parts she missed. While its cheap ($5 for eyebrow threading) I will not return and I do not recommend this place.
