Hi EveryoneBear with me; this will be a long story to make everyone and the owner understand what happened!!I used to visit this salon on lake arrowhead avenue from 2019 start. I use to get a very excellent service. But later in March 2020, I have been charged for the amount of $1700. The package was 1400$, which was charged unknowingly charged as an auto subscription. On top of that, they have charged $300 extra without any reason.I requested the owner Deepthi on call multiple times for a refund since I moved to a different state and also as it was charged during the Covid period. First, she assured me of a refund, and then later on the call, she mentioned that it is refunded.I called the salon two weeks later to mention that it is not refunded; Deepthi would be answered very rudely and told me that she would, call me.I waited for a month for her to call back, she didnt call me. I called once again, one of her assistants received the call. She confirmed on call that I was charged $1700 and I havent used it all. And Deepthi has not been refunded it as well ( Call was recorded) as proof. The assistant told me she would make sure Deepthi will call me back. Deepthi didnt call me.When I called Deepthi after two days, she just lied that she is not the one answering the call. However, I clearly know her voice and her sister Preethis voice (Recorded for proof).Please be careful with all the transactions everyone from this merchant. They are not professional at all once you pay and except for a refund. To deal with this, planning to proceed legally and submit my proof.This is the same case as that of one of the reviews on Yelp. I moved to a different state; no service was used but not refunded.Such a Headache!!

Their services aren’t upto the menu, they lack quality and value for bucks. Not customer centric but more like we don’t care abt you Attitude, atrocious .I never was happy visiting here, This place is horrible a total bummer.

Rants and raves ! Avoid this place at all costs. The staff is very unprofessional, rude and unethical. They don’t keep to their promises and I felt I was betrayed when they said something and did something totally different. I opted out of their services. Never going back here, my friends have had some bad experiences too.

I usually don’t complain but would not recommend this place at all!!!!! This is a scam place I came to do my eyebrows and they scam me with there Groupon and they lady was being very mean to me. They are services are very bad and she’s not doing good at all

Horrible!! I regret not reading the reviews before buying Groupon. Lesson Learnt! I don’t know what kind of wax did they use but it’s reacted to my skin and I’m getting a rash like never before. The wax isn’t coming off with soap and I’m afraid it might be stuck in my hair follicles. They didn’t care to clean up properly and just gave me some petty baby wipes and also asked for additional tip. Regret giving them an extra $10. I hope this business gets shut!!!!!!!

Beware of faulty business practices!!I cant attest to the quality of their services rendered.- But, I can attest to lack of their Customer Service.I visited this location today for an appointment.- Mind you I called 2 days ago and inquired with them about services even PRIOR to purchasing a voucher of their business on Groupon and scheduling the appointment. I spoke to Sona then. But, upon arrival today a Debbie told me they no longer accept the Groupon a purchased.- I asked her why wasnt it mentioned to me when I called days ago. She couldnt offer a valid explanation why Sona failed to do so.Then, get this!!- She used MY phone to contact Groupon support via chat within the app to explain Arch no longer accepts the voucher!! Thus, to refund me for the purchase of the voucher. I asked Debbie, why would she do that to lead Groupon support that they were chatting with me instead of Arch staff.- Debbie said shed make it clear to Groupon support in the chat.However, when she returned my phone to me and I looked at the chat, the Groupon representative was under the impression they were chatting with me instead of Arch staff. Debbie, at one point, told me to have seat while she chatted with Groupon as if it was okay to use my phone instead of her own or by some other means to contact Groupon.I feel that it was already unprofessional enough that they refused to render service as I paid for, let alone being comfortable enough to conduct business matters on my phone.Debbie, showed no remorse and wasnt even apologetic for the inconvenience.I left without receiving any services.

I would rate 0 star, if there had an option to do it.It was my first ever experience with this saloon. Here is how it goesI went to the saloon and asked for a brow cleaning service. The lady did the service and she also did brow shaping without even telling me. Later on she redeemed my groupon (I got the text msg saying groupon validated. I am attaching screenshot) but they didnt accept it because date format on redeem page was incorrect. They were really rude while explaining the issue. We thought to not argue more and pay for the service. But guess what ? they charged us more for brow shaping service which we didnt even ask for and they denied giving refund for the additional charge. They also made us wait for payment and handled customers who came after us.All in all this was a horrible experience and I wouldnt ever recommend this store to anyone.I have attached screenshots of the chat as well. Kindly check her rude behavior. Employee name was Sona.* Reply to owners response *Issue 1 (Groupon)Let me remind you where your 20 mins got wasted that you are blaming on us. Your employee didnt know how to view voucher in the groupon in first place. She had to ask for help multiple times and that wasted your time and my time to begin with.As you can see in my screenshots Groupon is valid till 2nd June but date format on redeem page is incorrect (dd/mm/yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy). That is just for the display. I reached out to Groupon and they said very politely that it was just display issue but their system had correct date. So you lied that you were unable to validate date B2B.Also if validation failed from your end why did we receive message Groupon Validated from you (check screenshot)?Issue 2 (Incorrect pricing)Employee never mentioned that she is doing brow shaping. She said she will do cleaning, but then she did shaping too. I informed her that I have groupon which only includes cleaning and even though she knew that, she did shaping without even asking me. (Just for information whatever she did shaping or cleaning is not done properly too)When we called she said please come and get your $2 refund. Didnt she say that ?Its not about 2$ but its about fighting for what is right.All in all you have lost one potential customer and will lose many more if you continue same behavior.

The women who waxed me did good but it was expensive when I should’ve only paid $45 then once I got there, there was an extra fee for length which made no sense because if you’re an esthetician you should be able to trim the hair down. I think they just added extra charges because they had no clients..

DO NOT COME HERE: The service was unsatisfactory because the employee was completely rude and unfriendly. Despite her lack of professionalism, I tipped her generously, and she didn’t even say thank you once. My eyebrows were okay, but it’s not worth giving them business— there are much better local businesses with more reasonable prices around.

Extremely rude and dishonest people.I called before coming down and asked if they accept Groupon.They said yes and so I purchased one for single use eyebrows cleanup.When I arrived at the location with my discounted coupon they said they dont accept Groupon for old customers.then why not mention it upfront on phone when the customer asks you on front.Moreover I called the ardenwood location because that closer but the call automatically gets transferred to lake arrowhead location which I was not aware of.I arrived at the ardenwood location but it was closed.how would one know?when I asked for the managers number to express my grievance they gave me the same number again.When I called same lady picked up the phone and spoke very rudely.I never came across such inappropriate behavior and poor customer service ever in any business within USA.They dont value their customer at all .

I have been coming here for almost a year now, and everytime i come her i am so happy, i have tried there waxing and purchased a package, I also have a package for brows, so i can come in whenever and get them threaded, Every single time they are perfect. I brought 5 friends here so far and they re all happy. One of the best place by far in customer service, and salon is beautiful with a beautiful chandelier hanging in the middle of showroom. Really calm and Serene place. Love it.

Its great to have a beautiful salon in union city, even though its in Fremont its on the border of union city, This place is so clean and people are friendly. They use waxing techniques that are not painful. I had gone full arms and underarms and it was so smooth. Will definitely be back.Thank you

They are extremely dishonest, and unprofessional. They have these payment plans for wax packages, and In discussing this we agreed on a payment plan. originally I felt fine, but I ended up still having a lot of patches of hair, so I called to cancel before they charged me for the wax package because I was extremely unsatisfied. They said, okay and said they had cancelled it, I even called the next day to make sure it was cancelled and they said YES. but come to see my bank account was still charged, and actually charged TWICE from the time I called to cancel.So I reached out to them to talk about this charge and in speaking with them, they said, they have a no cancellation for packages? So 1.) Your employees lied to me, 2.) youre going to CONTINUE to charge my card (bc I signed up for this,despite me calling to cancel, according to them) and charge me for a service I no longer want because of how bad the experience was, 3.) Never heard of that and 4.) you should WARN those purchasing the package they CANNOT back out.Extremely bizarre and slimy business. Im also not the only angry customer.Take a look at the other reviews, and you see they can agree with me. Never again. DO NOT COME HERE, or purchase a package, they will LIE and steal your money.

I came in to get my beard lined with thread. they do wonderful job, the ladies here have really gentle hand when it comes services clients, after threading they give you a nice facial message which seriously worked for me it relaxes you so much. I love this place and will definitely return.

Worst experience. I had a Groupon deal went there first time MS Arthi was doing my eyebrows with in a minute she took almost all the hair from my eyebrows when I looked up the mirror after she did I was so shocked . Ms arthi dint take any responsibility what she did, except she blaming me that I dint tell her anything how I want . Is it normal ? She said take a look of your old picture you dint have any hair ARE YOU KIDDING ME . Please respect the customer than you will get business. This is not the way you want to treat when you go somewhere.

Very disappointing. I have been going to this place for a year now. Everytime I go there will be a different person. I bought a package. I just had my eyebrows done here. She experimented and messed my eyebrows before vacation. Am super angry 😡 please dont go in here.. No experts here..

Horrible experience - had an appt using a Groupon and they refused to honor it falsely accusing me of being an existing client. I have NEVER been to ANY of their locations. When asked for more info, they couldn’t even tell me what location, when and for what service I supposedly received. Obviously because I have never been a customer!! They said they had my name and phone number “in their system” which sounds super fishy when they had just taken my info when I first checked in. I even showed my drivers license which was also a strange request. I adamantly said I have never been a customer but she wouldn’t listen and it was pointless - they wouldn’t accept the Groupon.Never have been a customer and NEVER will be a customer.PLEASE AVOID - wish I could give them ZERO stars. Their business tactics are questionable and shady!Response to their reply: I’ve never purchased a Groupon before so your statement is false. Stop with the lies. There are other reviews with the same problem.

For prices I will give 5 start but for service the lady whoever she is, she is hard and rough. I got my full hands and legs wax and after coming home I got sore pains. She tried to spread the wax with empty spatula and ended up rubbing on bare hand with it so many times. And the way she did is also sooo rough. And she didn’t got though the direction of growth. Finally she is unprofessional to do wax. I get to their other location which was great. This one is a nightmare for me.

Please be careful when buying Groupon.I first time came to my appoitment and never used the voucher here or anywhere else in Arch Salon. The lady at the reception took a picture of my voucher and said that I can’t use it, because the system shows that I visited them before. I was confused because I first time visited Arch Salon. Late, I spent 1 hour by the phone with their manager, so customer service was terrible. The manager said that I visited them a few monts ago, but this is not so. She was rude and pushed me to return the voucher back.I would never recommend anyone to come to this place!

Great experience for getting my face wax and eye brows done. I love the convince of being so close by to my house. Shilpy did an amazing job. I just kept one star bcoz their website their is not very user friendly. The social media links doesnt work, nothing is clickable like phone no, getting directions, finding the location on the map, the home page top section wax, threading, skin etc. doesnt work. I believe in this tech era, its must to have a good working website:) Otherwise, I had a good experience being at this place and actually ended by buying a package for multiple visits (which I have never done at any salon before):).

One of the best places for waxing and Facial. Very clean, I went in for my Brazilian Wax, and I was truly very scared, since I did not have good experience at European Wax center, and got lot of ingrown, but when I went to Arch the wax they used was gentle on my skin. The pain was bare minimum, the place was very clean, and my Esthetician wore gloves, and never double dipped in the wax she was using. after she was done, she applied warm woel to give me ease from the redness and massaged with cooling cream. after that I felt so relaxed she asked if I wanted to do facial they were running special for $25 for mini facial, I went ahead and tried that and it was Ammmamazing and absolutely loved my experience. will definitely be back. Hands down the best place.

She took 3 phone calls while in the middle of threading my eyebrows. She made them thinner and took waaayyyyyy too much from the beginning of my left eyebrow. I probably have about 7 short hairs there and they’re shorter than the rest of my eyebrows so I have to fill in my eyebrows everywhere I go.
