Nice, relaxing pedicure! The chairs are super comfortable with massage mode. The girl did a nice gentle massage & more importantly didnt cut my cuticles or baby toes doing my pedi! Will be back in November for more TLC!

I walked in with a broken nail asking if there was something I could buy to fix. I have all natural nails and have never been to a salon. She took me right in and in 5 minutes, it was fixed with something called dip so the break wont go into the meat of my finger. I really appreciate their time.

I have been going to V and A nails for about a year now. I believe it is under different ownership now and the new name is “PNK nails” every time I have gone here they are always on time, do a good job and are very friendly. I’ve only had one bad experience. Last time I went I believe a newer women did my nails and two or three days after they started to get hazy and scuffed but I figured that after two days they wound not redo my nails. Other than that my experience has always been good at a fair price. The ladies that work there are very nice and like to talk to you. I always recommend this place to all my friends and In the Frederick Facebook groups. Everyone I have sent has loved their services!!

I got to the salon at 940 I was told a 30 to 35 minute wait. I waited at almost an hour and a lady came in 15 minutes after me. We were both brought back at the same time. I was choosing a gel color when I realized the causation lady was being serviced before me when I was clearly there before her. By the way, I am African American. Before I realized she was being serviced the lady came to me and told me to take my time picking my color which is when I saw the lady now being serviced. Impolitely asked for a towel to dry my feet off and someone came to me and said no don’t leave I’m finished now I had already sat in that water for 10 minutes waiting while the other lady was already being attended to. I dried my feet and I left. I will no longer be using that business for service which I have always used and loved. I don’t know if it was a racial thing but it clearly was an unfair thing.

I love this place. Visited first time on Saturday and I can say that It wont be the last time. The place is clean, staff is nice and rates are good. Service is great.Thank you for a great experience.

I have gone to V&A nails a few times for an acrylic fill in. The first time the nail technician did the most amazing job I have ever seen. She took her time, made sure I was happy with the length and shape, and engaged in friendly conversation. The second time I went, the nail technician did the fill in much quicker and didnt ask what I wanted. Additionally, my thumb nail fell off exactly 7 days after the fill in. This is very disappointing after the first positive experience.

Its was good at first i got home realized a few tips arent glued down to my actual nail so its just hanging on amd its only be 4 days ill never go back my finger is swollen and hurts the lady was really rough with.the drill and ended up cuttin my actual skin on my finger now my ring finger looks infected 😭😭 this pain is so unreal

I love my nails so much just that they told me it was around 50 dollars and at the end when he was done he said 80 and in the picture he missed some gems as well on my nails but overall it looks like the picture I showed them just he missed some gems and when you look at them for a long period of time you can see the uneven lines but I will give it a shot one more time to see

I went here last Saturday because the place i wanted to go didnt have appointments available. This was my first fill-in on my nails. This place had really good reviews but now 4 days later i do not have really good nails. All of the gel on EVERY NAIL except one has chiped or broken and one nail has completely broken except where the previous gel was. I find it funny that i went 3 weeks with only one chip and now 4 days later all of the new gel that was applied during the fill in is chipping off or breaking. I would ask them to fix it but they would probably try to charge me for another fill in and i spent 85.00 and gave 20.00 for a tip. Getting my nails done is my treat to myself it makes me sad when i cant enjoy it. I will not recommend this place to get your nails done at, maybe for a pedicure but nothing more.

The young lady did my nails was the best! She took her time to do my nails and even gave me some good tips. My nails looking perfect and all in good shape. Excellent service and great quality work! Highly recommend!

BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!! Its terrible. Im not even giving it one star But I didnt have the options not too. Lets start from their overall customer service and their professionalism is just plan awful. I came in for Mothers Day to have a full set and pedicure done. Which I had a appointment for 11:00 and I was not seen until 11:45 then lady who started on me was rushing and I told her I didnt like what she did and how the shape was and I even try and show her a picture of what I wanted and she said okay Ill fix it for you but you need to go and sit down and I take my next customer and I do for you after her and starts laughing I said no its not funny and she said she has a appointment and I said I have a appointment too and I havent even got my pedicure yet. Then she goes okay Ill fix for you after going back in forth a couple times. She goes to proceed and they still look awful at this point Im like it is what it is and I ask to speak with a manager and their response is she out of the country and we dont know when shell be back. So at this point Im figuring this is why they are being so rude. I just decided to pay and leave. As a the days went by and continuing to look at my nails and Im like no I needs these nails off they look terrible. So I call and request to have them off and my money back. They said no refunds and argued not even to redo them. So I reported them to the police at that point the agreed to take and redo but made me come back another day and which I did and didnt see me again and they said they were busy and they have no time. They proceed to do this 3x and was just playing games. So they were reported again and I received the girls license number who did my nails and I reported her license. In all the years I have had my nails Ive never dealt or with people like that or experienced this in my life. All I wanted to do is fine a new place after relocating. Worse decision ever!!!!!! You have been warned. I wish could post pics here so could see the awful work she did. But I did post them in their photos above

I found this nail salon quite by accident and since then I have referred One of my family members to them she has a standing appointment and loves the work that she receives every time! V & A Nails are by far one of the best nail salons in Frederick Maryland they are punctual the salon is beautiful and the work that they do is amazing!

I was definitely not disappointed by this salon! As soon as I opened the door I was greeted by the entire staff! They work very hard to please their customers!

I sent an email for a late afternoon appointment to have a deluxe pedicure but the reply was not sent to me until 30 minutes prior to my time scheduled. I arrived and they gave me aan appointment for two hours later. Upon arrival I used the restroom which was clean and decorated nicely. I was directed to select my nail color and sit in a chair. The water was very hot so the lady attendant added some cooler water. She did an excellent job of cleaning my feet, massaging and putting nail polish on. One wall had wood which gave it a nice ambiance. There was no smell that was associated with nail polish when attending these salons. Do note that they dont allow tips on the credit card bring extra cash.

I think coming to the salon for if you months shy of a year. Usually I have great experiences… That is until the warm weather hits. In the last four weeks I scheduled two appointments with them. The first one I walked in and saw that everyone had somebody in their chair. They asked me to go make an appointment in a come back a different day. When I assured them that I had an appointment for that day, they told me they would be with me in a few minutes. I waited 15 minutes before being sent over to the pedicure station just to sit there an Additional 30 minutes. I got up dried my feet off and went elsewhere. Came back two weeks later same thing they don’t remember having me scheduled for an appointment! But they make it work they push other people side and allowed me to get my service started. My nails looked decent and I left feeling Happy with the service. That was this past Friday. Yesterday morning one of my nails split straight down the middle. I’m not rough with my nails in anyway and this was unusual. I called and Explained what happened and he told me to come in at my convenience. I came in today and they asked me if I remember the number for the color that I use… They never write the number down when you walk in to begin with so no I had no idea. I start matching up their color swatches with the color on my nails in notice that I can’t find my color. The nail tech excepts a client for a pedicure gets her situated and then rushes through assisting me in finding my color. Every color she picked up either had a red tint or was flat out orange. My nails are pink! After explaining that I cannot find the color and that none of those colors work that she had compared to my nails, she snapped that we were going to use the orange glitter one she used. During my speedy nail repair she didn’t finish filing and shaping the nail per usual so it looks bulky. I have a square nail shape and this one is rounded. Even when I again stated that the nail wasn’t even close to what I had she nodded in agreement and went on to her pedicure. I had one occurrence before these recent ones where the nail tech applied the same color over and over again when the polish wasn’t drying properly under the light. The nails she replied the polish to looked like I had done the nail polish challenge. When brought to her attention she ignored it and rushed me out to assist the next customer. Maybe I can only go here during the colder months since the service seems to be superb then. Just now where near that during the warmer months.

Came here yesterday to get a refill and really love how my nails turned out. They got me in quick and the staff was so nice friendly.

Place was fair and they did a good job. Only giving 4 stars because my wife’s nails didn’t last as long as she expected and what she has experienced in the past from other nail salons.

Very efficient and pleasant pedicure. Business-like, which is what I want. Reasonable prices.

They messed my nail polish up on Saturday. They looked terrible and blotchy. I went in and asked to have it fixed and I would pay to upgrade to the gel and they were still trying to charge me $30 more. I would never recommend this nail salon to anyone. They should fix something if it is done incorrectly and only charge the difference if someone wants an upgrade.
