Took it to get a rebuilt transmission tell me why they took their time as any mechanic should just toCome back with the transmission slipping and rpm going up to high too much torque

They have worked on several of our family cars ranging from Ford to Lexus to Toyota and we really like them. Randy is honest, knowledgeable, trustworthy and has fair prices. The only thing I would suggest is that you not take it in without making plans to give them a couple of days to work on it. They are a smaller shop and are very thorough, so I do not count that against them.

These guys are the best. I have an 87 Mercedes 300 SDL and a 73 Mercedes 220 and they have done transmission work on both cars when no one else would touch them due to the combined make and age of the cars. Not only was the work done right the first time, they treated my money like it was their own and never performed crazy expensive repairs without talking to me and explaining my options. Randy is who I normally deal with on these cars and he is like a neighbor- super friendly! I wouldnt hesitate to use them on any of my cars. A++

I took my 2003 Monte Carlo to transpec and have owned the car since 34000 miles, problem started jumping out of gear at a stop light at 34000 miles and problem progressed through year after year and also speedometer would quit working and transmission would jump out of gear Everytime speedometer would stop working, and also car had a separate problem with traction control not working and after taking car to Transpec, traction control is working perfect and I did not even ask them to fix traction control, it was fixed without any parts just by Randy rebuilding transmission and replacing wiring harness Which was tied in with traction control harness, I am very pleased with Transpec, my rebuilt transmission works better than the factorys when new, I would highly recommend Transpec, Randy is amazing and very honest, thank Transpec and all of the mechanics for a wonderful job Wells you done, sincerely, Mark Goddard and Joanie Goddard.
