Im really happy with responsiveness. Other HVAC companies I called went to switch boards or to reps on-call who made it pretty clear that they didnt want to work their on call hrs. With Dennis, this wasnt the case and with Masters my AC and thermostat are working within a hr or 2 of my call on a Sunday evening. Very happy overall with my experience.

Our air went out on a Saturday about 2 weeks ago, on the hottest day of summer this year. My husband started calling around, no businesses were answering their phones, with the exception of one and the service charge was astronomical for a Saturday. I then told my husband to try Masters. The Technician quickly answered, stated he was working in our area that day and would fit us in later in the day. He actually arrived within 2 hours. Due to a tight budget, due to recent surgery, we decided to go with the cheapest option and hope the issue was fixed. The Technician informed us if we still had problems to call his direct line and he would be back out on Sunday. Two hours later it was evident that we still had an issue and called the Technician. He arrived first thing Sunday am and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue! We were extremely happy with the prompt, professional, affordable and exceptional service. We will be using Masters for all our home needs!

A great experience with Masters heating & cooling. My technician Victor Ward was very pleasant and respectful to me and my home. I like how he took the time to show and explain my issues with my ac and the different options he showed me in order to be able to rectify the situation. I felt that he was a very honest person. I really dont have any other experience to guage the affordability by but once again he gave me options and let me pick what was affordable for me. Will continue to use them from here on out.

We had a great experience. Called this afternoon and they answered the phone on the first ring and were able to send someone within 4 hours to our home that felt like 100 degrees! Then when the tech was on his way we got a text message with his picture and a brief bio. He also called to apologize that it was near the end of the time window ( but it was in the window) . Then the whole time he was very friendly and professional and got the job done and our home is cooling again. He went above and beyond too by taking some extra small steps above what we hired him to do.Thanks Levi!

First, I was happy to have a quick response to my issue and the technician was super friendly. Unfortunately, that was the best part of my experience. I was told by the tech I had a major issue that he could not resolve but to keep my unit running for a week it would cost $788.00 in coolant and I would then have to contact a company salesman to come out and sell me a new condensing unit. Im glad I only paid the service call fee and sent him on his way because later that day another company came out, added the needed coolant, and charged me $90. One of 3 things is true, either the tech needs more training, he didnt do a very good job explaining my options, OR I was about to be gouged over $1,000 for something that $90 would have fixed. I hope the latter is not the truth but I dont know at this point. I definitely would be hesitant in calling this company again.

My AC quit on me. Masters was able to get a technician out to diagnose it within 2 hours of my call. Mike was great he was up front with me about the cost and very thorough. Even though it was 8 at night when he got done looking at it he still offered to fix it before he left rather then make us wait until the next day. I asked if he could do it first thing in the morning and sure enough he was here at 8 am the next day and had my ac up and running before the heat set in for the day. Could not have asked for better.

We have been using Masters for at least 10 years for annual maintenance. I made an appointment back in February for my A/C to be serviced in the spring. The earliest appointment they had was the end of May. I just got a call cancelling our appointment because they had higher priority service calls. I was rescheduled for the end of July. This is unacceptable. We are loyal customers and made an appointment well in advance. I will be switching to another company after this service call. I prepaid so I want the service they owe me before I switch companies.

My initial rating of 3 stars was not fair. I had a new HVAC system installed - The techs that came out were very polite and professional. After they were finished and left, we noticed that the new AC unit was damaged. I called the next morning and spoke to the supervisor about the issue. He was very understanding and also noticed the damage. Later that day the techs came back out and replaced the unit. I was a little irritated this happened, but the promptness of correcting the issue made up for my irritation. I would recommend Masters Heating & Cooling.

I was able to get serviced on a Saturday. Bryce was on time, friendly and repaired the issue quickly. He provided excellent advice and information around the current state of the furnace and what to look for when replacing the unit in the future. This is the second time I’ve used Master’s and will continue to trust them for my needs.

Dennis was timely and professional, really helped me understand my HVAC unit and its condition, gave me several options and recommendations, and was overall super helpful and detailed. Definitely recommend this company.

The technician was very knowledgeable. He detected the problem and in the same day he sent the sales guy. They installed the new furnace in a couple of days. Easy, clean service and good price. I definitely would recommend to my friends.

Wish they would inform you of repairs before they are done and the cost. Charged me 275$ for a 30$ switch in my furnace. I wanted the 89$ diag but he just went ahead and did the work. Didnt show me a faulty part didnt show new part just switched it and said I owe him 275$ 89$diag 150$labor and 30$ part. Called Jerry the scheduler and he yelled at me and threatened to take the part back

Our technician, Corey, was incredibly helpful. Corey was inspecting the furnace and AC prior to us purchasing a home and did a thorough check into the functionality of the equipment. He was able to explain in lay terms what the issues were and was willing to spend the extra time to explain our various options. We will happily use this agency again!

I own a duplex in Columbia City. One side was having trouble with their furnace. Called and was told since I was a property owner not in their club they would not come provide service. The girl on the phone did not bother to give me information about joining their club for property owners. Im thinking how do you join something if you have never needed the service? Oh well, too bad for them. Im sure there is a business out there that would be glad to have my business. I own and manage 25 rentals thus far.

First off I would like to thank the whole team at Masters in Greenwood. Anyone that I talked to was very professional. I was in need of a total HVAC system. Owner David came out did the site visit and went over everything that that he thought I needed. I have a large house with no duct work and I knew it would be a big job. The next day he came back out with the estimates and went over them with me. It was his professionalism that sold me on them for the job. When it came time to start the job he was right there with Cason, Duane and Dennis. It took several days to complete as they worked around the holidays. The whole team did an outstanding job and I highly recommend Masters for your heating and cooling needs.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! We called for a diagnostic because our furnace was making a ticking noise. They originally said that it was just a loose pin. By the time he left he said he “accidentally made it worse” and that it would need to be replaced entirely. They said not to run the heater at all until it’s fixed and refused to give any sort of discount for their mess up.

Bryce was very professional .I appreciated the measures he took to get answers for me .He also was considerate and wore a mask without me asking .I am one of those individuals who have several medical issues that put me at high risk for covid. so I am very careful when in the community. Friendly & customer service oriented.

As a former customer of theirs for nearly ten years, I had a generally good experience with them, however upon my latest attempt to schedule a regular maintenance check-up appointment with them, they told me that they couldnt get to me until January of next year (four months from now). I wont wait that long and I am now searching for a replacement HVAC contractor to meet my needs. If they are that under staffed then the odds are that if I have a heating or cooling failure that Ill be waiting for a long time before someone from Masters will show up to fix the problem.

Absolutely TERRIBLE service. They worsened our furnace issue leaving us and our 3 year old son with no heat tonight. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! The service manager showed absolutely no remorse!!

Got 4 quotes and they were almost half of most quotes I got. The salesperson was great, explained everything thoroughly. Was able to install just a few days later.

Arin was very knowledgeable and helpful as everyone who has worked on our system has been. Unfortunately, we were sold a unit that wasnt right for our house/us. We found out that the way it was installed requires us to rearrange our house to make it work (our house is too small for this to be possible). We also found out that some periodic, messy cleaning needs to be done that we have never been told about and also isnt mentioned in the owners manual. We had a great relationship with masters for years with our geothermal unit in Monroe, thats why we didnt hesitate to buy the mini-split (we had never heard of this until Masters salesman suggested it) even though the quote was a couple thousand dollars higher than the other 3 we got. Other companies told us that we shouldnt go with the mini-split, but we trusted masters. I still think masters does a good job, just dont trust one salesman when everyone else is telling you something different.

They were very thorough and considerate. The units needed to be sprayed to clean parts and the technicians were very careful not to get water on the wood floors.

I called this company to get a proposal for one of my trailers to have a new furnace installed so Scott Love (Comfort Specialist) came looked, took measurments and said he would email me a proposal that i can send my boss by the end of day.Here it is exactly one week later and no proposal, no email, and no replys to my emails to him about the proposal. I am being completely ignored by him or anyone at Masters Heating & Cooling! All in all i am very disappointed in the unprofessionalism this company has shown me with this matter, I will never call this company ever again and i will spread it through the mobile home communities not to trust these people or call on them to do any work! I am very upset and disappointed in Scott Love and Masters. I feel their commercials are completely fabricated and false advertising.

Had a problem with our AC unit and they were able to come out and repair it promptly. They were entirely professional and courteous. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and will definitely use them again when its time for our yearly maintenance.

Bryce called to say he could come early and showed up when he said he would . He is very friendly and informative. He was very courteous and wore shoe covers the entire time in my home. He explained what he did and also shared a concern when he found evidenced of mice in my basement. He was very professional and did a complete job.

Our technician, Nate, went above and beyond today in servicing our unit at a home we are looking to purchase in Fort Wayne. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and displayed the best customer service I think we’ve ever had. He treated the home like it was his, and gave us genuine, honest feedback on every faucet of the system. He took the time to coordinate with me via phone (including sending pictures and links to sites to help research) and explained everything he did. Nate is a wonderful representative and advocate for Masters, and I hope he gets recognized for his amazing service today for us! I would never recommend this company again. I hired them to install a new furnace and ac unit and it went well. I recently hired them to repair that same furnace and they left me hanging with no heat. Lied about coming back to fix it then refused to explain why they never came back. Had to wait 3 more days without heat until another company took care of me. Avoid using this company at all costs. I use to think they were good, not ever again

Our air conditioner was not properly Cooling. Chris from Masters came injected some fluorescent dye indicating that we had a leak. He came back a couple weeks later and found a flare fitting that was leaking and repaired it. Now our house is nice and cool :-). Chris is a true professional who takes pride in doing his best.On a personal note, Chris is by far the single most pleasant and honest contractor I have dealt with in many years. Technician did a great job, however I was taken advantage of, I was charged $342.00 for a $50.00 thermostat.😡

Technician, Corey, arrived on time and proceeded to address the issue right away. He walked through the problems with our unit and gave suggestions to get it either repaired or replaced. He answered all our questions and provided great customer service. I would recommend this company for service.

My furnace stopped working when it was 30 degrees outside. I called Masters at 8:00 am, the technician was at my house by 10:20 am. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced my gas valve. He did a good job and also had the part needed in his truck.

Corey was prompt, very friendly and got right to work--he was very thorough in preparing the furnace and the care he took in cleaning the air conditioner. He was meticulous in checking everything when he was done. I felt very confident in his work, his attitude, and his friendliness. Thank you!

Cory came today to service our furnace. He was very polite and friendly which is important when you are dealing with the public. He was thorough and told me about the mechanical condition of my furnace.

Arin was very polite and truly professional. He put the protectors on his shoes before he came in the house and explained what he had done. He also showed me how to clear any clogs in the drain line in our Geothermal unit. Although this was just a regular “check up” on the unit, he told me that the unit was working better than spec. It is nice to have things explained at my level. Also it is nice to see young techs getting into get into this field.

Nice guys who took the time to explain how the systems work and how to keep them running efficiently. They had great communication and arrived when they said they would.
