I love this salon. The best ever.

Miss Betty Mamacita, Full of awesomeness. She is extremely hospitable, Polite and always aiming to please. My hair color was banging!!! Thanks again! She even prepared a hot cup of coffee for me!! I will be coming back to Betty when I visit Florida!😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍

Ms. Betty is not a honest professional hair business person. I went to her for my hair to get flat iron and trimmed. After explaining to the professional that I washed it with shampoo and conditioner and I put nothing in my hair but olive oil after it dried. She assured me that when she flat iron hair it last 3 weeks. She put nothing in my hair and I told her I have curly hair it will friz up. She assured me it wouldn’t. I went on a date with my husband and within an hour my hair frizzed like I knew it would. I returned to Betty and she was rude and disrespectful when I told her I didn’t appreciate her not doing my hair the right way and just applying heat with nothing on it. She called me cheap and when I asked for a refund she told me I can have it because obviously I need it more then her.... unprofessional. For u to be a hair stylist my opinion you should know all ethnic of hair and know that with dry curly hair you need to apply some hair grease hair spray etc. I will never do business with her again. She kept talking over me after I told her I’m not going to waste my energy with her she wanted to argue I’m to grown for that and I’m pregnant I then took my money back and walked out the shop...she came outside still running her mouth wanting to argue like lady the problem is resolve. Don’t you got a business to run. On top of all that I scheduled that appointment for 2:30 she had me wait with no customers in her shop for 20 mins so she can have a conversation with an employee. If I was a business person my customers come first. I feel she was lazy and did not want to put all the time like she should have done into my hair if she did it would not have friz and we wouldn’t of had a problem. Know the people you do business with today I saw this women true colors.

Did not have the chance to go to my regular hairdresser back home before coming to Fort Walton for business and desperately needed to find a Dominican style hairdresser. After a Google search, learned about this salon and saw the multiple great reviews about the owner Ms. Betty. BELIEVE THE HYPE! She is fantastic. I could tell there is so much love for her by the clients who came in and praised her work not only as a stylist but as a human being. Shes truly great at what she does and has the most beautiful spirit about her. She did a fantastic job with my hair. I even let her do a few snips. I left VERY happy. My hairdresser would be jealous. Shhhh! LOL

Betty is the best hairdresser around these parts hands down!!! She can do a mean Dominican blowout!! I’ve been going to her for 8 years and travel 45 minutes to get to her!! Definitely worth the trip and traffic!!

Very welcoming and nice, family owned place. However, after coloring my hair the first time and it turning out horrible, she piled on the bleach, after I asked for mild color and showed and explained exactly what I wanted and she told me she could do it... and left me under the heat for over an hour while she played around with her daughters hair. I sat under the dryer for literally almost 2 hours in pain and very uncomfortable. I left with chemical burns, fried hair falling out in clumps, and was charged twice even after she messed it up horribly the first time. I was there about 5 hours and, though they were nice, it was pretty horrible. Unprofessional. Thank goodness for avant-garde and their skills to fix what salons like repunzels do to your hair and scalp. Mind you, Im 8 months pregnant and she left me sitting in that heat and ignored my discomfort to the point I had to continuously ask her to rinse it out and walk around the salon while she socialized and straightened other peoples hair. They were all nice, but definitely a bad place to get color done. Ill never go back and would certainly not suggest it. And its over priced for the quality of place it is.
