I hired this company to reshape my boots in the air ducts in the floor, so that I could put vent covers in them. I agreed to ~$80 charge to come out to my place. A technician arrived and tried bending them back in place. He was there less than an hour and was entirely unsuccessful. He said he needed to leave to go to another appointment. They charged $185/hour labor so my bill was over $300 and my problem still wasnt fixed. I hired another HVAC company that charged $80/hr labor and they solved the problem quickly. I will never hire Martins Heating & Air again. See their work below.

Martin’s is a customer service oriented company. I called this morning and the serviceman was at my house when he said he would arrive. He diagnosed the issue within 5 minutes of arrival and had the issues resolved with in 30 minutes. Great Service for a Great Price!

I had an new heating/air system installed as well as the Ultraviolet Air Purifier.I did my homework and researched for a very long time and Martins came in #1 on everything. We replaced our outdated system with Martins Heating and Air. We chose Martins heating and Air due to the professionalism and willing to go the extra mile of the sales staff. On the day of the install I was pleasantly surprised as the installers continued that going the extra mile attitude as they installed the new system. They fixed a few issues with the ducting and didnt charge extra, and fixed some other issues that I didnt know I had and didnt charge any extra. They have even been helpful after the sale with questions that I had. I would highly recommend Martins Heating and Air to anyone needing HVAC service.

One of the only places that would come out to West Hartford. The tech, Colton, was professional and thorough. Power surge caused coil to freeze and blower to act up. Needed no repairs and Colton let me know without trying to up sell or bogus repairs.

I actually used this service as a second opinion because the heating and air company that I’ve been using is free because of my home owners warranty. After 7 calls out to my home and it still not cooling as it should be I decided to give this company my business. Lesson learned is that if you want the job done right the first time you have to pay out of pocket lol. In regards to the technician, Cecil Williams was a down to earth guy and very knowledgeable. It is so good to have someone come on a weekend to fix an airconditioner. I didnt have to suffer thru the weekend and the repair person let me know exactly what was wrong.

The quality of Martins Heating & Air was impeccable. The service technician and manager were both very professional and timely. The Service Manager was very detailed in explaining issues as well as services and programs available for preventive maintenance, which add value in service. Great experience. We had the new units installed about 6 weeks ago and they seem to be working very well as intended. I first called and had set up an appointment on a Friday morning with the sales representative. By the following Monday afternoon, the installation was complete and the old units removed. We purchased a new Lennox heat pump and an indoor air handler. I havent had the opportunity of having them called out for maintenance yet, but I am sure that would not let me down either. Everyone I spoke with -- the sales representative, the installation team, the owner, and the ladies on the phone -- were all very friendly and knowledgeable. They also handled the warranty registration on their end and sent it to the manufacturer for me so that I didnt have to go through the trouble of doing it myself. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

They had the unit scheduled and installed within 2 days of purchase agreement. There staff was prompt, courteous, and very professional. With the heat index well over 100, my AC went out at 4:30 on Sunday afternoon. Martins on-call representative was terrific but honest that they were many emergencies and might not be here until the next day. Not surprising.Less than an hour later Mr. Martin was at my door. Because his team was so covered and a tech wouldnt be able to respond, he came by to see what he could do. He checked the system, had to go to his shop to get repair material and then was able to get us back in service soon after returning!We are no more than an average customer. I believe their response to us is how they respond to all of their customers. Mr. and Mrs. Martin have a fine company and a polite, professional team. I am extremely grateful to Mr. Martin for caring about my situation and personally getting involved; I appreciate and respect all of them very much!

Martins has been servicing the heat & air units in our home and in our business for over a decade (mostly annual inspections and tune ups). Technician Cecil came by at his appointed time today after a call for an appointment one business day earlier. He was a very professional and nice to work with. He spent almost two hours addressing the problem I called for as well as doing an annual maintenance.Based on my experience I would highly recommend.

Chose to look into service for my mother’s heater when it started giving her trouble last winter - she had called a local individual at the time who did a “quick fix” that ultimately didn’t last - as a second opinion I set up an appointment with Martins HVAC. They were very quick in responding, had a guy out the next morning and corrected the issue quickly. Fortunately for my mother, the issue they corrected turned out to be a result of the previous work done and had my mother use that same service I’m not confident that her heater would have been fixed. Strongly recommend!

We were very happy with Martins Heating and Air when they replaced our furnace and AC condenser. They had a significantly lower price than other quotes and were transparent+detailed with how the replacement would go. The technicians were very helpful, including inspecting each vent to balance flow and even vacuuming the work areas after finishing. I hope to never have to replace HVAC again, but if we do, we will definitely call Martins.

Martins Heating & Air were introduced to me during a visit to the Home Depot. The sales rep. made the appt. in the store as I was buying supplies for a new mfg. home. It was supplied with an electric heater only. The quote was very fair, and within days the equipment was professionally installed. Late afternoon I realized our air conditioner was not working. Martins shortly after sent a very nice man who worked in our sweltering attic for 3 hours and got it working. This was our first time using Martins and we will continue to use them.

Great work in getting our AC unit working! Colton came out took out the fan motor on a Monday, it was an older unit, so by the time he finished the parts stores were closed, but they found one first thing the next morning, and Colton had it working Tuesday afternoon! Heres a tip: I turned the fan to on, and as the evening wore on it didnt seem to be cooling off. So Cecil came out Wednesday morning and explained that when fan is set to on, the outside unit can shut off, thus leaving the fan to pull in warm air. So if youve been a couple days with no AC, and it gets repaired, be sure to set the fan to auto, not on! In closing I want to say everyone I spoke to was very nice and friendly, curteous, and professional! I would highly recommend Martins Heating & Air!
