They are great!! Very Friendly, Great Customer Service, and reasonably priced. I had a bad experience at a big dealer service and made the decision to take my car to Macks instead and Ill never again go anywhere else.

Im rating my visit 5 stars. Honest, fair and friendly staff. Its no wonder why they stay busy. Im out of state and got off the interstate after traveling 500miles because of a sound that I was concerned about.. I came in first thing in the morning and they took care of the problem ASAP. Honest, trustworthy, dependable, affordable!!! I can’t stress those 4 words enough!I wont go anywhere else in Fort Smith! I personally have used them for work on me and my daughters car more than once.If I ever move away (too far away) I will be disappointed! It’s hard to trust someone not to charge you an arm and a leg. To fix what only needs to be fixed and to do good quality work!Great customer service all the way around! They’re personable and have a great sense of humor (always cracking a joke)I would recommend Mack’s to everyone! You won’t be disappointed!They also have they’re own towing service available. Convenient if you don’t have another option.

Charged me 400 dollars for power steering pump repair which they didn’t even install right and now I have to have it done again by professionals this was in December of 2020 that’s 8 months ago If your going to do a job do it right, And if you don’t know how to do a job then don’t take it

First bad review I’ve ever posted!I went and talked to Mac and he did not help like he told the previous person in the review and that’s why I posted this. He was rude, raised his voice, and told me the price is the price and I’ll call around to determine what’s fair. Im trying to attach the invoice. For a fuel filter, def fluid, and oil change/tire rotations, he changed me $402 then I went to Orr Chevrolet and they said it would run around $260 and I went to another mechanic shop and which quoted around $200!

I have been using Macks for 25+ years. I try do a lot of mechanic work myself, but if the car does not have a warranty and I dont have the time or tools to do the work I always go to Macks. Always been fair to me. Towing service is great (I have had to use it a few too many times due to broke vehicles). Mack, Dave, Evette, and the mechanics have always treated me well!!! Cant recommend enough.

This is a great pawn shop to do business with, if youre in search of a pawn shop, dont go to the others if you need to pawn items, come here theyre fair, And they will deal with you fairly, and if need be you can make payments on the product you have in pawn, Im not a good person but if you are its also a great place to arm up and get a fair deal.

They charged 438.00 for a distributor cap on my dads 1998 GMC 4x4 Sierra. When I questioned my dad about the price, he said they told me they had to do a bunch of electrical work. This was a bold face li. The only thing done was the distributor. Why, 438.00! I guess its legal way to steal. Still a monkeys industry with such garages as these. Disgusting. I thinking of filing a civil lawsuit. Ill have another mechanic look at tomorrow.

Ive been taking my cars to Macks for 28 years. They are knowledgeable and honest. Ive even taken cars in for repairs I thought they needed and Macks would later call and tell me it was something minor and much less expensive. What other repair shop is that honest? Their prices are very fair as well. Ive been sending friends and family to Macks for decades!

Macks Auto Center has a local reputation for good service. This is well established among locals, and as they are located just a quick walk from my workplace, I decided to give them a try.I arrived early, around 7:10 am, told the guys at the counter what was needed, handed over my keys and went to work.At 12:15 I receive a call asking me how to crank my car. Fair question; its older and, as I told them, the fuel pump needed to be replaced because fuel wasnt priming properly. I answer the question, and tell them to give me a ring if they have any problems or questions.3 hours later, I receive another call telling me that they havent even moved the car to begin working because they cant crank the car. When I arrive after work at 3:30, I try cranking the car and it cranks on just the third attempt.Its at this point that I realize that, at the very least, the people on duty either dont know how to work on a car, or they simply dont care to get my money.The point of this review: Wal-Mart will probably have better skilled mechanics. Avoid this place.

Have been a customer for 38 years, have never disappointed me. Took my car to Dodge dealer in Northwest Arkansas and they said it needed 6500.00 in repairs and maintance and my car is 3 years old. Took it to Macks and they found it did not need a thing. Will only use Macks because they are honest and will only do something if needed. Many thanks to Ft. Smiths best car service center!

Almost 1 yr agoThey replaced my valve cover gasket on my car that has a supercharge in it, on a car I sold to a coworker, and she says it still running great. Reasonably priced and excellent work. I am planning on taking my Tahoe there for brakes after tax time.

Our family was traveling through to Branson from Texas when our air conditioner went out. It was going to be a very hot day. We were so blessed to be sent to Macks. They graciously got us right in, quickly discovered the problem and fixed it right away. All of the staff were wonderful and friendly. Thank you all for your kindness and letting God use you as a vessel to allow us to continue to COOLY enjoy our vacation. You are awesome and we would highly recommend your business to anyone...local or traveling.

They more doubled charged me for going last then 5 miles to a dealership. Their regular charge in town is 60 dollars and they charged me 156.25 to go less then 5 miles then tried to tell me it was a 60 mile round trip. Dont use them.
