Technician was good. $4500 refrigerator only 5.5 years old10 year compressor warranty apparently is only good for 5.Dont buy Kenmore elite.
Ive had this service for 5 years as part of my original purchase. It is a total waste of money and time. When I did need their services, technicians never showed or called during a 4 HOUR WINDOW! Dont make the same mistake I did.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM Sears!!!!!!!! I have never submitted a bad online review before, but it has now been 37 days without a washing machine I purchased in July 2018. I decided to purchase an extended warranty and the warranty/repair people are useless. First, they ordered the wrong part. Then the second part took 10 days to come in and they cancelled an appointment without telling us. Whenever we call the repair phone number, it reaches a call center that is obviously not in the United States. Every time we call they give us an appointment 10 days out. They are useless!!! They send texts for a return appointment - 2 different dates for 2 different days - and then say they never sent a text. Now they say they will be out in 6 days. By then it will have been 43 DAYS WITHOUT A WASHING MACHINE!!!!!! Never ever purchase anything from Sears. The local Sears refuses to help. I have never been this upset about a purchase. Im going to post this on every listing or review I can find. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SEARS!!!!!!!!

I bought a $3300 Refrigerator 3 years ago. Takes 5 days for them to get a service man out to look at it. He comes on a Tuesday runs diagnostics and tells me its the compressor. He has the compressor on the truck but doesnt have time to put it in. This is a common problem and they told us that when we called. He cant get back to my house for a week. Then they email that they cant make that Tuesday appointment. Takes another week for him to get here and actually put the part on. Labor $291.00, Diagnostic fee $114.00, total was 405.00 and it is under warranty? $3300 fridge! Had to buy another fridge but Sears is a ripoff dont buy from them! Crooks! Remember they told me on the phone that it was the compressor and that it was a very common problem.Randy McGhee
The technician was courteous and helpful. I feel it takes too long to get a service appointment scheduled. It is always a 3 week wait from the time I call until an appointment can be scheduled. I also do not appreciate the 8-5 time frame I have been given. A four hour time frame would be more realistic for the purchaser of the home service agreement to be available.
The tech fixed the unit and it is working well. The only issue was that the technician did not have Freon. Had to leave and drive around town to get what he needed to finish the job. Seems like he should have what he needs on truck. No discount for the additional time it took for him to drive around town.
I purchased a Craftsman riding mower a couple of years back & cannot state how happy I am with the warranty & repairs performed. I did purchase a extended warranty (normally do on ANY item i have bought over 1,000.00 dollars). They (Sears) have came out & replaced a faulty muffler to bad belts, The service rep. is very nice, And very knowledgeable on these machines, With what they have fixed I am very happy I purchased the extended warranty it has certainly paid off. They have also showed up & had my lawn tractor repaired & ready to go not only the same day but fast on the clock.

If they had fixed it we would give a 5 but our Kenmore Dryer is still shutting itself off repeatedly after it has had 2 new boards and new heating element and door tightened many times but it seems no matter how many times they have been to repair it it continues to shut itself off and we have cleaned the lint trap also and they have tested it out so that isnt the problem. Wish someone knew why we have had the dryer that continues to turn itself off and knew what was needed to stop this from happening ?
The sears technician called before he came and was very friendly, professional and efficient and had the rubber replaced on my washing machine and running in no time. I would recommend this service.
It is still doing the same old thing. It is not cooling and the temp is about 48 degrees. The new ice maker is not making enough ice. It will make some then stop. Same ole stuff different day.

Brandon 5 stars initial refrigerator and dryer repair. He has to come back.but the dishwasher repairman did not explain why he was charging me 134 for spring repair (I found out by calling Sears Home that springs are not covered on this insurance) nor did he repair the trash compactor except to say that the compactor was an older model and he did not have the parts available.

You do not care about the warranty on your large appliances. I have gone 23 days with no working refrigerator because of the Policy your company has on replacement (this is after 3 visits by your Sears technicians, etc). Feel free to contact me with any questions. The saga is too long to type. But I doubt you will. I will NEVER buy a product from your company again and recommend anyone that asks me to avoid you like the plague.

I was set up by the Sears maintenance scheduler, located in Miami. He promoted a package which cost $293 to cover any washing machine repair up to $500. I expressed concern that online blogs indicated the repair may cost as much as $800. He assured me that in his years of experience he had never seen a washing maching repair cost more than $500 and that this deal was the way to go. I bought the package and sure enough the maintenance man quoted $800 to $1100 to fix the machine. So instead of fixing my machine, I get a $500 voucher towards a new machine at Sears. Granted a good discount, but I feel duped by Sears and conned into a new washer from Sears without the opportunity to comparison shop among all retailers.

The repairman came in, made his repairs, even though we had a houseful of children. He asked me to test the microwave repairs, which were completed accurately, and left.
This is fo the repair visit on November 22, 2017. I was having a problem with frost in my freezer. When the repairman came he found a frozen box that has slipped under my freezer drawer. He said that was the problem and looked no further. Although he did look in a panel in the back.Still have frost on the upper drawer, hope it goes away. My biggest complaint was that he was more interested in selling me an extended warrenty. I had to ask him if he was going to look at my freezer or just try to sell me something. Very unhappy with service.
We have been fighting with this refrigerator for almost 2 months. Brandon finally got the refrigerator fixed this time but the icemaker still isnt working. He said for us to text him if the refrigerator stayed working and he would come and put the icemaker in. Ive texted him a couple of times and he still hasnt come . Im fixing to call for another repair to get the icemaker put in. We already have the part at our house.
