I highly recommend this company. With the really hot weather coming, our house had a well used 16 year old a/c system that we felt was time to replace before it went inoperable all together. After a few other quotes, it was obvious to me this was the company to choose. Ron came to our home to assess what we needed. He was the only technician to climb into our attic space and look and measure the supply/return ducts/hoses and routing. Then suggest us what changes were needed to correct the balance of cool air needed at weak flow spots in my home. Ron was the only estimator to do this. That was notable to me and made a big difference with my choice.Quite frankly, after getting the equipment and work estimates from Island Aire, I felt the other estimates from other HVAC companies were rip offs. They all basically offered to change the equipment at the same cost or more, none addressed or even looked at the attic hoses and duct work for air flow efficiency. While you are going to spend thousands for new equipment, what is the sense of it if your air ducts are choked or poorly routed? Youll spend extra in electric bills over the life of the equipment if this isnt right. Ron looked at this. A true HVAC professional.I also want to commend the three technicians, Shane, Justin, and Wesley that removed replaced my a/c system. The equipment install performed included the air handler unit, some improvements to flow/ ducting and hoses in attic, 6 wire install for newer generation thermostat and the outside condenser unit. I recognize this is hard work. They worked constantly on a hot day, having to perform and climb around my attic space/ jungle gym. Its a hot, dusty, and very confined environment. Attic temps probably at 115F or more. They worked with concern for us, to get the system up and running quickly to lessen temperature hardship on us. Their install was professional skilled and has excellent quality. The job was completed in about 7 to 8 hours. They left my house and areas they worked very clean. Upon arrival Alex provided a courtesy call that he was on the way. Arrived on time, professional, inspected the system, and performed the recommended services needed.

Excellent service as usual! We asked about dealing with possible mold issues and opted to get a UV system installed. Absolutely no high pressure sales pitch! We brought it up and were given the info we needed to make a decision.

I woke up to my AC shut off & water all over the floor around the unit. I called Island Aire, and they had someone out to me within an hour. They not only fixed the problem (which has happened before), they offered solutions to stop it from happening in the future. Then they quickly got everything complete, and my unit back to cooling again. Everyone was also very friendly, and easy to deal with. Thank you!

I have known island Aire for many years. My experience with other contractors has been very bad, UNTRUSTWORTHY.I met island Aire when we had a mold problem due to the second floor flooding into my house. I had a terrible mold smell in the house. After they remediated my house due to the mold I had another company cleaned the ducts.I met Justin the owner of the company and also recommended me cleaning the ducts, I was a little skeptical since I had already done it. However, Justin told me once we do with him it will be done and that problem will be solved.THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED!!!I am very pleased so far with Island Air particularly Ron. Very happy with him .We have had a Purifier and uv systems in the ac systems and never had a mold problem again.Ron always does a great job servicing our unit.

He took his time explaining the ins and outside of the air conditioning system and ductwork.The reviews about Ron is absolutely true..If I need him to look at something, he is always available.I was equally impressed with Shane and James who installed the air conditioning system and ductwork..They were phenomenal and incredibly personable always smiling and happy..Without complaining, they braved the 135 degree temperature in the attic and worked in tandem to prepare the air conditioner for installation and the ducts..The temperature in my house is perfect and very comfortable..Above all else, I am happy that they got rid of the mold in the ducts they replaced..I am a happy new home owner! The guy that came to our house was very rude and condescending. At one point I had to ask him if he was angry that we called because our air conditioner wasn’t working. It’s the second time the same guy came to our house and he was very rude each time. We pay for regular service on our unit and it’s broken twice in the last five months costing us $700, In addition to what we pay for regular maintenance. If anyone should be angry it should be us.

Tyler, their Field Supervisor, came out and did a thorough inspection/analysis of our issue and made recommendations based on his experience and our needs. Tyler went out of his way in explaining what we needed to address immediately, and offered options in how to remedy the performance of our unit. Just had one of the best experiences with an air conditioning service supplier. Justin Ballard of Island Aire of SW Florida not only showed up during the designated time, performed the requested service on both our AC systems but was extremely informative on the condition and operation of our systems. This is the AC service provider we were looking for and will count on them to provide all our AC work in the future.Called Island Aire again to have them improve my AC plumbing, ducting and float switches installation following a water flooding problem. Douglas and his partner Luis came out today replaced the wet insulation inside my air handler and made a very poor original installation (not installed by Island Aire) much, much improved as shown in the attached photos. Not only is the installation much cleaner but the improved switches should hopefully prevent another water disaster in my attic.

I hope I checked all the right boxes. Alex was on time, professional, Informative, and provided excellent customer service.

This is a bad company. We went through Lowes and they sent us this company to install a Ton and a Half unit. They installed the Unit in the wrong location. I spoke to a manager and they offered to remove the unit and place it in the correct location but I did not want to have patches on the wall. They offered a $200 refund that I never received, and after a month I had to call the company and had no one give me a call back. I received an email stating that they are send the check out now. I did not receive a call back when I asked for two people to call me back and nothing. I am very angry and will not recommend this company to anyone I know.

Answered the phone on a Sunday @ 5:30 PM. Provided me with a rough ETA and said they would call with 30 minutes notice, which they did 😊 Technician was very professional explained everything to me. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for an A C repair.

I called Island Aire on a Tuesday nite, as the restaurant ceiling was leaking so much water, we had to shut down dinner service. Spoke directly to Beau, the technician from Island Aire, and he and his partner Drew were fantastic - came in just 1 hour from another job, took care of the backed up drain lines, and provided pics, thorough explanations, and informed us of 2 simple switch installations that were needed. Beau was thoroughly patient and knowledgeable, answering all my questions, and solved the problem. Excellent.

The evaporator coil on our a/c unit had a leak and needed to be replaced. The Island Aire tech (Beau) did a great job on the repair but a defect with the new coil meant another coil would need shipped and installed. In the interim, techs Beau and David went above and beyond to keep us cool until the unit was fully restored. Thank you to them and Island Aire.

I am replacing my old hvac system, I asked for a proposal for current system replacement 2.5 ton and a upgrade to a 3.0 ton unit as well, the sale tech quoted both while still here gave me a verbal, I asked for the email version he sent the 3.0 ton quote, while he was still here not left yet I approached the vehicle told the gentleman I only got the one quote so he says ok sending it now and drove away, when I opened the email it was the exact same 3.0 ton word for word, I am sending this review because I couldnt call him, he drove away without leaving a business card.

Showed up to do a semi annual inspection of an AC unit they installed a year ago today. Will and Peter were VERY professional and helpful. They took the time to installed my AC smart application on several devices in my home. They even did a thorough overview of how to use it and configure the app for anyone else if I needed. As far as professionalism and integrity come these guys set the bar. I would recommend 10/10 for friends and family. The way they represent the company makes me trust and respect the organization even more.

The service is pretty good. I’m just concerned cause the new Trane air conditioner we bought has had 2 major problems and can’t get a number for corporate as I believe I have a lemon. It has froze up twice and shut down. Both time faulty coils. Then I was told I have a mold problem and had to get it cleaned and special lights. $2022. Last repair was $1500 plus just paid off the unit. Wish I had just kept my old unit it just was not keeping my electric bill down. I had bought the plan from Lowes to get it installed. Called Trane Air conditioner but my serial number was not on their big recall list. So I guess there is nothing they can do.

I was having humidity issues in my home and wanted to make sure my A/C unit was running properly. I contacted Island Aire and Ronald Toledo offered to come same day. Ronald was professional, polite and very knowledgable. He’s the definition of excellent customer service! When he arrived he checked our Unit inside and out. He even climbed in the attic to check our duct work. He thoroughly explained and showed us everything that was concerning, making sure we understood which made us feel comfortable. Ronald provided us with different options in regards to repairs and never once pressured us to pick one. I am very happy we chose Island Aire and highly recommend them and Ronald. We were so pleased that we signed up for regular maintenance, which after seeing how gross our unit was, I highly recommend to everyone!

I will not use this company again! I had a service contract with them they came out on May 9, 2021 and serviced the unit. On July 10, 2021 the unit was not cooling I called and they came out and said the drain line was plugged. They charged $351.00 to clean out the drain line, which was just serviced 2 months ago. This company is a Total Rip Off, very unethical.

We had a great experience with Island Aire. My wife and I had Alex out to perform a tune-up and review of our AC unit a couple of weeks ago. He was on time and his level of customer service was top-notch. He was very thorough with his visit and spent the time to explain to me best-practices for the unit going forward. He wore a mask when he was in our home which was appreciated as well. Ill definitely be using Island Aire for all of our HVAC needs going forward.
