Gus is hands down the best of the best.My AC completely stopped working and after having 2 unsuccessful AC companies come out, we finally found Gus who saved the day. He came the day we called and went above and beyond to get our brand new AC unit installed two days later. I am pregnant & have two kids and Gus made sure to get the job done as soon as possible. The job was done efficiently, he was on time, and he took the time to follow up and make sure everything was working properly. If you are someone concerned about masks, they will wear it if it makes you more comfortable. He truly cares about his quality of work and it shows! 12/10 recommend! I will forever refer anyone to him!

I have had Elite Air Cooling service our A/C unit for a couple of years now. They are always super responsive and professional. They are knowledgeable about our community and really take the time to make sure their work is complete and satisfactory. We use them for our 2x yearly maintenance and they recently installed a UV light in the unit. I am happy with their service and highly recommend them.

Noticed the house was warm at 10pm at night- checked thermostat & it was blank. No numbers, no power, no nothing- & it’s 10pm at night!We tried calling 24 hr services. Scheduling an appointment or talking to a real person over the phone was so easy with this family owned business. Customer service and quality is definitely 2 things they are dedicated to.They even have a scheduling service that texts you when your appointment is, when the technician is on their way, and when everything is done. The invoice came right over my phone and I knew exactly what was being done and how much it was.Schedule a maintenance plan with them! They will do the work of reminding you and scheduling it. Today I scheduled a routine maintenance and also got a new thermostat. They sold me exactly what I needed and did not try to sell me a thermostat that has too many bells and whistles that I would never use. So happy with all the work. In and out in about an hour. ELITE was a referral from our Landscaping Company. We can always count on them for the best, but this time, we got THE BEST! Gus, the owner, was so responsive and extremely punctual. He came and did the job himself the first time. He even did something beyond his scope. He got lint from inside the dryer by unscrewing the front of the dryer. We had an appliance man here a week ago and he couldnt even figure it out. The dryer is drying like it is brand new and I can feel how clean the house is already by just the cleaning of the dryer vent. I want to thank everyone at Elite Air for doing an awesome job from beginning to end! Weve owned our house in The Plantation for almost 13 years now and have had nothing but problems with our cooling system. We just got back in town and our compressor was out again, the 5th time since weve owned the house. We decided to try a different company. I called Elite Air and they had a service tech here in less than 4 hours. The tech (Scott) was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything in layman terms. He diagnosed the problem in less than a 1/2 hour. Our return air system originally installed in the house by the builder was basically to small for the size of the system & house. This was the cause for all of the compressor failure we had gone through. We agreed to terms and they had 3 technicians there the 1st thing the following morning. Michelle whom I originally talked to with the 1st phone call came to the house and went over all of the paperwork, permits etc.., she was awesome. The installers Eddie, Luis & Chuck were all very friendly & consciousness of our house and property, keeping everything cleaned up behind them & their work. Follow-up has been tremendous, which shows me they truly care about their customers & the quality of their work. Thanks again to everyone at Elite Air Cooling we would be glad to give references and referrals anytime. After 12 years our problem is gone, and our old cooling company too.

We had Elite clean our dryer vent system and do a yearly A/C check-up and cleaning. They were on time for the appointment and did a great job cleaning out years of lint in our dryer and vent system. They also checked and cleaned the complete A/C system and Gus the owner gave us some good advice on how to do basic maintenance. This is a company you can trust to get the job done correctly.

As always, Elite Air Cooling are very responsive to my needs! Last month Elite installed a total new a/c unit in a matter of hours, thank you Wally! What a difference in the air quality!Today, I contacted Michelle, explained my no air situation & Chuck arrived in an hour. He found the problem within the first few minutes, resolved my stubborn, stuck drain and was back on the road in 30 minutes! Can’t thank you all enough for ALWAYS being there for your customers!

BUYER BEWARE!!During a first time service inspection visit we were told we needed a new air handler and A/C unit due to the age of the unit and the air handler in our garage attic was leaking water from rusted out drip pans. The water caused mold to form in the drywall of the garage. Scott assured us he would handle the transaction from start to finish and return our keys to a neighbor when it was all done. A month later our contractor removed the molded drywall to find that there was air starting to leak into the attic because they did not properly mastic and tape the connections. There was also water accumulating in the drip pan already. When I contacted Scott, he advised me to call the office. Also emailed Brandi who told me this was a common problem when systems are installed in the summer. Good to know…Gus wasn’t sure how it would’ve passed inspection that way, only to find out they never ordered an inspection. Arrangements were made for the techs to come out between 3pm and 5pm and arrived at 6:50pm. They discovered they did not pitch the drain pipe and that was why water was accumulating. Fixed the tape and mastic. Inspector came the next morning and failed as they didn’t connect to the proper breakers – needed 60amp and they connected to 70, needed 30 amp and they connected to 40. This prompted a 3rd visit to fix. Every step along the way we had to call and follow up, push and accommodate the many visits to get the issues resolved all the while dealing with their excuses and lack of concern. During one conversation with Gus he agreed to “make it right “ for all the trouble they caused. In the end, he only agreed to send a gift card to a local restaurant but not holding my breath. If that drywall hadn’t come down we would not have discovered their failures until the next 6 month inspection, or when we saw water accumulating in the drywall or our electric bills went up from cooling the attic. The worst customer service I have ever experienced from anywhere hands down!

This is a rewrite from the original review. I was confused with everything they had told me. My 89 dollar fee turned into 630 dollars, because we were scared our AC was going to stop working. They charged 400 and some change just for freon, we found it on a website a 20 lb for a 120. They also went into my attic and crossed my blower wires. I know this because my husband is mechanically inclined and had been babying our AC for sometime. Once he wired them back the AC comes and stays on til it reaches the correct temp and doesnt freeze up. We had someone else come out they didnt want to speak bad they just shook their head. I will not call them ever.

It’s nice to see that there is still a company that values a customer. Gus is honest, knowledgeable, and can advise the best route to take with an a/c issue. You cal tell his heart is with the customer issue resolution. I say he deserves my business with the value and attentiveness he has provided. I highly recommend Elite Air Cooling LLC in Fort Myers. We left for a weekend trip and came back late at night to a HOT house! AC would not come on. We called Elite Air Cooling around 10PM and they were very eager to help us...even that late at night! Gus walked my husband through a couple of easy steps to try to get us running again (cooled off the compressor with the water hose and then forced the fan to start spinning) and had technicians (Stephen and Chuck) at our house at 6:30AM to make the repair. Pricing was very reasonable and they are all so very nice! Follow up was unbelievable...Gus stayed in constant contact with us before and after the repair to ensure we were satisfied. They sure do live up to the name “Elite”!!

Back in June I learned that my old A/C was under-powered for the size of my home, was working overtime and therefore needed frequent repairs. I contacted multiple (5) HVAC services in the area to get quotes. Elite Air Cooling offered comparable or better equipment than the others, at a better price. The replacement was quick and painless. They did need to come back a few days later to make a minor fan speed adjustment, but since then everything has been working flawlessly. Very professional and friendly group to work with. They are genuinely interested in making the customer happy. Highly recommend them!

I called for service at 6:30 at night when my air wasn’t working. I had a technician out by 7:00 pm. Gus was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He had us up and running in about 15 minutes. I would recommend this company to anyone that is in need of service or a new air conditioner.

Im new to this area and my neighbor recommended this company I called them Sunday morning at 7 a.m. And Gus was at my house by 7:45am my house is an older house and the home inspector told me the AC furnace was older but Gus was able to get it fixed I did not even know Gus was the owner I simply just figured he was a technician doing a Sunday service I am very impressed with the way he runs Elite Air Cooling I set up a membership with his company and look forward to his services in the future thank you Gus

My boyfriend and I had a call in to Elite this weekend, within minutes, T.J called us letting us know he was on his way. Earlier this year they installed a split unit ac in our garage and serviced our AC unit. They are very professional and we will not use any other AC company. Best and most trustworthy AC company in SWFL

BUYER BEWARE!! - UPDATEThe unit was installed in September and the first opportunity we had to use it was in November and it was blowing warm air! We called for service AGAIN and Gus came out and said it was some wiring issue, sent his team out to fix who said it was a small issue and had to go get new parts and be back in 20 minutes. 1 1/2 hours later a 3rd employee came and replaced some parts he said had a hole in it. a week later i received an $89 service bill. i called and spoke with the new office manager Michelle who told me if i remove the google review below she would delete the charge! Unbelievable. Checks in the mail Michelle! I have no idea who all these people are who are giving glowing reviews of this company as it surely was NOT my experience with them. Pleasure is not mine. This company needs to get their house in order.BUYER BEWARE!!During a first time service inspection visit we were told we needed a new air handler and A/C unit due to the age of the unit and the air handler in our garage attic was leaking water from rusted out drip pans. The water caused mold to form in the drywall of the garage. Scott assured us he would handle the transaction from start to finish and return our keys to a neighbor when it was all done. A month later our contractor removed the molded drywall to find that there was air starting to leak into the attic because they did not properly mastic and tape the connections. There was also water accumulating in the drip pan already. When I contacted Scott, he advised me to call the office. Also emailed Brandi who told me this was a common problem when systems are installed in the summer. Good to know…Gus wasn’t sure how it would’ve passed inspection that way, only to find out they never ordered an inspection. Arrangements were made for the techs to come out between 3pm and 5pm and arrived at 6:50pm. They discovered they did not pitch the drain pipe and that was why water was accumulating. Fixed the tape and mastic. Inspector came the next morning and failed as they didn’t connect to the proper breakers – needed 60amp and they connected to 70, needed 30 amp and they connected to 40. This prompted a 3rd visit to fix. Every step along the way we had to call and follow up, push and accommodate the many visits to get the issues resolved all the while dealing with their excuses and lack of concern. During one conversation with Gus he agreed to “make it right “ for all the trouble they caused. In the end, he only agreed to send a gift card to a local restaurant but not holding my breath. If that drywall hadn’t come down we would not have discovered their failures until the next 6 month inspection, or when we saw water accumulating in the drywall or our electric bills went up from cooling the attic. The worst customer service I have ever experienced from anywhere hands down!
