I normally don’t write reviews but the service at A Car Rental is worthy of a review. I have been renting from A Car Rental for over a year. And I can’t say enough what a pleasure it is to deal with the gentleman who attends to the rentals ( for privacy reasons I won’t mention a name ) but he knows who he is. His professionalism and manners are amazing especially in today’s times. He genuinely cares for his customers and goes above and beyond to accommodate clients. A Car Rental is truly blessed to have such a wonderful person representing their company. Giving the temperature with COVID and all many small business have not been able to stay open. The whole process was fast and simple thanks to Luis! He was able to provide us a ride from the airport and even tracked the flight to make sure where to pick us up from when we arrived! The car was great and the return process was also super easy. He provided us a ride back to the airport as well, I definitely recommend renting from here!

This place is the best car rental experience weve ever had. I rented a car for 10 days in February 2021. Definitely 10 steps up from all the other rentals (i.e., big business). Hands down-THE BEST WAY TO GO! Luis is so accommodating and helpful. I love how you are picked up from the airport and dropped off - makes it such a personal service & so much less stressful while travelling.

Guy there was very nice. They are a little more expensive but less hoops to jump through than other rental places.

I visit my father regularly in Ft. Lauderdale, by the public beach. I take public transportation just to rent a car at this place instead of renting at the airport. The fares this time at the airport and big box rentals was between 600 and 800 dollars for a week versus 250 here. Luis was very professional and went out of his way during the rental process to show me everything about the car. This is just one more reason for the need of supporting small business. I will continue to make this the first stop after flying in to visit dad.

First I have to go on record for my guy Luis he is who we rented with I must say more than welcoming professional clean so much more by far the BEST car rental place in the Fort Lauderdale area I also found out while there they offer shuttle services to and from the airport so that was another plus very Satisfied and will definitely be using their services again!!!

We recently rented a car from Luis at aCar Rental in Fort Lauderdale, FL and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. Luis was an absolute pleasure to deal with - genuinely friendly and accommodating. We rented a Dodge mini-van from him for our stay. The vehicle was clean, reliable and powerful and the rental rate was more than reasonable. Whenever I had a question, Luis was immediately accessible and helpful. He even provided us with shuttle service to the airport at the end of our stay. Luis made our spring break experience overwhelmingly positive. I am so happy to have patronized his business and intend to do so in all of our future visits to FLL.

Had a great experience with this company. Luis was at the airport waiting for us when we arrived, no sales pitches just pay and go. There was a little hiccup when we returned the car but Luis made it right! Customer service was exceptional will most definitely use again if I ever need a car from FLL. Would recommend to anyone!

The service and professionalism of Acar Rental exceeded all of my expectations. They pick you up and drop you off at the airport. Louis confirmed my flight the day before arriving and was waiting when I landed. Never tried upselling me on things I did not need- and could not have been more courteous. If you need car rental and professional customer service - this is place, while enterprise and hertz companies around are most unprofessional and with rude staff. By far the best place to rent a car in Fort Lauderdale or anywhere in South Florida for that matter. Small, locally owned with really friendly helpful staff that really do go the extra mile for you. We had to rush to return the car because of a bank appointment than ran late, and forgot to top off the gas. We were told not to worry about it. Wow - just try to get a large rental chain to do something like that for you! We will be back. Again and again.

What a unexpectedly wonderful experience!! Over many years, I have rented cars from many car rental agencies when necessary in multiple cities including NYC, Boston, Los Angeles, Philly, and more. Unfortunately, many times there is so much red tape, long lines, and other challenges I have faced when renting a vehicle.This was by far the BEST experience and LEAST painful I can truly attest to (actually not painful at all, lol).From the onset, the manager Luis was very receptive, highly professional, and genuinely respectful in all of his communications. After learning my car would still be in the shop, I needed to keep the car an extra day and Luis worked diligently to make it an effortless process.The car itself was brand new, clean, affordable, and VERY efficient on gas!!The staff even picked me up at my condo initially and later drove me to my mechanic when I returned the car which was also a fantastic savings.It is with the highest recommendation I can offer for an intuitively- run agency that truly puts the customer first and consistently provides the dignity every person should experience in all business transactions. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I love the staff...Jessica and Junior were so helpful and explained everything to me in detail in renting a car...I was in Hollywood Beach and got a flat tire, and in 30 minutes they had sent Prestige Towing to help me out (VERY NICE DRIVER) and sent me to Dales Tires in Sunrise where everyone there was awesome too...I am so happy I rented my car from A-CAR RENTAL!!! Our family had vacationed in Fort Lauderdale from 04/03-04/06 and rented a car from this vendor for 3 days. We stayed in Sonesta Hotel that is only one block away from this car rental. The Rep Luis is very nice and helpful. The price is very fair and they provide a parking space for us during the nights which saves us $40 per day parking fee since all the hotels by the oceanfront charge parking fees. Once you rent any car for 3 days, they offer free shuttle services to the airport. Luis even let us use the GPS from the shop so we were able to get around the area smoothly and had a great time there. Highly recommend this vendor.

The company picked us up and dropped us off at the airport right on time. The car was clean, ran fine, and was the model we selected ahead of time. The customer service was great...it took little time to pick up and drop off the car. The best part was this place was SO much cheaper than any other place we could find in Ft. Lauderdale. Seemed Shaddy, the solicitor outside beside these guys try to sell you a new and improved version of time shares. We didnt end up renting from them, enterprise had more selection free pickup.and drop and Enterprise was cheaper.

Melvin always picks me up at the airport!I dont ever feel stressed about getting to, or from the airport.You will NEVER find a more accommodating group of people.When I am flying in or out, I suggest them to people sitting next to me on the plane.Two couples are booking in June, due to my recommendation.

Great car, great service and great price. We stayed at Gallery One hotel and A Car Rental let us park at their location, we saved 20 dollars daily. They also pick us up at the airport so overall it was a great deal. Will use them again for sure.

I’m telling anyone, I have traveled around the word and have had my share of nightmares when it came to car rentals. This place was a complete gem. Luis made our reservation and spoke in clear details about the rental. He followed through and offered to drop of the car at our terminal and he was there right on time. We did the paperwork online so it took 5 minutes to walk around the car and we were off. I had to ask myself, can this be real. He then confirmed our return flight and walked out of our terminal when we arrived and it took a 5 minute walk around and we were done. We had a brand new 2019 Toyota carolla with 2,000 miles on it and we paid like $200 for the 5 days. I can’t recommend Luis and Acarrental enough. Do not call the big places and stay away from the low ballers who then hit you with fee after fee. Acarrental was upfront about price and it never changed.

We enjoy renting from them, its a no-nonsense, no frills business, so youre in and out pretty quickly, and can enjoy the sun that much faster... Their rates are competitive and the staff is friendly.

We went to Fort Lauderdale last minute and looked for rentals at the airport and found nothing affortable. Looked for those outside the airport site, but rentals were still quite expensives. We finally found this company and they were almost 3 times less expensive than those at the airport and 35% less expensive that those outside. Great service. They openned the store outside their business hours to accommodate our early departure for the airport (6:30 am on sunday).
