Reserved online, havent buy any extras, and was not pushed to do so.I skipped the counter, picked a car and was out in a minute.Car was clean, new, all worked well.Return was quick and pleasant. No attempts to overcharge.I had many troubles with couple other car rental companies: long waiting lines at the counter, hidden charges, reserved cars not available, all kind of tricks and overcharges. Non of above with Alamo.Highly recommended.
Rented a Silverado to take on our trip up to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. Were local but used the airport rental location as they had better hours for drop off and pick up that accommodated our work schedules. Good prices, easy reservation process, smooth pick up and drop off, pleasant employees. Definitely recommend this location (and our pup approved of the extra room for our trip)!

Was here around valentines day weekend.Love using the skip the counter its the only way to rent a car for me! We had a midsize and really wanted the rav 4 thankfully they had one left in the row we were able to choose from and off we went. Car was great and new highly recommend using! I think I may have left my mount in the car tho is there a way I can maybe check that? Thx

From the self-check-in kiosk to the day we returned the car, the service was absolutely stellar. Helpful, friendly staff. Work quickly and efficiently to get you on your way. The car was in great condition. Smelled and looked clean. We had no worries about it being sanitized. There were Clorox wipes in with our documents. I would recommend it highly. Great Job Alamo.
Check in was fast. I picked the option for them to assign me any car and was given a nice Premium vehicle. The person helping in the garage was pleasant and friendly. On return I was checked back in quickly and again the person working was friendly. Very easy transactions. Good job!
Had a very good experience renting from Alamo the week of 8/21. Rather than providing me a specific car, I was able to select any vehicle on the row that I preferred. I own a 2021 RAM. I happened to see a RAM at the end of the row.... it was perfect. I enjoyed driving the RAM while vacationing in Fort Lauderdale and driving it along the beach strip.
We rented a car with Alamo in Fort Lauderdale and the service was fantastic. We arrived late and they were friendly and informative. This was my first time renting a car and I am happy to say that it was a very smooth process. I will definitely rent a car with Alamo again.

Alamo staff working at the FLL airport were friendly, professional, and genuinely concerned about satisfying the customer. The car selected was clean inside and out, operated as promised. We had our grandchild traveling with us and used the infant seat option. The infant seat was clean, and the price point was great. Overall great experience!!!!
Very nice car! Was very clean and everything went perfect! Is definitely worth it to get the expedited check in! As soon as I went to the rental car location I just went right to the lot, and picked out a car! Less than 5 minutes! Would definitely recommend!

I rented at the FLL airport location. Check-in and check-out processes were very simple. There were multiple vehicles available to choose from. The car I chose was clean and perfect for our needs. I got a great rate on their website vs. the travel sites. I will definitely rent from Alamo again!

We reserved online a few weeks ahead and signed up to bypass the rental desk. The process was so smooth. The rental lot was convenient. It was a quick walk from the baggage claim to the rental car lot. We walked out, picked a car in our category, checked it over and off we went. The Hyundai Elantra was in excellent shape. The drop off process was also smooth. I was emailed a receipt that the car was received in good condition within minutes of the technician checking over the vehicle.I realized we had an earlier drop off time than what we wanted so I tried to call Alamo to extend the drop off time by an hour. I couldn’t get through to customer service when I tried a couple times on different days. The difficulty getting through to customer service and overall cost is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. I rented a brand new Toyota Camry last February 2020 from Alamo for about the same price as this smaller car so I’m disappointed that my money didn’t go as far this time. I’m also a little annoyed that customers are charged an extra $15 per day for an extra driver. For a family, the rates should include 2 adult drivers. Why is that even an issue? Nevertheless, my experience overall was positive and I would rent from Alamo again assuming that the prices and customer service will be back to normal by the time I need a car again.

Over the last 25 years I have rented from many companies. This was my second time from Alamo. It took 1 hrs extra to get luggage at the FLL airport and was past 12 am though I was supposed to pick up car by 10:30pm . I was able to check in through the online site and because of that the agent waited for me past the closing time of midnight. Not only that I asked for an upgrade for a bigger vehicle because of all the luggage and they were gracious enough to give me one without charging me extra . No surprises at the end with the bill . Altogether it was a great experience and I will never rent from any other companies who I had bad experiences with before. The tolls paid through the rental car was surprisingly cheaper than me getting the sun pass . I would highly recommend Alamo for the customer experience, rates, ease of web based check in and clarity with the billing.
I avoided the counter as I have a login and chose to go straight to the rental car. Everything was fine with the pickup and drop off.The vehicle however was not good. It had no windshield wiper fluid (warning kept reminding us of this), blind spot monitor was not working, emergency braking was not working. Error messages were shown when we tried to enable the safety features.
This is the 3rd time that we have used Alamo Rent A Car when we have gone on vacation! They have had the most reasonable prices, and by far the best Custer Service them anyone else we have used in the past! Great Company, Great Staff!!! Keep up the great work Alamo!
Car and service was great, the only thing that kept it from a 5 star was after reserving the automobile, when we picked it up there were $100 worth of additional charges that were not expected.
Totally gouged me!!! quoted me one price, and when I got to the airport to pick up the car, they raised the price!! Take it or wait on line for 30 minutes, or simply leave itThen my flight gets cancelled. I need to go to a different drop off site, which if booked in advance would be free... they charged me over $140 to drop off the car in the new place, although, its a $25 cab fare between the airports. Been using Alamo in Florida (or National) for years... Even if it cost more, I will not be using Alamo in the future..DO NOT RECOMMEND
Reservation was made easily enough, through my airline reservation. Arrival at the airport to leaving with my car, total time 15 minutes, which includes the walk from the gate. Would definitely use again in a minute
I don’t understand at all why you need a physical copy of a credit card when no ones else in the world, practically, does, and when my credit card was approved to pay for my rental. And why can’t my credit card be used to pay for the rental even though my debit card HAD to be used since I didn’t have the actual credit card with me at the time of rentals?I also want to add that, overall, I love renting from Alamo, their ease of registering, their variety of cars, their reliability, their friendly service. The cars are always clean (I had to wipe my windshield a bit this rental) and gas tanks full. Their app is great. I have been a member for years, which offers a small discount and some upgrade offers.
Ive been using Alamo Rental for several years now when I travel and I have NEVER had any notable problems (except the kiosk units dont always work well) with their services or vehicles. I recommend you become a preferred customer to insure the best of services and vehicles and ease of booking, picking up and returning a vehicle.While at the airport last week I sat by a couple that told me horror story about another rental company that was understaffed and had a shortage of vehicles. The had to wait almost 6 hours to get their vehicle. I told them that it took less than 20 minutes, including waiting in line for the customer service agent.
We were double charged and made Alamo aware of the situation the day we were picking up the rental car. They explained over and over that the funds were just on hold and would not be charged. This was on 6/21. It is still 6/29 and the additional charge has not been refunded; which took away from our spending money on vacation.
The reps went above and beyond to make sure our vacation went without a hitch. Much appreciated!
From check in to return this is probably the worst experience I’ve had with a rental company. At check in the lady behind the desk couldn’t put her cell phone down long enough to even look at us and he first suggestion was to use the kiosk to get our vehicle. We probably would have done this is we didn’t want to add a second driver. When we walked into the garage we were told to walk to a tow and pick out a van. There was one available and another family who was also told the same thing and they were also getting the same type of vehicle. We all just stood there wondering what we should do because there was only one vehicle. After some debate they assured us more would be coming in a little bit. We ended up in a late model van with no options and my kids found dried up fruit in the back seats so I’m not very sure how well cleaned this vehicle was. Then when it came to the return, since this was an old style van it had a key for the ignition and we had hooked them to our key chain to make it easier while we were out and about. When we returned the car we left the keys in the ignition and our keys hooked to it because they wanted to have us sign and go over the check out process while we were unloading the car and it was still being moved down a drop off lane. When we arrived home from our flight we realized our keys were still hooked the rental so we called customer service at ft Lauderdale. We gave them the vin from our rental papers they had us fill out a missing item report. Thinking this would be an easy item to find, we thought not big deal. Well after a week of no contact I emailed them and still had not response. I called and was told they would get back to me. Nothing again for another week. Finally I got an email stating they had not found my keys at this location . Now I’m not sure they missed them or maybe they gave them to next people because I’m sure they didn’t even clean or check anything based on our check in and pick up. I was quickly sent 3 more emails in response to my follow emails that no keys were found. Yet if I checked the lost and found items for that day an location keys were found, however they could not “find” my keys. My keys were also unique with keys that could clearly be described along with my cars key fob. I will never rent from Alamo again. Extremely disappointed!!!!
I think that Alamo vehicles are good, expensive but good. I feel that you should have more services for special assistance people. My mom needed a wheelchair but there were no options. She had a walker but there was no help for me. I had two bags and there was no one to even ask for help. They pointed to luggage carts.
Skip the counter - great. Fast check out - great. Ok check in, had to wait 5 min.Only issue car had only about 2 gal of gas. Agrnt wrote this down when leaving, but what if I had not noticed? I had to get gas 5 min out of airport at higher cost.

25 & under dont rent a car here!!!! Absolutely terrible advertising!! I made a car reservation and on the day Im picking up the car they tell me they cant rent me a car because of my age (24 years old). Not only that but they dont want to refund the amount I paid for the reservation because of No-show. The website says they DO rent to 24 & under but with a fee. I dont understand why they couldnt. They should be clear on their website and dont lie to people.
They made it a very easy process from start to end. Got a brand new jeep wrangler ultimate sport with unlimited mileage for our week in Florida. Went all over from Ft Lauderdale to Miami to Orlando and back.

Very quick to retrieve a premium SUV that we had booked. It was a new 2021 Suburban With all the features. Pick up and return was a breeze, and the attendants were friendly and professional. The app works great as well. Will use again.
Once finished paper work at airport on car that was suppose to be reserved and when we went to pick up our car there was no cars available. the associate said they ran out of cars. this reservation was paid two months in advance. we had to wait and wait to get the next car that came in from the wash rack. no excuse for what happened. i will try to avoid using alamo rent a car again.someone from alamo should contact me about this issue.
This was absolutely the best car rental experience I have ever had!! I opted for the “skip the counter” deal where you fill out your information and credit card info online before you arrive and when you get to the airport you walk right out to the cars and you are on your way. No waiting in lines to start your vacation.Upon arriving at the Alamo area, we went right thru the doors to the car area and a representative was there to direct us to the cars. We were allowed to select the car we wanted and the cars were lined up according to size. (Compact- mid size- suv etc). I opted for a mid-size and there were at least 20 cars to choose from of all colors and makes. We loaded up our luggage in the trunk and headed to the exit area. There was a station with an agent inside where we handed our paperwork to check before we left the car rental area. From the time we arrived at the Alamo area to the time we left the premises I bet we were not there more than 5 minutes.Returning the car was easier than getting it! All we did is arrive at the ALAMO drop off area, and an agent was waiting there. We got our luggage out of the trunk, and we’re on our way to the airpot. Nothing to sign, no questions asked. easy, easy, easy.No pressure, no hassles, no problems. This is the way to start your vacation. I have a new best car rental friend - ALAMO
I have rented cars in the past, I have to say renting with Alamo has been the best experience I have had. I get so nervous when I have to bring back the rental because of confusing return policies. Alamo made directions at the airport so easy, people were right there to accept car, just great experience.

I have rented a car from Alamo Fort Lauderdale airport in past and they were always amazing,however this time after just an hour of driving strong scent of marijuana was present in the car.Of course me and my pregnant wife have found a stack under and between the seat and center console.After we reported this to the customers service they were extremely polite,they went above and beyond to help us with picking another car.They upgraded our previously booked full size vehicle to the premium,the only reason for three three stars rating is because Blue Nissan Maxima 2020 with only 39 000 miles was extremely shaking during the entire drive.Steering wheel and brakes and gas pedal was super shaky during all the time,however we had so much going on so we didn’t have a time to return the vehicle.Steering wheel was always leaning towards the left, I had to use a lot of force to oppose it all the time.Overall experience is good,excellent and fast customer service,Irish man working at the counter was amazing as usual.I would recommend Alamo to everyone just beware of cars with higher miles.

Had a flat tire with the car at 10 PM on I-95, only to find out that the vehicle did not have a spare tire. So I was stranded on the highway with 2 kids. Called Alamo to send a tow truck, but finally had to have someone come pick me up because the tow truck never came. Even when I went to Alamo the next day, after having spoken to 3 different people on the phone, I had to wait because the Tampa Alamo could not confirm that the tow truck had indeed picked up the car. Finally a manager allowed me to get a replacement vehicle. The vehicle was recovered only in the afternoon the next day.So If I had not found someone to come get me, I would have spent the night on the highway standed with two kids.As I rented from Ft Lauderdale and returned the car in Miami, they could not even provide a discount. Thank you ALAMONever again, who gives a car without a spare tire???
I always was a loyal customer at Alamo, but don’t even think to rent a car there if your flight arrives after 11 pm. We’ve been told by phone (four times!!!) that employees will wait for us until 2 am max, and at least until 12:30 am guaranteed. Unfortunately, when I got there with dozens of other customers, no one was there. Manager on-site told us the location is only open until midnight. As a compensation, we’ve been offered an upgraded vehicle, and we appreciated it. However Uber to Miami and back costed us over $150, and if we would know in advance that rental car agency has limited hours of operation, we would plan accordingly and avoid extra costs. Other car agencies in car rental center were open after midnight, because they were willing to accommodate needs of their customers. I don’t discourage you to rent at Alamo, but please be aware of misinformation at the call center and make sure you are there before midnight. My flight arrived at 11, but it didn’t work. Other than that, the process of getting and returning a vehicle was quick and easy, and employees were friendly.
I was so incredibly impressed with the service at this location with mr. Vinny and Terrell they help me with everything we need it and service was quick so pleasant and great attitude. I recommend this location over anyone else in Fort Lauderdale. Thank you guys for everything we had a great weekend.

The customer service by Al at the front desk is horrible. No conversation just hands you the rental agreement with highlights no direction. Thankfully I have booked with them before here in Atlanta so I knew to initial. No direction to say this way to go to get your rental car. I went the wrong way towards the bathrooms thats when he said Ms. Moore this way, pointing 👉🏾. The cars new clean no problems. Just very poor customer service.
So far so good, have one more day of a 6 day rental. We driven alot and the car has performed perfectly. We definitely recommend this Alamo in Cleveland Airport. Staff was very informative and helpful.
Overall the process was good except for initial pick up at airport. The online booking was flawless. The price in my package was fantastic. Now for the pickup: we took the shuttle from the airport which was easy; when we arrived at the window there were 2 customer service agents available(it was 9-10pm on a Saturday) they each had had a customer; in front of me were 2 customers, they had kiosk but I needed to add a driver so I wasnt sure whether I could at the kiosk so I waited online. After a good 20- 30 minutes an agent approached us all and asked if anyone had a reservation. I did and she responded why didnt you use the kiosk? I explained I needed to add a driver to which she responded you can do it at the kiosk it will be self explanatory wish I was told that 30 minutes ago ! The kiosk was easy to use and we proceeded to get our van. We were met by an agent who looked at our ticket and told us grab ANY van from row2. We picked a van but the seat belts were broken so we pulled back into the spot and grabbed another. When we arrived at the checkout window of the parking garage, the window agent informed us that was NOT one of their vans !! We explained we were told ANY van . She asked if we wanted to keep it which I refused being it wasnt an Alamo van. She asked if we wanted an agent to get us a van and we said yes being were not going to walk back with bags and all. Before letting someone know we told her NOT the white one as the seatbelts were not working. SURE enough he shows up with the white one. We explain about the seatbelts and he gets mad. Walks away with no response ; I walk over to the window agent and explain what happened and she says youll get another one. A different agent shows up parks and walks away without a word. We check the van : all good and finally on our way. Over an hour to pick up a reserved van. Way too long . The van was awesome and the drop off was very smooth and easy ! Wonderful lady checked us out in less than 5 minutes. I would rent again from them and give them the benefit of the doubt.
The SUV did Not live up to a rental car experience. It was low on washer fluid (had to buy some and add). The transmission was not in good shape. It was bang up pretty good when we got it. It was missing inside plastics on rear door. For what I paid should have been ready to go. Not happy with the SUV.
Alamo provided a very professional service. It was so easy to pick up the car, in immaculate condition, and take off for the day. Return was super easy and employees were exceedingly nice and cordial. We ended the trip with a great feeling.

I rented a compact SUV and received a Mini Cooper. It was the smallest car ever. It smelled like a cat. The car was also in rough shape and seemed like it needed power steering fluid. Horrible experience.
Had a great experience with my rental. I was issued a 2021 Ford Explorer very spacious and comfortable. Always rent from Alamo and will continue they have new cars and great customer service.
We have nothing bad to say. Our experience at the Ft. Lauderdale airport facility was flawless. A lady, sorry didnt get her name, was great. She went out of her way to help us check in and take care of our needs and questions. Returning the vehicle was a very easy process. My only negative, minor, no windshield washer fluid. Didnt realize it until we needed it, lol. We will definitely consider Alamo for our next rental!
Excellent check in thanks to the lady managing this part of the process and keeping the line moving. In the car area, we were told to pick any car in aisle 4 so we did. After waiting in a long line of cars for scanning and leaving, we were told the car we picked wasnt theirs. Had to park the car, get another one and wait in the long line again. Return was a breeze and everyone friendly and helpful. Prior to our trip, our return flight time was changed. I called to delay the car return 1.5 hours to match the flight delay and that was going to add ~$100 to my already $455 cost. The same manager at the FLL airport was able to allow our return time change at no extra cost. Rental costs are currently out of sight as most people know. Alamo is competitive with all others. The manager at FLL check in was truly outstanding with great people skills and efficiency. Im going to do more driving, less flying with rental car costs out of sight. Mike
It was a terrible experience. A man helped us doesnt know what is going on. His name is Joseph, he didnt respect people, and was so crazy when providing services. Just a terrible experience for tourist people to stop by and get service from this place. Hope better staff to assist for others.

Alamo was Great!! We got off the plane checked in our car and were on the road within 30 minutes. Compared to last year when we tried a cheaper company and paid for it by waiting almost 4 hours to get our car. The rental office is located within the airport which makes for a much faster transaction. Would definitely use them again!!

Had a horrible experience with NextCar and theirhidden fees and overpriced rentals when I arrived to their location after flying in from WA.They did the bait and switch on prices pretty much. I Do not recommend NextCar at all unless you want to pay $800+ for a 2 day rental.My sister who was with me suggested I check Alamo for rentals. Got on my phone and booked online while at NextCar waiting for the return shuttle back to the airport since I refused to rent with NextCar and got my rental within 30 minutes with Alamo.No hassle! Easy to book and got exactly the vehicle I wanted for a decent price. Customer service was courteous and quick. Highly recommend and will use their service again!!!!

My sister & I came to Fort Lauderdale thinking we would Uber every where, after our first ride we decided we needed a car, LAST MINUTE, during a HOLIDAY weekend, we called many places then called up Alamo, they had one, at a decent rate! I was shocked, I was asked a few questions, given a time range to show up (they’re open til midnight !) and when I arrived I had the BEST customer service experience I’ve ever encountered with any business, Joseph, he’s from Ireland, he was amazing- not just for his accent, he was funny, kind, even wished me a happy bday (saw on my license was a few days away), quick service & we were in our rental in no time ! I highly recommend using this rental company, I definitely will be using it again!

Alamo made our rental very smooth. Timely, Friendly, Spotless clean inside and out, sweet little Kia Soul that they rented to us from Fort Lauderdale airport. We drove it for a week all through the Florida Keys to Key West and back and loved every minute. Returning our Kia was just as smooth. I highly recommend Alamo!

We rented car from here, we had booking made in advance through costco so we got additional driver charges waived. Cars were clean and tidy. Staffs were friendly as well. Will recommend for sure. Please clarify with them if refueling while returning the car is mandatory. We didnt do the refueling but they didnt charge anything extra but I m guessing it was because we made booking with Costco.

Vehicle wasn’t serviced properly before rental. Warning messages were displayed when I picked up the vehicle that should’ve been remedied by Alamo but were ignored. When I informed the return agent, he told me he would give me a discount on the rental but when I received my receipt by email, there was no discount. Very disappointed.
The line is 60 people deep, and ONlY one attendant serving customers. 2 other attendants have come up front but haven’t helped anyone and returned to the back. So frustrating when you as the customer prepare, plan, and do your part, yet are delayed by hours. Yes we have been in line almost an hour and still have 4 parties ahead of us! ALAMO - staff your customer service appropriately or don’t advertise like you do. Also, why have the kiosk ???? You can’t use them to check in and expedite the process. I paid for more and expected more.
We reserved an 8 -passenger van. Upon arrival, the rental car company tried to give me a 7-passenger van without my consent. I pointed out that I had paid extra for an 8-passenger van. They went on to tell me that they did have 8-passenger vans available. The told me they would get something else ready. Over the course of an hour, we watched employees rev engines, squeal tires, go flying over speed bumps, etc while we stood in the parking ramp waiting for a car. The entire experience of having to observe this, while waiting an hour after a long day of travel with my five children, was very disheartening. I would call it highly unprofessional. We did not get a car until almost midnight that night. I am very disappointed with the service we received and will not be making a reservation with Alamo again.
Traveled to Fort Lauderdale for a week with my family. The rental process was very simple. Booked online and did the counter free check in. Walked up to a vehicle in the class level I rented and it was clean and ready to go. Just needed to provide my license and credit card at the check out gate and we were ready to go. I would definitely recommend using Alamo and this easy check out process.

Experience was quick and easy and we barely had to talk to anyone! Car was clean, tank was full, no issues, and price was what they said it would be when I booked it a few months ago.
Excellent customer service at the fort Lauderdale airport location. Quick and hassle free. Went straight to my vehicle after check in. Was able to choose between 5 vehicles. Will definitely choose Alamo for my next car rental. I have to say that the better price was given through southwest airlines than the actual alamo site though. If you have a costco membership the rate is better there as well.
Desk clerk very helpful and friendly. The man at the cars said to choose any SUV in a specified row. There was only one vehicle! I said, theres only one here and he was very short and said, there will be more. Not helpful at all. I didnt want a Mitsubishi, it was supposedly to be a jeep or similar.
Overall, I appreciate the ease of renting with Alamo. This time around the rental was very expensive and the Chevy Equinox seemed smaller than the other Standard SUVs (Ford Edge and Buick)
Update edit #2- I was emailed- they asked for a call back #. the call back # was in the last line of the email- would have been nice for them to read it.Edit #1: I have emailed @alamorentacar care@alamo - They respond like they are going to take look into this but no reply. I have tried to call Ft Lauderdale Alamo- but nobody picks up there. I am told they only way to get resolution is to talk to someone at Ft. Lauderdale- anybody know who the manager is there and how to contact them?We were accused of putting a large dent in our rental car. They knew about the dent and it was documented before we left the airport. After turning the car in we got an email stating that we have to pay for the dent. luckily we took a picture prior to leave the airport and after multiple hours on the phone they finally dropped the accusation. if they would have taken 1minute to look a the documentation this could have been avoided.
Cars were not cleaned well. Lots of smudges and typical dirt inside the vehicle. In these days of COVID concerns I would think they would do a much better jog of cleaning. I ended up wiping down the steering wheel, all the knobs and shifter
I rented from Ft. Lauderdale Airport.... it was quick, friendly service, car was clean. No surprise charges. Well definitely only book with Alamo from now on.
Beware of Alamo and this Ft Lauderdale airport location. We rented a car in March. Returned the car, and it has an electronic key. I placed this key on the center console, in full view of the attendant, and asked if that location was ok. I was told yes. We were given the go ahead to leave the car. A receipt was emailed to us the next day, but there was no attachment. Being diligent, I checked our credit card and we were charged $250 more than we should have been. After finally getting the receipt through their website lookup, we find out that, without any notification, we are being charged for a “missing key”. Initially calling the Alamo cares support, we were told they were sorry, and would credit us in 1-4 days, and given a confirmation number. This credit never came, and 5 calls over the next 4 weeks we were told they were waiting for the location manager to approve it, which they have never done. I’ve asked for the manager to call us back, Alamo cares states they notate this in our claim, and it never occurs. We finally had to dispute this with the credit card as a fraudulent charge. Well, now Alamo can respond - to the credit card company, and disputes our dispute. Still fighting this 2 months later with the credit card, and waiting for Costco (who we booked through) to hopefully help. If you use this company, video tape your entire return, watch your credit card statement like a hawk, and be prepared to spend hours trying to get your money back if they steal from you. Or just use someone else.
Never dealt with a rental company that was so easy as long as You have the necessary documents.
As the 3,000th reviewer, I have to say, Alamo is a very good rental car company. The customer service and communication I had before reservation, during pickup, and after was down right good. A word to those with wisdom to listen, I would definitely check around the entire vehicle yourself before you drive off of parking garage for anything. They do say that anything smaller than a golf-ball sized damage wont matter, which sounds good but protect yourself anyway.When you pick up your car, dont be surprised if the Alamo agents tries to see if any other higher class car be fitted to your liking.I had so much fun in this. Make sure you drive responsibly.
Car rental at Fort Lauderdale Airport went very smoothly. I chose do a pre-arrival check in, which meant we didnt have to queue at the desk, but instead could go directly to have our choice of cars. We really wanted a white car in the Florida sun, but the white car available was a slight upgrade from our reservation; the attendant said to go ahead and take it with no extra charge.Returning was also smooth, our receipt was scanned and we were on our way.
We use Alamo when we travel to the Treasure Coast of Florida and are very happy with their service and cars! We have used just about every available vendor, and keep coming back to Alamo! Check-out is super fast, and the kiosks work great if you need to get going even faster. We got a brand new Toyota Camry with 200 miles on it this last time, very enjoyable experience. In addition they have locations in all the South Florida airports, so its easy to change up pick-up and drop-off locations in this day of airlines changing and cancelling routes in and out of Florida, thanks again Alamo for making this part of our trip smooth and easy!
