Had to rush to get a rental from Ace at airport when I realized my Hertz rental was off-airport. The Ace employees were fast, efficient and helpful. Got me on my way relatively quickly. Perhaps the car I got could be newer, but its perfectly serviceable and safe.
Rented a minivan for 7 days at ft lauderdale airport today. Got to our hotel and realized the plates were expired! Called multiple, multiple times and they said the sticker must have been stolen. Had police officer run the plate and it is indeed expired. The rental company continues to claim its not expired!They will not make it right and do not have any other vans available. We have a party of 6 and stuck at the hotel. Staff not helpful and management not available. DON’T rent from them!!!!
I will never rent from ACE Rent A Car again. The experience I had at the Fort Lauderdale Airport location was horrible. The quote online was $157 for four days. However when I went to pick up the car, the two guys at the counter were totally confusing, misleading, and crooks. By the time all the extra fees were added on, the cost went up to more than $270. There was an additional second driver fee for my husband to also drive the car. I was asked what part of FL would I be driving in. When I said the Palm Beach area, I was told that I should get the unlimited toll fee pass because the local area I would be driving in had lots of toll roads, and getting the toll pass would be worth it to avoid paying excessive tolls, or worse yet extra penalty fines if I mistakenly pass through the prepaid toll lane. I soon found out that the roads I was driving on had ZERO TOLLS!!! WHAT A SHAM!!! On top of all the hidden fees, I was told there was a standard car rental industry deposit of $200 which I would get back when I returned the car. Dont get taken by this shady business!!!!!
Service was nice enough, very quick but the total I was told online when I rented the car was $75, but when I came to pick the car up was $191. Tons of hidden fees and even after having the cost explained to me twice I still don’t understand how it ended up being more than $100 more than original price. Never again. Use fox, their online price matched the price when I picked up.On top of that, they “upgraded me” from a full size sedan to a tiny hybrid and told me the full size would cost more, even though that’s what I booked initially. The guy at the counter said the “upgrade” was newer and safer for my baby. No it isn’t.Scrolling through their reviews it seems this is common practice for them. I added pics of others dealing with this. Please don’t rent from here.

This is the second time using ACE rental at Fort Lauderdale airport. After being a satisfied customer I returned to rent again. Both times the whole process went smoothly. I rented with a debit and also received my deposit quickly after car was returned. Staff was awesome. The car was new and great on gas. The price was reasonable and all fees were disclosed upfront. I will definitely keep coming back.
There are hidden fees and poor explanations abound. The rep was on her phone the entire time scrolling through something. Not a great experience and will definitely be looking at other options next time.
Was a good rental price overall but was not informed of the deposit until I a raised to pay which was 300 dollars. I expected to pay a deposit but not that much and when I was at the counter the clerk did not have a good attitude. He did not tell me the total and was not clear with the information he was giving me, in which when it was time to pay my card was declined because I didnt switch enough money due the clerk not being clear on prices and the total cost. I switched my money to pay in full and still received attitude from the clerk. I did not like being confused about payment nor not being told about the deposit fee in a timely manner. Though they are cheap in price I refuse to rent with This company again. Not to mention while I was at the counter I overheard other peoples deposit fee which was 200 dollars as opposed to my 300 and again was confused as to why my deposit was higher than at least two other customers. Will not be using ace rental services again. I am an active duty military member who was going home for a death in the family my rental car experience should not be a bad one that starts off my trip back home.
I wish I could give them 10 stars. Both Marco and Alberto provide the most heightened level of customer service I have experienced in a long while. Definitely rent from this provider. Was offered supplemental insurance at the counter and declined it. (My credit card provides that)Upon returning from my trip and reviewing the final receipt, I noticed they charged me $59.75 for the additional insurance anyway.Be very careful in dealing with this company as they did not offer to refund the cost of it after bringing it to their attention.Its too bad too because the rest of the rental process went fairly well.

My whole experience from start to finish was amazing! We traveled to Miami and used their service in the Fort Lauderdale airport. The workers were all very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We were provided with a full tank of gas and the car was in great condition and extremely clean! The whole process to get the car was very smooth. I highly recommend their service to anyone traveling in South Florida looking for a great car rental! We will definitely be coming back!
First time customer. Booked via Expedia 4 to 6 weeks ago. Located at the FLL airport. A quick shuttle from baggage to rental cars. The service was timely and the gentleman who waited on us was very pleasant. The car I reserved a Nissan Kick that was ready and waiting. We were in and out in 10 minutes.Thank you for excellent service. It is becoming extinct.
Excellent service. I got a deal on Priceline that was a bit better and they matched it. I worked with Alma, she was super friendly, she was honest which I found refreshing. I would definitely rent here again. We are from NYC, o have rented with other car rentals as well as Turo, and this experience was better than any of my previous experiences. 😊

By far the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I have been trying to get a hold of someone at this location to make a change to my reservation for over 4 hours! I have been hung up on twice, sent to voicemail twice and when the one time they finally answered I was lied to ( was told I would receive a call back in 5 minutes and waited over an hour). If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I will NEVER use Ace ever again. I decided to return their car early and spend the extra money to rent elsewhere.
Please please NEVER rent from this place.I blame myself for doing it.Vehicle smelled like a million of cigarettes. Because we were short on time we didn’t have a change to switch but the problem was annotate in the checkout paperwork. To top it off the passenger window was broke/stuck therefore we could not even open the window to help the smell.I would understand it all if customer service would have worked a solution.NOPE once they get your money you are SOL. Emailed manager and never had a response.Companies like this should go out of business immediately and it could happen if people read the reviews. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews otherwise I would have NEVER deal with this company.Gave them one star to be able to write my review but they actually deserve a negative of 5.On a note I went an edit my review to inform future customers (if any)that 28 minutes after me posting this review I received an apology ( as you can read) from customer service but it’s more a SORRY NOT SORRY.So disgraceful.They will go out of business soon.
I would give this place no stars if I could. My experience with the employees was terrible as no one was polite. Then on our trip, the rental was damaged from someone trying to break into it. I immediately returned the vehicle to report the damage and trade out the vehicle. They told me I couldnt trade it out and just use it for the rest of the trip. I returned the vehicle in early May. It is now mid July and I still have not had follow up from them about the estimates of the damage. I needed this in order to provide it to the insurance company in order to file the claim and get my deposit back. I have called and spoke to Wanda multiple times but she will not give me a straight answer nor will anyone else try to help me. They still have my $300 deposit and Im assuming they are trying to keep it. This company is now my absolute last choice when I comes to renting a vehicle. Id rather walk my entire trip than use them.
I booked a car online and purchase online car insurance. But when I was there to pickup a car then they told me to buy the full coverage insurance again. And also they don’t have the sedan car that I booked. So i need to pay extra to purchase a good car. I don’t have a option at that time so I paid extra one for these all things. So I suggest everybody to go for another car rental like enterprise, herts, etc. because they don’t have any hidden charges.
The WORST rental car service I’ve ever used. You’re thinking you’re paying a set price online that is better than other car services and once you get there to check in.. boom a whole bunch of added extra demanded fees. The customer service and management are awful. They gave us an unsanitary car with nasty stains on the inside, dents and scratches on the outside, and no tag. We asked for another car because that was completely unacceptable. They gave us another car not much better still dents and scratched up on the outside, and we found old nasty French fries while we were driving an hour later. With Covid going on they don’t even clean their vehicles properly. I’m not even sure how they stay in business. They’re a whole bunch of crooks. The icing on the cake for me was this next part and why I’m even leaving a review because I NEVER do this. They hold a $300 deposit (which is standard I understand that), I retuned the vehicle the same way I received it, my receipt said I would be getting the $300 deposit back, and once I checked my account I only see they refunded me $170 out of my $300 deposit thinking I wouldn’t notice. They need to shut down ASAP. This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. RUN FAST FROM THIS PLACE. Use another trustworthy car service even if it’s more because once you get to Ace it works out to be the same price you’d be paying for a better car rental service. Shame on these people for taking advantage of their customers the way they do.
The guy at the Ft Lauderdale airport was completely misleading and lied to me telling me that I had to take toll roads to get to my hotel when I specifically said I didn’t to sell me a 60.00 toll pass. Then tried forcing me into buying extra insurance saying mine wouldn’t cover and I had to look it up and tell him he was wrong and then he agreed and took my insurance. “This” ACE is running a racket! They did the same thing to the people next to us but they didn’t know any better.
The whole experience with this rental company from start to finish was great! It was a smooth process to get the car and start my vacation. Then on the return, I hurt my foot down in the Keys and one of the parking lot attendants, Pierre, saw I was having issues trying to maneuver around on my crutches and he went and got me a wheelchair. He didnt stop there. He wheeled me all the way to the ticketing counter. He was amazing. I will definitely use this company again!
Marco and Alma were AMAZING! Best customer service in the whole airport! They went above and beyond to put me in a great car for my vacation! I highly recommend them for anyone that is traveling to the area, and I will definitely be using them again!
Rarely do I go to rent a car online & pay that price at checkout, I was impressed to leave out paying the same price I was quoted online! Appreciate y’all for not having any surprise fees!! The man who checked me out & the employee guiding people in the parking lot were both so sweet. Although there was a long line when I got to the location it was definitely worth it, thank you so much!
Upon arrival at the Fort Lauderdale airport, I was greeted by Alberto who provided multiple places to stop at throughout our trip. He also gave me and my girlfriend an awesome deal on a convertible mustang which was AMAZING on the drive down to the Florida Keys. It’s a must do! Thanks again Alberto, I will be back!

My flight was delayed on mothers day weekend. When I arrived - I left my family to get the luggage and ran to the shuttle bus. When I was at the rental place, it was not looking good. The line was 20 people deep, and customers were almost trying to be difficult.The staff were professional and worked diligently to get the vehicles in and out. I was prepared for the worst, but by the time they looked up my reservation to the time my family arrived - they handed me the keys.The vehicle was new, clean, and better than expected.Also, the return was a breeze.I will use them again the next time I travel.Thanks
Ill be completely honest, Im really not the type of person to write a bad review. Even if a company does something Im not completely in agreement with, usually I just let things go and move on. However, I feel as though this situation needs a review. My wife rented a car from ACE Rental. She did not have any final impression, nor was she obviously alerted that the amount of miles you can travel per day was 150 and that we cannot travel out-of-state with the car. When we got to the rental HQ, the clerk was stand-offish in her demeanor and herself and her co-worker were literally having a conversation right in front of my wife and I as we were next in line to receive our car rental. They did not acknowledge us for probably a good 30 seconds (Very unprofessional). It was then when we were alerted after spending $170 that the above regulations were in place (150 miles/day and no OOS travel). The clerk, with her arrogant demeanor, proceeded to tell us, Just cancel your order and youll get a refund. Ok! Very good, now we can move on to a different car rental organization. So we did and had to spend an additional $225 at Thrifty. 4 days later, my wife receives an email that ACE will not be refunding us. I cannot begin to explain that it is frustrating when you cant get straight answers from people. Im not saying never use ACE, just be aware that you can only drive 150 mi/day and you cant drive OOS. Unless youre planning on staying in-state, dont use this place.
Horrible, horrible experience!The machine was broken but nobody told me. They took $843.92 out of my account and I didnt get the car. The guy who says his name was George (refused to give last name) was very rude, he just said I cant give you a car cause we dont got the money. I asked why didnt he tell me before I swiped the card and my money came out of my account, he didnt have a answer.Rude.
I reserved a van through a third party 6/22/21 like I always do without any problems. I have a confirmed reservation and confirmation price. ACE left a vm 2 days before my trip to notify me they had a glitch and will be increasing the price of my van by $455 for a total of $745. I called them and asked if they would honor my confirmation they said no and if I don’t like it to cancel my reservation, the new price is what it is. The staff was very rude and didn’t even try another alternative, I was just told to cancel a reservation that I already had since 6/22/21. I wasn’t even given the common courtesy of an advance notice to weigh my options. They already created a stressful situation for my upcoming trip in 2 days. Will never do business or recommend this company to anyone
I got to the counter and they informed me I couldn’t take the car out of the state of Florida. I had to go to Avis and they accommodated me. I will never make another reservation with them or through hopper. I better get a full refund!!!!

DO NOT RENT HERE -SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE-I would give a -5 if I could. Worse experience ever. They never told us that they charge $300 dlls deposit, which would be returned if the car was in same way as we got it.The original price was 100 dlls for 3 day when we when to pick up the car they told us that the total was $600 dlls including the deposit - this is a horrible company- so the charge us $300 for the rental.At the day of return the car they KEEP $200 dlls from the deposit for Excessive sand, are you serious that’s all there is in Florida sand.HORRIBLE COMPANY AND EXPERIENCE
Had to do a last minute work trip during Spring Break and everything was booked up. Not only were they able to find me a vehicle, they found me a comfortable one too. Alma was very polite and went above and beyond normal standards of customer service. Will definitely be using Ace again
Very poor experience here and will not be using Ace in the future. We waited in line for over two hours for a car that we reserved online. The rep working sat with one couple for about 45 minutes while everyone else just waited. People in line were cheering when they finally left and were making bets on how long it would take other people. The staff paid no attention to everyone frustrated in line and were VERY slow. A few people canceled their reservation and ended up switching lines to a different rental company. I will say once we got to the front of the line a new lady came out and she helped move the line along and was very friendly (I believe her name is Mary?) Other guy needs to pick up the pace or be more knowledgeable on resolving issues. It would be very nice if they had a system were if you reserved again, you could just scan your reservation and go get your car. Also, our car was canceled and we were not notified via any type of method. We ended up paying extra and had to get an SUV because there were no longer any cars available for us. We were so thankful to just have a car and get out of there and start our vacation.
Is there a zero star option? Horrible experience…added tolls without asking. Went through a major issue with getting a refund after getting over charged. Then they refunded the entire payment and then made me pay AGAIN. So out of pocket I ended up spending over $1000 for a $300 rental, and had to wait days of course for the refunded amount to finally return to my account. To top it off the rental was dirty both inside and out. Was definitely my first and last time renting through Ace. I’ll stick with Alamo as I normally do.

RENTAL WAS FILLED WITH COCKROACHES. FILLED WITH COCKROACHES!!!!!! NELSON, MARK AND THE MANAGER HAVE EITHER LIED, OR NOT RESPONDED TO MY COMPLAINT. MY KIDS HAD ROACHES ON THEM. CALLED BUG GUY AT RESORT AND HE CONFIRMED ROACHES WERE THROUGHOUT VEHICLE. THIS RENTAL LOCATION IS HORRIFYING. ACE IS HORRIBLE AND THOSE PEOPLE SHOULD ALL BE FIRED. NELSON SAID PUT GAS IN CAR, THEYRE SAYING NOW THEY TOLD ME NOT TO BUT I HAVE TEXT FROM HIM. HE SAID HE WOULD REFUND ME 1 DAY, NOPE. THEY ARE DISGUSTING, THEY DO NOT CLEAN THEIR VEHICLES OBVIOUSLY - OTHERWISE THERE WOULDNT HAVE BEEN A COLONY OF COCKROACHES IN THIS VEHICLE. DISGUSTING AND DISGUSTED. HAVE CONTACTED BBB.
Go somewhere else to rent your car. I booked through Expedia and by the time I left, I ended up paying double what I expected to pay. I will admit to ignorance on my part about some things, but they try to make it seem like you have no choice but to add certain things and they are taking advantage. I could barely hear the customer service individual, and when I saw the bill, I thought the extra was the refundable hold fee he had just told me about. Make sure you see the itemized bill before you sign anything. I will likely not use them again. Hopefully I have no issues when returning the vehicle.

ACE Car rental charged me additional $75 for brining the car in about 2 hours late. They did not care about why nor did they do anything to accommodate me in any way. When I returned the car they made NO mention about an additional charge which now makes it seem shady. I found out when I saw my credit card bill. When I spoke to a representative he hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. I am an Unsatisfied Customer and moving will advise anyone to be cautious.
I decided to order a rental through Uber, and they used ACE... There was nothing notated about a $500 deposit until I got to the counter, and they didnt accept my insurance (my car is paid off so I dont carry full coverage). I was told to contact Uber to let them know they couldnt rent me a car. I contacted uber to get a refund, and surprise surprise, I was told that it was ACE who should have offered me an insurance package, or refund my money then and there. ACE did neither. The representative at the counter (a guy with barely any teeth in his mouth) was rude and brushed me off. He told me hed cancel my reservation and didnt. Uber shows that Im late in picking up a rental, even though I was at the counter way before my scheduled pick up time, only to be turned away, and not have the reservation cancelled like I was told... Ive been calling places all morning to get a refund. WHAT A NIGHTMARE.
Pleasant experience given the circumstances. Low rates overall, but be careful as the extras really add up. We forgot our kids booster seat at the baggage claim but was too tired to go back... and they forced us to rent one of theirs which cost $14/day!!!! Also, we got talked into the extra coverage for around $22/day, but when looking at the insurance provided by my credit card company, this extra coverage was completely unnecessary. Was initially quoted at around $240 for 5 days... but with the extras it ended up being $380!We had a reservation with Fox where we had been waiting in line for an hour at 10pm on a weeknight. The other rental companies had outrageously long lines as well which werent moving. Then, ACE opened up and as I saw people actually moving through the line, and we followed suit. There was 3 groups in front of us and overall we were driving away after about 30 minutes. Given the ease of the transaction, the price was well worth the trouble.Alberto was very welcoming, professional, and quite knowledgeable. He even upgraded us to a SUV which was much appreciated. Alberto deserves a raise :)
I was little cautious after reading all reviews but to my surprise it turn out good experience . I decided to rent ACE car through EXPEDIA as it was under my budget . I rented car at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport . ACE rep explain me about all charges and what should I consider such as Liability, CDW and Toll pass . I politely declined the coverage as my insurance cover it all and also I purchased Collision Damage Plan through expedia for peace of mind . Car was new and clean. Pickup and drop off was easy and convenient . I would definitely consider renting ACE car again.
Worst service ever. Will never recommend. Employees have no desire to help. Literally call 3 times about my reservation and they all gave me different answers. I had an employee discount through my employer but somehow they screwed the whole thing up. Ended up paying about $400 more. 1st employee told me I couldn’t make a change to my reservation, the second 1 told me yes for everything never asking for my confirmation or anything. It like he knew who we were without gathering information. It must have been the end of his shift because he was in a hurry to get of the phone. Third employee says previous one didn’t even change a thing in the system and told me he could help. He gave me the pricing and everything but took half of the days I had booked to “match” the original price. I’m very disappointed so please do not ever go with this company they are a rip off.**EDIT: after all the miscommunication and frustration Alma at the airport was able to help out and explain things properly. However she was not able to do anything about the bad work ethic of previous 3 employees since it was out of her hand to fix all the mistakes previous employees made. She did great at her job. however, I strongly believe they should do better at training the rest of employees and make sure customer service is the 1st priority to everyone there since this is what will make customers want to come back.***2nd Edit:was given a car without rear left blinking light working which made it unsafe specially with Miami high traffic. Called and talked to another employee in a hurry to hang up to replace car and They were able to swap for another one, which btw had cigarettes smell and once again got there and they didn’t know what I was there for so no cars were available and had to wait. This is how bad employees communication and care is.

If you do not want to have any problems please avoid this rental company. They overcharged my daughter and included insurance and additional driver without any permission .. Please go with main rental companies instead if you do not want any surprises ... I called at ace rental in FLL but they do not care about customers.. I asked for manager but manager is not available all the time... PLEASE AVOID THIS RENTAL COMPANY .. They will give you a good price on Orbitz but then will overcharge you at counter and you will not know it till youll receive the statement.. It never happened with main rental companies like Avis, enterprize and ....

If I could give a zero star I would. My husband had to use them while in Fort Lauderdale- rented from the airport. For some reason they require proof of auto insurance or they charge you for insurance- they are the only company requiring this. Ive been trying to speak with anyone about an I Pad my husband left in the car- Cant get to a human being. I continually get hung up on. I will absolutely never recommend this company. Their customer service is garbage!!!

Horrible experince with these crooks. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I rented a van from here and after 2 hours of waiting they said the van wasn’t available so they gave us 2 cars instead. I explained the hassle of having two cars and having to pay for parking twice so they said to come back the next day. We came back and after 2 more hours we were finally on our way. THEN the worst part was after returning the car on the correct day I was charged an extra day! I emailed them showing proof of the day I returned the car and I still havent gotten a response. STILL WAITING...

Alberto at ACE Rent a Car in the Fort Lauderdale Airport was fabulous! Our flight was delayed and the rental car agency that we originally booked reservations with had already closed their counter! If it hadnt been for Albertos assistance, we would not have had a car to leave with at midnight. He stayed late and rented us a beautiful new Camry. After a horrible day of missed flights and lost luggage, we at least had a rental car to get to the hotel. We had never heard of ACE Rent A Car, but we would definitely book with them again!

Don’t even deserve 1 star but had to give one to comment. We made the mistake of renting through the Fort Lauderdale location. The customer service was terrible from the start and it took us nearly 45 min to get the vehicle. They then attempted to rent it with scratches that were not documented. The person then took another 25 min to update the paperwork to correctly correspond to the damage on the vehicle. Then we drove the vehicle 6 miles to our hotel and the next morning the right rear tire was flat I put a spare on returned the car and photographed that the tire had not been damage. The Manager refused to speak to me and they said that their body shop would call us. They emailed us a week later stating that they would be charging us $468 for changing the tire. Are you kidding me. Criminal extortion if you ask me. Do not do business with this company.

This is the worst customer service Ive ever had with a car rental place. I booked this car through Expedia and the total price was $301.97 for 5 days. Well..they talk you into an upgrade car for a discount (DONT DO IT) for an extra $75.00 but that wasnt the problem. We declined ALL their extra insurance, as we dont need since were covered through are own. When we returned the car, the young guy printed out a receipt and I saw it said $615.17!! I said whats this, he said they always put a deposit hold that comes off. Without thinking anything more of it, I boarded my plane and went home. Three months later, they consistently told me they would remove the extra $200.00 BUT THEY NEVER DID. I even have proof in writing that it takes 30 days. I contacted my credit card and they tried to dispute it as well. MORAL OF THE STORY, this was a lousy experience and a total rip off. I called them numerous times and did reach their corporate office and they said they would reverse the excess charges- THEY NEVER DID. After 3 months of writing them back and forth and phone call conversations- NOTHING. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY. THEY HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, EXCESS CHARGES THAT THEY NEVER EXPLAIN TO YOU THAT YOU DO NOT NEED AT ALL, THEN LIE TO YOU STATING THAT THEYLL REVERSE CHARGES- THEY NEVER DID. With all the competition of car rental companies, please got to a reputable rental car company. Ive reported this company to several Better Business Bureaus and have told many business associates that travel to Fort Lauderdale TO AVOID ACE RENT A CAR - HORRIBLE SERVICE!
I travel often for business, and had the pleasure of renting a car from Ace. Absolutely a great experience, that was assisted by a great associate, Nelson. He provided great service! Fast and efficiently, and was very helpful in answering all my questions, as well as clearly explaining policies, and the toll program. Nelson was a gentleman, and I highly recommend Ace to anyone looking for a great experience in an industry where service and customer relations often go overlooked. Nelson and Ace rent a car is where I will prioritize my rentals in the future whenever business travels to ft lauderdale
In the Fort Lauderdale location, when I encountered a problem with my license, both Nelson and Alberto were so incredibly helpful. They kept trying to help me to the extent it was possible, and were never rude no matter how much I pestered them. The service was impeccable and without the two of them, I don’t think my experience would’ve been the same. Amazing job! If you’re going to the Ft Lauderdale location please get ACE! Customer service is great. Say hi to Nelson and Alberto if possible. Thank you!!
Scammed!!! I made my reservation through wisecars and denied the additional insurance option. When I got to the counter they, or course offer it, for which my husband and I clearly declined. The ace representative made small talk and military talk to my husband while adding the insurance to our reservation . We were there so long and others were waiting for us we signed the agreement for additional charges for what we thought was just for the SunPass toll which we agreed to and went on our way. Shame on us for not clearly reading the agreement. We were charged more than what we paid wisecars for the rental for additional insurance which we did NOT agree to. Tried fighting it but we signed the document. I will never rent from ace or wisecars again. Wisecars was no help either. READ YOUR AGREEMENT. If there is one star it’s because I couldn’t post without choosing anything.
The reason for the 2 stars is solely because I had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes to get my car. Was this because it was a Saturday afternoon? Other than that, the staff was friendly and competent; and the car was clean and the correct size.
Nelson, Mark and Nelson are exceptional when it comes to customer service. They made it so easy for us when renting a car. I will definitely come back to rent with them.

So many hidden fees! I only suppose to be charged $198 but by the time we rented it it was $600!! Ridiculous. They charged us $300 for a deposit which we werent aware at all and hoping we get it back soon. Not sure if I would go back here..
I’m updating what was a 1-star review to a 4 star. The car (brand new Nissan Murano) was perfect during our time in south Florida. There were a few customer service issues during check-in and when trying to arrange a return, but those were overcome by a call from Ace that was reasonable and professional. Misunderstandings happen and I appreciate their effort to rectify the situation.
Alberto was amazing with the check in. He was able to get me try the new frontier. Impeccable customer service. Can’t wait to come again!!
My agent Alberto at Fort Lauderdale really helped me out after another rental company basically screwed me on my vacation. I’ll definitely be renting with Ace again in the future!
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!! LOOK AT THE PICTURESHonestly worst experience I have had renting a car. Went through Hotwire paid 167.78 for the rental which had taxes and fees included for a silver Camry. I declined insurance because I have my own so I Get to the airport and have to wait 30 minutes for a shuttle then I get to the place and they tell me that I need their insurance and toll pass and a bunch of other things that I could not understand because they employee was more concerned of what was on his cell phone and how nice his Cuban chain look than answering my questions. So then after I sat there for an hour they dont have the Camry so I get a red Jetta that is literally falling apart and then they tell me that they need a credit card to hold 375 and only refund me 200!
Absolute WORSE CAR RENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER! If you want to pay for a rental with rental with roaches and deal with trash customer service (excluding Alma whom was very nice and sweet) rent from here. I would give this place 10 negative stars if possible. We picked up the car and drove 30 mins to our hotel we grabbed our bags.. after 20 mins we return to the car only to see a large ROACH crawling on the dashboard my husband smashed it. We then open the rear door where we saw several baby roaches crawling thru the cracks and crevices of the seats and side paneling. We instantly closed the door and began to look inside and that is where we then saw SEVERAL different ROACHES crawling all over the seats, steering wheel and every other surface you can imagine! I almost fainted to think that we were given this infested vehicle and that we also rode inside with these roaches for about an hour! Our travel pillows and jackets were still inside of the vehicle when we noticed the roaches, my husband grabbed our items and I spent almost an hour hand washing those items in a hotel sink!! I also spent more time checking our luggage and shaking our items because I REFUSE TO TAKE ROACHES BACK TO MY HOME! I called this morning and spoke with a very rude lady that did not offer one apology and told us to drive the vehicle with the roaches back to the location! absolutely not!!! We will NEVER EVER EVER EVER rent from this place again and I wouldn’t not recommend to anyone ever!

They try to upsell you on everything but worst yet charged me for insurance for simply asking about the difference between their insurance and one I got from Expedia. $20/day extra. Make sure you check the bill sheet before you sign and walk away. Also lady made it sound like if I didn’t upgrade I’d have to wait. “I have to see if your car would be ready”. Luckily I saw through that gimmick.
You know what! I’ve never seen such a horrible car rent company before. They gave me a car without even cleaning it. Mess, dirty car (it was convertible red Ford Mustang)! Moreover, passenger sun visor was missed at all! The roof didn’t close properly so that was a gap between back windows and roof! Car was old in generally, maybe 2016 year. Employees are not friendly.
We had a reservation with Budget on the 14th who was all out of cars. They sent us to Avis who had a 2 hour line. My wife spotted a sign by the ACE counter that said cars available and there was nobody in line so I gave it a shot. To my pleasant surprise not only did they get us into a Mini Van in less than 10 minutes it was cheaper than what we were going to pay at Budget/Avis!! Awesome experience, would recommend to anyone. Thank you ACE!
I loved checking the front deak. They were sweet and kind. Checking back in was confusing for me but overall it was a plesant experience.

Decided to hop down to Lauderdale for last minute trip and needed a rental. I had a great experience with the representative, Alma, at the airport location in Fort Lauderdale. She was very considerate and she also went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met for my rental experience. I look forward to using this service again on my next trip!

Please do not waste your time or money. The customer service is the worst and so are the cars! The car we rented was infested with bugs and no one was willing help i made 3 calls and was told there was nothing that could be done. Trash service and trash cars go somewhere else before they ruin your trip.
Andrew, at ACE did a fabulous job, finding my husbands missing luggage in a rental car and facilitated getting it sent back to us in New York. The entire ACE Team cooperated in getting this job done. We were very pleased with the rental service, dispite them being very busy the day we arrived they worked very hard to accommodate everyone!

Please do not book here. Spend a little more and go with a much better company that is located in the same area.First off when I landed I could not find the location so I tried calling the desk but no one would answer. (This appears to be a reoccurring issue in the reviews). I found the rental desk and was told my car was not ready and that we were early.... my car was supposed to be ready at 5 and it was 5:30. I began the paperwork process where he tried to make me pre-pay the tolls for $50. I told him no and he got an attitude with me. He told me I was going to end up paying $100 for tolls and they were offering me a pass for $50...... I never hit a single toll road. He then tried to make me pay the insurance. He then tried to make me pay my own insurance deductible. He finally had the nerve to say there was only one gas station and that I should pre-pay gas. I told him no to everything and showed him the price I had prepaid and he finally quit arguing. I went outside and the car had multiple door dings and hail dents all over. There were even burn marks in the leather seats that they did not mark. The car was also covered in soap suds so I couldn’t see all the damage. The only decent part of the whole process was bringing the vehicle back. They didn’t take long at all and I was able to return it in 5 minutes. The guy in the back that brings the car out and helps you return it was great. I will never use ACE again. Lesson learned.
Very poor customer service.I left my Sunpass in my rental.I called the location & was told “ oh we have a box of those things, you need to email the manager Marco” I did & he never replied. 4 days later I called back & was treated rudely, put on hold & then transferred to a voicemail box that just said “GOODBYE” & hung up on me. The car was old. 105,000 miles. The transmission was slipping at low speeds. They claimed unlimited miles but when I arrived they cut it back to 600 because I’m a local.The “$41 a day” was actually around $80 a day.Don’t be fooled. Rent from a reputable company.I still have not received a reply to my email. I do not have my Sunpass returned of any communication from Manager Marco or any Ace staff & there is a shortage of the portable ones due to the pandemic. I cannot buy a new one.

Read some awful reviews but my experience was just fine. At a day when there wasnt a reasonably priced rental at FLL available I reserved at Ace. The line was short and the agent was courteous and didnt try to sell me anything that I didnt want. The car was clean and fine and actually an upgrade from what I reserved
First car they attempted to rent me was very stained inside (every seat has some sort of stain) and smelled like smoke. There was a dent on the hood and scratches on the back bumper.Customer service was super nice and switch it out for me.
Nelson and Alberto helped us greatly with our car rental in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We had an issue with our license and they were extremely helpful in helping us figure out the issue. Not only were they kind and patient for helping with this, they also upgraded our rental car. 10/10 experience!
Run. Run far away. We rented from Ace. Prepaid through Priceline. Our flight was delayed, and we showed up late. Reservation cancelled. Shoulders shrugged. Nothing we can do! I think we once again have a very different definition of what the word “reservation” means. If you want your trip ruined, by all means go with Ace.
WORST RENTAL CAR PLACE EVER! Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money with ANY of the other rental car places. The wait was over an hour, with 3 people and they didn’t care at all how long the lines was. Every other rental car place had people in and out. We spent the entire morning of our first day of this vacation at this place.

Our experience was okay. The car they gave us smelled like smoke so bad and we couldn’t get ahold of the company by phone to try to switch it, so we had a to deal with a smoked in car for a week, which made me super sick the whole time. Staff was alerted and did nothing to fix it.Here what I would say positive:-Easy to pick up and return car right at the airport-Friendly, helpful staff-Upgraded the car for free
