Somebody used Proper Towing to tow my nieces car from my other nieces apartment complex last night. The reason they gave was because it didnt have a permit. There were 17 other vehicles in that area with no permit, and one parked in a handicapped spot. There were two men, one said they pick random vehicles and tow and one wouldnt answer questions and was belligerent to the girls. They caused damage to a brand new vehicle and will not take responsibility. They refused to speak with my niece and hung up on her several times today when she called to ask what had happened to her car. Two of the employees have been rude and refuse to answer any questions. My niece asked to see a video they mentioned, and they told her no. They refuse to give an explanation of what happened. They have cussed my niece out for calling and try to blame her for the Damage. We have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau as we are not the only people they have done this to. We have seen many reviews of their horrible and unprofessional behavior.If being rude and ripping people off is how this business is run, they shouldnt be in business.

Our 2021 Subaru Outback was towed by Proper towing before the big snowstorm. Even though 3’ of snow was forecast for Colorado he still parked in under a tree while it was on his lot. A tree branch fell on our car. He was adamant about not reporting it to his insurance company and just paying for the repairs out of pocket. We brought the car for an official estimate, submitted it to him & now he won’t return our phone calls or messages. We have now submitted it to our insurance who is going to pay for the repairs then go after Proper Towing legally to be reimbursed. Obviously this company has no integrity nor moral standards. If you care about your car this is not the company to use.

Do not use. These guys wrecked our transmission and then when I called to ask how to report damage the guy literally told me to go f* myself. TERRIBLE COMPANY!Response:*it is not a company car it is my husbands car. You would know that if you listened instead of yelling at me. You are not a damage feee company. You towed a 4 wheel drive vehicle on two wheels. You damaged the transmission and based on the response - you are well aware of that. In addition, the photo showed our vehicle was parked as close as possible to the other cars without hitting them. You are legally obligated to give me your insurance information when damage is reported. If I do not have that information with in 48 hours, I will have to file a police report. Your towing was negligent at best and you are responsible for the damage.

I was parked at my apartment complex attempting to fix my disabled car. Within 5 minutes of me running to grab a part so I could start my car, it was towed. They were claiming I was parked in a fire lane but there were no visible signs or curb markings. The dispatcher lied to me and gave me multiple different stories about who they called and whether the manager of the property called them to tow, all while I was standing in the office with the manager. She then hung up on me when I asked if she wanted to try and tell that story to the manager himself. Regardless, the unprofessionalism and the rude language I received is embarrassing. A towing company should still have a level of respect and professionalism regardless of who or why someone was towed. The owner spat profanities at my dad who was trying to get information from him. Additionally, I noticed today that my vehicle was damaged from the towing. This company will be hearing from my insurance, stay far away from any properties they are contracted with!

My daughter, who has a handicap permit, was towed while being parked in a valid space. We have never been treated with such obscene language and disrespect. She had to drive several miles to pick up her car. I will be hiring an attorney to go after this very corrupt company. The situation could have been handled much better with a young disabled person.The owner should be ashamed!!!

These people tow during FoCo’s first week of classes at CSU, make absolute certain you’re not parking somewhere with unclear signage.The woman who answers the phone was kind, albeit that’s a tough job that I surely couldn’t handle.The drivers wouldn’t wear masks while we attempted to pick up our car. Despicable people preying on college students. Way to go Proper Towing.

I called a couple times, trying to track down our vehicle. We had little to go on, and it was very stressful. They did give me a call back, which I thought was very thoughtful of them. Boy, was I wrong. As I began to ask the man if our vehicle was with them. He rudely intrupted me and began to belittle the situation. All I wanted was a simple yes or no. I was beyond stressed and was absolutely disgusted of his actions.not to mention the unprofessionalism of this business. I do not appreciate the rudeness of this company. I will never recommend this business and I will never use them. Thank goodness our vehicle was not with them. Kindness is something hard to come by these days. But as a small business owner myself, I would never treat a customer in the manner they did.

My car had damage from the tow. The guy who towed me was a douche. Also had $100 dollars cash missing from my car. Filed a police report.

This company tows four wheel drive vehicles on two wheels which is known to cause damage to the transmission. They are knowingly negligent and if you call to complain they will cuss you out. Awful people.

The tow service was quick and efficient. The tow driver did not hesitate one moment to solve my problem of having two young children with me and unable to get a ride from anyone at the moment. His wife came with her two children and extra car seats. She took us to the repair shop and the driver got my car there shortly after arrived. This helped me out immensely in my time of need and I am very grateful.

Picked up a front wheel drive automatic car in park up by the rear and started to drive off before I caught them and paid them to drop it. Who knows what damage was done to the transmission. Side walls of tires now have damage as well. Not only did I have to pay a ridiculous fee for being in a spot downtown for 2 minutes, but now will need to replace tires and get my transmission checked. Definitely a deterrent to going and spending any time or money downtown. The sign was so low to the ground I didn’t even see it as I pulled in. What a business... I hope for everyone’s sake you guys didn’t ruin my transmission.

These guys are a fraud. Do not patronize this business. They sit in Old Town on a Sunday evening waiting for kids to park in the wrong spot for 15 minutes in an empty parking lot. They tow the car 18 miles away and charge $322 for picking it up 30 minutes after they towed it. They charge $66 for after hours pickup and still charge an additional $30 storage fee. And they lie and say the owners called them to tow the car. How can the owners call a business in south Loveland to tow a car in north Fort Collins that was parked for 15 minutes. At least have the courage to man up and tell the truth. They are in business to take advantage of people.

This man really knows how to keep your lot clean of unwanted vehicles. I tried 3 different tow companies before this one and I have never dealt with a more dedicated and professional crew!
