Took the whip in for new brakes after losing a brake pad in my driveway…clink!The guys in the shop didn’t judge me for that. They got my car in quickly with a quote for new calipers, pads, and rotors. It was reasonable based on what I’ve paid in the past. Very friendly and thorough service!

What a great group of folks!Honest, competent and timely. Our daughters Lexus gx470 had fluid leaking near the drivers front wheel, we were unable to drive to Fort Collins to see exactly where it was coming from. I suspected that it might be break fluid and thought the brake line might be leaking. We did not want our daughter to drive without knowing for sure, so we had it towed to this Brakes Plus. After their inspection they discover that it was only a coolant leak caused from a broken clamp. They made the repair and checked out the brake system. Steven called to let me know the issue and that it was fixed for no charge...I tried to pay something and they said it was only a few minutes of their time. This is definitely a situation where a mechanic could have made something up for a costly repair. They did not! Thank you for your honesty and being a great service team!!!I wish we could find more stories like this on google. I will highly recommend this shop to all!

They do a good job but will not adjust alignment until every part they detect to be slightly faulty is replaced. I lifted my truck and just needed it aligned as close as possible because I needed it for transportation and they would not work on it. I had to take it to another garage who understood the situation and was more than happy to perform the alignment to get me by until I could replace they parts myself and bring it in for another alignment. I will not ever use them again for alignments or anything else.

I needed new brake pads and rotors. After interacting with several service writers all over town, I ended up going with Brakes Plus. Overall, this place has a good atmosphere, the staff is nice and I didnt feel like I was getting jerked around and told I had to pay $1000+ to replace my brakes like everywhere else.In the end, after the stressful and draining journey of trying to get new brakes pads and rotors installed on my vehicle, I bit the bullet and paid the premium of having professionals service my brakes. I am not disappointed. Also, they got me in super fast and I had my car back within a couple of hours.So far my new brakes operate like a dream, feels good to come to a stop at a red light nice and smooth. I feel safer and more comfortable on the road. Will update if I run into any problems.

Update to the post I did 3 weeks ago. Finally had time in my busy schedule being a single mom to make another appointment to have brake plus recheck way my brakes are squeaking so bad that its embarrassing. THEY DID NOT SQUEAK BEFORE BRAKES PLUS SERVICED MY CAR. and WHY MY CAR WAS PULLING TO THE RIGHT AFTER BRAKES PLUS DID MY ALIGNMENT . Get location store manager says my appointment was at 11am not 3pm as I had in my schedule. I go to school part time would NOT have made appointment for that time. Manager tells me if I wait 2 hours they might be able to get me in and then wait ?? For them to fix whatever they did to cause my car to actually have issues. Dont have time or another car to wait all day . My car didnt have issues when I brought it in. Just wanted standard maintenance done on my vehicle. Almost $500 out pocket and left in a worse spot then before. Called cooperate office. Cant talk to live person says to leave a message and when I try it says mailbox is full. Is this how you do business or just to single white mom?? If I were a man would I got say treatment??? Just tried email brakes plus customer service got automated email stating they were out of office for next week.. now who am I suppose to contactOver priced. Took over 6 hours to do??? Brakes didnt squeak before I went in. Now they do. Suv didnt pull to the right before ..now it does. And went to charge me double for a part that didnt need replaced

VERY HONEST BUSINESS! I had some squeaking/grinding noises when braking so I took my truck in to them to have them check my brakes before taking a trailer trip this weekend. They told me my brakes looked awesome and it must have been dirt or something causing the noises (I live down a dirt road so this was most likely the case). VERY professional, kind, honest, fast working employees! I will definitely go back!

Wow these guys are Amazing!First, they dont treat a woman like a girl as some car repair shops do.Second, they inspected my car for free. The dealership wont do that.Third, they were fast, honest and low priced.The dealership during a routine oil change said I needed a $500 caliper replacement on one side. That would not include brake pads, brake flush, or labor. So I took it to Brakes Plus for a 2nd opinion.In 1 hour they Inspected, Replaced BOTH rear pads & rotors, flushed the brake system and replaced the braking fluid all for $271. Brakes Plus said there was no need for the Caliper to be replaced. The brake pads have a lifetime warranty but request is to be looked at again in 40,000miles.We waited in their waiting room which was clean, quiet and comfortable.Im so impressed with their customer service and integrity.

Had a 4:00 appointment. Showed up at 4 and was told Id have to wait with the car. Thats fine, but after an hour I left. Saw cars leaving the garage one after the other and bays opening up, and no one in the office for 30 minutes to ask if I would still be seen before they close in an hour! Looked back there and people were texting...not working lol. Im never bothering with even trying this place again.

Brought my girlfriends older Toyota in for an alignment before we purchase tires. They were ready at the appointment time and finished within the hour. I had a coupon for $5 off and when paying we were told Jesse had happily doubled it to $10 off!Great customer service and quality will get my business every time. I came to Brakes Plus for a wheel alignment and an oil change. They were super helpful and friendly, and most importantly, did not try to upsell me or add on extra charges for anything. At other places, I have felt like I need to be on the defensive and that they are trying to get extra money in a dishonest way, but not here. I also heard a lot of interactions as I was waiting, where they explained what they had done to save the customer money, or that the brake pads on their car were actually fine and did not need replaced right now. The honesty was a huge relief and I will use them for everything I can in the future.

I went in to have a brake light replaced and the service was exceptionally quick! In under 10 minutes I was out the door. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

They didn’t have the light bulb I needed, but there’s an auto parts store right next door where I purchased the right bulb and they replaced it at no charge! Great service!

I took my car in a few weeks ago to change my brake fluid and took advantage of their free brakes check and it turned out my car had a leak. When they fixed the leak and flushed the system, the cap wouldnt go back on! They called me right away and let me know the situation and how weird it was and that they were going to keep my car a few days until they could get a replacement.I was definitely fine with that, but then when I came to pick up my car, the main cylinder wasnt working! We were all baffled but Mike and his crew were super professional and very patient in explaining everything to me. Once we got the situation taken care of, they gave me a wonderful discount for all the trouble.I would definitely recommend these guys!

Got an oil change at Dellenbach Subaru and they told me I needed new rear brake pads. They quoted us at $520. Took it here and they let us know all 4 pads needed replaced. They replaced all 4 and flushed the brake fluid for only $460. Saved money and they did an excellent job! Phillip is amazing! Would recommend to anyone looking for quality service at a reasonable price.

Ran into a fluid leak while changing my own pads at home. Had it to the shop at 4:30 on Friday and they had it ready for me by 10 the next morning. Didnt try to sell me anything extra. Steve was very professional and courteous. I would recommend this shop.

I called four places before taking my 2014 car in to Brakes Plus. I have never replaced the brakes and thought it might be time. Brakes Plus had the best deal and most precise pricing. Everyone else gave me wide price ranges. Better yet, when I took it in, they said I did not need new brakes yet. I wonder what the dealership or Big O would have charged. I would bet they would have replaced the brakes anyhow. Im delighted.I did return 6 months later and had them check my brakes. I asked that they check the alignment. The manager called and quoted me a price for the brakes and alignment which I quickly approved so that I could get my car back the same day.When I picked up my car I was surprised to see that with my approval he had thrown in a number of extras such as a brake flush and upgraded brakes, costing an extra $100.00 When he called he never offered anything as options, he just quoted one price with no discussion or explanation. I did question this when I picked up the vehicle and he gave me back $30. Its a bit devious.

Philip was great he explained why my issue was not simply the need for a power steering fluid flush and why I was confused based on the incomplete diagnoses from a tech at a previous shop. He had the right parts on hand to replace my rack and pinion and the staff to install them. He worked with me on price and threw in a free wheel alignment. I have been bouncing from shop to shop looking for this kind of excellent customer care. I will most certainly be back and asking to speak to him specifically.

Ive been a long time Brakes Plus customer for a decade now. Over the years Ive visited a lot of different locations. Philip & the boys here in Fort Collins keep winning my loyalty time & time again. I trust them, know I can count on them, & theyve never let me down. Most recently, I went in unannounced, without an appointment, because my car was leaking a lot of oil. Not only did they get me in that same day (which was a Saturday,) but they fixed my issue quickly (a worn out gasket) & free of charge. Plus they were all extremely friendly. Glad we selected Brakes Plus, as the initial assessment and quote was done within my lunch time, the service is fast, reliable, and the experience was the best!Pricing is fair and well under what I thought it might be.We cannot reccomend a better service shop than Brakes Plus!

Had a car that had been in accident to have alignment check. They were very accomodating in checking it out and to top it all off didnt charge as the car ended up being at total loss. Quick, thorough, and fair.

Had a great first experience this morning. I brought my SUV in with a suspicious noise and the techs were super honest and sold me nothing. They even showed me what was going on and recommended when to come back when I need new pads. Their rates are transparent and I will definitely become a paying customer when my pads wear down a bit more. Their synthetic oil change prices also seem to be very reasonable... I just paid almost $30 more for an oil change that didn’t include some of the features that Brakes Plus included for a lower price.

Brakes plus is always easy to work with! Steve took the time to explain everything in a way I could easily understand. He gave us quotes and went over everything they included before we made a decision. The staff is always polite, professional and they do their best to make sure you get what you are paying for. They get you in and out in a great amount of time and are honest and reliable.

One of the only shops in town I trust my Jeep with. They don’t try to nickel and dime you and I always experience great customer service when I bring my vehicles in. Phillip went above and beyond helping me diagnose a couple of problems that I have been having and I was charged nothing as inspections are free. I HIGHLY recommend using this shop.

I took my truck in for an alignment and was told the tie rods needed replaced. After getting the tie rods replaced, I took the truck back in for an alignment. I was then told that my front wheel bearing needed replaced. I don’t get why they wouldn’t have found that the first time. After being fed up I took the truck to Cheyenne where the truck was aligned no problem and was out the door. I would not recommend any services here and would suggest a second opinion on any of their diagnostics.

They really worked with me for a good price and ensured they did the best work so I do not have to come in again and spend more money. They genuinely care about their customers and take pride in their work.

Great experience with Brakes Plus in replacing all four brake pads, rear rotors, and a little bit more. This was a second estimate I received on the brakes and some other suggested repairs. All estimates were below what Id receive before from another reputable repair facility here in Fort Collins. The thing that made me choose Brakes Plus were the glowing reviews. I brought my 2013 Toyota Tundra in on 6/25/2020 for front and rear brakes. Steve greeted warmly me and explained the process from inspection to completion. My daughters and I waited at the shop while the work was being done, and every member of the staff treated their customers with kindness and courtesy. Steve checked in with me during the process, and he delivered a world class experience. I highly recommend this location and I will continue to have my vehicle serviced by this team.

Im pretty disappointed in this location now, as Ive used it before with good experience. I knew I needed new front rotors and pads based on a recent Uber vehicle inspection. After bringing it in for BP to take care of it, they told me I needed to replace my rear rotors and pads as well (read: twice the money more than what I budgeted for).I decided to get a second opinion. Second opinion let me know my rear rotors and pads (while used) were still perfectly functional and would last for a while. They showed me my pads next to brand new pads and how my existing pads still had about 50% life left. Sure, thats not brand new. But it is still 50%. So BP had recommended I replace perfectly good parts.Due to this, I looked closer at the estimate. The labor cost was extremely reasonable. I did find out that the cost of parts was marked up around 400%. If that isnt deception at its finest, I dont know what is.

I went in to get my brakes checked at this location and had fantastic service from both Phil and Steve. They were respectful, honest, and very helpful. From the start, I appreciated that I could make an appointment online and easy access to coupons to lower my bill.I came in for an full synthetic oil change and an alignment check on a Ford Escape AWD. I was very pleased at my tab. I got both for what I expected for a realignment alone.With the pandemic I took a seat on the lawn where I could see the service bays. Considering the work involved my wait was not long (less than 2 hours).I was treated professionally with 3 different employees I dealt with and they acted like professionals from start to finish. Based on my experience today, they have a repeat customer in me.

The headlights in my car needed a change and I had went to the auto shop store near this location. I was hoping that the people at the shop could help me change the lights sense I was having some trouble with that. When I asked the cashier they told me that they dont offer that service anymore but they did say that if I went next door to Brakes Plus they may be able to help me change the lights. When I went to Brakes Plus I was treated with great service. Steve was the nice gentlemen that was helping me and I had explained that I was having some difficulty with changing the headlight. He than asked me to plese dirrect him to the car and he began to work on it but also experience some difficulties. He than poliety told me to wait while he went and figured out how to change the headlight on my car model. When he came back he explained why he was struggling to change it and than proceeded to change it correctly very quickly. When he was done I thanked him and asked him if how much would that be and he insisted that it was free. Everyone here is very nice and I am so thankful for their increadible hospitality I would one hundreded percent reccomend this location to someone else.

I made a last minute appointment last night and was worried that I had missed my deadline for any appointments today. When I got into the store, the attendants were at attention and ready to help at a moments notice with my appointment. While I was only there for a quick break check, they also topped off all my fluids in addition to inspecting and flushing my breaks! The service here is top notch and wicked fast! Ill definitely be back again as soon as I have any other issues.

Took my car to get the alignment and oil change done they did a great job and most of the staff is awesome and super friendly! I will say that their service advisor Caleb should probably not be in customer service at all. He has an attitude and is super dismissive. I was incredibly disappointed with his attitude in general, enough so that although I never leave reviews but I felt management should know and I was motivated enough to leave a one star review even though overall they did a good job. Owners or managers if you read this you gained a customer through every staff members actions except for Caleb and you also lost one because of him.
