Great experience! Drove up and waited in line for less than a minute before someone came to ask what I needed. I told him an oil change so he said to leave the keys in the car and wait inside. It was really cool inside! I found a seat amongst 4-5 others. Maybe 5-8 minutes later someone came in and asked if I wanted the cabin filters changed. I said yes knowing they have never been changed in 3 years. He also asked what oil I wanted, the expensive or cheaper. I asked what he recommended. He gave reasons for each, but I chose the cheaper. Maybe another 5-8 minute wait and I was done. Great service. Reasonable prices.

Took car in for AC not cooling. I had checked with gauges and knew I was low on refrigerant, but wanted it done right. They communicated costs and timing up front (they were busy that day, so took about 4 hours) and answered all my questions after the fact. Ive also been here for 2 state inspections and would highly recommend so far.

Highly recommend this place. After five visits to Firestone and waiting a month for a simple inspection I drove by Kwik Kar and they were able to inspect my car on the spot in less than 10 minutes.

Went in for inspection and oil changes for our vehicles and felt taken care of! They were a little busy for a Sunday afternoon but performed our services while moving on several other customers vehicles. in and out in an hour! Technician was sincere about the delays and we understood seeing the nature of a busy Sunday. Appreciate their technicians and the clean, friendly environment!

Seems like their customer service has taken a hit during the pandemic.I took my wifes car I for its annual inspection and was greeted by a masked technician that simply said, leave keys and paper (proof of insurance) in car and wait in office.About 20 minutes later, the woman sitting behind the counter quietly announced that some car was ready, but neither of the two of us waiting could understand. Had to ask for clarity which seemed to annoy her.Anyway, it was mine, so I paid and went out to pick up my car. After waiting a few minutes, the same tech that greeted me stuck his head out from under the hood of a car he was working on and informed me that the car was down in the last bay and I was supposed to go into the work area and drive it out myself.Probably would have been okay with that, but communicating the new procedures would have been appreciated.

I went in for a State Inspection and left with a busted license plate light housing. Most annoying is that they didnt tell me they BROKE my car trying to replace the bulb and just sent me on my way saying they didnt have time to look at it, but failing to mention the DAMAGE they left.I successfully replaced the light bulb myself but now I have to order a new light housing and FIX IT MYSELF.NOTE: I performed the replacement of both left and right light bulbs myself with no issue and they both WORK fine. The light bulb housing is still damaged from Kwik Kars attempt at replacing a bulb. I DID NOT have to replace any wiring or harnesses. Thanks

Good service but a bit busy, causing extra wait time

This shop is amazing! Fast, affordable, and courteous. My husband has been going there for years but since my car was under warranty I always went back to the dealership. My warranty just ran out and I couldn’t be more pleased. Service that would’ve taken half a day at the dealership took half an hour. The price was lower than I expected. And they even had a few tables out front where I could sit and enjoy this beautiful fall weather.

Service seems to have become muddled in the last couple of years. They have lost their sense of professionalism from customer interaction to care of building. The waiting room is dark, dingy and cluttered with an excessive amount of advertisements and promotional material. I do like that you get a car wash with oil change, it’s one of the few reasons I still go back.

I came in in a non busy day to get my oil changed. I sat out in vehicle waiting on someone to come out to see what type service needed. Sat at least 5 -10 min. No one came. I had to go in myself. What happened to customer service? Just unlike this place. Cashier not very nice either. Oil change service was quick though. Spoke with GM, he was very nice and understood my concerns.

Went here to get my brake pads done on the front tires since they were squeaking. Was told had to replace brake pads and rotors and got this done. After a month, squeaking continued and a grinding noise would happen as well. Took it back up there and was told could not hear any noise and nothing seemed wrong. Took it to another place in Dallas. Both of the rotors Kwik Kar put on were warped and I had to get everything redone again at a different shop. I’ve been a customer since I was 16 with my first car. 10 year customer and I will never go back

Stopped in yesterday for an oil change and inspection, service was very fast and customer service was great! I’ve been here a few times before and always been satisfied, prices are fair and many times priced much less than competitors. One of my vehicles will soon be due for a major service and I will be taking it here.

We had a oil change done at this facility. They did the oil change with no issue. We went to a dealership to trade our car and they informed carfax said the mileage was 126000 per the last oil change and the actual car showed 71235. Called and tgey kept me on hold with no response.

Weve used Kwik Kar for years for oil changes, inspection, wiper blades, batteries, etc. and always had wonderful experiences. This week Kwik Kar went above and beyond in their customer service to help me remove the middle seat of my Honda Odyssey after I dropped it while trying to install it and it jammed. We were on our way out of town for the day with friends and needed the seat to get everyone in the car and they had us in and out with all the seats properly installed within five minutes and at no charge! They werent sure they could fix quickly but they did and Im a happy customer! Thank you Kwik Kar!!

A few months ago I had my fuel pump replaced on my F150.. I have been going to this Kwik Kar since 1997. Matt the manager and Ryan, the young guy up front have always taken care of my car needs. Great service. Though I have only used for state inspection, the fact they take your vehicle in when they say vs. Shops that say 30 minutes and an hour later still waiting is reason enough to consider them for future maintenance/ repair. Thanks

A little slower than the one I use to visit in Coppell and they were about $15 more than the Volkswagen dealership but considerably more convenient to where I live in Flower Mound so Ill more than likely be back. First time at this location. Was just an oil change. Pulled my car in right as I got there but took about 45 minutes. Everyone was friendly enough.

I’ve gone to Kwik Kar at this location for over 20 years and have been satisfied. Today I was surprised by them. While waiting for my oil change, another customer left his car for possible extensive work. He lives less than 2 minutes from Kwik Kar and asked for a ride home. Sadly, they said they were too busy to help. After my car was done, I took him home myself. It was truly less than 2 minutes to his house.We did note a busy morning, but I was very surprised they did not get him home. You could have kept your high reputation with the both of us, but for a 4 minute round trip, we left today with less than a good taste in our mouths.

We have taken 3 of our cars here over the years. The staff is great and they take care on us very well. I really like the after hours drop off and the mechanics do a great job of following up to ensure we know what they are doing before they do anything. I really appreciate the awesome job they do here!!!!

They changed my oil quickly. Also, inspected my vehicle for worn parts and safety issues for no additional cost. Fast service and I feel they are very honest. I once had a power steering fluid leak. I was expecting to pay around $300 for the repair. They fixed the problem for only $55. Now thats honesty. They could have easily charged me more but they were professional and honest. Very rare in these days and times.

I went in to get an annual inspection for registration where I had been multiple times before. This time I could not leave my key and card insurance card instead I had to stay with my car, wait for a stall to open, drive my car into stall, wait while they inspected it, pay and then back my car out of the stall and leave. This is all done under the covid-19 protections but its resulted in inconvenience to me, the customer

Travel a hour to have Albert and his team work on my cars. Albert is the best auto guy I have ever had. Knowledgeable and honest.

**I did not end up paying for services**The staff who serviced my car was friendly and more importantly honest. I went in for a check coolant light during a brief lunch break. After they gave it a good look, they topped the engine coolant off free of charge and sent me on my way.

Feel like I was taken advantage of...anyone I talk to said that there is no way I needed an Oil Flush and there was no way I was 4,000 miles over ...that would mean I drove 7,000 miles since the first of the year!!It literally takes me 12 minutes to get to work.

Rick is terrible and doesn’t know what he is talking about and acts so obviously like he is not confident in what he is saying and pretty much screws you over. After my check engine light comes on he states that an engine flush and oil change “”should”” fix the issue, which it didn’t. Now I’m replacing the camshaft for $86 with $110 in labor and only getting a 10% discount?? Which he then continues to state half confidently that it should fix the issue? I just wouldn’t recommend Rick he seems extremely not confident in what he states.

Ive been bringing my cars here for ages. Everyone is always attentive and thorough. The waiting room is first rate! Cool in the summer (importante!) and warm in the winter. Bottled water is always available as are the comfortable chairs (and TV, natch). Quality has never been an issue. They have always been fast, accurate, and reasonable. Come in and see for yourself. Youll be glad you did. ;o)

Got an oil change. Wasnt cheap, but not too expensive. Waited for a while but not long enough to be ridiculous - about 60 min. Lady behind the desk was nice enough.

Brief wait! Great service! They took care of changing the oil in my high mileage van and completed my state inspection. They handled all the paperwork, provided me the necessary documents to complete my registration and had me on my way in short order. Friendly, professional staff.

Albert and his team are simply the best. I dont trust many people to work on my BMW but Albert has proven to be an excellent mechanic and I trust his advice and suggestions. This location works on all my familys cars and you should try them out. Ask for Albert.

I always take my cars here for inspection and oil. Even though they are always busy, I never seem to have to wait very long. They even changed the transmission oil in my classic Porsche when I brought in my own special oil. Good people, good business.

Update:Yet again, Albert has gone out of his way to make things right with my difficult car. Time after time he has helped me out. Great work, friendly staff, fair prices. I wont take my vehicle anywhere else.I have been using Kwik Kar for about 5 years. They have always been friendly and helpful. They will look at problems with the vehicle and give an honest quote. I have had various issues with my Acura MDX that Kwik Kar fixed well (everything from oil change to brakes to engine mount). They have even given me a temporary car to use while fixing mine. Recently, a window motor went out that Kwik Kar had replaced 1 yr ago. The manager, Miguel, called the dealer on my behalf about the part lasting only 1 year. The dealer replaced the part and Miguel installed it for free. I have NEVER had problems with this location. They are wonderful to deal with after having trouble with another station that was closer to my house.

Once had a problem that after paying for an inspection my check tire light was still on. The guy behind the counter said they only put air in as a favor. Sadly I had to switch to Spanish to get my point across that I had paid for services and his crew failed to fill the tire. The real manager did apologize after and said he would deal with his employee.Today I waited over 50 mins and somehow all the other walk ins for oil changes got handled before me. Their queue system needs help. Manager was of no help said he had no idea how I got passed over.

It is a long drive from Allen, to Flowermound. But I will only trust the manager Albert and his staff with my car care. I have been burned by shops, trying to upsell me on unneeded parts and services, Albert and his staff do not do this practice, If they say it is needed, it is needed, I have never been more pleased with their service and professionalism.

My wife brought her car in today to have the oil changed and inspection performed. She was told that she wouldn’t be able to drop her car off. What kind of oil change place doesn’t allow drop-offs? We won’t be doing business at this location in the future.

I decided to try this place to get the oil light checked and a simple oil change. I waited patiently and after a while walked out to make a phone call only to notice my car parked outside. I had to go out of my way to find help only to be told nothing was done to my car and to drive the car around to see if the light came on. I decided to take my business elsewhere where my requests were taken care of.

I never take the time to write reviews, especially negative ones but...BEWARE of this Kwik Kar (Long Prairie) location. I have have good experiences over the years with Kwik Kar but this location has some very questionable customer service and ethics. I have spent $1,000s at this location and others for our family cars over the years but never paid much attention to the bills. This location on 2499 was NOT listed as AAA approved and my wifes car was towed here when it was due to go to another shop. My wife had a bad experience before and would not have agreed to take it back there. They charged a $95 diagnostic fee and then gave an estimate for a repair that was 3 times the standard rate.I will verify the details in another email after the car is fixed by a reputable business and post the bills to be sure that what I am saying about them is accurate.I am now having to pay to tow the car to reputable auto repair place and deal with the hassle.

I came through a couple weeks ago as my window pane came off the track in my 2000 civic and would NOT roll up. Seeing as its now peaking at 105 degrees this summer I sought help from Kwik Kar. They said they could fix it for about the price I had received from other places. I came back the next week dropping off my car at 2. I sat in the heat until FIVE OCLOCK only to have them tell me they couldnt fix my car in time before they closed.

Good place for inspections and basic maintenance. I would not go fit their vacuum transmission fluid flush as it caused a small leak.

This place is VERY dishonest. I took my car in for an STATE inspection, and they failed my vehicle saying my parking brake system does not hold my vehicle! What a big lie!!! This place was only interested in making money deceiving me!! I have nothing wrong with my car. My brothers best friend is a certified mechanic and took a look at this situation and he said my parking brake system was just fine! I had no engine light on either!! I had to wait many days before I could take my car to another place. The 2nd place I took it to passed my car without any problems and also verified my parking brake system is just fine. I had no repairs made! THIS MAKES ME SO MAD KWIK KAR LUBE are taking advantage of people to rob them!!!!! From now on I am only taking my car to have inspection where that is all they do is inspections, so know one can try to take advantage of me or my family. I could tell the person who was being dishonest with me was disappointment when I said I was NOT interested in doing any business with this place! Stay away from this place, in fact, stay away from all of these Kwik Kar Lube & Auto Repairs.

They said 45 minutes, 2.5 hours later they give me back my car without the inspection and said they ordered the wrong part and Id have to wait until tomorrow and pay more than the $300 they charged me for diagnostics and an oil change. Worse experience Ive ever had, they were deceitful and pushy and as a woman Ill never go there again!

Sent the wife to get a headlight changed, was quoted $15 then charged $50 for a half hour of labor. Do not send anyone gullible here.. they will be fleeced.
