After having gone to my previous nail salon for almost 17 years I had to change because they closed. I was looking for a place with a personal touch & not to crowded & found it here. They take walk-ins but I set an appt. Cam took me right away and did a good job on my gel Mani, pedi and eyebrows. I will definitely go back. Note they charge a fee for card payments so depending on your services it might be worth it to stop at ATM.

Michelle was so kind and professional. She’s very easy to talk to and I was pleased that the service started promptly and she made great recommendations! Thank you for the great experience and I plan to be back soon!

I usually request gel polish pedicure and dipped powder manicure when I ask for service. Unfortunately the gel polish didnt match the dipped powder for my manicure. I asked that I schedule to come in and have the dipped powder removed to match my gel manicure. After explaining that buffing down the dipped powder and replacing it with gel polish was not the same as the original price, quality, or work I asked for a refund in the difference of the 2. I am greatful that I was refunded the difference however the gel polish didnt adhere to my previously dipped powder manicure. The polish receded so terribly that you could see the very unattractive dipped powder nail underneath. Finally I returned back the 2nd week and requested the entire manicure soaked off. The owner attempted to charge me for the removal of both the poor quality of the original work and the even tasteless work over the original work. When I attempted to schedule an appointment within the next few weeks I was told Dont come back you complain to much. I am a prospective BSN and nails are a rather big deal during clinicals. I made these request due to the nature of my profession. I asked for rose pink and was provided rose pink with my pedicure and hot pink for my dipped powder manicure. Two totally different tones! I am writing this review to remind business owners to practice business ethics with customers who patronize their company. I not once began to raise my voice, coerce, threaten or make anyone feel uncomfortable. It made me uncomfortable with the poor service that was provided. Furthermore, asking me to assume responsibility for 2 mistakes in less than 2 weeks isnt fair to me the customer. I am a Healthcare Professional and prospective student who definitely understands what safety standards are in order to perform and addiquately provide EXELLENCE to my patients. Having bright color nails or chipping paint is not one of those standards of EXELLENCE. In conclusion I sought the proper service and they failed to provide it. Banning a patron from a business due to a mistake that a technician made twice should not constitute such classless decisions.

I use to love this nail shop but I guess she does not take work ins anymore all this week I been going up there and everytime I walk in she says she have appointments and the wait going to be a hour but the appointments never be there when I come. The sht been a waste of my time

It would be best if you make an appointment youll get the nail technician you want and dont have to wait an long time

I walked in for a Full set and sat for at least 30-45 minutes just for customers to be put before me and they came in after me and when i comforted the lady sitting at the front booth wondering why people who came in after me were getting serviced before me she responded with saying that there were 4 or 5 people ahead of me (basically dismissing the question i asked her) when there was only me and two other lady’s waiting to be seen so i don’t know where she got 4 or 5 people from. After waiting another 15 minutes within that time 2 other people walked in and were sat and NONE OF THESE PEOPLE HAD APPOINTMENTS. Terrible customer service and do not recommend!!!

I have been going here for many, many years. They are friendly and professional. If there is an issue, they work to correct it. The nail section has COVID safety precautions. This is the only place I will get a pedicure.

I went to Michelle’s Pro Nails and NiNi was excellent she did an awesome job on my pedicure and manicure and eyebrows. She’s an exceptional nail tech and I will always ask for her to do my nails.

Nice nail shop. They will try their best to give you what you ask for. Appointments are recommended as it can be crowded in the mornings. I like that it doesnt get too loud in there with customers which is nice. They have a separate area for pedicures which is a plus, less noise.

Ni N does a beautiful job on my nails. Never had a problem. Been going there every since last year. I use to to Nail Me Good on Lindbergh. They have so many customers in that shop. They rush doing your nails, just to make money. I stopped going to them. Michelle Pro Nails is the place to go.☺

I love this place especially Tom!But I just had my nails done by Julie and if it weren’t for a couple great technicians in there I would never come back. I have never had such a painful job done! On one of my nails she completely missed a patch that has no acrylic I didn’t even bother telling her at that point, it hurt so bad and I just wanted it to get over with. A couple of my friends have had the same or worse experiences with her. Her attitude as well was very rude and she seemed put out. I will never go to her again! Tom and others are the way to go !

I came in for a Fullset and Pedicure. The Technician started on my nails, then stopped because she had another customer who came in for an appointment, and the customer was late by the way. I was brushed to the side for this late person. I politely excused myself and took my business else where.👎

This is a wonderful nail salon. Ive gone here for more than 7 years. I have always made appointments with Nene. She is very knowledgeable, exudes great energy and has years of experience. Kim is also a wonderful technician.

Relaxing experience. Everyone takes their team and makes sure you are comfortable and satisfied. More colors than you can imagine in gel and powder.

The place smelled like smoke (mistake #1) and their prices are not visible and they attempt to force services on you that you did not request... My gel manicure looks like a allowed a little kid to polish my nails

My nails look really nice and the service and wait were very timely. However, the nail tech did cut the tip of my finger with the scissors she was cutting the acrylic nails with, and then I did not see her disenfect the scissors at all. I also have sores on a few of my fingers around the cuticles from the nail filer. I have gotten manicures and full sets done at other locations plenty of times and have never had an experience like that. While the owner was very apologetic, no discount was offered, which I felt would have been appropriate given the circumstances. I do not plan on returning to this business.

Ive been looking for a good shop in Florissant and this place was awful. I convinced my best friend to go with me and with both HATE our nails. I have air bubbles like crazy, dents, and he had to put on four coats of gel polish just to make it look decent. My bf asked for coffin nails and got something completely different. Some of the techs cant speak English -__- so the owner had to explain to them our critiques and they still couldnt get it right. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Piss poor job. And unwilling to receive instruction. I don’t wear makeup so takin care of my face is important to me. I want a great to be done on my eyebrows and i did not receive that. Instead I received attitude and what seemed to be an intentional halfjob

At this moment I had been going to Michelles for over 10 years....WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ....this particular day I wanted a fill in and pedicure. While getting the pedicure the nail tech cut me TWICE and tried to cover it up like I wouldnt see it or feel it. Come to find out it was her 1st day. If your techs arent trained correctly why have them on the floor? So while getting my fill in... I told John the manager I would not be compensating them for the pedicure due to being cut TWICE. He told me to GET OUT AND NEVER COME BACK ! So I went down to Nail Plus in Cross Keys Plaza where the owner Michelle works (Nails Plus is her other shop), to inform her of what I experienced! After speaking with her I didnt feel like she cared. DONT GO TO EITHER PLACE. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! RUN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I just had surgery on my ankle, but Kim handled me with care doing my pedicure.

I went into Michelles on Sunday after being rudely rejected by another nail salon and as soon as I walked through the door I was welcomed and treated so nicely that I had to do a double take. I went in for a mani-pedi and during my whole nail spa service I was so relaxed and chill. Michelle and her staff were nice and accommodating. My nail tech Cey (sp) was awesome! I loved my nails and they have won themselves a new client. See you in two weeks!! Thank you!!

I have had the pleasure of being a patron of this establishment, I came in for a simple fill in and pedicure. The pedicure was amazing, was transferred over to another tech; the managerto be exact for a fill in. No nails missing, simple fill in with the request of shaping them more. The shaping was absolutely horrid and was told that he couldn’t fix it and that was just it, that it would look better after painting, that failed. Not quite satisfied I carried on, while getting the gel coat applied, I noticed dust particles under the polish, he acted as though he couldn’t see it, held it up to the light and explained further. After he finally saw this he decided he’d file them, amongst examine my nails further I realized my gel on the right hand started to crumble or shrink if you will. I asked him had he noticed it, at that point he told me it was because I kept my hand under the UV light for too long evidently with no direction on when to remove my hand. He then throws his hands up, storms off, holding his head and make a frustrated remark. I am completed astounded by the reaction of the manager of this establishment as I am a patron and simply just wanting it done correctly. I am unaware if it was a bad day seeing as though it is Monday morning/afternoon it may have been a hectic morning but never should a patron feel as though they are a bother when nothing is at the fault of the consumer.

Prices are always changing..too high!! No one could seem to explain why!😒😒 They do a decent job. And don’t go in as a walk In.. you will be waiting for A VERY LONG TIME... ridiculous!

Nee or Nina or whatever her name is is too loud, crude and tries to joke but it comes off very nonprofessional. nobody should be cussing at me, whether youre joking or not. went for eye brow wax, literally SCREAMED as this woman waxed my eye brows and told me my skin was sensitive cause im young.. what.. -_- ive been getting my eye brows wax for yearsss honey, she either used too hot of wax or too much or something but i woke up the next day with bruises and abrasions on my eye around my brow area. NO THANKS that was my first and LAST time there, ill go down the street to ATN Nails.

I have the absolute best experiences at Michelles! I started coming here around 11 years ago. I have watched them expand and grow! They have such a successful establishment and the customer service is top notch all around! Tom, the owner is an absolute doll! And Kim is amazing! I always walk in and even if its been awhile, they still remember me (may not sound like a big deal, but its an awesome feeling when you walk in and they know you by name and everything from the past, even old boyfriends from 11 years ago LOL) I ALWAYS send clients their way! Number one, not just in STL, but in the world!!!

Ive been to this shop before a few years back. The last time I went was on a Saturday and the wait was rediculous!!! Everybody that walked in had appointments which means the walk ins get pushed to the back. I waited for about 1 hour and a half. Fast forward to today, I get there around 10 ish. I was greeted which was a first, all I needed was a fill and cut down. Kim was amazing during the processed and made me feel comfortable. I picked two colors, one was blue and the other was a glitter blue that I wanted on two fingers. The guy brought the wrong colors out. When she opened the polish I said this isnt what I want. So I go pick the colors again on the gel polish holder. She says these are mood changing colors and will change when its cold or hot. I said ok, mind you Ive never had mood changing so I didnt know what to expect. Well the color I got was green and a silver glitter type polish. The opposite of what I asked. I said fine they kind of grew on me. So I ask Kim if Im able to book another appointment with her so I wont have to wait 🙄 she says her schedule is busy and messed up so she cant book me but she literally made a appointment right in front of me. Every other nail tech was scheduling future appointments with their clients. And at the end of the service I felt rushed. Once she did the coats and I put my nails under the light she made me put my hands in front of a fan so she could take a call. And said with this color you have to let it dry extra time. Ive been getting gel nails and Ive never done that. These nail shops are rediculous. This is my last time going to these type of nail shops. Ill find a black owned shop and hopefully I get better services and get what I ask for.

I been coming here for years since I was 16 in high school ....the past few times I have came with appointment and now today as a walkin. I have set here 1 hr and 25 mins and still no service . But all the chairs for empty for a pedicure empty .

I have be going to this place for years and they have gotten really horrible with there service. Since I have started going back I have been to the nail shop once a week because of a cracked nail or a chipped nail the day after I have gotten them done. Like now it has not even been a week yet and four of my nails have either cracked or chipped. I am a Medical Assistant so I dont use my hands much but when I go to grab laundry and place it in the wash without even hitting my nails on anything and it cracks its a problem. I will be going somewhere new its like the my nails horrible so I can keep returning.

Bring a tent and a book while you wait for your service!! Especially around the 1st when ppl get their checks & 1st thing they do is get their nails done.Waited over 2 hours.I understand theyre busy. I also understand ppl make appts so they get priority. However 1. I tried making an appt 2 days earlier for around 4. They said no more appts but... #2 - I could walk in. Thats fair. Get there and literally everyone was passing us by. 1/2 the time I think when someone writes down they have an appt w/whoever, its bs. Girl comes in and then her gma. Lady asks gma if she had an appt too. Gma dont know what the h*ll to say. Ole girl was like..yeah gma has appt too. If my niece wasnt with me i would have said something. We all want to look cute. I get it, but aside from sh*tty service they let their regulars run off biz. I would have tipped better than most but all they got instead was this review.Tip... dont have such terrible service.

Ive been to plenty of nail salons to were you can get the gel polish on ur toes AND NOT USE THE UV LAMP now all of a sudden they do not do that...and to add insult to injury I got here at 10am, yes on a BUSY SATURDAY, no worries Ill wait bc Im a walk in and they can only do one at a time, but almost two hours no communication to say HEY ITLL BE A LITTLE WHILE LONGER BC A FEW MORE APPOINTMENTS ARRIVED 👈🏾I mean non of that until I asked nicely HELLO DO U THINK ITLL APPROXIMATELY BE ANOTHER HOUR OR SO...the man tech yells I DONT KNOW UM WHAT TIME DID YOU GET HERE I WOULDNT POSSIBLY KNOW (then laughs)...I could go on and on but Im completely outdone. Ive been coming here for sometime now and this is THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and one star is pushing it!

I showed a picture of what I wanted and she said okay she could do it no problem. Then I pay halfway through and tip (worst mistake) then she starts doing something completely different and I said no thats not what I want bc you can see the under nail. Then she reasons she started doing it that way to hide it therefore YOU CANNOT DO WHAT I WANTED. She gets upset bc I hate it. Not only did she charge me $31 and I tipped her $5 for something I hated walking out with I just had them removed and redone for $28 here in Brentwood and I love them. Michelle pro nails only care about quantity or if you tip them a ridiculous amount. Definitely never coming back.
