I have lived at Wentworth for a couple years now and I’d like to say that it’s a great place. The location is very convenient and close to everything! Although it’s not the newest property they have started updating and making improvements plus it’s a very affordable place to live. The management team in my opinion is wonderful!! Every time I stop into the office I am greeted with a smile. I haven’t had much trouble with my apartment but the few times I’ve needed something fixed the maintenance team has gotten it done quick and seamlessly!

Need an apartment? Awesome! Get sold off the bat as everywhere was filled due to summer business (worked in leasing, so we all know how this goes) and they said they have an opening and get told you can move in within a month after giving your deposit to them? Even better! Have a place to live since I got a promotion for a position requiring presence ASAP and had to relocate 3.5 hours away from my home. But its the middle of the month and absolutely NO ONE has returned my calls of knowing the exact date so I can get the movers situated and stop living in a hotel. Nor any replies to my e-mails. Nothing. I walked in only to find that they knew exactly who I was only to be told I cannot move in until THE END OF OCTOBER after being told this month. Now, I do not have a place to live and still have to wait since so many places do not have openings until next month.Unacceptable.Potential residents, take your money elsewhere. This place is greedy, unprofessional, and clearly needs to get their stuff together.

Here is a concise edit for my review: Management doesnt care at all. They will speak like theyre going to do something and never fix an issue. They dont care about you, as long as youre paying rent, and they make you feel like you have to be mean and angry and unreasonable to be listened to, and they still wont listen. The reply from the owner is A PR move with no meaning behind it. They still wouldnt help me.I do not feel safe in my run down home after my drunk neighbors broke bourbon bottles on my porch and broke my personal belongings when I asked them politely at 4am on a Sunday to quiet down, and despite them getting the cops called on themselves last week, Jenn has allowed them to continue to be destructive and disruptive and will not take any action to ensure the safety of their tenants. That, along with the fact that Im paying abt $800 a month to live in a home that needs constant repairs, has unuseable soil and is not accessible for us disabled folks, has really tainted my opinion about this complex. It is not worth your time.I look forward to moving, despite wanting to live here until I bought a house. Plans change as quickly as rent prices do, I guess.

So I want to write a fair review. When I first moved here it was great. It’s not that the places are top-notch, because they are not, but the studio that I rented was fine. I didn’t have any major issues except a neighbor who stalked me and harassed/threatened me for two years. (Side note: The office doesn’t really help you with those situations - police were involved quite a bit). When I did have an issue, it was generally addressed very quickly. I do really appreciate Jenn in the front office and I think she is super sweet and easy to talk to. However, since I have moved into my one bedroom unit this past September, I’ve had nothing but issues. I don’t blame any one particular person, but I have had a lot of trouble getting things taken care of. They are really diligent with pest control, thank God, because this place has had roaches, slugs, and mice. The person who lived here before was definitely a smoker. They found several places of mold. The mold was a hassle because they didn’t agree with me that it was mold, but would send nobody out to check it out until I warned them I would be calling the city. Then an inspector came out, discovered, and treated.I was told the carpet is only two years old, but it can probably stand to be replaced because of the last tenant being a smoker. I have a very sensitive nose and I smell everything. I’m never comfortable here because I never feel like I have a clean home. I’m constantly cleaning and scrubbing to try to get rid of smells. I just bleached the whole entire place last night and luckily that’s all I can smell right now, but give it a few days.Last week my water heater pipe busted. So now I have more mold.Since October I have told the office about my outlets being loose and sparking. I have written documentation dating back to January about the issue as well, and it has yet to be addressed. I got an email from the office today stating that their tech came and did a troubleshoot on my outlets, but I work from home. I’m home 24/7, and at the very least during business hours. I can reassure you no one has come to check out the outlets. It’s not about the problems here in this apartment, but rather the time it takes to get them addressed if at all. There are so many code violations here. They will definitely try to avoid it if they can unless it’s a minor issue. Like I said, they are great with pest control. But everything else is fighting tooth and nail. They start to ignore you when you tell them multiple issues. The guy at the front desk is terrible customer service, by the way. Would not recommend. I don’t even know his name. April 12, 2021. Look him up.

I have lived in this community for 5 years now.. absolutely love it! Never had any problems accept once and the manager Jenn took care of it immediately. Jenn is always very prompt on every concern and takes great care in knowing the residents. I recommend to anyone looking for a great place to live to move to Wentworth Estates. Talk to Jenn she will take very good care of you.

They have so many options to choose from, Im sure they will have something that meets your needs. Youre not going to find a better place to call home.

This community is the best! We love being so close to everything. The ladies in the office are professional and always makes us feel welcome and at home every time we are in there. We have only had one minor issue in our home and maintenance took care of it right away. We highly recommended Wentworth!!

My family and I moved into this complex in August and from the staff to the property all has exceeded our expectations!!! The ladies in the office are very friendly, professional, and understanding. Maintenance here is amazing they respond accordingly and the employees are very nice and easy to talk to. The complex offers different amenities and different styles at different price ranges for any budget. This is truly an amazing property to live at!!!

Really not a good place to live at all. the only reason for a few of their good reviews is because during 2020 they did a bingo competition & people who left positive reviews on facebook & google got an advantage. they offered things like covid-19 cleaning supplies & toilet paper as prizes for a game during a global pandemic. they are really friendly until you have an issue, then everything is your fault or you just get flat out ignored. prepare to have to send 3+ emails within a single week before getting a sentence or 2 back.

Not pleased. Laundry facilities serve mostly for teen smoking area to vandalize. There is a pool but has and never will open. Walls are paper thin. If a tenant is a smoker the smoke will wafe into your apartment. Get ants in my apartment a lot. Slow maintenance. Car was broken into and office didnt do anything not even a report. I cant wait to move as I dont feel safe or comfortable here.

This place has really gone down hill, it saddens me greatly, the 2 new women in the office are Rude, unhelpful and in my opinion not trustworthy . Most problems taken to them, will get backlogged and never taken care of, every time I’m in the office I’m made to feel like I’m not welcome, or a burden for simply bringing things to there attention that need addressed. These are C- apartments with an F in management and and F in service

I just bought a place from here and the quality of service is great. They really took care of me and made sure I was accommodated and comfortable with making a fast decision. The garden homes are beautiful and vintage but not outdated. And for the price it is highly recommended if you want privacy.

For the people who are having troubles with apartments, there is a simple solution to this in three steps:1) Really review the apartments you look into; check faucets, check the walls, check the thermostats; all of the utilities in the apartment should be inspected as any home-owner would before buying a house. Ask really important questions such as their policies on fees, late-fee charges, pets, how respondent their maintenance team is (be sure to get their direct line, and call the number in front of them to verify), what days typically maintenance is readily available. Be sure to document everything youve learned.2) Create an Escrow account; this is important because legally, the apartment company cant press you for rent until they fulfilled their obligations of repairing the apartment, ensuring its livable and has been fixed up to standards.*If maintenance tries to be underhanded in their work, you can hire professionals to come in and examine the work, getting copied documentation which can then be brought to your escrow associates who can then take legal actions to take the money back you gave to rent until management makes an earnest effort in repairs.3) Read your lease carefully, and get copies of everything that sounds questionable from the management; there is a chance youll run into shady individuals wholl not give copies of information so have a recording device ready. My roommate and I currently live in Milford Ohio, and were exploring apartment options. Feedback from the community within a 1-2 year period really says a lot about what you should expect from the apartments company. You dont have to feel desperate by selecting apartments that are clearly below standards, there are actually decent apartments out there, but the compromise if youll have to pay a little bit more or go outside of your current area. Ill still consider this apartment an option, but I hope they do in fact take the communitys feedback seriously as eventually people do wise up and develop safeguards against scams and unscrupulous management.

These apartments are really rundown and in need of a remodel. When we moved in it was very dirty. The shelves in the cabinets and the linen closet were stained. The bottom shelves in the kitchen cabinets were rotted out and they just covered it up with sheets of plywood. Then when you move out they come up with all kinds of charges to keep your deposit.

I have been living here for a year in October, and we have happily moved out at the end of this lease. I am very torn on these apartments for a couple reasons. When I first was shown the property i was very excited - the garden homes were beautiful and have great features (my one bedroom has an attic and washer/dryer hookup in a separate room off of the kitchen, for example.) Keep in mind though all appliances I had were extremely outdated, broke often, and honestly I think our oven was a safety issue. I love the amount of space and its a nice, secluded area in the middle of Florence, it seemed too good to be true.HOWEVER, do not move into a unit on Jacquelines Court or nearby this street! It is less than 100 feet from the Florence Freedom Stadium, the WORST neighbors you could imagine. I was so looking forward to sitting on my patio in the summer and enjoying the weather, but every. single. weekend. of the summer has been spent listening to the stadium blast loud radio music and awful live performances that shake my house until 11 at night. Some nights i cant sleep, and even some days it wakes me up the very next morning with MORE music and nonsense!! Horrible experience and I strongly regret picking the unit we did, and I wish we would have been warned about the noise. If it werent for that stadium we might be renewing our lease.Another thing that is a huge disappointment was the maintenance crew. I definitely met some very nice workers, but for the most part, this one particular worker that came to my house to fix things was completely unknowledgeable. They NEVER give you an appointment for maintenance which is very frustrating. So many days I sat around, having errands to run but i cant because my whole day is spent sitting around waiting and wondering if anyone is coming to look at the issue (and most of the time they never show, my day is wasted, and we reschedule, repeating this over and over.)I just honestly feel not respected as a person living here, because like I said I have to sit around all day, not knowing when/if anyone is going to show up and putting my whole day on hold for people who can easily forget an established appointment. One last thing is how rude and terrible the grounds crew is. Be ready for AT LEAST once a week a stranger standing on your own patio directly outside your bedroom window at 8 am blowing a leaf blower for 30 minutes for no apparent reason. They leaf blow EVERYTHING no matter what. I have watched these men leaf blow the grass! The day i moved out, they were out there blowing dirt and leaves all over the place as usual. I had my car doors open, boxes with all my belongings sitting around the car waiting to be loaded up, and in the time it took me to go back in and grab another box I walk outside to a man blowing dirt and leaves around my open car doors and every belonging I own in boxes, and they seriously blew dirt and leaves inside of every one of my boxes and my car, I’m not kidding when I say this man was touching my things and the leaf blower was inches from my stuff. Truly was a great farewell gift. I was completely BAFFLED at how rude their grounds crew is here. The ONE great thing about these places is the property manager herself, Jackie. She has been nothing but nice and welcoming our entire stay here, and has been extremely helpful. For example, we had a run-in with a rude neighbor who let her dog run around off leash and attack our dog, and when we confronted this neighbor she got nasty and threatening to us. Naturally we took the issue to Jackie and she was SO kind and helpful and completely reassured us everything would be okay. I felt so much better after my boyfriend had gone down to talk to her about it.All in all, these places are bearable. They are very nice for the money you pay and as long as you never have to place a maintenance request, live next to the UC Health Stadium, and don’t care about your privacy or ever getting to sleep in at your own house, you’ll find these places tolerable.
