BEN IS AMAZING!! I am socially awkward and often times prefer to not talk. My self care is a time for me to relax and have peace. Ben was so gentle and really understood my need for just being without saying a word. Thanks Ben for normalizing silence. Some people just need a space to be themselves. I appreciate it.

Dee Dee was super kind & listened to my (very specific & picky) requests. I recently had a bad experience at another salon and was looking for something super natural & good for my nails so I can start growing them out again. she recommended this dip powder in a natural color. I’m completely obsessed. it was a little pricey ($60) but worth it for my healthy looking nails back!

Love love love!! Every one here is so professional and the quality speaks for its self! Both sets lasted me 2-3+ weeks with no breakage and lifting. The staff is extremely selfless and kind, truly putting their customer first each time

Very unprofessional. Tech was on here phone. Didn’t get my dead skin off my feet. Paid for a mani with gel and only got the gel done and was charged $95.00. Will never go back and never recommend this place to anyone. Worst place I ever been to. Do not go to this place it is a rip off!!!! No owner to talk to even if they tell you to call back. I got my eyebrows done today as a walk in, eyebrows came out great, but while getting my eyebrows done a decent size glass picture frame fell on my head and now I have a huge bump and a migraine . The manager did see . I still had to pay for my eyebrows after a not so good experience

They rushed through my shellac and it peeled off 3 days later, not very happy about it. Also, they did not give me a manicure with my shellac. I will not go back again, waste of money!

This place is literal gold. I am definitely one of those girls who scrolls pinterest, sees the MOST ADORABLE nails of my whole life, takes said pictures to salon- and I end up disappointed, thinking they all must be photoshopped, there is no way anyone is that goodWRONG- I have gone to both Lily and Pam time and time again- and they are nail goddesses. The more I go- the more they impress me. I get SO many compliments on my nails, and I never want to stop looking at my hands! lol.Plus, not only do I love my nails- I love the atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming, and there have been times that they have stayed late to make sure I can get both a mani and pedi with my work schedule. They always go above and beyond. Never going anywhere else

First time coming to this establishment, very friendly staff, however was charged $10 for shellac take off that was extremely outgrown to begin with. In total spent $40 for a typical manicure with no polish and left with my nails bleeding heavily. In all my experiences getting my nails done, this was a first. Went back immediately to communicate the problem but was met with blank faces and an awkward silence. Would not recommend!!

I was disappointed with the service my nails looked horrible. The lady who did my nails couldnt say focus on me. Was too worried about the next client. Not good with shaping nails. As well as she put multiple coats of shellac which made it look horrible.

Ive been here twice. First time was a walk in and the second time I made an appointment. Both times I was waited on right away. The salon is clean and very professional. They are a bit pricey to me and thats why I gave it a 4 and not a 5. A natural manicure and pedicure was $60. Overall my experience was good and I would go back.

New owners and new set up. I really enjoyed the mani/pedi and the staff is really nice. I recommend the full fancy pedicure with scrubs, lotion, hot stones, etc.. so relaxing and the massage chairs work wonderfully!

I been going here for about a year and the quality is so much better than anywhere else I’ve tried in the area. I am a regular customer of Pam’s but Lily is fantastic too. Their technical skills are unmatched and they are always open to try any nail art inspiration I find online!

Price 75.00 for manicure w/Shellac 40.00 and a general pedicure 35.00. Did not remove dead skin from bottom of feet. Had to have it redone by an experience technician . Price is high for the quality of service I received. Made me feel like the pedicure was only $35.00. You may not be able to get all the dean skin off. Maybe my money means more to me then to them. Johnson footstep takes it off. I have never had salon not able to get the dead skin off. An the others cost less!!!

I had a great experience the workers were very nice friendly. Lily did my nails and they came out really good and its been a long time since I found someone who did a really good job on my nails so I am very happy with the work. I read some of the reviews that said the wait was long, I went on a Monday night and got help right away. They were equally helpful to everyone else that walked in. It was a little expensive but the work was really good so I think it was worth what I paid.

My go to spot! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. The atmosphere is welcoming, this is one of the cleanest shops I’ve been to, and the staff are always friendly. I love it! Many different colors to choose from. The best thing I love about this place is IT DOESN’T SMELL LIKE A NAIL SHOP! The ventilation and how they dispose of their waste is great for people who have a sensitive smell. Plus, it’s not good to breathe in all those chemicals anyway so I applaud them for properly being aware of that for the well being of their clients. I’ve been coming here for about a year now.

The service here is excellent! Everyone takes their time and gets the job done right. I always get the dip and it lasts at least 3 weeks which makes it the next value around by far. The tools are one-time use and everything is hygienic which is very important. Currently rocking some perfect glow in the dark nails. Couldn’t recommend more!

I used to come here all the time but they do a quick job that doesn’t last. Not worth it when there are other nail places around that will take the time to do it right. (For the record, there is one guy there who was really great but if you didn’t get him you would be screwed).

Ive been here for at least a dozen times over the last 1.5 years, so I think Ive got enough experience to write a valid review. Here goes -The workers arent rude, and in fact, the owner really is nice and super polite to his customers. However, never go here if you think this is an in and out sort of nail experience. On average, my wait time before I get serviced is 35 minutes. Make an appointment? No, this location will say the appointment is booked, but when you come in any customers that walked in ahead of you are still ahead of you, regardless of the appointment. Appointments arent a thing. Today I waited 55 minutes before I got serviced. I spent this entire time with my feet soaking in lukewarm water. There were others that came in after me, and they werent so quiet about their wait time. Only 2 guys were working and there were 6 customers plus 4 more that had just walked in.The owner does a great job, but rushes when there is a lot of people waiting. The problem is that there arent enough employees to cover the amount of people walking in.I dont think its worth the $ they charge.After todays experience, I doubt Ill be going back.

Clean, quick, professional, and reasonably priced. New management just took over 4 days ago and the place looks brighter. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Tools are all sanitized and they use liners in tubs to keep them clean as well.

I went to D&B nails on Black Friday after a long day of shopping and my nail technician Lee got me together. He has my nails looking like their on one of the pictures you see in the nail salon. Very professional and friendly staff and the customer service was phenomenal. Ill definitely be back and I highly recommend this salon for your Mani/Pedi needs.

I entered the salon and 2 people were waiting. I asked how long of a wait and was told 20 minutes so I decided to wait. After 30 minutes a tech was available. He proceeded to washave out the foot bath and he pointed to a chair. After that he disappeared behind a door for lunch leaving me at his table. I asked how long he would be the elder /senior tech answered He is at lunch. 45 MINUTES WITH NO SERVICE OR CONCERN. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF YOU WANT A FULL SET OR ANOTHER PRICEY SERVICE THEY WILL DELAY YOU AND TAKE OTHERS FIRST.POOR COMMUNICATION, POOR SERVICE.

Im surprised this place doesnt have more positive reviews. I did a walk in today, and my nails turned out beautifully. The price was very reasonable especially for the quality. I will definitely be coming back.

Horrible experience!I was happy with my nails when Tim was there. Now it under new management. And the new owner, Jean, has messed my nails up twice. The first time, my nails were very lumpy and uneven. The second time, she made the acrylic so thin, they cracked and chipped within the first couple of days. When I went back to notify her of this, she was more concerned with the prices than giving me good service. I dont have a problem paying for my nails. But dont mess my nails up on purpose in an attempt to charge me more when I return.

Very rude. But nice environment. Doesn’t have white polish, or so I was told. The owner was extremely rude. He informed me not to shake the bottle because it would break (which is understandable, so I didn’t ) but then proceeded to say I couldn’t test it on my nails because “ I’d make the polish dirty) given I had no polish on, just simply wanted to see how the polish would look on my skin tone with the winter season and my lack of sun lol, but seriously. Super rude. I wouldn’t refer this place to anyone!!! (They should have signs up stating, no shaking or testing, but I feel like it was RACISM)

My first professional pedicure (tomboy)... My feet were gross (runner)... The guy who helped me was nice, quick, talented, and non judging... I was nervous cause it was my first time... After such great service it wont be my last

My first visit to the salon was on a Saturday; needless to say the place was packed, not an empty seat in the waiting area. After a 20 minute (or so) wait it was my turn, a pedicure and fill ins. My pedicure was thorough and well done ... and despite the growing line at the door the nail tech never rushed nor made me feel rushed. My fill ins too were expertly done. The prices are a bit lower than most salons in the area (pedicure $22 plus $5 for the French polish, acrylic fill ins $13) and they prefer you pay in cash to keep them low (dont worry, they accept credit cards).This is definitely my new nail salon.

Just wanted to give a shout out to D&B Nail Salon on E. 9 Mile in the CVS plaza—they are under new management, the new staff is VERY friendly and they do quality work. I have my cosmetology license so I typically do all my own nail stuff but I will be coming here from now on because of the incredible service I received this afternoon.

Last time I went in there I was getting a full set with a pedicure. The guy who was doing my nails was making me very uncomfortable. He kept asking me personal questions. Like my age, if a had a boyfriend, if I actually had money to pay him, if my credit card was mine, and why I was getting my nails done. When he was doing the pedicure he kept asking if that felt good multiple times. While the man and woman were sitting there they were playing youtube videos, and watching a soccer game. They were yelling at the game and I thought that was really unprofessional. I wont be returning to this place. The husband and wife who used to own this salon were much better at professionalism and did a wonderful job. Now the new owners dont know a thing about being professional. And the quality of their work is horrible.

I had given up on having nice nails unless I was going to get acrylics. I tried 3 different places first w/Shellac then the dipping powder and every time it peeled off w/in the first couple days. I assumed it was MY NAILS.. so I heard about how clean DB was and what GREAT pedis they give, so I decided to go. Pam gave me a great pedi and insisted on me getting a mani using the dipping powder. I argued that my nails just won’t hold anything because of the previous 3 failed attempts. She guaranteed NOT THIS TIME. I am SO HAPPY I listened to her! For the first time in my life my REAL nails are long and beautiful!! Pam is PHENOMENAL, personable and professional! I’m on my 3rd set and very happy!! DB is very clean, relaxing and they use new stuff every time. I’ve already sent 3 ppl whom are very pleased!

Of course it changes hands as much as most of the nail salons around town. They have modeled like all do when hands are changed. The staff was really nice and spoke/understood English really well. Its not a racist remark, they are Vietnamese.Update: things are wayyyyy different now .Go in on a Saturday at noon and you only have 2 people working!! Told only 40 min wait, umm there are 5 people sitting waiting and two up, yeah 40 min is not true, more like couple hours at best. Why on earth would you only have 2 people working on a Saturday. Crazy!

Fabulous nail salon this place is spotless!! Ben does an amazing job on my hands/feet it’s always very clean the people are warm and it’s never overwhelming.

I went on a Sunday, man named Andi did my nails. He was very precise. I went in for Acrilic removal and shellac with a manicure. Cost $35. He was very gental. Ive been to places the will force nail clippers under the nails and hurt like crazy. He didnt do this at all. There were language barriers, but we were able to make small jokes. He didnt ask any personal questions and was able to do my nails short like I asked. Ive been to places that give me a hard time about having them short. Plus he covered the entire nail up to the cuticle. Which most places will leave a space on each side of the nail bed. I didnt even have to tell him to do it. Overall Im pleased.

I had a great pedicure today from Lee. He was friendly and talented, my toes look beautiful and my feet are soft and smooth.

My little girl just came home crying being dropped off by the police after her visit to D&B nails in Ferndale, mi - They are an all Male staff at this location and they were very rough with her throughout the entire process. ultimately they hurt her and she got up to leave because Bon Ho was so rough and rude with her. then he ran at her, yelled and screamed in her face and pushed her. My little girl is 95lbs, 48 and this guy screamed, yelled and physically assaulted her. A passerby called the cops after witnessing the exchange, unfortunately the Ferndale police did not arrest this man that assaulted my girl so I will soon learn their names and be reporting them and blasting them publicly as Well. BE WARNED, Bon Ho and the other Male staffers at D&B nails will scream, yell, push you and if they dont take it that far they will do a crappy job with your nails and your hands will be bruised afterword. D&B nails is lucky I dont feel like visiting jail today, otherwise id handle this matter in the streets and maybe I should since the Ferndale Police didnt protect my girl from these monsters. Shame on you D&B Nails and thanks for Not protecting and serving today Ferndale Police department. Shame on all of you.Response - This is not a made up story, and the customer called the cops because your owner screamed at my little girl and pushed her, physically assaulted her. shes 48 and you guys bullied her and demanded she pay for crappy service, and her nails were not almost done, no where close to be almost done. If i go to a restaurant and they serve me horrible food, yell at me and assault me Im not Required to pay for that type of service or food so my little girl wasnt required to pay for the owners horrible smelling breath, rude service and abusive nature in which he does nails and treats customers. and no one fake called as the police, I told you I wanted the name of the guy that assaulted my little girl, because were going to the police station now and having him arrested. Hopefully he doesnt run and hide like the chicken, little girl abuser that he is. Shame on you for defending your actions today. I hope something bad happens to you in jail for touching my little girl. SHAME ON YOU, SIR!

After seeing mixed reviews I decided to give this place a try since what I wanted done was super simple and I just wanted to walk-in (what could go wrong?)Staff was short with everyone who came through the door. A woman with an appointment came in and had to wait just like the walk-ins, so why make an appointment?My pedicure was rushed and my feet have obvious spots on them where he started with the pumice stone but didnt finish. There was a baindaid on the floor by the hand station I was sat at. I got a full set which is mediocre, even after correcting him on several severely crooked nails.Needless to say, I wont be going back...BUT if youre on a budget I paid $78 for a full acrylic set and a shellack mani/pedi

2 stars for quality, customer service, and atmosphere. I would not reccomend.

Lily does a great job!

Tools were not sterilized, I watched as multiple Pedicurists rinsed tools off in the tub their clients had their feet in and then place the tools/scraper/sponge back into their tool totes. Additionally, incomplete pedicure - a lot of sanding very little trimming, cleaning and cutting.

They are unprofessional and rude. Horrible experience.
