David does fantastic work. Just had my beard trimmed and shaped up and VERY pleased with his grooming capabilities!

David did a great job. Hes tucked away in a northwest corner of the city and runs his own shop. A traditional barber if you will.If youre tired of the chain barbershops with their mediocre hair cuts and asking for so much personal information at sign in just so they can spam your in in box and text message you to death, give David a try.

Made an appointment for 11 am today. Waited for 30 minutes and no one is here... door is locked and the phone just goes to voicemail. Pretty unprofessional in my opinion. Why schedule in you are not gonna work or show up. Also the fact their automated text does not ask you to confirm makes things confusing.

After years of going to Sport Clips, I have to say I will never go back to one. The staff here at Gents Fine Grooming are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I could not believe how many people stopped by just to say hello to David or to their “shop dog”. It’s just like the barbershops out of the movies! It was an added bonus that everyone commented on my haircut the following day.

She did a terrific job! I’m picky and working on growing out my hair. We transitioned from a disconnected undercut to what is going to be a slick backed long hair look. Great job!

If you show up right when they open be prepared to have to make an appointment for a week out... As someone with a shifting schedule that changes daily (7am to 5pm daily with the specific days changing regularly) this is extremely unaccommodating.Just this week I went from having Tuesday off, to working Tuesday and having Thursday off, to wake up Wednesday and find the schedule changed again to have Wednesday off...Many do not have the luxury of having a specific day off per week and so cannot make an appointment. Not having an option for walk-ins is unacceptable in the fast paced, work heavy, economy of today.

My first time here and my experience was awesome he was very helpful very thoughtful giving me ideas n advice on how to take care of my natural nails. I strongly recommended i will definitely go back there. I appreciated honest because most people they just want your money.

As most of the reviews below have already said, you will not be disappointed by a visit to Gents. I had a tough time finding a good reliable place to get my hair cut, that wasnt $60+ for a mens cut (which I find is a ridiculous price for what most mens cuts are). After I found this place, it is now my go-to. The price is very fair for the service and quality of the cut, and how courteous the owner and staff are. The only problem I have found is that they are becoming more and more popular, and at times it can be tough to get an appointment (especially near holidays and such). But you cant knock em because theyre so great everyone wants an appointment!!

Outstanding! I chose Gents after reading the reviews on Google and Yelp. I have worn a Military haircut most of my life and have recently been trying a longer style. The problem is that I am very particular about my hair, and have had a very difficult time finding a barber that satisfied. Until now that is! This place is great! Nathan, asked me what look I was trying to achieve, made some suggestions, and when all was said and done, delivered an outstanding haircut! The hot towel, straight razor neck shave, and mustache trim was a nice touch as well. This is a great place! Very nice deviation from the traditional (and in my opinion very limited) clipper cut places. Gents has definitely earned my repeat business and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a great experience!

Literally the best haircut Ive ever had. These are true professionals who know hair and how to give you a cut that works for your hair, face and head. They give an abundance of time to make sure every detail is right. The scalp massage, hot towel and shampoo are terrific added bonuses. Highly, highly recommended!

Staff is extremely caustic, highly aggressive and seems to enjoy harassing patrons in this business complex.In fact, I had an unbelievable altercation and encounter with two of their staff members in the parking lot today.While in the area, I briefly pulled over in the fairly empty parking lot, to safely respond to a text message from one of my buyers who I had hoped to meet at Starbucks in the same complex this afternoon.I pulled up sideways across a couple spots, hoping to catch the shade of a near tree, because although its absolutely lovely out, the sun was hot.Moments later two employees of Gents, in two different cars, one male and a one female.. pulled up and intentionally pinned me in with their cars, so I could not leave and began berating me.Totally unprovoked, uncalled for and unwarranted.As I waited for the woman to move her car, the male insisted she should leave her car blocking me.It became obvious as things ensued that they both enjoyed harassing people needlessly.I would never reccommend this business to anyone and advise that you exercise caution if in the unfortunate circumstance of dealing with them.As a local guide, patron and long standing member of the Federal Way community, I frequent and do business in this complex every single day and have never encountered such oddly aggressive and unprofessional adults in this area.Have a wonderful afternoon and best of luck in all your community endeavors!

David took the time to help me figure out what I wanted. I was very comfortable the whole time. They offered cold beverages. They logged my haircut to my name so they can have consistency. What more can you ask for?

Been going here for several years now. They all do a great job though Madelyn normally does my cut. Worth the cost. Its appointment only, dont even try to drop in.

Worth every cent. $35 cut for full service. Add on a 10-20% tip (I went 20 because they were so professional and welcoming). Call to schedule an appointment and you wont be disappointed.
