I wouldnt recommend that anyone uses this company!! By far the worst Ive ever experienced! I moved in Halloween of 2014. I immediately noticed a severe bug infestation. When I called to complain I was told that I would have to pay for the exterminator even tho the problem was there before me. Next, in June of 2015 my ac was broken by a careless company. I was forced to leave my home for 2 weeks and stayed in a hotel with my 5yo daughter and infant son. I was not reimbursed for being put out of my home for 2 weeks even though the renters insurance said otherwise. I put in a 30 day notice and moved out October of 2015. I cleaned the place spotless (better than how I received it) and I was NEVER late with rent. However, here it is January 11, 2016 and I have yet to receive my security deposit.I have been told multiple times to wait it out because the check was sent but this company is bogus.
Beware! The home was filthy when I moved in . 4 Rent Now kept promising to clean but never did. I had to pay Merry Maids to clean it. Then it was infested with ants and they told me I would have to pay for the exterminator. The never repaired anything and if they had to come out, they charged me for the repairs or threatened me with eviction if I did not pay. I too endured very invasive searches every few months . They went into my refrigerator and dish washer and they took pictures of my furniture! I felt very invaded. I paid my rent every month without fail .When I told them I was relocating to another state in 90 days and could not sign another year long lease, they told me I had to leave in 30 days. This was after I lived there for 2 years! They harassed me by calling me at work and made my life a living hell. Very unprofessional and hostile.
They were great until Dana and Sue left. Now it seems theyre trying to get over on you and they dont try to help at all.My husband emailed a 30 day notice in October stating we would be moving in November. But, because we couldnt provide hard copies of my husbands orders until November, we ended up paying rent for a month in which we werent even living in the house. When it came time to receive our security deposit we noticed $150 taken out for cleaning. I highly doubt that all of the charges totalled exactly $150. Moreover, we cleaned the house to a better condition than it was before we moved in but we were nickel and dimed. When I called to request an itemized list of what needed to be cleaned, I was sent a blank email and have not heard from anyone since, though another employee was supposed to speak with the owner, Corinne Smith, and get back to me. Im very happy to no longer be dealing with this company. A company that I once enjoyed working with has turned into just another crappy Fayetteville property management company that just wants to take your money. Sad. My advice is stay the heck away from these people who dont want to actual work and do their jobs and have 0 integrity. If you do decide to rent with them, make sure you take pictures of every little thing to protect yourself because they will try to screw you over and swindle you. These people arent worth anything.
Had a great experience using this company. I was always able to get in touch with someone when I had a concern and worked with me through my special circumstances.
Has anyone lived at the 2804 one in Parkton? I just looked at the house in Parkton and what I found so far is the heating and ac works in only two rooms, mold in all rooms, and cockroaches and wasp bodies dead on the floors. The living rooms floor near the corner by the front door and windows is caved in, and there is a major leak under the house where the master bathroom is. The paint job in the kitchen is a ugly light blue with a dark red. On the island in the kitchen is still the eviction notice from the previous renters. The shed in the back still contains their property. In addition, the roof outside is missing some shingles to it. Good thing I had my boyfriends father look at the house, because he knows what to look for. Im just praying they are going to fix these problems before we sign, give money, or move in. Im just trying to find my perfect house with my man.
Do not expect them to do anything in a timely manner. We rented a property from this company for over a year and never really had any issue with them until we decided to move out and terminate our lease. We did everything we were supposed to do. We gave them a 30 day written notice stating that we would be terminating our lease and my wife scheduled an appointment for the move out inspection for December 11th. The inspection was very quick and very easy. The property manager said the house looked great and even commented on how well the carpets looked. She told me that she would try to expedite our security deposit payback, but informed me that it could take up to 30 days from the inspection date for it to be returned. My wife and I hadnt received anything up to January 8th and knowing that they still had a few days, I went ahead and contacted Dana Hogan just to see if it was being processed yet. She informed me in an email that it would be sent out by the end of the week. Well, here it is January 20th and we still have not received our security deposit. I have tried to contact Dana Hogan twice in the past 2 weeks and have not received any response. This company is a joke and only cares about taking your money. Avoid them if you can.
Poor very poor service, tenant destroyed my house and I blame it on Rent Now for not inspecting my house as they were supposed. I changed company, please think it twice before hiring this company.
This company provides outstanding services to my military clients, who are looking to rent.
We relocated to NC about three months ago We kept the communication open if any issues needed to be discussed regarding a rental with the company 4Rent Now. After we drove hundreds of miles, viewed the rental, pointed out the issues which were: a huge cockroach infestation in which we were told (Jenny) that the owner would take care of the pest problem, repairs for the flooring and ripped wall paper in the unit, along with broken, dirty blinds and broken screens on the windows and sliding door. The unit needed paint in which they said was another priority before moving in. Now, during the conversation with 4Rent Now, (Jenny) they told us everything was done that was needed and the unit was ready for move in (we already gave a deposit and signed the lease). The day before our big move 4Rent Now (Jenny) informed us that no repairs were done as of yet. So, we moved into a dirty apartment and are still waiting for the repairs. We moved in January, it is now February, with not one call from them. I was also told (Jenny) that I was not the only renter who was moved into a dirty unit by this company. - Update January 2017. We finally moved after exhausting most of our lease agreement. We were told (Nancy) that the owner was not going to paint. During our six month inspection one of the agents (Nancy) conducted the inspection walk through with an assistant (Brandy). The inspection left us feeling highly violated due to not being limited to living space but, also inspecting our closets, and even opening up and looking in our refrigerator. It was told to us that they needed the serial numbers in case of repair (the opening of the refrigerator along with the serial number was not written, nor indicated in the inspection report). The repairs were never conducted outside repairing the flooring. The repairs included: broken screens on the windows and sliding doors, the unit was never painted outside of one room and and one side of the smaller room (scuff marks, small holes and bug smears were on the walls along with roach feces, non - replacement of appliances (outdated dishwasher that emitted a smell of dead roaches when in use) broken but working stove, ripped wall paper, light fixtures with dead roaches in them, dirty blinds that were not the right size, caked on oil from cooking on the back splash wall and on the cabinets over the stove. The cabinet over the stove was never repaired as well. After our initial move in 4RentNow LLC informed us through email that we have two parking spots along with the parking numbers, they even advertised a pool. After our move in they informed us through email that they will pick up our pool passes and parking pass. Then we received an email informing us that we had to pay 25 dollars to receive the parking pass and through telephone conversation an extra 100 dollars to receive the pool pass. To top it off it rained in our condo through the windows (I have that on video). No staff apologized for moving us into a disaster nor was we compensated for the huge inconvenience. We were also told by 4rentnow LLC that it could of been that the owner of the condo was overwhelmed by the amount of repairs that were warranted on the condo. Our experienced with 4Rent Now LLC was unhealthy, stressful and a disaster. After move out, we left the condo in a better state than what we received at our initial move in. Now we are waiting for our deposit. And I have a feeling that they will mess that up too. P.S: The pictures and the amenities of the advertised condo was not what we received, all but not limited to: (carpet in the picture was ripped up linoleum, etc.) As stated above. Be careful renting from them and the owner (Little/s).
Terrible to deal with.
