I have been using Bug Out for years. Our technician is Ricky and he is awesome!! He is always responsive, punctual and extremely nice. His customer service is outstanding. Just want to thank you Ricky publicly for being the best technician in your field and to let you know you are appreciated! You will keep me being a customer with Bug Out! Oh and whenever I do call for an appointment, he customer service reps have always been really good and trying to accommodate my schedule.
Great company, they answer all emails quickly, the exterminator Ricky is so nice and works quickly and answered all my questions. He even worked quietly because my kids were sleeping! They are really are a great company
Had an appointment set for Saturday May 15th between 11-1pm. We waited around and no one showed. No one called to reschedule or just to keep us informed. Disappointed as we heard good things about the company but this is not starting off in the right foot. Looks like we will just have to take our business else where.
The scheduler gave me a date and a time and they didnt showed up may 29, 2021. I called the company and alyssa answered the phone call and she said there is no technicians for today...I was like its pointless and irresponsable from yall to schedule on a date without any technicians now I need to take from my work time on post because of their fault. I feel if nobody is going to be there why they did it. I am a transparent person and i believe in professionalism and being responsible. Unfortunely the only good thing I can say for this company is that James was responsible with his job on the extermination part but what about the other technician that was supposed to come to the customer appointment???. Because of them us customers suffer from their poor quality of work.
I had an appointment set between 9-11 and no one came. I called and was told they would contact the local office and have them contact the technician and have someone contact me to let me know what was going on. No one called so I contacted the local office myself and was put on hold while they contacted the technician who asked to reschedule for a later time, so I told them to have the technician call me. He never called and just randomly showed up, he came at a bad time so I asked why he didn’t call. He said the office should have contacted me. I told him he would have to come back later because it was a bad time. Supposedly he had a meeting he had to be in that morning which was why he never made the appointment but no one let me know so I waited around for nothing. Again I contacted the local office to complain and asked to speak to a manager to file a complaint, still waiting to be contacted back but no one has contacted me from before yet either so I’m not holding my breath. Either way this has all been extremely poor customer service and I wasted an entire morning for nothing which could have all been avoided with 1 phone call.
I greatly appreciate the customer service given by Mr. Ricky. Since we first met, hes always taken a good interest in providing an excellent service to our home, inside and out. Mr. Ricky has given good advice without being intrusive. Also, its been easy to communicate with the local office, as Ive had on occasion. Thanks for your work.
Everyone was very informative from the 1st phone call to get information in sign up to the actual technician coming out the very next day. Everyone was super helpful very friendly and seemed very concerned with my issues. Our technician was so nice and very informative And he seemed to be very knowledgeable about your products and how it was going to work for us. Were off to a good start I hold this kind of service stays with us throughout the following months to come. Terrible customer service. We had service with company prior to bug out (state pest control), so we were grandfathered into bug out. Ever since, we have had nothing but issues with scheduling, billing (increasing and being charged when service not preformed), and inconsistent communication. Ive asked numerous times for it to be put on our account, we have a dog, I would like to know in advance when they come so we can arrange accordingly. Occasionally we may receive an automatic phone call with day they will be out, but no timeframe, so Im supposed to wait around all day? sometimes a technician would show up without us being home, or when its an inconvenient time for us and have to request a reschedule.Most recently, We had an issue with infestation in Jan, called and from a misunderstanding of a sales pitch from technician, we somehow signed up for a monthly service at $50 a month, instead of keeping our quarterly service at $77 charged at time of service. We were under the impression that this monthly fee would be to take care of the current issue we had, not replacing our service. We continued to receive billing for monthly fees even though no contact was made to come out monthly. This was somewhat cleared up by management after multiple calls, account back at zero with new understanding of what we needed and what we would be charged at time of service preformed. I receive a phone call the same week from out of state office saying our account was past due. I explained I spoke with local manager and it should be at a zero balance. Thought everything was taken care of, until we move and somehow they have our new address and bill us for a service never preformed in an amount that does not match anything they have charged before or arranged with us. They have not been to our house for any service since march 13 and have gotten billed every month with most recent bill received July 6.Aside from all of the customer service and billing issues related to pest control, we requested multiple times from the technician and manager, pictures from under the house for termite inspection and vapor barrier along with quotes. Glad we decided to hire someone else for this.Update July 7: I called several times this morning and finally was able to speak with Donna who said this was an automatic billing for June and July in the amount of $26.xx, (though services were not preformed in June, and somehow for July already, and the random $ amount is a mystery. In addition setting up quarterly service and billing with bill in May, this was not reflected on our account). We have moved and confirmed today that this account would be closed and inactive. I informed her we will no longer be using their service at new address.
Ricky has been my service tech for almost 2 years now and for very good reasons! For starters I have birds, they are very sensitive to common products of our time. Ricky listened to my concerns and recommended the proper product that was bird safe and little to no maintenance. Thanks to Ricky I rarely see any German roaches like I use to! I will continue to highly recommended your company and to request Ricky as their service tech.
Sorriest service with the sorriest products that dont work, along with their sorriest unexperienced so called service technicians. RIP OFFS to the Elderly. Should be ashamed of themselves.
We have used their services for about four years, and they have been nothin short of exceptional. We have always received honest and up front advice and information from their employees. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pest control company.
The manager over fayetteville are is great but not happy with the office staff or the service tech. The manager knows what is going on and he will fix problems just deal with him.
Mosquitos are just as bad and fleas I think are worse than before. They came 3 times to fix the problem yet I have more problems than before theyre help and we are paying top dollar for these terrible services.
Started out a great service. Rickey is a nice guy. As far as the rest of my experience it was dreadful. I apparently was automatically charged for service that never happened. Was told they tried to call and schedule but no missed calls, voicemails, text message, email, not even a smoke signal. I called to speak to manager last week and the girl on the phone insisted she know what the issue was and she would fix it by getting someone to my house. I asked for refund and she assured me that service would be this past Saturday between 1-3. And no one showed again. I called this morning again wanting my refund and the other woman wants to argue with me that the other girl did her job...... if that is the case you guys need to seriously restructure your business. It is her job to schedule and get employees where they need to be. Instead of saying she did hers and blaming someone else. Piss Poor teamwork.
These are a bunch of hard-working people who do their best to make sure that you were satisfied with their service. The serviceman Ricky is friendly and helpful. And any Financial dealings with the company have been through Crystal who is above board and willing to careful explain all Financial dealings. All in all a very reputable company and a company with integrity.
Called, they came out the next day for inspection. Salesman didnt try to push services we didnt need. He just made us aware of all services they offer. Service was done the next day by a nice and knowledgeable tech. Price is fair and they are a local medium-sized (multi location) company.
I found ants in my daughters bedroom on Monday and called another company who could not come out until Friday. I called this company and the lady who answered was extremely nice and helpful and they were able to get someone out that day to inspect and someone came the very next day to treat the areas (they also worked around my schedule) Rickey was extremely knowledgeable and professional and very reassuring. Price is competitive. The people are great. Krystal in the office is always nice and willing to help us with any problems we have. James our technician is thorough and knowledgeable and caring. Told us what we need to do to help with getting rid of the pest. Dustin is a great salesman. Knows about the pests and what they are going to do to get rid of the pests. I would highly recommend this team to anyone with a pest control problem.

Ricky Lacey comes out immediately and resolves any pest situations that occur. He is definitely attentive and thorough with spraying the playgrounds and classrooms to assure the children are safe from any critters.

We like that their products are at least somewhat eco-friendly in comparison to most other companies. We also love that theyre a small, locally-owned business. Above all, every technician we have had over the years has been wonderful! We miss Nick (who we had in Sanford), but Ricky is truly a pleasure! Very professional, and so kind and personable!

This has become a constant sales pitch. Used to be about service but now is about selling me something all the time. Did my yearly inspection except it became a sales pitch with this pushy guy named Bill with this younger guy. This Bill character would not shut up and just kept pushing and pushing and pushing for me to buy their recommendations. I wouldnt buy anything from this clown. Comes across as a con artist and used car salesman.

I called and they were able to send someone over right away - awesome! Dustin showed up and was great, very knowledgeable with all his experience, and was sooo so great about helping us get our homes heat treatment scheduled as SOON as possible. The price is actually pretty decent if you research average price of a heat treatment and the guarantee is peace of mind. Our landlord even agreed to split the cost with us, too. The guy they sent was very courteous and did his job great, heated the house up like a dry sauna. Three days later and there hasnt been a single live bug in our house and so far we are very happy and glad we went with this company.
I received a bill in June. Typically I do not receive bills so I called your company. The lady who answered informed me that it was a computer mistake, that I should have never received it and that everything was ok with my account. On july 11 I called because I was having issues and needed someone to come spray. At that time, the lady informed me that my account was in collections. I was flabbergasted because my account is on an automatic payment. I explained that I could show where each month had been paid on my card. Upon further inspection, she noted that the account was over charged $120 and was going to be put into collections because it made it seem as if I was not paying my bill. This had been going on since April. Not a single employee attempted to contact me in any way. When I did contact you all in June, I was informed there was nothing wrong with my account. When I contacted you in July the error was found. So for 4 months my account had an issue and not a single person attempted to contact me to make it right, instead you sent it/were going to send it to collections. In addition, it was your own error that caused the problem and not something I had actually done. When I talked on July 11 I informed them I wanted a manager to call me. I called multiple times after July 11 attempting to make contact with a manager. To no avail. So 13 days later I still have not received any communication from any manager. You have 4 locations, I would think that someone would want to keep me as a customer. I was going to allow you all to try to make it right

Ricky has been my service tech over 16 years this guy is great 👍🏻 he takes his time and explains everything when I have any questions. He made me feel more into learning about science learning about bugs and explaining all the why’s and how’s why it happen...... My little cousin is 9 years old now she wants to be a scientist she discovers bugs all the time. she sees what Ricky does so this in encourage her to discover bugs and what they do. We feel and trust Ricky very much. We trust him like family thank you so much Ricky for everything that you do from the Kirk’s family!!!!!!!! By the way my mom Ms. kirk said your her hero your the bug doctor lol...My mom is a private person but she only allows him to come and take care of the house but we’re feeling comfortable even more we are allowing any type of service through bug out team to come by as long as we hear that it is comfortable through Ricky Thank you for everything you do 😁 thanks 🙏 for your service Ricky! I had a block time appointment from 8a to 10a which means no time after 10a is acceptable. I took time off from work specifically for that appointment. Guy was a no call/no show during that time. Even though it was an employee and not the company as a whole they are a reflection of your business. A company that operates this way can not expect a future reschedule. I still have not received my refund nor a phone call from management to apologize for this situation. Horrible serve!I still have yet to receive my refund from this company. Its been three months. I understand it takes a couple (2) weeks to create a refund but 3 months is ridiculous. Below is my original comment for this company. I have since moved to at home sprays, which do the same thing and show up for appointments on time.When I had them as a service they were horrible. I would call multiple times to have them spray but they would cancel or last minute change your service date and time. They are hard to get a hold of and I moved from the house they are still charging me for service March 23, 2018. I called to cancel service March 30, 2018. I am still being charged for a service I no longer use. I have disputed these charges with my bank but they are also having issues getting in touch with this company. Horrible experience.

I am a SW for a local govt agency. We use SPC on a regular basis because they are friendly and responsive the same day. They work well with our agency and we reccomend them to any agency or home owner!

The guys who did the actual work did a fine job, but billing has been nightmare. We were set up with automatic withdrawls every month, but we kept getting overdue notices. Despite a successful automatic withdrawl every month, and a phone call made every month about the notices, they called a collection agency on us! We had to call our lawyer. Then, they automatically withdrew the remaing balance (x5 what we owed for the month) without notice. We figured- FINE! Anything to be done with these people.
