My husband, who happens to be Latino, went by Helzberg Diamonds in Meadowood Mall today to buy a new wedding ring for me. Mind you, he was wearing Wranglers and a funny Mexican t-shirt because its his day off, and lets face it, its Meadowood Mall, its not Rodeo Drive. The two women who were working there kept taking him to the clearance and used section. He tried explaining although they were nice, he wanted to look at new arrivals. They asked what his budget was and he said he didnt have one; because, he literally does not have a budget. Whether it was $5,000 to $20,000. So, apparently judging someones appearance and color of their skin is how they sell their jewelry. We will not be going back. He has bought literally all of my jewelry from Helzberg. Diamond rings, diamond necklaces and earrings. No more!

Went to the mall expecting to go to Kay jewelers or other jewelry stores looking for an engagement ring. As I was walking through spotted this amazing establishment and couldn’t help but give it a shot. From the moment I walked into the store I was the top priority to the staff. With not much to go on they were very helpful and able to narrow down to the best ring that fit my special lady. And to top it off they were very interested and giving ideas about how to propose. The staff, especially Leesa Mischke, was friendly, helpful, and treated me with the best customer service. And they were even able to get me a discount! I highly recommend the store and the staff!

I bought this ring 34 days ago when i contacted the store about returning it. The manager Melissa is not helpful at all and said its over 30 sorry basically too bad so sad. So i have been trying all week to get the regional managers number which no one in the company will give me. Then she decides to accept the return but cannot seem to be able to credit it back to the card i used since it was replaced due to leaving it at a gas pump. Then tells me it must be brand new and unworn to return.......claims her receipt says so. Receipt says return in like new condition....on what planet does that mean unworn. The minute you buy it they have you wear it out of the store?? So here i am again trying to get the regional or district managers number and she said Ill have to call you back and still has yet to. I would save yourself some hassle in buying from a store like this. Its probably due to them going out of business soon, but that give you no reason to treat customers this way.
One of my favorite places to buy jewelry at. All Smythe staff is friendly and willing to help especially one of the ladys there her name is Tracy.
Very helpful staff! My other half and i went to 5 other stores and couldnt find a ring that i liked. These ladies went through so many with us and were were helpful in my decision.

My husband and I go to Helzberg when hes ready to buy me a nice piece of jewelry. We only deal with one sales person and she is extremely helpful. Ive never had a problem. I would say the only real complaint is that the girls behind the counter seem slow. They are not as customer friendly as the sales people on the floor. Dont know how the commission works.
I have always enjoyed the jewelry Ive had from this store. However my recent visit I was not too happy. I walked into the store to get my ring checked and cleaned and even though there were no other customers and at least 6 or 7 employees to help me, not one of them acknowledged me when I came into to store so I walked through and walked right back out. I had intentions of treating myself to a piece of jewelry that day but decided to spend my money elsewhere.Sorry for the negative review but I was in a great mood prior to walking into the store that day.

Helzberg at Meadowood Mall wanted to charge me $89 to tighten the loose diamond on my wedding ring and straighten a prong. It was going to take 2 weeks to get back. I told her I was going take it to Michaels and sons. She replied with Good luck, they are weeks out too. Michaels and Sons did it for free in less than 30 minutes. This is why we buy all of our fine jewelry at M and S. They definitely know how to treat and take care of customers. As for Helzberd... We wont be back.

My diamond wedding ring has not been out of my possession for 18 years. My wife originally purchased the ring from Helzberg in Reno, NV. I brought my wedding ring in to have it re-sized and was worried about just turning it over. The ladies at Helzberg understood my concern and listened to me. I may have even spoke a little much yet they were patient and eased my concern. When I received the ring back it was in beautiful like new shape and I was extremely pleased. So was my wife since I had not been wearing the ring for quite a while. Thank You Helzberg.

I actually had a great experience with Helzberg. My husband and I went in, picked out a new beautiful set for our 10 year anniversary and the staff was very outgoing. They did what they could to provide additional discounts for us and have cleaned my rings for me everytime I have gone in. I would buy from them again.
My boyfriend bought a promise ring for me from Helzberg. I absolutely love it and it was so exciting but within 24 hours a diamond fell out. I got it replaced then 3 weeks later another one fell out and I have another lose in its setting. The customer service is poor. I expected more from them.

I bought my wifes diamond wedding ring and service plan here in 2012. She has revived excellent care since. She goes in every 6 months for an inspection and cleaning and Ive never noticed it to take an exceptional amount of time.The saleswoman was very helpful, but interpreted my confusion as hesitancy. The ring design my wife had indicated was substantially different from what she had previously browsed (cathedral vs halo), so I was rather confused by what she was showing me until it was sorted.I talked to the manager by chance at one point on why I acquired my ring at different location. Very open to my feedback in how they could expand their metal choices and options to appeal to more men.

I visited this store and asked if they had bloodstone which is my birthstone, and the woman manager in a snarky and rude and confronting manner said that no jewelery store would carrie such item well thats just not a fact i found micheal and sons jewelers in reno nevada does and can get this type of stone so much for what she said. I will NEVER go to this helzberg diamonds snobbish sef important load of .... Ever again, also if anyone wants fine jewelers you can also go to( christopher evan jewellers and gold Smiths) that are UK and Europes best and they got it all and they will treat you with the respect you deserve!! They are on Facebook.helzberg diamonds SUCKS and to my own opinion they are a over inflated five and dime.

In my opinion the best place to get any type of jewelry.
My husband bought me a ring for our anniversary in November. It was a bit big so we brought it back to get a smaller size. They told us it wouldnt be ready until after the holidays. It wasnt ready for us to pick up until January 27! Then it still didnt fit, so we had to go back to get it sized again and she said it wont be ready until after Valentines day. Whats worse was the people working here took forever to even acknowledge us when we came in the store. When she did she was so rude. So if you have the patients to deal with rude people and multiple fittings you may end up with your jewelry after four months. Im not sure though, I still dont have mine..
What a joke of a company! where should I start? probably with the manager Courtney and assistant Melissa, what pathetic excuses for managers HA dont make me laugh! I purchased a ring that was not my size and with their promise of not sending of your jewelry because they have a jewleron site.. well that wasnt the case, I went in a day before my promised date and no one had any idea what was going on. low and behold they sent my ring off without my permission & when I confronted them on it they just gave me excuses promised itd be back blah blah. so for all the miscommunication they were supposed to give me either a crappy bracelet or a $50 dollar credit! of course I selected the 50 dollar credit which they said they would put on my account in February sometime when they had a sale going on, well that never happened & now theyre accusing me of basically taking the bracelet they offered & thats what I was given so they dont need to credit my account?! how dare you people accusing anyone of anything just because your unprofessional irresponsible staff cant do their jobs properly?!! Ill be taking this up with corporate & NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS AGAIN!
UPDATECorporate got a hold of the store and they actually made up fairly nicely for the things that happened.Still a little sad about the ring not being the original. Butttt they apologized. The manager is nice but unfortunately I was still very disappointed in the other employees for lying to me about my ring being broken.It is what it is.I’m sure it doesn’t happen ALL the time but it seemed as if the jeweler and other employees thought my ring as unimportant as they brushed off telling me what was going on.Thank you for the apology and doing what you could to make it up.Original:I am NOT happy.After spending hours with my fiance trying to figure out what we should do with my ring resizing. We decided (wrongly apparently) that this was the best place to go to get the ring back quickly and safely. WRONG. On every level.Now we could have sent the ring back into the company that he had purchased it from, kept the engagement, and had the jewel tightened free of charge. We decided to pay for these Aholes to essentially just completely destroy my engagement ring. (Now they did tell us we wouldnt be able to keep the engraving on the ring due to it needing to be downsized so much. We talked it over and decided down the road we will come back to get it engraved again before our wedding.) It was REALLY hard for me to part with the ring and let go of a piece of the ring that the love of my life put effort into. But we were told it would only be a week out so we decided waiting a little less time was worth it. Like I said we planned on coming back to get it engraved. That plan has changed because I HATE them for what they did.They told me my ring would be ready Sunday. A week away from when we dropped it off. We called and they kept saying theyd call back. Finally they said the jewel still was loose and everything was unpolished still but it had been resized. So Tuesday was the new day to pick up. Slightly irritated I figured I could wait and my engagement shoot wasnt until Wednesday anywho. But I did have a dinner planned where I was going to get to show off my cute ring, which didnt happen that Sunday. Tuesday it was though! I mean I could deal with that.They lied. I called them today and they BROKE MY JEWEL! I asked if they knew this happened when I talked to them on Sunday and they said yes! Then she explained to me that opals are soft blah blah blah. I know an opal is softer then a diamond thats why you handle it carefully! She said they would refund me and order me a new opal that they picked! I asked if it was going to be the same as the one so had and she pretty much bashed on the ring that my sweet man had taken so long to design for me. Then she apologized for the inconvenience....breaking something SO sentimental to me is NOT an inconvenience. Its BS. It should have never happened. NOT getting it to me on the day it was supposed to be done. THAT is an inconvenience. But BREAKING my ring and making it into 1/3 of the original ring I had in the first place is not okay. My heart is broken that instead I have strangers who know nothing about me picking my new opal. Their was no sympathy in their voice and they were acting as if it was an inconvenience for them to have to take time to explain this to me. I am just appalled at how poorly rang this is and if I could I would give them negative stars on this. DONT BRING ANYTHING OF IMPORTANCE TO YOU HERE! THEY WILL RUIN THEM AND ONLY OFFER A REFUND. Geeee, wow, thanks I have a whole $75 back instead of my ring I held close to my heart.I also had to cancel my engagement shoot which is costing me money and the photographer I wanted is now booked out for 2 months. I was lucky to get them on a cancellation. Now Im in the hole $150 for cancel fees and my ring is a third what it used to be. You would think people would be more careful with such important things. Guess not.The ring is SUPPOSED to be ready for pick up on Thursday now.
My wife bought me a very nice Citezen watch for Christmas from Helzberg Diamonds inside the Meadowood Mall. The watch had a defective link in the band, not allowing it to hinge.We took the watch back to the store to have it repaired or replaced. They took it to the back and a short time later brought it back out.The link now hinged but the finish was scratched. I requested a replacement. I was told a new watch would be ordered and shiped from Washington and would arrive on Tuesday.Tuesday came around and no call from Helzberg. I called them and no watch. The same thing on Wednesday and Thursday. Never once did I get a call from them.I called Friday and was told the watch just arrived and is ready for me to come and pick it up.I arrived at the shop and was greeted by the assistant manager. She opened the filing type cabinet in search of the watch. I observed a large, watch type box in the bottom cabinet. There was room for at least two more watch size boxes in the same cabinet.The assistant manager could not seem to find the watch that was supposedly ordered. She left and came back to the cabinet. She located a file folder and removed a watch that was inside a baggy. She handed me the baggy and told me this was my new watch.I removed the watch and observed it to have finger prints all over it and a small scratch on the lense.I asked the assistant manager where the box was. She told me the watch was removed from the box as there was not enough space in the store to store the box with the other inventory. She then took the watch to the back room.I walked to the front display case where I had looked at the same brand and model of watch a week prior. The display watch was gone.I asked a second employee, on the store floor, if the watch I was being given was the display watch. She told me yes it was the display watch.I confronted the assistant manager about the watch, that was supposed to be new, being the display watch.She gave me a ridiculous reason as to why the watch was in the display case. She told me the watch was received today but was put into the display case on accident, which confirmed the lie. After catching her in the lie she immediately told me she was going to get the manager, to which she did.The manager immediately offered me a discount of $50.00. I advised her of the situation and of my findings.The manager joined in on the lie. She told me they had sent the watch I had originally purchased back to Washington and received it back. I told her I brought the watch I originally bought back to the store today. She then told me she had been gone all week and did not know anything about it. The manager then tried to give me a $100.00 gift card for a later purchase. (There will never be a future purchase by me or my family)I told the manager to give me my money back and that I would be buying the watch somewhere else due to their lying and deception.Horrible management and customer service.
