Should’ve read the reviews first. Not worth it at all, especially since they are really unpleasant. They started by doing the wrong service. I really wanted it to be peaceful. Oh well.

I got my nails done at this salon twice with similar expieriences both times. the man who worked on my nails seemed agressive and in an horrible mood both times. The other lady doing nails seemed sweet and if you do find yourself going to this salon i suggest going to her. The first time i went in was just to fix an broken acrylic nail job and it went ok besides the mans horrible attitude and an not the best quality for the nail they replaced. the first nails i had fell out really quickly after going to get them done here and the nail he prepared had an bubble in the nail itself (if that makes any sense lol) The second time I came was also below average, I got the same agressive man before and he had another horrible attitude. He also kept arguing with the women working there over trivial things as well as some other patrons at the spa, including rejecting patrons with an small child. The salon itself was huge with only two people working. the man was incredibly harsh with my nails including making my right nail bleed. My hand still kinda hurts from it. . Allthough they had an price board when you walk in they will often charge you many many dollars over the price. they had coffin nails listed under 45 dollars and i ended up paying 60. An women asked for the 25 dollar pedcure option availiable on the wall and she was told no and given the 40 dollar option (which was upped again because she had an broken nail) so if your willing to go to an subpar shop with not the best of quality and customer service, then this place is made for you. Heres the pic of my nails. To play devils advocate this is my third time overall getting my nails done so my oppinion may be flawed, however this is the best review I can do for you all :/

Its not worth wasting your money...the man and woman argue all the time and they are rude...I got a basic Mani/Pedi and my toes and fingers are worse than when I went in... I was fair... I gave them 3 visits and not once did my nails look professionally done.

I came here because it was recommended to me by a friend. My old salon was charging way too much for me to have to come home and finish them (the corners were so sharp and it there was so much leftover filings, crooked).Universal got it right on the first trip! Rounded my corners, the gel wasnt laid on thick and they take the time to clean up your nail/fingers (I get gel over my natural nail). The techs are personable and very nice. Plus, its not crowded and I dont feel like Im going to have an asthma attack sitting there. Ive tried 3 different places in a year. Im staying with Universal!(Ignore my super dry hands, I wash/sanitize all day every day)

First time and I went in for a pedicure which went well however the man that did my pedicure left to service someone else and the woman came to do my polish. She put polish on my big toe only and I asked her could I pick another polish before she does the rest because I didn’t like the color. She let me pick another color and immediately became agitated and proceeded to fuss in her language. So because she was mad, she rushed putting the polish on and didn’t even bother to clean the edges up. Once she was done I asked where do I pay and she told me to sit down at the dryers with an attitude. As I’m sitting she goes over to two other ladies and proceeds to talk about me. Professionalism and customer service out the window and I will never return and I did read the reviews beforehand however I wanted to take my chances. I do not recommend this place.

The older man has a terrible attitude and the woman that sits behind him likes to put in her two centsby arguing with customers. I would never go back due to customer service.

Had a mani and pedicure everything looks and feels awesome.

The owners hands looked like they had not been washed in days... They were so filthy that a bacterial infection appeared a day later.. I have never been to a salon before where my nail became infected.

I have been going to Universal Nails for the past 8 years. They do such an amazing job. They have the best pedicures in town and their nail job is quick, and perfect. I love the owners and they always greet me as if we haven’t seen each other and make me feel welcomed. I have recently moved and still drive the 40 min to come here to get my nails done. I won’t go anywhere else.

I went around 5pm on a Saturday and there was only one other person in there. The guy who did my pedicure did a great job, but the guy who did my nails was pretty grumpy and a little rude. He kept pushing me to get gel polish, i kept telling him no. He said no one uses regular polish anymore so you should get gel and I had to tell him no again. The lasy who did my eyebrows did a great job. This was probably the cheapest nail place I found since been here. Oh on their sign it said free drinks such as water and soda, but they did not offer any. Would I go back? I dont know

Just to follow up on my post from 2 weeks ago. If I could give him 0 stars I would. My nails are pretty much breaking apart and from the nails that are broken I found fungus. I do not recommend this place to anyone and I will not be going back.

During Covid19 only checking temperature for minority customers. Caucuses are not screened, very poor business practice. Take your funding to someone that respects your race!

I have been getting my nails and feet here for over 13 years. I tried one other place and they messed up my nails...they are always polite to those that are polite to them. True successful business owners living the American dream. I just tried the diamond pedicure...WOW WOW WOW!!! THE GEL AROUND MY FEET AND MASSAGE...TOTALLY WORTH the extra $10

3.23.19 I went to get gel nails and a pedicure and I pointed out to the owners wife a few things that needed attention in regards to my polish and she started fussing at me in front of other customers. The owner was trying to get his wife to calm down and she kept fussing and throwing her hands up in the air. As a customer I have the right to inquire about a service. They really need to work on their customer service skills. I will not be returning to this nail salon. The experience was horrible. I should have paid attention to the reviews.3.27.19 I went back the shop today because my gel polish came off two of my nails and once again I was verbally attack by both the man and his wife. He accused me of peeling the polish of my nails. Nonsense! The man threaten to call the police on me and I had my sister as a witness!

Ive been coming here for several months. I get gel nails. The quality is great! They last until they get longer. Ive never had any break or chip. I have retir other places but experienced chipping. I am a busy person and need my nails to last.

Poor service very rude. My mother spend over $200 at this place. I, my sister and mother got eye lashes done that were $30 the lashes was falling off the next day the guy there does a terrible job. my nail came off 3 days later. The Chinese guy didnt even want to explain there menu and prices to my mother he had a bad attitude. didnt even give us no refreshments they said they had. mind you my mother got a pedicure why wouldnt they give her a refreshment? like that is a shame to spend that much money and service be that bad. i dont ever wanna waist my time there again. yea it looks nice in there but these people are not nice. just couldnt get over them. i normally dont do rates but i couldnt with these people.

First I went there to get my nails done with regular acrylic. About two weeks later I wanted to get the regular acrylic removed and have the gel acrylic done. What they did was file the acrylic down just a little and then apply the gel acrylic on top of it which made my nails look very thick and bulky. I also asked them to keep my nails at the same length as I was happy with the length of my nails but what they did instead was file my nails all the way down to my fingertips. now as my nails are growing, the acrylic is so thick that it looks like I have on added nails. Also after they applied the acrylic, the shaved under the nail causing my nails to be so thin that even if I attempt to pop off the acrylic (due to its thickness) it wil rip the complete length of my nails right off! No need telling these folks how you want your nails, they are going to do it the way they want anyway. their customer service sucks! they were so rude and acted so impatient like you were in their way by just being there. Find another place to go. Youve been warned!

Im new to Fayetteville. And I seen the reviews but I wanted to test the waters for myself. I walked in and said I wanted a pedi and a fill. (Not so sure of names but he was an older male) he sat me down at the pedi station. Water wasnt even a good temperature. More like a Luke warm. The pedi was relaxing he did decent. He really cant paint tho. Didnt even try to get my ingrown toenails which is why I came in the 1st place. I asked for a menu so I can see exactly what pedi I wanted he said we dont have one just gave me prices with no information included. So I picked the 40. I got a fill from the same man. He nicked me idk how many times. I dont even know how he got his nail tech certificate lol. He didnt even do step by step (Im in school, so I know step by step). This place is horrible . He charged me 30 for a fill, no paint, no nothing, I paid 70 dollars (right thing to do) but I will never be back. Ever. My nails are short. 30 dollars for a fill. Hes crazy. Dont go here. Its a waste of your time. And the whole time he was doing my fill he was on facetime Im guessing with his family. But thats so unprofessional. Smh. Shoulda listened to the other reviewers. Lol

This place is horrible! They charge you outrageous prices and the services are poor!! Customer service is horrible as well!! I wanted to use a different brand of polish and they tried to charge me 20$ just for using that particular brand.

My sister and I went there today. It is a beautiful place, the service sucks! ! Lesson learned. WILL NEVER GO OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! !!It dont deserve a one star! !

This place has poor customer service. The male that works here is rude and does not produce good services. He makes the decision of how he wants you nails and does not take in consideration of how you want you nail. Terrible business. Worst experience every. Word of advise dont get your nails done at a empty place just because you dont want to wait always go where there are people at, and wait have patient or poor service. Went with a friend on Friday and it was horrible. Little did the nail tech know my friend spoke vietnamese and as the nail techs were speaking to eachother in that language my friend tells me that they are talling bad about us! Incredibly rude and the supposed gel nail polish that is supposed to last longer than regular polish is already peeling and coming off. I will never go back here!

I get my nails done very often/ in beauty industry myself, so i iknow how to consumer myself professionally. I politely told the owners.I didnt care for me design. The man owner and his wife then yelled at me and continued to talk about me in front of customers. They took my money and left me with crapoy nails. Entire experience was unprofessional.

Did an awesome job on my nails today

We were in town visiting and all that was needed was a polish change. Walked in and the girl was sprawled on the couch on her phone - the gentleman was snoozing in the chair. No hello, how are you etc - all the words that were said was pick colorFrom that point on there was nothing said - just pointing. It was like doing their job was a big inconvenience.When going to pay, the girl stood at the counter and just stared.When asked how much and all she said was 8 - no explanation as to 8 what - no thank you - no good bye from the girl. She went right back and plopped herself back on the couch.Such poor customer service never before experienced. Beware if you are looking for a friendly environment. You wont find it here!

Ok for starters this guy is hard to understand which would have been FINE. I love getting my nails done at every opportunity and I decided to try this place out. The woman who did my polish was very sweet, and very good. That is the ONLY reason I gave this 2 stars. When a woman walks in and tells you she wants an acrylic overlay and wants rounded off nails not squared off nails it means you give her and overlay with rounded nails. Not disregard her wishes and tell her Square is better. Look much younger Im 25 years old. My nail beds are round. Round looks better. Im not worried about looking older right now. Duh. Then they give you a full set instead of just the overlay. Costing me about $10 more than was intended but had they been well done i would not have minded the extra expense. They are thick. Badly shaped, they put them on top of my cuticles, rather than make sure the underlying nail was well groomed. Then they felt bulcky and uncomfortable. Nails should not feel bulky. Then began to break off after just 2 days. I will not be back and I strongly urge you to save your money and go somewhere else. The asian man is arrogant and will not listen to your wishes. The woman in there is too sweet though.
