I went in for a gel pedicure and I was very impressed! The inside is extremely clean, sanitized, and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. My nail tech was Bella. She did an amazing job! She was friendly and took her time. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other salons. My gel pedi was $45. I will definitely be returning.

We love lee nails! If you’re going to get your nails done you definitely want to see Ben, he is so meticulous and careful and really takes his time to make sure you get what you want. He will even make recommendations to you if you’re open to them. For a pedi see Bella, she gives the best massages! They do walk ins but these two get booked up pretty quick so I would call and make a reservation if you can!Update: just got a fill and polish change and as always Ben never ceases to amaze me. I needed my shape rounded out a little for work and he exceeded my expectations! A must visit for a set and relaxing pedis

I went here during the gas shortage to try and converse on a trip to Harris Teeter. I asked for a quick dry top coat and no one in the store could understand me. The woman doing my nails had to get the guy checking people in and another woman for help. No one understood what I was asking for. Ok fine. Then the woman doing my manicure cut my finger to the point of bleeding and didnt acknowledge it. Next, I watched her water down the nail polish with alcohol in front of me. The manicure lasted about 12 hours. It was terrible. Ill never go back. It was pretty dirty and stunk too.

The service here is great, they take walk in and appointments. I always walk in, I dont mind the wait its not usually long. Theyre dip nails are beautiful and clean. I usually get pedicures there and I wont go anywhere else locally. The prices are respectable.

At first, I liked this nail salon. They did a great job on my nails the first time I went there. When I went back for a fill in, some of my nails were not straight and 2 if them ended up breaking off after only 2 days. When I told them about it, they still charged me to fix them. After going back again, my nails ended up breaking again, one in the nail bed and is quite painful. Needless to say I wont be going back to them.

Waited for over an hour and was put in a pedicure station for over 45 mins with no service. My friend who was getting a full set was done before anyone even checked on me. Would not recommend.

Do not go,I seen they had some bad reviews,but figured I would still give them a try BIG MISTAKE. I was wanting my lashes done, the way she did them I had never had them done that way and now my eyes are swollen and sore. It irritated my eyes so bad!!! Didnt even have them on a wk more like 3 days. Dont waste ur money. Ill NEVER go back!!!!

Charged me $45 for a fill in/1 nail repair. I could’ve went somewhere else and got a whole new full set for that price, with better quality. The nail buff had yellow all over it (which was probably polish from a previous customer) and it stained my nails. I had clear nails and he used the off white nail to replace it so I couldn’t just get clear polish cause one nail was off white and the other were clear. I’m thankful they were open today but I’m never coming here again.

Didnt get the chance to get my nails done i waited too long so I left. But the inside was clean and they had plenty of polish to choose from.

DONT GO HERE! me and my mother went too this establishment and got our services done and the first time we went everything was ok the second time ... NO! when we left my heal was bleeding and bruised from the pedicure my mothers nails popped off less then 24 hours of her nails getting done and they were all crooked.

This was my first time in awhile getting a pedicure and trust me, you could tell. I worked with Ben and he was professional and punctual. Due to COVID-19, they are limited staff and clientele throughout the day (Appt. Only). I was able to book my appointment the day prior and they made me a priority when upon arrival.We even started on my pedicure 15mins before my actual set time. My feet weren’t neglected one bit and he made sure they’re were perfect before leaving. I got the deluxe pedicure and it was worth it. Thank you for making my experience memorable!

My gel nail polish peeled after one day of wear! I we t back to have it fixed, after I waited an hour, I left, and never will return! They looked beautiful when I had them done initially, but I have never had gel polish peel off the next day...

This will be my new go-to place for a pedicure!It was exceptionally clean with no odors. The television was playing the National Geographic channel at a low level of volume. It was artistically beautiful to look at and such a nice change from most salons that seem to have some horrible reality show with bitter back stabbing and snarky women blaring so loud you cant tune it out. There was also a lovely, relaxing spa music channel playing. The woman giving me my pedicure How (she said her name was, hopefully I did not spell incorrectly) did a BEAUTIFUL job. Im so pleased!

I will never go back! Very bad service. Went in to get a gel fill in. Was not greeted in a friendly manner. Waited 15 mins to be seated and once she started on my nails she was on her phone and busy greeting every person who walked through the door she didnt even speak to me. She seem to hurry through with my fill in, filed my nails unevenly and painted them in a hurry. Some of my cuticles had gel paint on them while others you could still see the white tips through the pink polish I had them painted because she did not use enough polish. It looked so sloppy I could have done a better job painting them myself. After pointing out to her that I did not like some of may nails she seemed irritated that she had to attempt to fix them.If you are providing a service to people you should 1. Be courteous to your customers. 2. Make your customers happy. This place did neither.

I went in on a Wednesday at 10am, I was the ONLY one there the entire time & they were SO SLOW. They left me sitting in the pedicure chair so long that my water got cold! A simple pedicure took me 2 hours... won’t be coming back.

Writing under friends account - female customer.I knew management wouldnt give me my money back after I paid. I called and stopped in to at least give them a chance to be honest. They chose the LIE!! Went there Friday to have my nails filled in with acrylic. ($17 svc) The woman tech asked if I wanted my nails cut back (I do not have tips). I said sure and asked for mood nail polish. ($3 to trim) They debited my account $37.00 for a fill in the services mentioned. The funny thing is they had a NEW answer every time I repeated myself for clarity. I never once ask for GEL fill or GEL polish. But they charged me as if I did.DO NOT GO there. Liars and cheaters too. I looked the woman in her eyes and asked is this worth your character ... she answers she does not remember me or my request. All the while avoiding my eye contact.A place that halfway cared about its customer would have at least pretended to understand my frustration. The man in the shop lies so fast its scary. I will NEVER go back to them again!! And perhaps they should leave the children at home so they can focus on whats being said. The child there on Friday has no mute button. Very distracting when you are paying for me time.I told them I was going to write this. See. Not that hard telling the truth!!

This place is HORRIBLE!!! Sat for an hour because apparently there’s only one person capable of taking polish off of my nails,and that one person seems to be the only one in the shop able to wax which is what he did for customers that came in after me. Not what I was expecting after working all day never coming back.

Today was my first te at this salon. I didnt get my techs name but she was wonderful. I love the way my nails look and she did my eyebrows perfect. (Im usually extremely picky about my brows, but she killed it)Ill absolutely be back again for a fill in, and I may even get a pedi too.

I will never return to this establishment. Yesterday was my first time going to Lee Spa Nails. The Asian lady was rude the minute I walked in. I’m not one to pull the race card, but observing the way she interacted with the other women who were not women of color versus women of color was just blatant racist. My water was ice cold, when I tried to inform her about it, she insisted that it was hot enough until I made her place her hand in it, in which she didn’t even apologize, she just ran hot water on top of the cold water and just walked away. She didn’t even turn the massager on the chair. While sitting there I watched her interact with the other women (Caucasian) in a much professional manner, versus myself, and I wasn’t even rude to her while she was being rude to me. If anyone know of a nail spa that’s black owned, please let me know because I definitely don’t mind spending my money there.

I see race card mentioned in many comments...I dont believe its race specific; they are just plain rude here! I have been coming for years with my daughter while Tina was the owner. The past 3 visits all under Bens ownership and each one was terrible. Price increase & SERVICE DECREASE!👎🏽Its a shame, 2 of the employees (both Hispanic) are very kind and helpful. I think theyre the only reason this place is surviving.I draw the line when youre rude to my young daughter. Lost our business for good.

I was referred to this salon by a regular and expected way better. I don’t usually write these but my service was horrible. We waited for 30-40 minutes once we were finally sat a man started working on my friends feet while I waited another 10-15 minutes for someone to start on mine. The younger man I got was so rough and sped through the whole pedicure. My five minute foot massage was literally only a minute calf rub. I get pedicures pretty frequently and the job that young man did was piss poor!

I do my very best not to pull the race card, but I am beginning to believe that my money is not welcomed at Lee Nail Spa in the Harris Teeter Traemoor shopping center. I have come to receive nail services on 4 different occasions since Ben became the owner of this spa upon Tinas departure. The Asian woman that sits next to Ben is EXTREMELY RUDE & SHORT WITH MYSELF & OTHER AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN that I have observed her interactions with on every occasion that I have been to this spa under their new ownership. She speaks to each of us in a very aggressive & dismissive tone, makes little to no eye contact, and flat out acts as if she wished that we would just go away!! I have never felt so disrespected when spending over $90 plus a good tip for a manicure and pedicure until meeting this crew. Today took the cake, I came in with swollen feet and requested a pedicure from the guy who sits at the end of the same row that she & Ben sits and I said that anyone could do my manicure. I requested him because he does great massages & Id hoped that he could decrease some of the swelling that I had in my feet. He was with a client, so I knew that I would have to wait for him to finish, none of those 3 employees addressed me beyond that. As I patiently waited, the Asian woman finished her client & then asked a customer who came more than 30 minutes after me, what services did she want, still not addressing my need for a manicure as I waited for the guy to finish his client. Another woman came in for services 1 hour after I was still waiting & when the employees asked how could they help her, I asked who would assist me. I reminded them that I was still waiting for the guy at the end of the row to do my pedicure, but anyone could still do my manicure. The Asian woman yelled, HE NOT DO, TOO LATE, COME BACK TOMORROW!!! Ben FINALLY interjected that he would my manicure and I could still get the pedicure from the man that I requested. Now, TWO OTHER NON AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN have entered the establishment with less than an hour left before closing, both ladies requesting a pedicure and manicure, neither of them were meet with resistance. I come to this location because of the proximity to my home, however, on the other 3 occasions of me coming, I have brought my teenage daughter for the same services with me rendering over $200 for both of our services with tips. I dont know whats the deal with this Asians womans disdain with African American Woman, but if she does not want to provide the same level of courtesy and respect to these women & myself, maybe she should post a sign that reads your business is not welcomed here. I come to the spa to relax, not to be treated as an outcast....Lady your attitude stinks & Ben, I am disappointed that you are not doing a better job with controlling how your employees interact with your customers. I will NEVER recommend Lee Nail Spa to any of my associates, friends, family or strangers that ask if I know of a spa nearby!!!

I will never go back to this place. I got the worst customer service ever! THEY HAD ME IN TEARS and I had to call the police because it was that bad. I was getting my nails done, there was a bit of a mess up of the sides which I asked if he could fix; first of all if they are getting fixed, they would use nail polish removal; not in this case he used his cuticle cutter to cut the polish off. After he did this I said that he needed to fix the polish because it didnt look good, sure thing he puts another coat of color on top of the clear finish coat and when I see now my polish looks all bubbled up and horrible! I have been getting my nails done for so long to know how it is supposed to look. BY this time the gentlemen doing my nails starts starts saying Im too picky and that I told him to put more color and do them like this. CORRECTION - I DIDNT ASK TO PUT POLISH- I SIMPLY ASKED HIM TO FIX IT. He would not take it off and if he did I had to pay 20 dollars for a horrible work that HE did. Not only this but also starts accusing me SAYING that all I want is free work because I ALWAYS COME THERE AND THAT IM ALWAYS VERY PICKY AND THAT HE KNOWS ME FROM HIS OTHER LOCATION,- everybody it was MY FIRST TIME to this place!!!!!!!! MY regular place was closed due to them being on vacation and because I was on that specific area and saw this place I decided to check them out ( WORST MISTAKE). By this time I feel awful for being accused for something that I clearly am not and then everybody start speaking in their language of course I feel a lot more uncomfortable because I do not know what they are talking about. I then tell this person Im calling the police to have it all fixed because clearly Im being mistaken by somebody else. This gentlemen still has the audacity to say to ME to go ahead and call that he doesnt care and that he knows Im going to change my story! I said well you are making me feel very uncomfortable and then he walks away and says something but I couldnt understand, which then it is very unprofessional of him to speak in a different language knowing that not everybody understands. At the end I ended up paying just so I could prove to that gentlemen that I was not who he was mistaking me for and that I clearly have enough money to pay for the services and a lot more.I do not recommend this place they are very unprofessional, mean and rude. I had never EVER been treated like this anywhere else.

The quality of their work is very poor. A quick rush job to get you out and nobody speaks to you at all until its time to pay. The nail tech stayed on her phone the whole time I was getting my nails done. NOT PROFESSIONAL!!!!

My mom had her first manicure there today and loved it. The guy was so nice and her nails looked amazing. When I went to get mine done the lady was very rude and was not paying any attention to me. She was constantly pulling my hands back and forth and was more focused on her phone and talking to her coworkers. I am highly dissatisfied and my fingers hurt quite a bit. My recommendation for this salon is dont let the lady with the blonde hair touch your hands.

I took photos hoping to post the extremely poor gel polish job they did today but it wont let me upload them anywhere on here. It is by far the worst nail job Ive EVER had. There is gel all on my hands and most of my cuticles right now. Its very uneven. Im not typically a finicky person.. but this is so bad I couldve done better using my nondominant hand doing it by myself. And it was $35!!!I moved to the area not long ago and have been looking for a good nail salon. Im a nurse so I only get manicures w/ gel polish and keep short nails.. so Im easy. When I came here today I was at first relieved that the staff spoke English and the place looked nice. I picked a mood changing gel that was supposed to change to hot pink when Im cold.. not even under cold water does it work. Other salons it works just fine. She mustve put something else on it.Ugh so frustrated. My partner said it looks horrible, like I painted my own nails using white-out. Hes going to take me to get them fixed this weekend somewhere else.

Weve been to the salon many times throughout the past few months. I believe in giving a business more than one chance before rating them. The salon itself is very nice, with great pedicure chairs. Ms. Tina is very nice and always willing to fix any problems without question. She is efficient on a set of gels and they have a lot of colors. Problem is that I prefer solar, but their employees insist that their gels will look good so I caved and let them do gels. I just dont like them (btw...Ms. Tinas turn out better than the two others). Please give me what I ask for without insisting I try something I dont care for. The other reason for the low rating is that my daughter and I enjoy a good massage with our pedicures. They set a timer to ensure you get the time you pay for, but stare at the tv while theyre doing the massage, making for a lame massage. Was hoping Id start liking the gels, but no...time to move on.
