My stepmother bought me a gift card here about 5 years ago, so I gave it a go. Back then, I was really shy and going in for a cut was nerve-wracking. My first cut was a great experience, the stylist was patient with me and never made me feel like I had to chit chat with her. This was also the only salon that styled my hair according to my hair type and didnt slather on a bunch of product making it stiff and poofy. So I kept going back!After a few more visits, I ended up scheduling with Elley. Shes super chill and always gives me a great cut, even if I dont know exactly what I want. 😅 Im a lot more comfortable getting my hair cut, and now Im the one wanting to chit chat. Ill often ask Elley about the products she uses/recommends and shes great about explaining the techniques she uses to curl my hair at the end. Its just an all around great atmosphere and experience.Whether youre looking to sit back and relax or looking for someone to spill the tea with, this is your place. Low pressure, patient, friendly, and of course, talented!

I have been going to Shae for a few years now and am always happy with my hair every time I leave the salon.Shae keeps my hair healthy and it’s finally growing again by not over processing it with her technique of alternating between doing root coverage and highlighting at my appointments.I love how Shae will go out of her way to work with you on making a appointment, even if she has to work you in for a appointment or if she has to change your existing appointment. She is always professional and just the sweetest!Shae also does my daughters hair and it always looks great too! No one else has been able to get the color right on my daughters hair but Shae.We are very pleased with our experience with Shae and The Black Sheep Salon!

I just had my hair cut and styled by Shyla. It was her second day at this salon and my first time there. The salon is beautiful and comfortable. Shyla provided the best customer service I’ve ever had from a hairstylist. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the process, checked in with me during my cut, and made pleasant conversation. The end result was beautiful. Definitely returning in the near future. Great choice hiring her!

Shae days are my favorite days!! I started going to Shae 2 1/2 years ago due to my hair being so damaged and over processed. Shae has transformed my hair with her knowledge of how to switch off between highlights and/or root cover, as well as the best products to help keep my hair healthy on a daily basis.I have never once waited on my appointment. Shae is always punctual about appointment times!! I also love the way she styles my hair whether it’s a blowout, curls, or a cute pony.Always great conversation, a lot of laughs, and fantastic hair love! If you’re thick haired or have really dark hair this place is not for you! booked a balayage and when I arrived the stylist was super surprised I had thick hair, either way when she was processing me with bleach she put me under a heater (which is very damaging to the hair) my OG stylist always processed me for about two hours so Ik! the stylist I went with was just trying to get it done quick, basically she wasn’t prepared for my hair, which was very unprofessional. and because she placed me under a heater, my hair from the top bleacher white while the bottom stayed orangy. On top of that I DID pay for a balayage and she didn’t even touch the under layers on my hair so when I put it up in a pony tail it’s all brown under. Paid $150 for highlights basically. to this day I hate my hair.

Jessica has been cutting my hair for years now. She always makes it look awesome! I have recommended her to several of my friends and they all get their hair cut by her now too. I’m always impressed by her memory of what is going on in all our lives. Jessica truly cares about her work and her clients.

ELLEY did an amazing cut on my super long hair! I am usually not up for big cuts because I love my long hair, but she took 4-6 inches off and I left there feeling better than ever. I’ve gotten highlights in my hair maybe twice in my life, so I was nervous to get some blonde in. Elley listened to all my concerns and let me know what would work best for my situation. Since I wasn’t up for maintenance she made sure my grow out wouldn’t be noticeable! She was a great conversationalist, yet understood that I was there too relax at the same time so she wasn’t too talkative. I will absolutely be back to visit Elley soon!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my stylist at this salon!! Elley L is seriously amazing with her color skillz. It exceeds my expectation every time! Whether natural colors or some play with fashion colors, she nails it. She uses cruelty free products which is a must for me. The shop is clean, the wash bays are really comfortable, they are all respecting safety Covid guidelines which is a good feeling also. If you don’t already have a keeper stylist, Elley is IT!

AVERY is an excellent stylist she didn’t even really need a picture of what I wanted she knew what to do just by listening to me! My husband and I both love her, we both love our hair and will be back! I highly recommend her! We both are very particular and she tackled our requests with eez.

Black Sheep Salon is the only place I’d recommend friends and family to go to for their hair. Shea is an absolute genius, and always makes my hair look perfect. I’m always getting compliments on my hair from strangers. Even my husband (who had the same hair stylist for 6 years) will now only go to Shae! All of the stylists here are just amazing!!

Very nice and clean. I had about 1 cut off and to touch back up my long layers cost me $45 and that caught me off guard.

Im super annoyed of this salon. I booked an appointment 3 month ago for lash extensions for a friends wedding. I got the confirmation text, and when I showed up at the salon, i waited for almost 10 minutes until someone can help me. they told me that they dont see me on schedule and later on told me my appointment got canceled. What the heck??! At least if you cancel my appointment, let your freaking customers know! I receive no msgs or call about it and apparently there is nothing they can do. If I would have know I would have look for another salon to do my lash extension. I would have get it done before my friends wedding. They just have terrible customer service and I would never go back again. Its just a total waste of my time.

This is a great salon, Hard workers, Very experienced, and well educated. If you are wanting someone to depend on long term Black Sheep is your place. Great location and stylists are always willing to work with your schdule to get u in!

Hated this place, my sister went there for a hair style for her wedding and the girl was late and she did it in a hurry is like if a 8yr old girl was trying to do a hair style. As soon as she finished it (because she did the hair style for 10 min) she got the money and went home. Horrible experience

Moved away, but still make the drive up to see Jessica for my haircuts. I’m a customer as long as she’s in the business. Friendly and knows what to do without me needing to even say a word.
