Love this Nail Salon! This was first time here and I came in for a pedicure and they handed me a menu of multiple different pedicure options ranging from $26-$64. I chose the $36, which includes massage, paraffin hot wax, and sugar scrub. Then I added some crystals to my toes that was additional $5. Tom did an excellent job on my toes. He really took his time with me and made me feel very comfortable and well cared for. I would of given this place 5 ⭐️, but I chose 4 ⭐️ because I didn’t see until after I was done that they don’t accept credit card tips. I wish I would of known that before I came in. I did call before I walked in and asked if they had time to take me in the next 15 minutes and they said no problem. They could of mentioned to me over the phone that they don’t accept credit card tips because then I could of stopped at my bank and pulled cash out. So, if you decide to come here make sure to have enough to tip them.

I went here because of the good reviews I found online. I had a gel manicure and I was actually content when I first saw my nails, I was so disappointed because after almost 2 weeks, 3 of my nails cracked. I went back to the salon, asked the guy that was there why this happened because it never happened to me before. He treated me so bad, he looked at me like I was stupid and he told me that its my fault that the nails cracked. I tried to explain to him that I wouldve known if it wouldve been my fault, and that they are clearly using bad materials to do the nails. He said that he is only going to fix them if I admit that it is my fault. I was surprised then I said ok because there was no point in arguing with him over this. He only fixed 2 of my nails, pretended that he forgot that I got 3 nails cracked, he tried to make me feel bad for not getting a refill instead of fixing the cracked nails then he used acrylic when I specifically asked for gel because acrylic is more toxic for the nails and he asked me to let him do his job if I dont know how to do nails, treating me horribly superior again. The worst part is that one of the nails he fixed, cracked again the same day. For your own good, avoid this place.

I was really looking forward to trying out this new and pretty salon. I walked in and received absolutely zero greeting. I stood at the counter, several technicians looked at me, looked me up and down and then ignored me. I waited for a good 3 min or so and then walked out. They lost a good customer. I get extras, tip well and come back almost weekly for color changes. One place I WONT be going is this salon to spend my money. Common courtesy goes a long way and from the other reviews, it seems I am not the only person that was brushed off.

Visiting from out of town and needed a few repairs and a fill. Eric did a fabulous job at keeping my natural shape. He was very friendly and is extremely talented.

Whenever I look for a nail salon, my #1 concern is sanitation. I decided to go for it after reading their reviews and looking at photos to see if any customers had any cuts or sloppy nail polish on their fingers. They passed.I came here on a Sunday, with my sister-in-law, for a gel mani & pedi. They were very busy but equally as accommodating as we set up a time for us to return. The person who greeted us right away was very friendly and helpful.When we returned, we were seated right away. A+ for my nail job. Neat, even, painless, and super huge BONUS for me is that they didnt use a drill to remove my existing gel polish! They used a nail file, which is more work for them but less damaging for us. (Yes!!!)What sealed the deal for me was that as they were getting ready to close, I saw a lady on her hands and knees, scrubbing the feet of pedicure tub. Everything was so clean, not a speck of dirt on the floor, no nail file shavings on their manicure tables, and it didnt smell like acetone and nail polish. It was a very pleasant experience. And the prices are standard.Also, thanks to the employee for recommending a nail salon closer to home (I live 2 hours away). But whenever Im in the desert, Ill definitely go back to El Paseo Nail Bar, over and over again!!! Highly recommend!

I went here today because I passed by and saw it from the outside and thought it looked very stylish and nice inside. I was not disappointed..i didnt get his name but Im sure he was an owner it was a man that did my nails. This was my first time here..i loved my nails he did the best job ever!!! Just amazing!! I will b back and refer everyone i know, this is my new place!!

Nice looking place, but unclean practices and hurried service. My fiancée and I made appointments here before a wedding last weekend to get mani/pedis. We both left disappointed.The “deluxe” pedicure includes a five minute massage and other extras. The “massage” was basically the equivalent to a little kid applying sunscreen to your skin as fast as they can so they can go swim; not five minutes, no pressure, no relaxation.The woman doing my nails went as fast as she possibly could and never changed her gloves. When it came time for the manicure, she quickly rubbed my arms with lotion, which left a white reside all over me. Honestly, it was probably dead skin from my feet. 🤢I pointed it out and she said nothing.She dipped the top coat brush in the bottle just once to paint all 10 of my nails. It didn’t even cover them. She also had a sealed, sterilized packet of tools, but discretely put them to the side and re-used other ones. I should’ve said something, but I didn’t.I would never go back to this place. I’d rather get a basic pedicure anywhere else.

Just moved to Palm Desert for the next 3 months, and found a place that does amazing work!!!! Everyone is so nice and friendly. Thank you! Especially Jennifer❤❤

She specifically said she wanted an acrylic fill; however, the manicurist took it upon herself to remove all of her acrylic nails and put all new ones on. About 4 weeks ago, she had had a full set put on. The operators sole intention was to charge for the most expensive service. After seeing my coworkers nails I had to ask who did them and where she went! Becky is who I asked to go see, and I don’t regret it she took good care of my nails for me! I would definitely recommend her! She just did a fill in and my acrylic nails looked soooo real! Love love love coming here and I was super happy with the out come also the prices are super decent, for the quality I thought they would up charge but they didn’t! Defiantly coming back, and ask for Becky!

First and LAST time here. I came in for a gel manicure and was greeted by a sweet lady who unfortunately did not understand English too well and cut my nail square when I requested almond. I came here based on the yelp reviews and the only 5 star rating I would give is the aesthetics of the salon. The next girl who agreed to take over my nails was BEYOND RUDE. I believe her name was Becky. She was not friendly and was promptly telling me which color I preferred and rolled her eyes in one instance. Terrible customer service.

I received unacceptable customer service from The El Paseo Nail Bar.I walked in without an appointment and waited just a few minutes. A young man pointed to the chair I was to sit in. I took a seat and he started. No hello or greeting of any sort. He was clearly unhappy to do my pedicure at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday (not closing time). He did not speak to me and only spoke in his language to the other lady doing nails.I chose a gel pedicure – was not given a menu to look at the extras I could choose from. The lady next to me was given one.When it came time to cure the base coat he placed the light dome that cures the polish over my foot and bumped a nail. He had to have felt it bump. I chose not to say anything because he was not speaking to me and I assumed he would not understand. He kept on going with the process then when it came time for the color he bumped my nail again when placing the light over my foot. Then, the light was touching the side of my foot and it was burning. I had to adjust my foot. He got angry I moved and he said something to the lady next to him and she looked at my foot and me then she realized I was watching them talk about me and looked away. I told him it was burning my foot and he did not understand. How can he have a permit to do nails without understanding a client? He said something to the other lady and then she said to me that I am moving and need to hold my foot still. I said it’s burning. Again, they spoke in their language.He started to remove the smudged polish and I spoke up and said you removed the first coat too. The lady who understood me said no it will be ok. I stated no, it won’t, the first coat will be removed when he used the polish remover - I know how to do the gel nails. (I have a professional kit at home and I’m a former hairdresser who knows how to do nails). He then removed all the polish off the one nail and started over. He would not look at me or say anything. I was stunned at the rude behavior and lack of communication.After the polish fix he provided quick and weak massage of my legs and feet. He drained the tub and started to clean up. I lifted up the arm rest. Put on my own shoes and grabbed my purse. Went to the counter to pay. He told me 42 then changed it to 41. I paid cash and left. No thank you, no sorry NOTHING. How rude. How disappointing and unrelaxing.This salon is probably not a place locals frequent – too bad, I’m a year-round local and am looking for a place to get my pedicures on a regular basis. This place is probably used to seeing a person once and that’s it. They can’t stay in business treating people this way. Spreading the word to avoid this place if you wish to be treated nicely.

Horrible quality! Poor service with unfriendly people. My nails started coming off within 2 days and when I called they said they can fix it, they “fixed” it by super glueing the nails down along with getting it all over my nails. Way too overpriced costed as much as two sets of acrylics at other places!
