Professional and knowledgeable. Communicated arrival time and arrived when they said they would. Definitely recommend this service!
I was happy with the service I received. The repairman explained everything that was going on without using a lot of technical terms. It took a little time to properly diagnose the problem because the symptoms pointed to one area (fuse) when there was another area that was problematic (thermostat).I was happy that he took the time to ensure it was correct, rather than leaving and coming back on another appointment. I only wish all service personnel I use were like that.
Excellent service. Technician was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this business!
Feel like I got worked over on their prices. But fixed the control board. Just more than I expected.
The worst business experience I’ve ever had. 64 days in, out ~$400, and I have been provided no parts, service, or phone calls. I can only describe this repair service as a blatant scam.June 5th: Sears tech identifies issue with my appliance. Tells me a part is on a local truck, but is unable to contact that tech. Places an order for the part and schedules a follow up install for June 12th.June 12th: Part never arrived, no one called, service tech never showed up. I had to call after waiting around a couple hours to find out what’s going on. They rescheduled me for July 9th.June 21st: I get charged ~$400 for the work, parts, etc, without anything being done for me.July 9th: I take off work, part never arrives, service tech never shows up, no one called me. I call and they reschedule me again for July 17th.July 17th: Stood up again, no parts, no call.August 7th: Still no parts, still no calls. They will not refund the service tech evaluation fee of about $130 even though they have broken their end of the contract agreement and failed to provide any parts, service, or communication.Do not use SEARS for anything. There is a reason why the company filed for bankruptcy in 2018. It is an absolutely terrible company with broken policies and procedures and if there is any hiccup in providing you service, they will fail you.
The technician was well trained and acted professionally. Vick went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with the services provided. I will always use them.
Horrible experience, they came the first time for diagnosis but now 3 months later no fix
Worst company to deal with. My washier broke, a repairman showed up to fix it. I was quoted a $89 diagnostic fee (non-refundable). He quotes me over $600 for the repair parts being ordered. I paid upfront. The repair man scheduled to come back to finish the repair a week later. No one showed up, no one called me. Apparently, one of my parts was on back order and no one informed me of my appointment being cancelled. When I called, I was informed it was unknown when my part would be mailed to me. I cancelled my repair and was quoted a refund of over $500, the diagnostic fee being non-refundable. A check would be mailed to me in 7-10 business days. No check arrived. I called, my refund was denied and no one told me! Not only that but reason my refund was denied was because my diagnostic fee was now $235 instead of $89!!!! No one called me to tell me that my refund was denied! I had to call 4 different numbers to talk to someone in billing. Now I have to wait another 7-10 business days to receive my refund. Now the question is do I have to get a lawyer involved to get my refund!
It took two different techs and three tries to get it right. That’s not a good start. We will see if this one lasts. The last tech to work on my refrigerator asked to borrow an extension cord and did not give it back. I call you guys to have him call me back and still have not received that call. So does A&E have thieves? It was not a cheap cord and would like to have it back!
This company is the biggest scam in America. We paid for a warranty and got stuck with a “Lemon” dishwasher that has broken 4 times since October of last year. Not only have we had to take off work for those occasions but also now about 6/7 times for a replacement dishwasher that has still yet to be replaced. I feel sorry my wife even had to speak to this company.
Run as fast as you can from this company they are a joke had to have a fridge repaired not once not even twice it is still broke after 2 weeks the first time this company comes out stated of it just needed to be plugged in duh no it didnt it was stated why it was unplugged as it was not working and then proceeds to leave another service call was suppose to be here yesterday for the same problem claims they came by there was a note on my door which there wasnt said they knocked which they didnt as I was home all day and do have a door bell camera said they left a note on the door which they did not called customer service only to be told that yes they did come back out here and that i was lying but my camera doesnt lie hmmmm and that it would be another week before they could come back needless to say I am waiting on a much better company to come and service my fridge
Excellent participation from agent taking call for work order through the end of repairs being completed by technician. Tech was outstanding in the diagnosis, repairing, and insuring there were no other issues of the problem.
I was very pleased with the washer repair I received from Sears Home Services. The repair man was punctual, pleasant and very helpful! The washer was repaired and has been running great since. We even saved some money when he found out it was a different issue than originally believed. It was a great experience, and I will definitely call them again next time.
Our service tech did a top notch job.fixed what we thought was wrong and a couple of things he found that were not functioning correctly. highly recommend .
Everything went great and were waiting for the replacement freezer that will come May 7, 20. However, we filled out the form for the food we lost that came up to around $260.00, actually much more than that and we havent heard anything from you since Apr 3,20.
Mr Paul B was very courteous and respectful. He was one of the most honest technicians I have had the pleasure to work with.
The young man that came to perform yearly maintenance on 6 of my appliances was polite, EARLY, and efficient. He really called me before he came early, to confirm this wasnt inconvenient. The technician was excellent and went out of his way to insure my appliances were running at their peak.
Sears Technician came to the house to check AC window unit that we have in service agreement. He said that the fan was not working and it has to be replace plus it might have other issues. He call in for the fan to be replace. They could not find a fan for replacement and the unit can not be fix. So the unit has to be replace. Technician said call this number and they will take care of it. Call the number and everyone that answer for two days gave me the run around. Finally when I call again some one check everything out and said that the Technician had said that the AC unit was neglected. That it had dust inside the unit, fan was not working with other issues. The technician lied to us, 40 year sears customer. So they are sending technician that would lie and not tell the truth about work orders. The AC unit was service last year with no problems, the unit just stop working. Sears wants you to buy an home agreement, but you risk buying and they do not honor it with lying Technicians. They prefer to loose a 40 year paying customer for maybe $375.00 AC Unit. So for $10 a year X 40 years = 400.00 . Service agreement for 40 years maybe $50,000 to $75,000>. Do the math. Thats why they loose customer and are closing down Sears in the US. Bad business. Disappointed customer.JR-Fayetteville
Aside from the fact that it took more than a month to have a repairman visit...I was very pleased with the fellow who actually fixed the washer. When he arrived he found that the wrong part had been sent to me so he arranged to go and pick up the correct one and came back at 700 p.m. to install it. I was very grateful. He then had to travel over an hour to get to his home that night. He deserves a medal!!!!
Provided locations to fix lawn equipment, great service.
My mother bought a washer and dryer set from Sears, they delivered it and set them up for her and they did a very good job. They were quick and we didnt have any problems.
Microwave kept arcing. We diagnosed the problem and told the tech what part to order/bring. He did so and installed it within 5 minutes. Our bill was well over $230.00 dollars for a $30.00 part. The poor tech who was so nice and bless his heart couldnt help what the bill was couldnt do anything even though they charged us a diagnostic fee when they didnt have to diagnose anything and a huge labor fee for 5 minutes! Do not use Sears Appliance Repair. That is the very last time anyone in my neighborhood will call them as I have shared my experience and they are toast.
The technician arrived right on time, was very friendly, and completed the service in a timely manner. The reason for four stars instead of five is because he arrived in a Dish Network truck wearing a Dish uniform. As I had just spoken to Dish the previous day about a television issue that was resolved by phone, it was rather disconcerting to have a Dish technician show up to service our washer and dryer! Had I been home by myself, I probably wouldnt have let him in the house since I was expecting someone from Sears. Come on, Sears, let people know ahead of time when you send someone that is not in one of your trucks!
I love the technician. He showed up on time, and called before arriving, giving me time to prepare. But, the Warranty Department sucks.I purchased a home warranty and I am suppose to contact the warranty department to schedule any repairs or maintenance. But you cannot get through to anyone, and when you do, they dont know and have to transfer the call. So, I go online and book an appointment. This way is the self pay way. When I informed the tech worker that I had a home warranty, he tried to call. Same thing...he couldnt seem to find anyone to assist him. We laughed together, but it wasnt really funny, just making the best of a miserable time.Long story short, YES, the tech corrected my problem. I will call SEARS again, as they seem to be the best in appliance repair. But I will NOT renew my home warranty.
My yard tractor (riding lawn mower) appointment was scheduled for between 8am and 5pm, and the service-person called at 8am to say he was on the way. The tech arrived with a clean uniform and even a fresh hair cut (surprising), he went right to work and although his service van didnt have the spark plug needed to replace mine, he quickly drove to the auto parts store and purchased one and completed the job. The tech did an excellent job and pointed out the need to lubricate the wheel bearings throughout the seasonal use...this had not been pointed out to me before. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service I received. Thanks Sears.
Technician came to repair. He was on time and courteous. He quickly determined the problem and began the arduous task of attempting to repair. He thought he had the part on his truck but after he discovered his satellite wasnt working and after numerous calls discovered he did not have the part and so scheduled a repeat appointment and ordered the part to be delivered to my door step. Next appointment available was a week later. It was not the best time for me as I was expecting 14 people at my home for a week as our son was graduating. On Monday our appointment was scheduled between 0800-1200. At 1000 I called to check on the technician. I was told there was no appointment scheduled and that the next available appointment would be Thursday between 0800-1200. After stating this was unacceptable and requesting a technician be dispatched to perform the repair, I was placed on hold to be transferred. After 25 min on the phone a service person answered but didnt know who I was or why I was transferred. When I started to explain, the call was disconnected. At that point I was furious and began the entire call over again. I then handed the phone over to my husband who completed the call with a new service representative. The end result was that they placed us on an emergency list and if someone cancelled they would come out to do my repair. Of course, there was no service technician dispatched until Thursday for our newly scheduled appointment. So, for an entire week, I was left dealing with the dishes for 14 plus people without a functioning dishwasher. Again, the same technician came out on Thursday and completed the repair. He was punctual, courteous and very apologetic about the whole situation. The dishwasher was repaired successfully. I am hesitant to ever use Sears service again.
The technician was very professional and very thorough. He ran a full diagnosis of the washer before start, ensuring that the ordered part was the correct one. He called for assistance due to the complicated repair. Overall, we are very pleased for the service provided.
We usually have a great experience with Sears, but today was not one of those days. We had our microwave repaired on July 19th, for the second time. The tech was great. He replaced the entire panel and ensured that we will not have anymore issues with the microwave no time soon. The next day, the microwave light would not turn off with the door closed. We had to regroove the door just for it to go out so we could use it. The second time I called, I was told by Michael that the tech had not filed the report yet, so I would have to call back in 24 hours. I called back, was on hold 10 min. I called again today and was absolutely disrespected! The lady I spoke with said I would have to pay a deductible for a new issue, which I was not comfortable with. Unfortunately, I could barely understand what she was saying and I think thats when she began to get frustrated. I tried to explain my issue with the deductible, but she became rude and talked over me. I told her I did not want the appointment but she scheduled it anyway. I asked to be transferred, she said yes, yet hung up on me. I called back and the next guy kept laughing as if my concerns were not important and explained the same thing the first lady said. But, kept saying I would have to pay. It felt as if neither rep was listening, but was more concerned with getting me off of the phone. I called back again and the last guy did an amazing job with fully explaining the deductible and same issue guidelines. I was also able to fully understand what he was saying, which made it more simple to help resolve this issue.
Its been hard to find good technicians from sears. Donald is eager, and very customer orientated. My lawn tractor needed several parts. Donald was careful to answer all my questions, and by the end of the service call I was completely satisfied of the work performed...very professional.
Knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate technician. I was glad he anticipated the parts that would be needed for the repair accurately. I was also glad the appliance is now good as new.
The tech showed up on time and went to work on checking out the refrigerator and freezer. He observed where the freezer had run a defrost cycle he checked the coils and ran some diagnostics and did a reset. By the time he was finished there was cooling. I was advised to observe for several days and call if there were anymore problems. He was very professional and explained all his steps he took to resolve the problem.
After waiting for parts and repairman for a couple of weeks, my refrigerator/freezer had held up at half power. The repairman came and replaced with the new parts. Said give it 24hrs and it would be good to go. That same night I noticed things inside both were getting warm. Called Sears and they said they couldnt do anything for 24 hrs. Called back at noon the next day and told them it wasnt freezing or cooling at all, and emitting a foul chemical type of odor. They said they could have a repairman come out a week later at the earliest. It is day 4 with no refrigerator/freezer. Lost all my food and no cold water or ice. Very disappointed for the lack of caring showed this time even after I stressed concern over the foul chemical odor being emitted. So I unplugged it to keep my family from breathing in more of the foul odor. We will see what happens when the repairman comes out this Wednesday. SMH!!!
Technician arrived on time and resolved dishwasher issue. Would have rated 4 stars; however, only received payment receipt - never received an itemized bill.
I use Sears to maintain my riding mower, which happens to be about 10 years old. They do a great job every year. Its still running like new.
From the phone calls at Sears Central to the approach of Kim, your contractor, the experience was opposite any expectation of a nightmare -- My situation had seemed slightly desperate at the outset, but everyone put me at ease, so that my memory is of a pleasant and satisfying, old-fashioned encounter -- my questions about cause were answered not only politely, but educationally. Costs were delineated early, and then again while ticket was written.Bravo Sears!
I received a prompt, efficient gas oven range repair from Sears. I would highly recommend Sears as the place to go for appliance repair.
I was flooded with automated messages and my initial appointment was rescheduled for an unknown reason. The technician did arrive as resheduled and was nice. However, he did not repair my ice maker and charged me $219 for labor when I went around and turned water valves on and off. He took the ice maker out of the freezer, looked it over and claimed it was in good shape. The extent of the work was me turning the valves and I was charged that much for labor on a free diagnostic. This for an hour of work in which there was no positive result is highway robbery. I asked many questions and was assured that my unit was going to be good to go. I feel ripped off and disappointed by the repair.Update- A few days later another Sears technician fixed the ice maker. It was simply the on/off lever had been bent was no longer toggling the system. It has worked well since the second service.
Purchased the Master Protection agreement on my refrigerator. Between May to Aug I’ve had 5 visits with no results. The technician at my home August 1st completely rendered my refrigerator and freezer unusable. The technician was attempting to pressure test the coolant lines and applied to much pressure rupturing the line within a closed portion of the refrigerator that cannot be serviced. I lost all the food in my fridge and freezer, while they gave me $300 for a good loss claim that doesn’t begin to touch the amount lost. That check supposedly was cut a week ago and I’ve yet to see it. Additionally I was given $115 for a mini fridge and told it would take 3-5 business days just for sears to give me an amount that they’ll pay towards my new unit... 3 business days later I’m told I have to wait till next week but that it was approved immediately they just haven’t got to my case. Also, even once I find out what they’ll offer me towards the unit I’ll have to wait another week or so to actually receive it.... BUT they don’t care Whirlpool/Kitchenaid appliances so even though the warranty states a compareable product, I won’t be getting that either. Meanwhile I’m sitting here with no fridge/freezer for my family and with no way to escalate. Sears appliance repair doesn’t care about their customers even when their technicians damage their appliances.
My top of the line Kenmore Refrigerator has been dead for nearly two weeks. It took 4 days to get the first appointment and I was told that a part need to be purchased. It was supposed to be delivered to my house the day before the next appointment. Here we are, on a Friday, and the part has not been delivered. I called customer service, which is located in India, and spoke to several people which were not really in command of the English language - end of story, the next appointment is next week Tuesday! NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL!!!!!WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!
The A&E technician Phillip was just the best! I would have him fix everything and anything! He disassembled the machine entirely, found additional parts that were worn, replaced them all, turned a 2 hour job into a 5 hour job just to make sure my things worked. Knowledgable and thorough, thanks Phil!
Excellent. Very good serviceman. Diagnosed problem immediately. Didnt have part on truck but was able to get it within 20 minutes. Washing machine is working great now!
Very satisfying experience with the seviceman personality and helpfulness. Each service person went beyond the general call of duty to correct or prevent any problem. However, I am finding that my washer is still not washing properly and now the dryer does not dry thoroughly. I had to ask for a second repair.
Two tech showed up on time. They were professional and explained the problem and how I could help prevent it from happening again. Machine has worked fine ever since.
No show without callingConstant delays due to not having the model information I had providedActed like they were doing me a favor by rescheduling for days later.
We are thankful we have a service agreement. We paid $266 for the agreement and the repairs cost more than $350. Our repairman was friendly and competent, an excellent representative for Sears. We would not hesitate to recommend SAR to anyone.
First of all, the repairman looked like a vagrant. He was scary. He repaired the lawn mower fine. No issues.I paid him in cash as I was leary of him having my checking/credit card account information.Thank goodness I kept the receipt as now I received a bill from Sears for the same amount I paid him.I will NEVER use Sears Service again. Either the repairman and/or bookkeepers are unprofessional. I will also share this experience with all my military and civilian friends and coworkers .
My repairman was on time and professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He called and let us know his approximate arrival time. He completed the annual inspection and service on the washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Very good service.
Great service on the lawn mower. The repairs were done and the tech found a problem which contributed to why the deck was not level and promptly fixed it. Rides like a champ.
The technician that worked on my garage door is very well qualified, courteous, and represent Sears Appliance Repair in a very professional manner. The Company should be very proud to have him in their employ!
Technician was very polite and very good at his job. He gave us a feeling of trust.
Tech was awesome, figured out the issue with in ten min and was complete in less than an hour. Highly recommend sears repair and especially the tech who came to our home.
Moores Appliance Repair, who was contracted through Sears to perform the repair on my LG Dryer was definitely 5 Stars! Showed up on time, knew exactly what they were doing, diagnosed the issue, ordered the correct parts the FIRST time and repaired the dryer without a hitch.
I was impressed by the technician that came out in response to my service request. Unlike some service providers I have dealt with, this individual took the time to not only explain what the problem was with my washer, but also made me aware of some problems people have had with previous models of my item.I was not impressed, however, with the fact that my washer was delivered and setup by individuals who apparently did not know or were not trained on the fact that the power cord for the motor had to be connected, before the agitator would function like it was supposed to.
The technician was was professional and communicated with me honestly. I would recommend this service.
Very pleased. Technician used good judgement and made repair that quickly and inexpensively made the tractor do what I need it to do and saved us several hundred dollars. Thanks
This was the best Techniken you ever have sent out. Thanks to his knowledge and expertise I might not have to call a Techniken in the future.he gave the best advise on how to prevent problems in the first place. That is how all of them should be trained....but only this one did his job right.
Repair was done correctly. Waiting for service on the scheduled day was horrendous. Arrived at 2 pm, with a window of 8-Noon originally scheduled. The labor charges for a five minute repair were also horrendous. Paid $211 for labor. Part was $89. Will not use again.
Tech called prior to arrival, diagnosed the issue quickly, repaired and was on his way within 45 minutes of arrival.Very knowledgeable and professional
This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a repair. My washer was reading a TE error code. I knew exactly what needed to be checked and/or replaced. My 8-12 appointment (which took a week and a half to even get) with a technician was ignored and a guy finally showed up after 5 that evening. He told me I needed two parts replaced. THEN he tells me that there is a mandatory fee of $90 just for him showing up and another fee for labor (he hadnt done anything yet). Not only that but that I would have to wait an additional week and a half for him to come back and replace the parts. Finally, after 3 weeks of waiting for my washer to be fixed, a technician shows up on time and then tells me that I didnt even need anything replaced! There was a loose wire that just needed to be put back into place... I was able to get the money back for the parts, however because I had already paid the first time for the diagnosis and labor, I was down about $300 total for almost 2 weeks without a washer for NO reason. The first technician was up there for an hour! Turns out he didnt even move the washer to actually look at the parts to begin with.. He guessed. Extremely inconvenient. Total lack of respect for customers time. Unprofessional. AND expensive! Next time I need a new appliance Ill be heading to Lowes...
The repairs were made quickly, effectively, and with cost in mind. We appreciated Kurts timeliness and professionalism. We now have ice!!! Yay!
I was charged $420.00 for icemaker repairs, and my ice maker is still not working. I am not sure if the Technician diagnoses my refrigerator properly, however, it seems he took the easy and most expensive route by replacing the ice maker, and it still does not work.I am not happy
Purchased a new refrigerator for a rental property. It worked for one day, then nothing. Sears first available appointment was 8 days out. When they diagnosed the refrigerator, the tenant was told it would take 11 days to recieve the part. Ive tried to call the local branch who serviced the unit but only get a call center in the Philippines. Very frustrating...
The two guys that came out work very hard and on a timely manner to see that my mower was put back to gather right and so far I am very pleased that Sears.
Technician was skilled, explained clearly, repaired appliance in resonance time, good communicator. Just took too long to get scheduled and schedule return. From first call until now, took 3-4 weeks.
On Tuesday, Sears Appliance Repair will have been at my house for the THIRD time in three weeks...for the same repair. The repair person was asked to fix a leak which prevented the ice machine from working. He fixed the leak, but the ice machine never produced ice. Additionally, he was extremely insistent that I purchase a $50/month warranty because it would be less expensive than the $200 repair; he was put off that I didnt agree with his math. During the second visit, the same repairman insisted the ice machine wasnt working because it was off... It was off because we were tired of hearing it running. Once we pushed further, he admitted he forgot to turn on a water valve. Well, water valve and ice machine are on, but still no ice.
Excellent service, technician (Phillip) was very professional and a subject matter expert on the appliances. Phillip represented Sears Appliance Repair with distinction and honor.
I call them they showed up, but did not complete the Refrigerator. Second, they didnt fixed I call them and they did not showed up when the caller said the dispatcher said hell arrived( 3x calling that day they said the same thing . Didnt receive no phone call or notification after numerous time of me contacting them and the company. Third time my schedule was reschedule without notifying me of the reschedule. In other words I lost $127 of no repair to my refrigerator. Horrible experience. * DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THERE WARRANTY * * HUGE MISTAKE *
Looking for assistance at local Fayetteville, NC store but you cant get assistance because phones are re-routed to call center who doesnt have ability to help or answer all questions. If I wanted the call center, i would not call the local store.
Service Tech was very knowledgeable, very polite, and very careful handling the appliance to make sure no damage was done to walls or floor. Excellent service!
The Sears technician Mr. Hassel, who performed this service is a VERY knowledgeable in regards to his work. Great job.
Sears guy was really nice and seems to have fixed problem. Apparently the springs wereCorrectly aligned and they were the wrong ones which should have been caught at the factory or at sears or at last years maintenance as Ive complained about the same issue since getting the washer in 2014
Service tech on time and did it in a professional way Thanks!
OUR DRYER WAS REPAIRED IN AN EFFICIENT MANNER BY YOU KNOWLEDGEABLE TECHNICIANS.VERY SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS
I was very disappointed with my service tech. The guy showed up to service my tractor without blades or filters and still wanted to charge me over $200. He went to purchases the equipment and his company charge card was declined so he asked me to come and purchase the items for him. I called the store and they give me the run around about it and wanted me to reschedule in 3 weeks. Very disappointed....I will never waste my time again.
First tech that show up was the wrong tech to make the repairs however, he got on the phone and call sears. New tech showed up in a hour. Both were very friendly and knowledgeable.
Great experience. Good customercare service. Arrived on time& was informative.
Great experience. My technician was professional, personable and proficient in his work.
Over priced, over 260 dollars for labor for a 15 min job. Find somewhere else.Samsung washer 4 suspenion rod replacement
Did a great job. Repairman was polite and worked quickly to fix the issue.
Save your time and money this place is going down fast
The service was bad. The technician did not complete the repair and when called to come back, never returned phone calls or came back to fix the issue. Horrible service!
It was a great service fron technician. I even learned something new. Thank you
THE SERVICE REP, WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND NEAT. HE REPAIRED MY DRYER, AND CLEANED THE WORK AREA.
The young man was polite an efficient..he fixed the freezer..very pleased..
He was very courteous nice and took care of the problem quick GREAT MAN
Horrible customer service. I book the repair service on their website because they were offering 20% on any in-home repair. On their website, there were a big button saying book online right below SAVE 20%. So Ive clicked it, made a reservation, and serviceman came out to my house and fix my laundry dryer. After I paid him and repairman left, I realized that I did not received 20% discount as it advertised on their website. So I called the repairman back and asking him to comeback so he can cancel my previous paid amount and run me a proper 20% off price. And he told me over the phone, in order to receive the discount, I had to print out the coupon and present it to the repairman on the spot. He said once he run the check, he can not re do it so he advised me to contact the customer service to receive the money back. So I called the number on the receipt he left me, (which is a local sears home service) and explained what happened all over again and their answer was I had to printed out the coupon and had to present it to the repairman on the spot. Sears made this advertisement page so poorly. They made it to look like discount will automatically apply when customer book the service online clicking the book online button which is located right below save 20%. I went back and check the page and on the right side of the page, on the description, it is saying present this coupon to receive discount but most of the customers like me, who use website reservations a lot, will think that is for the people who call in the reservation, not for the customers who will book in online using the button which is locating right below 20% discount book online. And in these days, who makes website that discount does not automatically apply? Anyway, manager from the local sears home service told me that he is going to contact the customer service and see if he can get me a money back. He told me they will contact me within 24-48 hours but it had been about 2 weeks that I have not heard anything from them. And about an week ago, I called sears home service 1-800 to check the status, and representative told me that she is sorry that it had been a week and she will make a note to the customer service again so they can contact me soon as possible... but no news until now. It is not about the money, I will not use them again. They showed me a horrible customer service.
Fixed it in record time. works like new again
I have called to sveral times to have my micowave repaired,it seems the tech representive cannot find the issue, i will never recommend or any appliances or purchase extended warranty from sears, sears representive never called me to solve this issue,
Techs were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Had us up and running in less than 30 minutes.
Tech arrived at schedule time. Resolved problem on second trip after ordering a part. Am satisfied.
The Serviceman did a great job! VERY EFFICIENT!
Had a technician come over home and after a charge of +$300, the refrigerator still not working
Very dissatisfied with your service. I called you 7/13/16 for service for my Samsung refrigerator. RSG257AARS/XAA. Problem, the freezer side was not working but the refrigerator side was working. 7/18/16 you came in, measured the tempewrature of the refrigerator, then the freezer. Your rolled out the refrigerator to get to the back and remove service panel. Then you called for technical to support and they talked you through taking voltage checks at different points. after a few minutes, you restored the service panel and rolled the unit back in place. The you said we need a part step motor $106.63 and you would have to order it. when it come to us, we have to call and schedule for tecninican to come out and install the part. Charged @282.47 minus the $179.27 in paid and a balance of $103.20 due when they installed the part. 7/29/16 they technician came out, rolled out the refrigerator, remove the service panel and installed a portion of the new part (stepping motor), said he only needed the solenoid part? he closed it up rolled it back in place and said it will take 24 hours for it to be functional. That dont make any sense. anyway I had to pay him $173.82 which was not the $103.20 i was quoted. This did not fix or change the problem in any way. The unit is still the same. Of course we had to call in for service e again scheduled for 8/8/16. I assure you, i have every intension to get the service I was charged for and a refund for a part not needed. Very poor service and follow up. Alvin Keller
Sears repair service were very fast to service my unit in a profellional manner
I am not one to normally add negative reviews. But, you asked so here goes. I am very unhappy. I paid $800 for an extended warranty. Thats quite a chunk of change. So I expect superior service. What I got instead is second rate service at best. It took you a month to fix my refrigerator. That is unacceptable by any standard. I ended up buying a second smaller refrigerator just to keep something cold to drink in the house. What took so long? I was told repeatedly that the system is down. Really? I thought you were leaders in your industry. Where is your backup? Where is your contingency? Then when you finally diagnosed and shipped in the part, it was still another 1 1/2 weeks after the part arrived before you showed up to install it. So, on top of the cost of my warranty, I had to purchase a second dormitory-sized refrigerator just to get by, I ate out quite a bit, I took off work to be there for when you showed and said you fixed it but didnt, I spent countless times on the phone trying to get you to come out only to be told the system is down and I still have to get my hardwood floors repaired from the water damage. Really? The system is down? Why not just pick up the phone and call the repair guys? That went on for days. I used to brag on Sears. Now, Im just sorely disappointed. I dare say, you will be hard pressed to get me to purchase another extended warranty. I have spent literally thousands and thousands of dollars in your stores over the years. You were my go-to. Ive been a very loyal customer. I cant say that will continue. A leader in your industry? Not with service like that. To top it off, now the refrigerator has a loud hum that I can hear all the way to my bedroom! You got two stars only because you did eventually fix it (minus the loud hum). Sorely disappointed and disgruntled.
Very courteous, answered all my questions about the product.
Prompt, courteous, protected floors, knew what he was doing, explained it to us with demo, problem fixed.
