Travis came out and looked at the system and suggested that we replace it. They were very professional and replaced the system the very next day. I couldnt be happier with the service and the system. This company will rip you off. They will install old equipment and will not honor the warranty. This is the letter I received from the owner himself, John Blackwell. This company installed a compensation pump dated 4/2018. I had my suppose to benew AC UNIT installed August 2020. Its under the review named Ughhjaden.

The evening my AC went out I called a friend who highly recommended Blackwell’s Heating and Air . When I called, John the owner spoke to me and within 30min the serviceman and John, showed up to my door. They took their time to make sure I completely understand the total problems I’m facing and why all the patch work of the year didn’t hold. FYI, I have been repairing the Hvac and Furnace for about 20years. That month before my HVAC went out my electric bill was over $550. Honest, dependable and quality workmanship. Performed work/replacement of a geothermal system for me at a rental house. I live several hours away but they made the process as painless as possible. They were patient and did research into several options for me. Work was completed in a timely manner and I would highly recommend.

Haven’t had a chance to deal with the company itself, but the answering service is awful. The first time I called the young lady hung up on me when I was saying hello, hello, can you hear me? I was asking her this because I could not understand what she said when she said her name.When she reviewed my info, I informed her she misspelled my last name, after that she either held the phone, ignored me, or waited for me to hang up, I hung up after saying hello, hello with no response. I could hear the recording beeps,, so I know she was on the line. I stated I hope the company is not as bad as the answering service, first impressions are lasting. Yes, it’s after hours, but this is the job she chose. I’m going to wait and see if I get a response for service, meaning will she give them my info.Well it’s 2021, and I chose Blackwell Heating and Air for my service provider. First, let’s start at the front line, that would be Lena!! She is the sweetest person EVER!! Thanks Lena for all that you have done!! Next, the installation guys, knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. Mr. Blackwell listens to you and he will really take care of your needs, he will also find the best system for you and if he sends Andy, he will help you choose which system will be best for your home and your pocket. They were professional, respectful and hard working! They had to take out my old unit from the attic piece by piece and they were drenched but worked through the day until they were done. I was very impressed! I would hire them again in an instant and highly recommend them. Recently had our HVAC system replaced and couldn’t find a finer group of hard working guys for the installation than Blackwell Heating and Air! They even gave their Saturday as part of the job. They were on time every morning for the job, very thorough in what they were doing, and always communicating with me through the process. They had to do some extensive work in one of my rooms and together with John Blackwell, the owner, we came to the best solution possible for my home. Where to begin... New HVAC system installed for company visiting in bonus room. Wasn’t complete after a week and yes, company arrived. Holes in Sheetrock left. Took almost 3 weeks to finish. DON’T buy from Blackwell is all I have to say!!!!

Great staff, great technicians, I have not had a problem with my heating and HVAC units since Blackwell Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. been hired. I have the seasonal maintenance package and its always good to hear that my units are good to go for the either winter or summer, after inspection and service. It would be nice to see Mr. Blackwell stop by on some of the home services/inspection. Great company-great service. I would recommend them to others; and I will use them again on my next home purchase.

Blackwell Heating &Air is a great company, they are always on time, courteous, friendly and so good about wearing shoe covers when they enter the house as to not get the floors dirty. They have serviced our unit for 18 years spring and fall, made repairs when necessary and when we need a new unit we fully trust them to do it..They are so very friendly hard working men.

Im very pleased with the services I received from Blackwell Heating and Air. My AC went out at night and I called first thing in the morning and they sent someone out within a few hours. Unfortunately, it cost so much to repair that I opted to replace it. The owner, John Blackwell, came out the next day and I feel he gave me a very fair price and even had his people come back to refill the freon so that we wouldnt have to suffer in the heat until they could come back and install a new unit. The installers were professional, fast and very neat. They put tarps on the floor on every inch they had to walk to avoid messing up my carpet and floors. This is the 2nd unit I have purchased from this company (one for another house about 10 years ago) and I highly recommend them.

Install was a disaster from the start! Took over three weeks to get HVAC running PROPERLY! Numerous appointments to attempt to get it running and at end of three weeks was install crews faulty install. Salesman was MIA after install and ghosted me the weeks following problems. Owner is rude and pompous. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere!!!!

Highly disappointed with Blackwell Heating & Air. My mom used this company to put in a new system a few years ago. The system is under warranty til 2025. Her air went out and she called to get it fixed...contacted the warranty company and they told her to call the installer to replace the compressor (under warranty through 2025). Blackwell Heating & Air. She called, a tech came out, went back to the office to look up her warranty, then the office calls her back to say they wont honor the warranty with no reason. Im so mad I would give them a negative number for this, but there are no negative stars available. Blackwell wanted to charge her for a replace compressor, but she contacted someone else and paid almost a third of what Blackwell wanted for a new compressor. The warranty is American Standard through Trane. I personally will never use Blackwell Heating & Air.

We have had Blackwell H&A install a new HVAC system for our rental property and have them service the HVAC on our main residence. Our experience with them has been outstanding. Weve had to call on Blackwell several times, from the addition of a new HVAC unit, to replacing a capacitor quickly in this scorching summer heat (came out next morning to fix it), to doing an after hour diagnostic check. Mr. Blackwell and his crews are the most curtious and friendliest team.We got a new unit jan of 2016 and Mr. Blackwell himself came out and explained everything in detail and answered all questions. His crew was here the next day and installed it. They very very professional and did it in a timely manner.He reminds me of the old school days when a handshake was honorable.They are always on time and the girls in the office are easy to talk to and know their stuff.I would recommend them to anyone that wants good service and will bend over backwards to help you. Not really interested in the unit he was offering though the Technician was straight forward, informative and decent. Mentioned my ducting was well, what he would include all for the price. Although I will not likely go with this installer I would say my experience was very good. I learned a lot about my HVAC system from him.

During hurricane Mathew our HVAC system was damaged, we called Blackwell heating and air to look at our system. They were very prompt in responding to our request. Mr. Blackwell was awesome he gave us detailed information on different units and helped us pick out the right one for our house. They had a new HVAC system installed at our home within 3 days. We have subsequently used them to purchase and install a new HVAC system at a rental property. In our opinion they gave us great customer service and we highly recommend them to anyone needed service or looking to get a new HVAC system.

Our original 22 year old HVAC unit finally died. We talked with several companies and went with Blackwell. They were not the lowest, although certainly more than reasonable, but David came out went through everything and showed us exactly what problems we had to deal with to come up to code and lower electric bills. The crew came out when scheduled, worked quickly and efficiently, found a surprise issue that James showed us and simply took care of, and worked into the evening to finish the job in one day. The entire experience couldnt have been more professional - in a time when customer service is waning, Blackwell still provides it. Two weeks later, a friend had the same problem, called Blackwell and is equally pleased with her experience. They are simply the best choice to make for HVAC.
