Had an issue with one of the nail techs. The owner, Tiffany and sweet guy at front desk resolved it for me thoroughly. Tiffany truly cares about her clients!

First time getting my eyelashes done and I am hooked! Im in love with how they look! Tiffany definitely rocked it! She even gave a complimentary free eyebrow wax with the service!

I have been here twice now and will forever come here. Ruby has taken such good care of my hand and feet nails. She did such an exceptional job the first experience I requested her a second time. Even after she has finished cutting the cuticles she continues to go back and fix any spots that might pop up throughout the entire process to ensure they are perfect. She files my nails down exactly how I want them without making them too short as I am trying to grow them out. She coats the gel manicure perfectly all the way around where it last for about 2-3 weeks in perfect condition. They are extremely sanitary, and I love that it is by appt only so you know exactly when your time is and don’t have to wait long when arriving. I highly recommend this salon, and will be back time and time again. I look forward to trying more of their services. I also love how easy it is to book your appointment online.

Decided to try a new place. US Nails came highly recommended but I was not impressed. I had a pedicure and the lady who did mine asked me 4 times what kind I wanted then had the lady next to her ask me twice. It felt like they were trying to get me to upgrade because I just wanted a basic pedicure. For the most part it was not a pleasant experience. It was painful. She cut me twice. One bled a good bit and if that wasnt bad enough, the paint job was terrible.

The best experience I had here was a dermaplaning facial. The woman who gave it was actually very nice and I really enjoyed how my skin looked and felt afterwards. She deserved five stars.But the front desk lady is usually snippy and unhelpful. Anytime Ive asked her questions she responds with an attitude. Im sure there are multiple receptionists, but I usually get the same one.I also understand the cancellation policy helps keep them in business, but I had to cancel this past week because I found out I have coronavirus. To keep everyone safe, Im quarantined. I found out on the day my appointment was. I tried contacting them for hours but they only picked up immediately before my appointment. I was charged $22 for a nail appointment I couldnt even make.A couple months earlier I had tried canceling my appointment days in advance but no one picked up the phone, and for that one I was charged $40 which doesnt make any sense.Since Ive only ever got my nails done twice there, Ive almost spent just as much on cancellation fees as getting my nails done. Its just really expensive.And on top of all of that, Ive only got my nails done twice like I said, the first time my nails chipped after 2 days. And this time, my nails lasted nearly 2 weeks, but the nail tech had gotten nail polish all over my finger and did nothing about it even after I pointed it out.Im going to have to start going somewhere else.

I come here to get my nails done as a treat to myself and I always leave happy. Vincent is the salon manager and he always greats me with a happy tone and when I am leaving he asks me if I like them and always takes a look at my nails. The nail techs are always very nice and respectful and if I dont like something on my nails they never hesitate to fix it. The salon is very clean and aesthetically pleasing and masks are worn by everyone. 10/10 recommend coming here if you want to pamper yourself.

US Nails has instituted Covid protocols that include working by appointment only.I go to US Nails to get my nails done on occasion. I love their salon, nail techs, and the work they do so I was excited to find out that they have expanded to provide more services to clients.I made an appointment online (which was extremely easy) for a brow lamination and a lash lift/tint (which when booked as a package knocks like 30$ off.)I went in at 1pm sharp and was promptly and courteously checked in by the young man at the counter.I didn’t even have time to sit down and wait before Angela came out and welcomed me to follow her to the procedure room.The entire salon is clean and well decorated and the procedure room was equally well appointed.Angela and I discussed what I wanted done and I asked her if she could also tint my brows while laminating them. She informed me that the brow lamination included a brow wax, shaping, AND tint, which was a delightful surprise.After that, I laid down on the table, popped in my earbuds, and Angela went to work on my brows first.As she was working, I kept noticing how meticulous she was. She was constantly making small adjustments and it seemed to me that she was being extra thoughtful with what she was doing.Angela’s technique was flawless. She has a gentle hand but didn’t seem to struggle with any aspect of what she was doing. No constant repositioning of pads or constant wiping. No shaking hands or nails pinching my skin while she worked. I was also delighted that I had NO stinging eyes during the lash lift and afterward, NO tint smeared at my lash line. (I’ve experienced all the above at one time or another while getting lash extensions or lash lifts/tints from others in the past.)Laying there, I kept thinking, “this woman KNOWS her business.”And I was right. She DOES know her business. She WAS meticulous in her detail. And the results are nothing short of wizardry.She took my sparse, ill-shaped brows and made them FULL and shapely but still natural. My lashes look long and full. The curl shape she chose for me make my eyes look bright and warm...like I’m “smiling with my eyes.”This morning I woke up to perfectly manicured brows and curled, full lashes, every bit as perfect as when I left yesterday. It was like waking up with perfectly micro-bladed brows and curled, perfectly mascaraed lashes.I’ve made 4 stops today. The coffee shop, the gas station, Safeway, and then work. Everyplace I have gone, I have been told that “I look pretty today” or that “I have really pretty eyes”. And I’m not wearing a stitch of makeup. Just...WOW.Needless to say, I will never go to anyone else for my lash/brow needs.I will also be booking a facial with Angela this week as I have a strong suspicion that she will be equally attentive with my skin as she was with my brows and lashes.Thank you, Angela. And thank you US Nails for expanding your services and hiring such talented people. I hope to see you all soon.

First time coming here. The atmosphere was nice and felt clean. My nail tech drilled me to get gel (I always get gel anyways) but he definitely pressured it so that was uncomfortable. He wouldnt work with me too much on figuring out a color of my Acrylic set. When I asked about different colors he was slightly impatient. I asked for coffin nails and they look square. I asked him to file to get the shape better but he just filed straight along the edge and gave me narrow nails compared to my nail bed. When I left to go sit with my friend getting her nails done she asked if I liked them and I said theyre okay but the tips are rough and sharp the tech working on her told the receptionist and he came to see how he could help (which was nice). He said because I had sparkles the sparkles stick out on the tip and leave it feeling rough; he then went on to file my nail (after its been painted) gently, and said this is how you fix it. My nail tech originally didnt even brush the tip with a clear coat and also left the underside filings still attached to the nail. Having my nails filed after theyve been painted compromises the integrity of the nail as well as leaves it feeling unfinished. Paying almost $60 for acrylic nails with gel polish feels a bit much when the quality of work isnt there. Im not satisfied with my nails but Im sure there are better techs.

By far the best place in town to get your nails done! Theyre a little pricer than other places on certain services but the attention to detail, relaxing atmosphere, awesome customer service and fantastic nails are worth every penny! If you love getting your nails done, try US NAILS! I promise you wont be sorry :)

Overrated and Overpriced.First time receiving services here. The initial impression was clean and modern which I appreciated/enjoyed. However, the receptionist was rude and short. The employees were lifeless no smiles, just robotic. My nail tech was offensive and irritable. When I received my pedicure he took a 5 minute break and came back smelling of smoke. When providing a service in my opinion it is best to keep conversations neutral and maybe not smoke when you are touching peoples feet/hands. My nails were mediocre. So disappointing :(

I loved the shape of the nail. It was the lack of communication that was critical in my experience. Sure, I was trying to decide between two different styles, but it was lost in translation when we were applying the colors.

Omg, the worst place Ive ever been to!!! I dont see a button on here to post the picture of my poorly and sadly done nails but let me tell you...First of all, manicure lasted less than 5 minutes for both hands. It was done so bad that when they put the nail polish it was completely uneven on my nails.You could see layers and waves and I could have done a thousand times better job than they did. After I stated that I dont like them the manager came and instead of talking to me she was talking on another language with the lady who did my nails and just said: Well if you want that you should do it at your home. Woman, I came here because I DIDNT want to do them at home by myself. She pulled up my cuticles and made another layer and said Is this good now? with so much anger and irony in her voice. Of course its not good, how can it be good when the nail polish is unevenly spread now? After I said no, she said Just take it off without further conversation and walked out. Usually a person who cares would try to talk and NOT BE RUDE but not this place. They tried to charge me for manicure! Manicure that was not even done correctly. Of course I wouldnt pay and they said Im not welcome anymore! Well guess what- I would not ever come back even if it was for free because sometimes its not about money, its about time and respect. Respect yourself and dont waste time here.Ladies its not worth it. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE.

Went in for a nail fill and eyelash extensions and WOW. I’m super impressed. Nails look amazing and eyelashes are beyond perfect and exceed my expectations by far. The time spent to make sure everything was perfect was amazing and the overall experience was awesome. Def recommend and def coming back!

This was my first time coming here since 2012! I love the new look of the salon (new to me anyway). I walked in and was able to be seen almost right away. This was my first time getting dip nails and I LOVE them. The technician made sure I liked them every step of the way and was very friendly. I noticed a lot of people getting a service done were regulars and knew the staff by name. I definitely see why, they all are very friendly and it made me feel very comfortable. I don’t get my nails done often, and my experience here today makes me want to come back! :) The guy at reception was very welcoming as well and had excellent charisma!

My first appointment, I called in the morning and they scheduled me that same day in the evening. I tried to do the same last week for my fill and they told me they suddenly dont do this anymore and I would just have to walk in, but they did confirm they had availability. I drove all the way in only to find they did not have any availability. I work ten hour days and they will not answer the phone while Im on lunch, so I havent been able to call the day before. They also arent open in the morning by the time I clock on and have no voicemail! The man who took my first appointment had amazing customer service, but I cant believe the woman I talked to refused to accommodate me and my busy schedule. Im going to try one more time tomorrow or else find a new salon. Im so disappointed this is how my first time getting acrylics has gone. I dont want them to fall off before I can get a fill! 😭

Ive been several times and usually am happy with the results. Last visit, Ruby attempted to overcharge me an extra $25. Thankfully the woman at the front desk noticed and charge me the correct amount. Ruby has worked there over a year, so she should know the prices for service. I felt like she was trying to scam me and that made me feel disappointed and uncomfortable, especially since I have requested her several times and always tip her generously. If you visit this salon, make sure they state the price before it starts so you dont get scammed.

The pedicures are great and they do the best dip nails in town. I like the fact that they use the plastic liners in the foot baths because no one wants nail fungus. The best part about this place is that children must be receiving a service or theyre not allowed. When I go to relax and get a pedicure the last thing I want is kids running and screaming around the nail salon while their parent(s) is receiving services. Not only is it a hazard to the kids, because they could get into something that might harm them, but its annoying to people who want to get their nails done and relax in a quiet and tranquil environment.

I have visited before and had “good” service.. recently my friend and I wanted to get our daughters nails painted for a birthday present when we arrived we quickly learned they were not “kid friendly” they asked if we were having services done and once we told them it was just the kids they said “okay I guess if they’re quiet!” This was unacceptable because kids are kids and after that we both decided not to stay and find somewhere that was “kid friendly”. Unfortunately we won’t be using their salon ever again and hopefully they learn that almost everyone has kids and they’re should accept everyone.

Went in for my lash extensions today absolutely fell IN LOVE. I don’t know why I’ve never been here in the two years I’ve been up here.The place is well organized, clean, EVERYTHING MATCHES.It’s VERY relaxing and comfortable in there. I was very impressed. The young lady that did my pedi was amazing. The gentleman that checked me in and out was not so amazing. Very poor customer service. He was more concerned about texting and talking on the phone. Never said thank you; luckily I had a gift card for this visit and I won’t be back.

I wrote a harsh review after a less than ideal experience there. I decided to give it one more try since I have been going there for four years for pedicures. I was a little caught off guard when Vincent, the front desk manager, asked me about the review I wrote. After a fleeting moment of embarrassment I owned it and talked to him about it. They were not mad about the review and very apologetic. He told me that they valued my business, understood why I was upset, and felt that I was justified in being upset. I had gotten nicked on my last appointment. It is one of the cleanest nail salons in town and, in addition, I think the fact that they talked to me about what happened proves that they value their customers. I am sure losing my business would not have been any financial burden for them, so they could have just as easily asked me not to come back. To save myself from any more freak-outs I might bring my own nails clipper and cuticle cutters, but I will continue to go there. They are also the only place Ive ever been to that can do a gel manicure that stays on for 2 weeks without peeling or having to add acrylics and fake nails. So this is me rescinding my harsher-than-necessary review and giving US Nails a thumbs up for customer service and quality.

I absolutely love US NAILS!! every time I go I am absolutely happy with my nails and they always last forever! Today I jammed my nail in my locker at work and broke it off. I went into get it fixed fully expecting to pay for it because it was my fault. They got me in super fast and she did not charge me for fixing right now! That’s awesome service if you ask me !!!! My nail tec even told me last time I went in I should go a little longer between fills... I go every 2 weeks but she said maybe closer to 3! I love how they always take care of me and my little girl and will continue to take my business there.

I am only giving 3 stars because I have been in there several times for pedicures and always had a good experience. I am 6 months pregnant and decided to treat myself to a manicure. The guy clipped my cuticle too far back and I bled a little. I was very unhappy with this and I asked about the cleaning procedures, which of course I was told that they clean their tools between clients. I did not watch him open the autoclave bag, but I was complacent because Id been there before and they always do a good job. He went ahead with my gel manicure and did a good job, but they charged double what other salons charge for a gel manicure. NO solar, no set, no acrylic, just plain old manicure and gel polish. $50. The massage was non existent and he was in way too much of a hurry, even though I scheduled an appointment. I will be watching closely to make sure I do not get an infection and I will never go back there again. After I complained they charged me full price and seemed very nonchalant about the fact that I had been made to bleed. It makes me feel like this might happen more often than Id like to think. I am very disappointed.

In March 2016, I went in to US NAILS for the very first time. I asked for a brow wax. The employee asked if I wanted a tint also. I asked her what color she suggested for me, she suggested light brown. I was very happy with the results. Yesterday I went in again for another brow wax and tint. A different employee provided the service and asked me what color tint. I told her light brown. This morning I noticed that my brow tint wasnt very dark and I still had to color in my brows with make up. So today I called and asked for the manager, this is when I found out that it was the manager who had done my brows yesterday. I explained that my brow tint was too light. She said that I should have gotten a medium brown tint. I told her that I had gotten a light brown tint in March, and it was dark enough for me, so thats why I asked for it again. She said that the employee who did my wax/tint in March is no longer working there, and she doesnt know what she really put on my brows. The manager said that if I would come back in the next couple of days, she would do a darker tint on them. I explained that I live 100 miles away, and that I work and cant make a 200 mile round trip to redo my brows. I explained to her that I am about to go on vacation, and will be gone for a month. She said that she cant wait that long to redo them, that I had to come in, in the next couple of days, which is impossible for me to do. I asked her if she would just refund the tint part of my bill. She said no, that its not her fault that I asked for light brown and that she did what I asked her to do. And I explained that I asked for light brown because that is what the last employee used, and it was the right color for me. So, its not really my fault either. I felt that she was being very unfair by not letting me come in for a redo when I get back from my vacation. I would have came right back for her to redo it, if I didnt live 100 miles away. She also told me it was only $25, as if that makes it ok that Im not happy with the results of my service. I worked hard for that money!.Maybe the owners should have a better manager running their salon. She felt like her decision was worth losing my future business and the negative reviews that the salon will get. I will never go back!!

Such a nice clean facility, and the massage chairs for pedicures are wonderful. I always receive great service.

The last two times I have gone with friends their nail technician has been rude, interruptive, and negative. He shoots down anything anybody says around him and is constantly telling everyone they are wrong even in conversations that werent directed at him. Today I called to make an appointment. The individual told me if I wanted to come in today I could just walk in at any time. I showed up within an hour and she told me they wouldnt be able to get me in until 6. I told her she told me to walk-in whenever today and she responds with thats not an appointment. Which, I am not arguing, but dont tell me to come in whenever and then when I walk in tell me I cant get in for 3 hours, let me know on the phone if you walk-in today it will likely be a wait unless you come in after 6. I am done experiencing the rudeness and general lack of care of their clients from this nail salon, I immediately called and booked an appointment at another salon in town. I wont be back. Thanks.

I had my nails done somewhere else and went to US Nails to have them fixed. They did an excellent job and made my nails look amazing. Even when I politely criticized the other place I had been to first, the nail tech tried to offer a reason for me instead of criticizing them or boasting themselves. Very classy.

I love my nails!! I decided to treat me and my daughters to some manicures! We came in on a Saturday without an appointment, but they tried their best to fit us in. I kind of feel bad for them, they were so packed but they still tried to satisfy everyone that came in. Anyways, the wait was long so we were told to come back in about an hour. When we got started, I decided to try the shellac polish. They had soo many colors, I was told it should last at least two weeks. For me, it has been about six weeks and they are still on my nails! Its crazy, I love them! My daughters got free flowers painted on their nails too, so cute!! Next time, I will make an appointment in advance because they are always pretty busy. Good place for some relaxing mother and daughter time..

This is the first time Ive ever written a review. That might show how bad this place is in itself. I actually and sadly made the mistake of trying this place twice. If you go in wondering why there is no one else in this huge facility...its because they cant make your nails look good. Both times my nails were misshapen and crooked worth one side longer than the other on some nails. The first time I went my nails were French tip. They didnt go all the way back in the nail bed and so a week later I had to get them done again especially because they were also coming up near the need of the nail and the white tip was yellowing and I dont smoke or anything. The second time I just got a solid color. After trying to get the guy to fix a couple misshapen nails be said they would look better after the powder so I still had two funky looking nails. They also change slightly more than other places.

I usually only do pedicures here. They are clean and offer a variety of services. The front desk staff is super helpful.

My experiance today was fantastic. The customer service was spot on, very timely, and relaxing. I had a great time. Vivian was very friendly and thorough.

Would not recommend. First time here, I thought getting the bottom of your feet scrubbed was included... but I suppose not. if your nail is ingown or you want your nails shaped, this also isnt the place for you. Quickest, poorest quality pedicure Ive ever had. Although, the salon itself is nice. Wont be returning.

The professionalism stands out & it is very apparent that the owners work hard to make each experience pleasant & high quality. I really appreciate that when I make my appointments, I am never kept waiting. I am the kind of person that enjoys coming in & being able to be serviced in a timely manner. Ive been to so many places all over the world (being military) & it makes a huge difference when you can come into an nail establishment & do not have to sit around soaking in a pedicure chair with cold water or be stuck at a table watching everyone else get their services completed even though you made an appointment.If you prefer a walk in environment, this is also an option but the good thing is that the staff will be honest with you about the wait time & suggest coming back or making an appointment if they dont have an available tech, which I would truly appreciate. There is nothing worse than being told it will be 15 minutes & a half an hour later you have to go ask about an update & you keep being told it will just be a few more minutes..... when it would be better to simply be honest.You can also book online now when you have a preference for a specific tech. Be aware that booking online ensures you have that specific tech available for your services so if you have to cancel it must be done 24 hours before your appointment. You cannot just no show, you will be charged because you have taken up time that could be dedicated to another client. If you make a general appointment & do not request a specific tech the policy is different & I think you may cancel the same day... but everything is on their website so I would check to be sure as things change. I am guilty of having my favorites so I prefer to book with specific techs, lol (Tiffany, Jessica, & Peter).Another thing I really like is that they have a kid policy that states children (under 13, I think) not receiving services are not allowed. I come to relax & enjoy myself & it is great not to have children running amuck! I have a toddler and I couldnt imagine trying to wrangle her while getting anything done, lol!I come here for my nails (I fell in love with dip nails), pedicures, lashes, and even for my hair care needs. Tiffany did an amazing job coloring my hair etc & teaching me about the products that work well on my hair specifically. I am forever hooked on Moroccan oil products!! 🙂 Well, I felt the need to follow up with my review because after going for a while I wanted to make sure I could provide insight from a regular client perspective. I would highly recommend US nails, they arent voted the best in Fairbanks for no reason, it is well earned!! 💜🙂

It was ok, but he seemed very irritated to do my nails, and after I got my $75 overpriced nails, I had $10 left to tip and he openly scoffed and rolled his eyes at the tip like it wasnt enough.So I said nevermind and took the tip back🤷Wasnt impressed at all.And wont be coming back.Definitely need to be a Little less annoyed to do their job...

We stopped while we were christmas shopping and they said they could not get us in, which i understand on a holiday saturday afternoon.So i really wanted to try them because the atmosphere just seemed so much nicer and relaxing than the other places ive been to in fairbanks.Stopped at 2pm on a thursday afternoon in march to get a pedicure. The shop had 5 people getting manicures and no one that i could see back in the pedicure chairs. The receptionist said it would be a 45 minute wait. So i made an appt for 45 minutes from then and said i would be back. Went and killed time in town.Came back in 40 minutes and the receptionist said to have a seat. I waited for 30 more minutes and then went and told them it wasnt worth it to wait any longer and left.Not worth the wait!

Overcharge for simple acrylics and will rush through a manicure. Ive never been bled so much from getting acrylics. Never went back.

I went in for a new set and a simple design (because the design I wanted wouldve put me at a $70 total) and she told me no she couldnt do it, and instead of asking someone else if they could do it, she kept insisting on doing the expensive one. When she was removing my old set, she put a bowl of hot water under the nail removing liquid and it was scorching hot within the minute. and she left dried acrylic all over my hands. To top it all off. My nails are all different lengths and all but two nails are crooked, one of which being almost 30 degrees off. I paid more there to get horrible quality. I do NOT recommend this place

I had a gel polish manicure and the guy who did it left a huge gap between my cuticle and the start of the polish. I didnt have time to get it fixed right then but the guy said hed fix it the next day. I went in the next day and he pretended not to recognize me and said my nails looked like they were like 2 weeks grown out and thats just how they look after that much time. No matter what I said he insisted on charging me the price of a full gel manicure. So I left and havent been back since.

I spent way too much on nails Im not happy with. My daughters polish literally fell off of her nails on the same day she got it done. My ombré polis isnt ombré at all. Its more like splotchy lighter color on the tips of my nails. My favorite was when the tech said, lets put some glitter on them so theyll look better... Ill be continuing my hunt for a decent tech elsewhere.

Describing my experience in one word: rough. Literally. Today was my first time at US Nails, and I wont be going back. I got a manicure, which consisted of soaking my hands in a bowl of plain, warm water, and then having someone take my cuticles off. $30 for something I could do at home? Jesus. Okay. Included in that price was a chunk of skin ripped from my cuticle, making me BLEED EVERYWHERE. The person doing my nails touched my bleeding finger with his bare hand to stop the cut, then with blood ON HIS HANDS, grabs the bottle of antiseptic, which looked like it also had dried blood on it. This person was also not wearing a face mask and kept COUGHING ON MY HANDS. I dont have HIV or AIDS. Hopefully the other people whos blood is on the bottle of antiseptic dont, either. To continue, he was not gentle with me at all during the application of my gel polish, and kept hurting me every time he scraped excess polish from the skin around my nails, to the point where I was literally saying ouch out loud. The gel polish I asked for looks like I did it myself- uneven, messy, and just overall terrible. The whole point of coming to the nail salon was to have my nails done by someone else who would supposably do a better job than I could, and to relax. Neither of these things happened. I will never go to this salon again.

Went in for a pedicure and it was fantastic friendly staff I was a walk-in I didnt wait but a minute and the lady that did my pedicure was awesome highly recommended them!!

Called in for last minute eyebrow appointment. The receptionist was especially kind and patient as I asked questions about the products they use. I was in and out within 15 minutes 👑
