This is my second time going to L.A Nails and I have not been disappointed. Made my appointments online both times and have had no issue. My pedicure was amazing and the lady really took her time. Tina has done my nails both times and I can’t complain. She’s very gentle and always does my nails how I want plus puts her own little twist to make them even cuter. I believe if you read their policies and do your booking online then you shouldn’t have an issue with your visit like some of these reviews say.

The BEST place to get your nails done in town. I’ve literally tried everywhere else & this establishment has the best service & atmosphere. It’s very quiet and talking is kept to a minimum which I enjoy so very much! It’s not like your typical nail salon where everyone is loud & gossiping. I wish I found out about this place sooner!!

Wonderful Place to get your nails done, comma they do whatever they can to get you the nails that you want. Very friendly staff however they are currently not doing Waxing.

I used to come here every 2 weeks until I moved about 7 years ago. I came back for my son’s wedding & got a full set & pedicure. The service was prompt (I made an appointment online). I don’t remember the man’s name but he did a phenomenal job. I haven’t had even 1 nail chip, break, or come off in a month!!! A MONTH!!! It was way more expensive than any full set I’ve ever had but it was well worth the $. If I lived in Fairbanks I’d go back for fills!

Ryan was my nail tech and he absolutely rocked it. Do yourself a favor and try LA Nails. They make sure you love your nails! I dont get my nails done often but when I do they always do a great job!

My matte black gel nails look so lovely and the gentleman doing my nails was very professionally and gentle with my hands. Will definitely come back!

My full gel set nails and deluxe pedicure were outstanding! The leg and foot massage was heavenly and my nails turned out adorable and naturally beautiful looking! I loved every second of it and it felt amazing to get a little pampering for spring!

She wanted me to book a separate appointment for my daughter in which I completed. Then turns around and canceled my daughter appointment due to the same card number!!!!!!!! Duh, I am the one paying for her shes 13! Then says well I can send you an invoice for her future services so you can pay now???? Huh?? Is this how you run your business! So unprofessional!! Never will go there again!!!!!!!

Ive been here twice now and cannot wait to be back! I was going to try out a new salon (Top Nails), but after making an appointment with them and still being asked to wait 30 minutes, I decided to walk out and called L.A. Nails right away. They were able to fix me in the same day!!Im from California (here in AK because military) and let me tell you...L.A. Nails live up to their name. Theyre THE BEST in Fairbanks. Even better than some places in LA!! You pay for what you get and it is worth it.Theyre also taking a lot of precautions due to coronavirus and it makes me feel very safe.Ive gotten my nails done by Brian both times and hes amazing!

Unreasonable cancelation policy despite of explaining sickness circumstances. They rather have the money then the safety of customers.You can have whatever policy you want its your business but I also have an opinion and believe that for every rule there should be an exception 😉 if you are COVID conscious and you have a customer who is experiencing symptoms last minute and is been honest and considerate of others, there should be some kind of flexibility. But if charging people without giving a service its more important to you, I also understand and respect that! Hope the money servers you well! :)

I went in for mani pedi. Got in at a reasonable time. Friendly service. Wonderful pedi. Very relaxing. Mani looks and feels great. Have had many compliments while on vacation. Overall. Great experience.

The facility was calming and peaceful, the nail techs were experienced with their technique and fluid in their handling, and the price is well worth the experience. I highly recommend the deluxe pedi, the massage is so great! They only operate by appointments, which adds to the peacefulness of the atmosphere as there is not a huge queue of people waiting and huffing for their turn, and also made me feel like the tech wasn’t trying to rush through my service to get to the next person in line.

Update: fantastic service. If you want to feel pampered and treated with care please visit LA Nails. They take hygiene and cleanliness seriously. I have always been a nail biter. I have been visiting LA nails for about 4 months and have had short manicures, I moved up today with a longer nail and they have been so knowledgeable on my nail care. I appreciated the unique spin on nail art and making the individual person feel important. Worth every penny. I got a new set today and was able to see how much my real nails have improved having set over top.You wont be disappointed on the quality and time they take for you.

I’ve been to this nail salon a few times since being stationed in Alaska and I will say they do good work however the customer service is not the best and the front desk girl Tina is absolutely disrespectful and rude. She failed to write down my appointment and had an attitude with me when I came in and told me they don’t book a month out when she was the one I talked with the schedule my appointment IN PERSON! I do not recommend her at all! Very poor customer service skills!

Tina was amazing. I told her what colors I wanted and she did such a great job designing my nails. I’m so glad I trusted her with my set. She took her time and was very detailed. Over all the whole experience was great!

Attempted to make an appointment for a friend and myself. One of us wanted a pedi, I needed a gel polish removal followed by a basic mani. When my friend called she’s been told they had an opening at 5pm for us but the employee was insistent that she couldn’t book anything for us unless she knew exactly what kind of gel I had on my nails. So I called to schedule it so I could answer her question. She then stated they didn’t have a 5pm opening (I called back less than 10 mins later but I understand that could’ve changed). She then told me we’d each need to call and book separately and use separate credit cards. When I asked about appts the following day she said that would have to be done online. I asked why it couldn’t be done right then while we were on the phone and very bluntly I was told “that’s just how it works.” Not once during this exchange did she ask what kind of gel polish I had even though I brought it up more than once. The poor customer service alone is why I will avoid this place from now on but the differing information we got was also frustrating.

I came in to have my nails fixed after a botched job from a different salon and my artist at LA nails was AMAZING. She was very patient and kind. She worked quickly without sacrificing cleanliness and quality. Hands down one of my best experiences ever!

My friend and I got the deluxe pedicures with stones and it changed my life! So relaxing and Ive never felt my feet this soft. Recieved a fill for my nails as well and they came out so perfect and beautiful. Ill never go anywhere else. Thank you!

I have been going to LA Nails for the last three years. They are always friendly and the salon is always very clean. My gel manicure always lasts two weeks, which is amazing. When I bring my young daughter they always go out of their way to make her feel extra special.

I went today and this will be myThird time there since moving to Alaska. Thomas’s attention to detail is impeccable, he did an above an amazing job. This place always does a spectacular job for me. First of all they have taken the pandemic seriously And have precautions; such as hand hygiene, screening in place for their customers along with mandatory face masks and that means a lot to me as a healthcare worker. They do excellent work and always listen to what I want and my concerns. They do quality work all around and make sure to make your manicure or pedicure satisfactory to you all the way down to the fine detail. Will always be coming back here for my nails. First time going here and i was not disappointed! Walked in today with my 2year old son who started to act up the moment we walked in, staff was so friendly and nice with him, they offered him some lollipops that they had. Got my nails done by Ryan and I absolutely love the way they came out!! Walked it with nails that were done by another place(which I didnt like) and he took them all off and gave me a new set. I will most definitely be going back😊

I had a great time talking to staff and left with a set of beautiful and long lasting nails. My mom used to take me here when I was super young to play iSpy while we got pedicures and I’m still coming back over ten years later. Any wait time is worth it for the product!

THIS WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER EXPERIENCED. It started with denying our appointment for being a few minutes late, fine our fault but still RUDE in every way possible. Rescheduled for the next day, everything went fine but the GEL polish I paid 20$ for came off my baby toe. They were closed Tuesday and Wednesday, I just called Thursday morning and asked to get it fixed. And then it all went to hell. I asked if I could come in on the weekend because I have kids and no sitter... she said absolutely not because it was against their policy because it would be “to long” mind you they were closed Tuesday and Wednesday.Just save your $$ and go somewhere with decent human beings who understand customer service and aren’t the RUDEST human beings on earth. I spent 90$ there and it was the worst money I have ever spent. If I could them 0 stars I would.

Thomas was amazing! I wanted wedding type coffin nails and he did an outstanding job. He was very careful and detail oriented. He didn’t rush. I’ve been to many nail salons back home and never found one that did even a decent job. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could! I definitely recommend this place for pedicures and manicures!! I have always had great experience here! The lady who always does my pedicures know Im sensitive and she always is gentle but firm with my feet! This time I had gel polish placed on my nails and the lady was super nice and took great care of smoothing my skin out around my nails also.

I called to schedule an appt. I was told that because I had covid 19 back in June2020 that I could not schedule. It makes no sense that they allow people that haven’t had covid to be serviced, but don’t allow others to be serviced. As a healthcare professional, I explained to him that if you’ve had covid before or have gotten both doses of the vaccine, you’re less likely to catch Covid, but the guy that answered didn’t care. They should definitely become more educated on covid if they want to make rules in their shop.

They had good cleanliness and the service was good but the lady at the front yelled at my mom and aunt while they were checking in but treated the costumers nice and polite after them. I mean we live in rural Alaska, they spend all that money to get out of town and pamper themselves but to be treated like that.... come on man.

This place is handling COVID appropriately. You have to sign a consent form on their online database as well as on paper.It is pretty expensive, but the older lady loved my feet although she wasnt prepared to do the design, she had her colleague finish it.It was ok

I have had a long time standing nail appointment every few weeks with Thomas. His excellent technique and friendliness is the reason I keep coming back. Today I got a pedicure for the first time and he did an awesome job. He took his time and didn’t rush and was gentle. I felt very relaxed!This salon has gone above and beyond to be careful and have precautions in place due to COVID-19. The whole salon is kept very clean and sanitary and I’m impressed with their approach to Re-Opening amidst this pandemic. I will be back next week.

Best nail salon! I have been to numerous nail salons in town trying them all out. I have been here a number of times now and this one has been the best for me. My nails look beautiful and feel great. They actually made them look way better (I have a full acrylic set with a stiletto shape). I received excellent service and the price was great. I recommend LA Nails.

LA Nails is right around the corner from my house, but convenience isnt the only reason why I go there. I dont trust anyone to do my eyebrows, but they do an amazing job on waxing my eyebrows and they always manage to find the time to do them quickly when I walk in on a busy day. I also get my nails done here as well and they do a GREAT job! I havent been able to stop staring at them the last 2 days! Highly recommend LA Nails to anyone!

The young man was new and not very fast. I came in at 10:30 and my fill was done in less than 45 minutes. But my pedicure took over an hour and a half. I had another appointment to go to. He did a good job, just slow

They did an excellent job with maintaining state mandates for separating customers, making sure everyone’s health was screened, and that face masks were worn. Very pleased!

Got my nails done one week ago and a few nails had already chipped off. Called today, got an appointment the same day, they were generous enough to not make me pay! I definitely recommend, this is the only nail salon I go to.

I entered this place with a friend and a great smile in our faces, lookin for a relax time and to get a pedicure, worst front desk ever. I’m new in Alaska, I wanted to feel welcome and she didn’t even try to help me, she went straight to the point “nothing available today for pedicure” with no manners or at least be kinda polite about it. Customer service is everything when you work in this environment. I don’t work in retail, but as a police officer, I have to manners and be polite. Thanks, I’ll take my money where I’m appreciated as a customer.

The customer service here is superb. I came in today to get a full set done while having my newborn with me. The baby started crying and instead of complaining or making comments Tina came over and helped all while a new gentlemen (I did not get his name) got my nails done quickly and perfectly. I will continue to come back to this nail salon. I highly recommend everyone check it out. Their prices are great for the service they provide.

I had my brows waxed and wasnt happy with them at all. The gentleman who did them didnt really listen to my requests. It felt like he just did what he thought was right. My brows still looked sloppy and unprofessional. I definitely wont be back.

Just moved here an was looking for a place to go to get my nails done regularly and THIS IS NOT IT! The guy that did my nails was nice don’t get me wrong but my nails was crooked and he was super super rough. My experience made me super tense and he had to tell me to relax multiple times! I was so tense because he was so rough with my nails! Will not go there again
