Used to live here. It wasn’t bad. A cockroach or four would show up. I always felt like something sketchy went on at night. They had a nice swimming pool, though. That’s it. That’s the review.

I was charged for cleaning, paint, and carpets BEFORE I even moved out. The bill says they did the apartment inspection before my move-out date.I was working from home so I know they did not inspect anything, they just charge it no matter what. You will not receive your deposit back, AND you will be billed on top of that. Do not move here, the moving out process is a huge scam.

Management was super helpful and nice with the move in process and the apartment itself is really nice and spacious. Only thing I see thats not too great is the minorly rusty water however isnt an issue or health concern, nothing a filter cant fix. I really like it here and its close to Walter Park which is very convenient. Its an older building but very well built, cant hear through the walls too much which is great because being on the bottom floor you would expect to hear stomping as if the neighbors are going to fall through the ceiling, but thats not the case. I love it here and would give 10 stars if possible.

Newly renovated with a mediocre labor and cheap materials. How does a newly renovated bathroom grow mold in the caulking within a week of moving in? Kitchen finishes are hideous and they couldnt even adjust the stove to the height of the countertop. They state that they have been working on the water pipes but after a year we still had yellow water coming out of the tap. Maybe in the welcome package, instead of all the garbage they put in, they should put a Brita pitcher. No Smoke signs are everywhere, but people smokes in the balconies and the building doors with no repercussion. It gets worse when the neighbors are partying on the parking lot at 3 in the morning and you try the security just to have them tell you that is not something they do and that you should call the police ... What a joke! Reimbursable fee? Another Joke If you like to live sorrounded by junkies, walk in into your neighbors being questioned by the cops once a month, walk your kids in hallways that smell like marijuana and the sight of overflowing dumpsters, this is the place you want to live in.

Would not recommend living here.. we’ve lived here for almost 3 years. We had cockroaches when we first moved in and nothing but mold issues in our master bedroom and bathroom. We’ve thrown out multiple furniture pieces due to the mold. We had mold on the walls and management painted over it but it’s still so humid that our furniture has mold growing on it.. last year our bottom floor apartment flooded from the management not taking care of cleaning out the gutters. Along 10th ave. W. There’s drug users that hangout, there’s cops at either sides of the apartments all the time. We’ve had things stolen off our porch.. Place is not worth the money or the hassle.

Do NOT move here. The surrounding area is loud and random strangers will walk through the parking lot at night time yelling random things. Neighbors are loud and disrespectful with both music and screaming matches regularly. The building constantly stinks and residents smoke indoors even though it’s not allowed. The door that opens to our hallway has been broken twice- once so that it wouldn’t shut and the second time so it wouldn’t open (major safety hazard)! Overall our experience here has been very unpleasant and we will not be renewing our lease. I recommend you don’t sign one to begin with!

Mold, unsafe conditions, maintenance and office administration dont seem to care too much, too many people partying all night all week long. Months after contacting the office, mold is still there, there is a hole in our bathroom ceiling, people let their pets defecate in the stairwells and halls, and possibly a bug infestation.

Moved in about a month ago. Very satisfied so far, apartments nicely renovated, open and spacious. Really like that there are elevators to help with move in and inside entrances that make if feel safe. I see maintenance working often to make sure everything stays nice. Just be aware that there isnt a microwave in the kitchen like most places have, so you need to bring your own. The leasing staff is super nice too, make sure to ask about current specials.

Living here has been beyond horrible. I cant wait for our lease to be up. We arent living in safe conditions. The water from our pipes doesnt come through clear, and their solution was to give us a faucet filter for the kitchen sink. A month later they came through and took it back, and replaced all the faucets. The water is still brown and undrinkable. Theyre now telling us that means the galvanization in the pipes has worn out, which means the water pipes are rusting.Next would be that our toilet was molding our wall, since they installed it flush to the drywall. Their solution was to ignore my calls for several months then replace all the toilets in the complex. They failed to replace the molded drywall, or remove the mold. They have scraped away at it some, and then put the toilet in place. It took over a week for them to fix the problem with our ceiling squishing from the upstairs neighbors tub leaking, and they left our ceiling cut open for the duration of that time, AND they said maintenance could be in our out at any time during that week. Not okay. I will not tolerate a week long maintenance window. Then would be the bee problem. We have had wasps coming in through our bathroom for a month now, and have had to tape over the vent. Cut to a few weeks later, theres dead wasps between the vent and the tape, and they began coming into the rest of our house through holes for electrical. Theres dead wasps in the light fixtures from where they crawled in and couldnt get out. They called an exterminator and all he did was spray the exterior of the building. The office staff is constantly changing, and none of them seem to have the same information. For a while there before they switched staff again, I couldnt get a single phone call to be answered, which was frustrating since the office is closed before Im off work. My housemates could, but they were ignoring my calls.Nova North is not a safe place to live. They dont do enough to keep their tenants safe, one of their maintenance men was very predatory (thank god he quit or got fired, he made all kinds of comments to me), and the rent is astronomical for these conditions. Theres still five months left on my lease and I cant wait to get out of here. Ill never recommend this place to anybody. I dont feel comfortable in my own home.

I’ve lived here since December and initially I loved it for the most part. The unit layout is pretty cute and spacious; the only thing I dislike about it is that the washer/dryer is part of the on-suite and it’s pretty loud.My first irritation started with the hookup to the washer. It collected water and leaked and leaked. I called for maintenance and they came the next day and tried to fix it, but were unsuccessful. Second time they came, they managed to resolve the issue. The real issue I have is with the people who live above me. Two times they over filled their bathtub, and because of the old piping, that caused the water to leak into their floor and fall from my ceiling which created quite the mess to clean up. Maintenance was notified both times, and yet again wasn’t resolved until the last time.I’m not sure if the next problem is a unit issue, or a neighbor issue, but the noise is so ridiculously loud I’m often nervous that someone is going to break through my ceiling and tumble down. All day and through the night loud banging and stomping. Kids running up and down the halls. I’ve contacted the office multiple times about the noise, as I pay far too much to not be able to relax in my own home; but they decided to tell me something that was ABSOLUTELY none of my business and that the woman who lives above me is pregnant (guilt tactic much?) so now I have been put in a situation where I have to decide between my peace of mind or my conscious. Big moral dilemma.I would highly advise against moving to nova north honestly as far as it stands now.

I have a list of questions that I ask apartments when Im looking to move or helping someone else move. In this case, when I scheduled something with Nova North I was super excited to know what they have around and to see what their apartments look like. Unfortunately, when I arrived to see what their apartments look like they said that they didnt have any units to show me, which, of course made me worry. I had asked questions as well and got semi-answers and it had put me off to the point that I didnt even ask all my questions.

This place is not somewhere you want to live. Its insanely over priced for what they provide and how they treat people. Today I was yelled at from across the parking lot by a maintenance worker, when I tried calling the office to complain they didnt answer (as usual mind you). Leaving a message is useless too since Ive never gotten a call back in the year Ive lived here, and Ive left plenty of messages. This poses a problem because I dont feel safe enough to even walk to the office due not only to this employee but the surrounding area is just unsafe as it is. Now as for the actual apartments and not just the people working here, its horrifying. I didnt have clean drinking water for the first 8 months I lived here. When they finally got around to fixing it I was without a shower for over a week. There are so many flaws in construction and the general build of the apartment I live in. Nothing about this place is worth the astronomical rate they charge in rent.Edit: I finally got ahold of someone shortly after I posted this, all they wanted to do was give the person a talking to.

Coming from King County, Nova North prices were incredibly reasonable & overall the apartment was in decent shape compared to most other apartments. Recently I had a DV incident where I had to call the police & remove myself from an unsafe & hostile environment & roommate. This is where the office staff proceeded to tell me that all I needed was to provide a copy of my police report and I would be able to be taken off the lease. I had no choice but to leave my apartment & when I was able to get them the police report then they proceeded to tell me that I actually would need a restraining order against my roommate to take me off the lease. After that, there was a lot of miscommunication & inaccurate information given & a huge lack of compassion--giving me the impression that they really do not know what they are doing.

I lived here for 2 years and the water is brown, there are bugs everywhere, there are crackheads breaking in and sleeping in the hallways all the time, the inside hallways are never clean, the walls are paper thin, and the rent is over the top expensive. I do NOT recommend living here by any means! Stay far away. Its not worth your time or money.

Current tenant, 2nd year lease. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Management is just here for their check while they do gimmick renovations in a weak effort of what seems to be a property “flip”. Why do I say weak? Because they treat their job as if they don’t mind losing it. In chronological order: moved in to unit, carpets started coming up in the corners of the rooms like there’s no adhesive there. Noticed low water pressure and dirty water... Property mgmt (Nova North) were VERY adamant to say it is commonplace in this area... NOT TRUE. Visit any other complex nearby with similar or cheaper pricing before coming here (Shiloh, Copperstone, Arterra) NONE of the building have this issue. FUN FACT: one of their on-site maintenance workers was prepping an apartment for next tenants and ended up backing water up in the tub and sink for 3 DAYS. I’m talking sewage water, dirty and BLACK LIKE PEN INK. The hospitality in the office is laughable. Nova North’s solution? Tell my lady and I to wait till they can get a plumber... like there aren’t 24hr plumbing services. Just keep in mind, you pay a premium rent and the service you get when something happens is way below par. Speaking of which, That situation was poorly handled by their assistant manager Michele Gerrish who emailed us stating she would not contact a plumber until Monday (happened on a Sat morning). She deceivingly mentioned we would get access to a unit across the hall (2 steps) in order to access amenities however we were instead handed keys to a unit at the end of the hall (4doors down). Mind you, my unit reeked of waste for the entirety of the weekend as well as a lingering odor a few days afterward. Left to clean up the mess, we had a heated exchange with management shortly after resulting with a complaint being left to be the “first” to blemish this assistant managers name. The reason for this review here isn’t to slander anyone, but rather bring to light the condescending attitudes and less than pleasurable business side of things with this said complex. After this exchange the Manager offered a compensation of $250 dollars (gift cards as part of a move in promotion to cover the bath mats and shampoos that were soiled) but ONLY after suggesting I take my complaints up with my apartment insurance policy. The next day when in for the GC the assistant manager was very obviously displeased. It’s Unprofessional to wear your emotions on your sleeve, which is exactly what this “manager” did another time after that, when we inquired about mail that had not shown up. With tracking numbers in hand as well as paper work from the original sender AND the courier service SIGNED AND DATED by Michele Gerrish, I was appalled at her behavior. Not only was she belittling in her attitude, she LITERALLY TOLD ME TO LOOK FOR IT MYSELF. Inexcusable unprofessionalism that just does not surprise me anymore. 2nd complaint on Gerrish. Transients and RVs on 10th Ave non-stop with people on megaphones and drug dealers walking in and around like it’s nothing. The 1st floor of the apartments is the only one that smells nice, the halls always smell funky because their maintenance people don’t replace the Air fresheners. The last time they vacuumed the halls was when someone came by to check the property out... we counted the amount of blank parking spaces (which were less than tenants vehicles already) and now we’re impatiently waiting to count how many we have after these new “awnings” come into effect. I turned my hot water faucet on at 2:17 and it has now been 50 minutes and no hot water has come out. Ask me how I’m feeling...

I have not lived here since October 31st 2018. Long story short we had to break our lease 3 weeks into our new one. We were penalized with losing our deposit, and 2266 which was twice our monthly rent amount. I genuinely feel like there was little to no compassion on the managers part, but also understand she had a job and someone to answer to. During my time living in Nova North I can say (CONS) I could hear EVERYTHING going on next door and upstairs, we had a roach incident that was handled and did not reappear, the water for the first 5 seconds ran dirty (to the point where we were going to request our own inspection of the quality of water because who seriously washes, drinks, or cooks with water that looks brown?) that issue was not fixed till the day we moved out, theres some sketchy activities at night going on in the back where there is access to the park, there was never a security person at night checking parking, receiving packages from Amazon or anywhere else was a 50/50 chance youd receive it, and the ceiling fan could not be used in high speed because it would shake aggressively making me nervous itd collapse (this a maintenance person came over to basically say, it was safe but would shake that way). Now to the (PROS) very reasonably priced (I thought), easy access to the park, the dog bath room was great, Gym incentive was also great, and if you live in the A building youre away from the activities going on on Casino Rd (so it almost feels like youre not on Casino Rd), work orders got done, Washer and Dryer in unit was also great, and although the elevator looks scary, its nice to have one when youre bringing in groceries and live in the 2nd or 3rd floor. They also did not charge crazy amounts to the move out costs (I think ours was 250).I will say my biggest issue is how they handled the lease break. They have sold the debt before the 45 days they claimed theyd wait, to IQ Data who literally harass you when you call to try and pay your debt. They charged us incorrectly for a fee of not having renters insurance (50$) and now IQ Data is not fixing it. When I called Nova North they said they requested it be taken off, but beyond that cannot do anything. It is a small amount but after paying over 2000 dollars for a lease break and losing my deposit of 800+ dollars I refuse to let this go. It has been since December that I was told they put in the ticket and I am still being charged the incorrect amount by collectors who call daily requesting all the money upfront otherwise they become aggressive in tone saying you do not want to pay the debt. I wish Nova North would have chosen a collection agency that had better ethics in how they treat people they are collecting from (just look up their reviews).Response to the business reply:There is absolutely no way there is no record showing the amount of times we called regarding this issue (brown water), unless the staff that opened up that renovated building did not note it. In fact, Karen who was the manager at the time of our residency there, had felt so bad she had promised she would get us a filtering water attachment to add to our faucet. This was after I had pointed out that the running of water in which we get charged is unfair since we had to run our water for a few seconds every time we wanted to do anything since it would run brown. I feel like I was able to give an objective review of our time in Nova North for possible future resident. However, it is alarming that there is no notation of the issue we called numerous of times about.Additionally, the fact that you cannot fix the issue of the rental insurance fee charged to IQ Data since December completely disregards our equal housing opportunity. We, like anyone else, need housing and this hanging over our heads is penalizing to our rental history.

After a year being tired to deal with parking lot and services of this arpartment, we moved out. However, it did not just stop there. Our deposit was stolen almost 90%, even we had already spent a day to clean that apartment and made it look exactly like it was before us. They sent us a long list of charges: sewer, facilities, garbage,........ NONE of that makes sense. During the time living there, they had always tried to charge you unnormal fees. Even you don’t have anywhere to stay, PLEASE DONT stay here.

Nova NORTH wants my autistic son and me to go homeless. Theyve got a lawyer with a stick up his butt and aREALLY mean apartment manager. Theyve got the sheriff poised to break into my home on Monday or Tuesday (Oct 29th or 30th, 2018). And they think this is good service!Dont you EVER be late with your rent here. You WILL regret ever living here if youre late with your rent! These people CANNOT tolerate tardiness, and dont ever try to live on an UberEATS income. You WILL be harmed. You have been warned. These people have a real attitude problem with high expectations on lower income housing! Avoid this place.

I would give nova north 3 or 4 stars if it wasnt for one thing.I have been living here for about a year now, everything was fine and no big issues except for my upper neighbor is just considerable and they think they live in a house where they vacuum at 12am and let their dog pee through the wooden deck. But this was taken care of we are ok now, the big thing that I feel that nova should get 1 star is for the toilet. Yes the toilet you read correctly, if are you like me and feel like the bathroom time should be a comfortable time as much as possible then you will find that nova north will not be the place for you. Because about 2 weeks ago they started changing toilets from comfortable lower to the floor (Kohler) to these very tall and very I mean very small toilets. I am not a big guy by any means so if I find them small I can only imagine a bigger person would not be happy and comfortable at a place you would otherwise call home. I think someone from their executive office who has never lived in an appartment made this terrible decision. I want to see them come try it and tell me what they think, I am not renewing my lease and I will be leaving at the end of Aug. This is another classic example of bad business decision that would only fire back. I have included pictures and the toilet paper is for your comparison and see how small it is. They are trying to save money but they are doing it the wrong way. I am not happy with it at all.

When I gave reviews I normally gave 5 star due to a good reasons and also to let Nova North Team that as one of your residence your all appreciated and Im sure this will be one of the best apartment of Casino Road in Everett in years amd years to come. First the place was renovated nicely, roaches was gone due to there team effort with maintenance helping hand and other resources, they take care of it. 2ndly they are quick fixing issues of the apartment and keeping all tenants on the loop for any inconvenience that they are still working on for the renovation of the apartment. 3rdly nice view in my side apartment, all tenants has parking and no hassle on parking for visitors, patrol for safety, quite and nice location. I highly recommend this apartment. I also would like to thank and to let everyone gave David recognition for such a nice, processional and cool leasing specialist and the other teams as well. Keep up the great work Team Nova North Apartment. Great job Management Team!

This place is a FRAUD!! All they are is ignorant a$$holes that take your money and do nothing when you have a problem. The water is BROWN.. this is worse than Mexico water conditions. I’ve gotten sick from it and They do nothing to make their apartments to a standard that is even decently live able. The management is garbage as well just like the crime around the area when vehicles get broken into on a nightly basis, you hear gunshots, and you have homeless people living right next to the curb. This place needs to be looked upon by a health department because as you can see with their horrible reviews... nova North needs to permanently shut down and not be allowed to do this.
