Great customer service. The girls were super busy tonight and got both my mom and I in and out for pedicures and Manicures. I love my new nails!

Went in for a pedicure and a full set. The lady who did my pedicure was so fast, she literally let my stick my feet in the water then instantly pulled them out and started scraping them. So my pedicure was VERY rushed. I got a gel pedicure which she said would be 45. On the full set, I was ready to go and had color at home so I just wanted acrylic which she said would be 22 dollars. Fine. I got to pay and it’s 93.00. I had been here before and was looking for a place to get my nails done for my wedding but I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

They are short on staff like so many other places so I had a half hour wait (and I had an appointment). I guess that is to be expected. I have been going there for many years and they always do a good job and are very pleasant and professional.

Great pedicures for the three of us! They take their time to trim, smooth, and relax our tired and dry feet. Lovely ladies were friendly and welcoming.

Its always real busy but one of the best nail salons Ive ever been too..

You would think they would want to keep long term customers, nope they don’t care, three times I’ve made appt with Kim and she always canceling, they don’t call you they let you come in only to find out she’s not working, too many choice to have to put up with business, going to the new one on Hoke road !!

My friend has always raved about this place butLately quality is awful. We both left very unsatisfied with nails. All being different shape, length, and thickness. Both of us had multiple spots bleeding on each hand. They do not listen to what the customer says and We both had to go to a different salon to have them fixed. The woman that did mine was the owner and seemed to busy to care about me telling her she was hurting me grinding my nails and skin around them. This place should be shut down. We will never step foot back in this salon and I hope no one else does either.

The worst pedicure I have ever had! My first and last time going here.

I called in at 10am and they took me right away for a dip manicure and gel pedicure. The lady took her time and ensured that my nails were good and even joked around with each other. Took about 2 hours and absolutely love my nails! For both dip manicure and pedi was $96.53 with taxes, Which is about the same at most shops. Will definitely be returning as a regular customer!

I just left this shop very rude to every customer that was in there...I will never go back!! I will never cheat on luxury nail spa again ever!!🤬😡🤬

Natalie did an ombre dip for me and I am SO happy with it! I had my nails done at luminous and they just seemed to clump it on heavy and uneven, but Natalie at J&J kept my nails thin and natural looking. Very pleased!!

I would definitely recommend J & J Nail Spa! The ladies are always very efficient, friendly, and professional. My nails always look great and last. Ive never had any issues here. The salon is clean and orderly. I think their prices are totally reasonable compared to other area salons. Theres a wait sometimes but appointments can be made to avoid having to wait too long.

It was a great experience, I had gotten my nails filled in and a pedicure and I liked how they turned out. The staff was very polite and made me feel really welcomed. They do a good job for a small local business.

Customer service was not good at all and that tells me a lot. When I asked for the owner the manager tried to step up and make things right. I read reviews and then drove 20 minutes to go to this nail shop only to be disappointed in the way I was treated. When I walked in the door I was not greeted at all and stood there till some lady finally said do you have an appointment which I said No because when I called you said you did walk ins...she the proceeded to say they could not take me so I left. My friend lives in the area and wanted to come get her nails done with me so I called back in the shop and asked for an appointment which she booked me for 15 minutes later as well as my friend over the phone. I go back in the shop for my appointment with my friend and we are both masked at the appointment time and again we were both ignored for at least 5 minutes but a Caucasian lady walks in and they run to greet her plus actually give our appointment times to her until I spoke up and told her we have been standing waiting to be acknowledged and we had the appointment times she was trying to give to this lady. The lady that worked their was rude but I explained to her that the customer service here was awful especially since the sign on the door says NO Mask No Service this Caucasian lady walks in with NO mask on and wanted service right away she had no appointment and was a walk-in. My money is just as green as the next and quite honestly I spent and my friend spent 100 each on our services. I only stayed because my friend had been there before and liked the services they offered. The manager again did try but customer service starts when you walk into an establishment. I will not go back because I would like to be greeted like that Caucasian lady who had no mask on and felt very entitled which clearly the staff felt like she was deserving of this entitlement and that her money was better than my money!!

She completely butchered my fingernails, I walked in Friday morning right before 10 oclock on December 11th, I told her that I needed some repairs and a fill of my Acrylic nails,but she told me oh know you need a whole new set I was there before and charged $40 for a new set with tip..this thin woman about mid 30 rds told me $ 60, I didnt have much of a choice she was the only one there she was awful

So I googled their hours and it says they close at 7, the open sign was also on and the hours were posted on the door that they close at 7. I walk in and some male employee immediately says they’re closed without even looking up at me. I question it saying, “ your door says 7 and your sign is lit?” He replies “yes, it’s an old door. We’re closed because of corona.” I get that hours differ because of corona, but at least turn your sign off and post a sign on the door ? Also handle customers more professionally. I went to go to luminous nail spa 5 min later and they had a sign up of their new hours (closing at 6) and their open sign was pff

The prices are reasonable compared to other nail salons around Englewood and the staff was really sweet. I do recommend making an appointment and having around an hour or two free since they do everything really thorough and take their time!

Today was the 3rd time I’ve came to JJ’s and had another great experience. Jade did my manicure and pedicure and I was treated very well! The salon is clean, modern and spacious. There was calming music playing and no loud talking/chatter from nail techs. I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing. Ive been coming here for 16 years and they have NEVER let me down. I get acrylics and they are always strong with a beautiful color. I tell them to surprise me with the design and its perfect. Pedicures are so relaxing!

Service is great. However, they NEVER open on time!!! Ive sat in the parking lot 40+ minutes waiting for someone to come and open. DO NOT make an appointment. A waste of time. They never honor your scheduled appointment. Although Ive been going here for many years, with a busy, tight schedule, Ive been forced to go to another nail salon.

They are so friendly and always willing g to give me ideas for my nails. I love this spa.

I went in a couple days ago to get my nails done for prom and the guy I got was nice and apologized if he hurt me but after my nails were all done I got home and noticed that they were longer than I asked for they were super thick and every nail had a different thicknesses then the day of prom not even 24 hours later three of my nails on each hand were loose and hurting because they were so thick. The place honestly could have used a good sweeping and mopping. Definitely will not be returning. Oh and my sister paid $37 for my nails just for me to have to get them taken off the day after prom because they were hurting so bad. I went to a different salon to get them off and the whole time the guy was shaking his head because of how difficult and thick they were.

I’ve been going here for a few years, always get the same manicure, nothing changes, they charge whatever they want too, one time it’s 56,next time it’s 42, all for the same service 🤷‍♀️Last time Kim was so rough grinding my nails they felt like they were on fire, today is the last time I’m going there, not happy with the color or shape of my nails didn’t even use the light to set them, wouldn’t listen to my concerns, lots of nail salons to choose from and that’s what I’m doing !!

First time in this place. I will try it one more time but the lady wasnt the most helpful and I just got a polish change and nail trim on my toes and she missed the sides of my big toe nails and didnt go across the trimmed ends with the polish either. Hope the next time I can give more stars.

So other nail salons in the area were extremely busy so I decided to go to J & J. The woman was extremely rough with her technique and my first nail polish I picked she refused to use and she told me to pick another so I did and she refused to apply that one as well. She then picked out her own color that she wanted for me which was dark black . She refused to listen to me about not liking the color and applied it anyway. I now have to pay to get my nail polish off and get the color I wanted at another place. This color may be appropriate for Halloween but seeing its the end of April it looks ridiculous. Not to mention she didnt do a very good job so I have black nail polish all around my fingers.

This really is a hit or miss place I went here for years, and then stopped doing due to having nails consistently break. Went back recently I waited a while but they were nice about it. My toe nails werent trimmed even. But my full set is still in good shape.

Personally I love the outcome of my long coffin shaped nails and the place is clean and nice and the service is quick. I really respect these types of businesses and the people owning them. I normally have a great experience but today they were very rough with me and my fingers still hurt. He was in a rush and told me he was tired, he kept telling me my nails were too long. I felt kind of disrespected. But I still respect the business

My sisters and I have been going there for years !! The service used to be excellent, unfortunately it has slowed went down ! It has been several nail techs come and go over the years. The ones there now areeither extremely slow at providing service, horrible or border line of ok and bad ! I had to have 2 nails repaired within 2 days . In which weren’t my fault it was as if the tips were put to far down. One of the male staff ( that works in the far back table ) fixed one of my nails and it was not smooth and had visible lumps in it. I wouldn’t recommend the services there .

Completely rude! Hours said open till 7 I walk In at 6:20 for a fix that’s it and they said we’re closed when the sign says open then said wait what would you like. They then discuss and the girl said ugh I’m too tired no we’re closed... hahaha ok then!

I only put 1 star because there wasnt an option for negative stars.... This place IS HORRIBLE! my daughter has been going to this shop for 2 years and she always requests Susan because she is the best.. the last couple times she has gone Susan was busy so the owners took her.. You would assume that your in good hands BECAUSE THEY OWN THE SHOP.. But they have made the skin around her nails bleed, rushed her when she was picking her color, refused to do them the way she asked because they said that doesnt look good on young girls they are just EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL..

The first time I tried this place, I loved it! My gel nails lasted for weeks. Sadly I cant say the same about my two other visits. The second visit, my nails only lasted about a week and a half. This last time, I got there before 6 and didnt walk out the door till 7:30. Not to mention, it looks like a 12 year old did my nails. Ive never seen such a bad French tip, Ive got bumps and bubbles in my nails. The gel doesnt even go to the edge of my nail.

When i first walked in, the ladies put me at a table and then left me there for 10 minutes before letting me pick out a color. they weren’t even busy the ladies were just messing around. i picked my color and then got my nails done. they were beautiful, but she filed my sides down and didn’t give me the shape i wanted. she was very harsh and very rude because i didn’t relax my finger. she kept giving me dirty looks and talking in another language. then i had to pick out the colors AGAIN because they forgot them & they were the wrong colors 🤦🏻‍♀️.

I will NEVER be coming back. I didn’t even get serviced because I was tired of watching customers who arrived after me (with NO appointment) get serviced before me because the technicians who were becoming available during my wait “didn’t knowhow to work on long acrylic nails”. Seriously! What kind of shop? Are they all fresh out of nail school? I’ve never heard that reason for having to wait.....EVER!

Have been giving this nail salon more chances than they deserve..last visit they said the wait was only 15 to 20 minutes and one of the young girls set me at a station for a pedicure. The water was scolding hot but she did correct it. This girl was alone trying to handle 3 people at once...I sat there soaking for over an hour before she started with me. Please dont lie about wait times...Ive couldve come back later. Please have more people working the pedicure station as well.

I waited 30 minutes just for someone to come out and get my nails done.I told a lady that I didn’t want gel and then another lady came out and gave me gel. My mom ended up spending $30! Just for a gel when we DIDNT want get.I will say the lady’s are nice. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

I went here with my mom and the women who did my nails did them way to fast and she was on her phone most of the time. The owner did not greet anyone, he just sat in a chair and played candy crush. I got a full set of white tips and they started lifting after 5 days because they did it to fast.

Was told on the phone they werent busy. I have been waiting 45 minutes and now the open techs are painting each others nails

Last time at this salon i showed the girl doing my nails what i wanted with a picture. She said no problem. My nails looked nothing like the picture at all. She just did what she wanted. I wear acrylics and within a few days two broke. Language barrier is very bad. Will not go back.

Today was my first time at this salon. Horrible experience. There was an language barrier between my nail tech and I. She did my manicure & pedicure. It was awful. Im a well groomed lady and take pride in my appearance. My tech did not scrub my feet, did not apply lotion until after polishing, and applied 5 layers of polish in total.. My polish is very thick and isnt dry, after almost 3 hours. I will never go there again. I will stick with the top quality salon that Im used to. The service was horrible but their rates are almost the same as the top quality salon.

First and last time I go here. Its very VERY dirty. Im curious how they pass inspection because its absolutely filthy. I got a basic mani/pedi. My natural nails are long and one had broke. I told her not to cut the rest of them short, but she did. All the way down. When I got home, I had to strip all the polish off and repaint them myself. It looked like a preschooler painted them. She definitely did not stay within the lines. Im not happy.

My friend who has been going to this salon since it opened told me to go here. Ive been going to this salon for 6 years now. I wont go anyplace else. All the techs are great including Kim, the owner. They tell you what will look good and what wont work. If youre a wishy-washy, indecisive client who cant pick a color go some place that can wait for you all day. This place stays too busy to hem and haw.

I have been going to this same nail shop since I was 16 I am now 35. It is nothing like it use to be.The service is terrible. The nail techs are very rude. They dont like it when you ask for a nail design. They rarely EVER get new nail colors in. And they try to rush you while doing your nails to get to the next customer. Very disappointed. We need more local nail shops in Englewood. Badly.

So Ive been going to this shop for a little over 4 years now and today I can honestly say I was really pissed all the way off..Long story short my regular nail tech was on vacation so another tech had done my nails and another tech had done my toes.She painted my toes and for some reason removed all the polish and repainted them again. I sat for about 18-20 minutes under the dryer, walked to my car and drove home (right off Taywood) put one foot out got back in the car and went back to the shop. One of the techs that has a booth in the back was getting smart with me, talking about me to other customers saying that left to soon and didnt let my polish dry. So the tech who had done my nails repolished my toes said that the other tech didnt shake the polish up enough because the polish was doing same thing to her. I thanked her and tried to pay again she told me no it wasnt my fault but as I was leaving the same person was still running mouth about me to the customers saying that I should have let them dry longer..Im very disappointed because I really like my regular nail tech and I always tip her well but I think Ill be in search for a new shop.

HATED it! Got a pedi and the lady was so ruff. Not professional at all. Scratched the sides of my feet with the stone and then blamed it on me because I shaved a day earlier. What the hell. I was there an hour and not one time did she speak to me until she noticed my leg and feet all scratched. I will not return

I go to this nail salon often. What I dont like about this salon is that the staff rarely greet their customers when they enter. At times the staff will stare at you but will not speak.This salon would gain 50% more clients if they consistently greeted clients as they enter. The workers are excellent but I must admit I stopped going for awhile because I felt that they didnt value my business.

Been going here for years prices descent iv e always been a walk in client. Today i went in signed in girl seen me sign in i chose color sat down same girl as me to sign u. Whom never put her mask off her face told her I did sat down to wait moved to different chair to watch tv while there approximately 15 mins man doing mani finally got up another whom didnt remove his mask u couldnt understand him funnaly u said your asking me to leave?. Still couldnt get a wait time. Let $ walk out door. I didnt see owner in there she never would let $ walk out.

When your nails are so bad that you have to go home and repaint them yourself after spending $40+.. not happy. They lasted about 10 days and almost all of them fell off on the same day, cheap and awful quality. Not to mention nail techs that look 14 years old.

Tech dug his nails into my fingers/hands. My nails are poorly shaped and jagged. He thinned them out so much from buffing and filing that my once strong and healthy nails are now thin and weak. It was dirty and unkept. They were impolite. Never ever returning to this business ever again.

Terrible service. Was seated to get my nails done and sat there at the station for 10-15 minutes. Was then told to move so they could do another ladys nails and was completely ignored by other staff members while sitting at another nail station. Finally had to just walk out. My first experience wasnt that great but its the closest nail salon to me so i went today and this young lady did her thing im on my nails!! Ask for her she will get u right and for those of us who get up before polish is dry (me) lol she will fix it for u!!

I picked a mood color I thought was burgundy and red when she put it on it was more of a brown and red I said hold up because I dont like it. She said thats the color you picked and kept going. It clashed bad with the gold accent color I picked, so I asked her to take the gold off she kept saying that was the color you picked I said I know but I dont like it. Finally she took off the gold while her co-workers stood around laughing and speaking the naitive language. I was gonna give her a $10 tip for labor if she charged me the right price but she charged me $52 when both of my coworkers got the same thing and the price was $42 wont be going back!

I got acrylic nails for the first time here. I didnt know how strong they were supposed to be, but by the end of the first week of having them, I had already lost 4 nails! I figured my lifestyle wasnt fit for having acrylics. I decided to try again and recently went to Walmart to get more acrylics, and those stayed on until they grew out and off, I mean they were truly invincible. The staff was nicer at Walmart and I felt more welcome and comfortable. Walmarts prices were better too. All in all I wouldnt go to j&j unless you want crappy thin acrylics and you care about having a luxorious waiting chair

Usually I go to Luxury Nails over on Miller Lane in Vandalia, but Ive wanted to try this place out. The girl who did my nails stopped at least once a minute to turn around and watch the TV, when she was using the electric filer thing she cut four of my cuticles and continued to go over where she had cut them making them bleed. When she glued the tip on it got stuck to my skin and she left it there, putting acrylic over it so the nail was extremely thick! I got them done not even a week ago and three have already come off. Awful quality.

Ive been coming to Nails 4 U since they opened almost 10 yrs ago. I have always been satisfied with my nails, the cleanliness of the salon, & the friendly staff & owners. I would recommend them to everyone for any of your manni, peddi, & tanning needs. 10 STARS

I’m only giving one star because I can’t go negative!!! Horrible place, dirty and rude people! My nails looked bad after 3 days. The gel started to peel within 2 days!

They do good job its just when I came in they people that came in after me with no appointment go ahead of me I been waiting for about hour a the table looking AT everyone get nalis done it like they dont see me this never happen before.

My nails cracked within one day of service. I set an appointment for repair, went in to the salon two days within a week and they did not honor the appointments.

One of the only places available to walk in with no appointment. However, they are not very clean, or organized!Prices are descent.

They have cockroaches & bedbugs. They have terrible service. They are very rude. The tanning beds aren’t clean. There’s toenail clipping in the foot bath.

Rude... rush job, and tacky. I wont go back, I suggest nobody else waste there money there.
