I used to come here all the time, and never had any problems until today when I decided to get a no chip pedicure. I have never had a more painful experience when getting a pedicure. The lady made me bleed multiple times and the polish job is so messy. Paid $55 for something that I could have done a better job myself. Super disappointing because I was looking forward to a nice and relaxing experience to treat myself, and instead I left bleeding and hating how the paint looks.
Their staff is engaging and friendly. I had a manicure and pedicure, which made it to the 1 week mark without chipping. This was my first time there and I will definitely be back. Reservations are helpful.
I scheduled an appointment for a full set and pedicure. I waited 45 minutes. Why schedule me if you cant keep the appointment? This has happened at least 3 times. The lady that did my pedicure did a horrible job. She barely got any cuticles and didnt even polish my toes properly. She would leave the sides unpolished. She would constantly get up and talk to her coworkers instead of focusing on the pedicure. They sit there and talk and they arent paying attention. I mean we are paying them for a service. I felt like they are doing me a favor.
My regular shop was busy they were taking appointments. It was busy when I went but the wait wasnt too bad. I got a deluxe pedicure, they did a decent job.
I waited 25 minutes with my feet in an empty bowl-no water in it. Just ask me to come back if you cannot take me right then. There were foil pieces on the floor and the tray attached to my seat was dirty. Finally when my pedicure was underway my toenails were barely filed and the heels barely exfoliated. The woman looked everywhere but at my feet. In the midst of having lotion put on my feet and legs, my pedicurist got into a very loud conversation with a man working there. They were shouting to each other across the room and then she just got up and walked up front in the midst of working on my feet. Not relaxing-not ok. To top it off, I had to go back to get sloppy nail polish fixed. I do not recommend this place. I usually go elsewhere and I will certainly never return.
Didnt clean up or cut down nails when doing acrylic nails. Very rushed job. Customer was okay but is way too expensive for what the ends result was. There are way better places to go in Elmhurst.
Was over charged and the staff would not let me see a manager or even make me understand the extra $15 took from my debit card. I hate being mistreated and pay for it.
A little pricey but so worthy it. They are clean and do an amazing job.
I called before going in for a mani/pedi- no chip. I am aware the fast way of taking off the polish is to file it off. This also damages your finger nail at the same time. Because they file your finger nail as well. Thats the burning sensation. I asked the boy to stop because it was getting hot. I am in a body brace so I am unable to stay in 1 position very long. The way you are suppose to SOAK the polish of takes about 10 minutes NOT 2 or 3.My first experience was amazing! I tipped very well! I wish I had gotten her name! They lost a custumer over that.
Great service and great price
We had made appointments which they started 25 minutes after the scheduled time. During my pedicure the employee tried to up-sell me to higher priced pedicures several times. It seems that barely anything is included with the basic pedicure. When I refused to agree to a higher priced one she became way less friendly and rushed through my pedicure. My manicure service was also very rushed and she spent half the time on the phone scheduling other appointments. My nails chipped after two days. I usually do not write reviews of places but I would never return here.
Be aware no walk-ins, only accept appointments but it seems like no one answers the phone.
The question is, what happened to this place? Covid? Laziness? Lack of customer appreciation? I honestly felt like we were holding a gun to their head to do a simple pedicure. If these are new owners they have lost our business. If it is the old owners, you have lost our business. Thanks for the 3 cuts on my toes and the cold water.
Took my daughter and Auntie in for manis and pedis. The spa pedi was a great treat and our powder dips look fantastic! Nice, clean shop with friendly technicians and loads of color choices. Definitely recommend.
They always get you in pretty quick
I would give zero stars if it were an option.I came in for a no chip, but the guy (Tuan T) talked me into getting a dip insteadThe dip costs $10 more than the no chipI paid $45 cash and gave him a $10 tipI went home and within an hour, my nails started to bubble.I went back and he reapplied a top coat, but he put cuticle oil on them before they were fully dry and now my nails are bumpyI called looking for a manager/owner, but the girl told me to come back in for a THIRD time to fix. I just wanted my money back since I paid cash, but they refused
I like getting a manicure here. Van is the best and very meticulous. However I am always disappointed when I get a pedicure. I picked a violet color and when she put it on it was grey. I asked for a new color and she just painted over the grey so the color was distorted. When they apply coats they don’t go over the same area so you have weird lines on your nails. This is the second time it’s happened with a pedicure. I’ll continue getting my manicure but won’t for a pedicure.
My adult daughter and I go together. We have so much fun with the girls. Diane is great...she is our favorite! All of the girls are super!
Excellent excellent excellent and beautiful vietnamese women up in there. Have fun!
If I could give zero I would last time I came they messed up my no chip manicure thought I would give them a chance for a pedicure juat awful trying to relax with them all crowded over me talking to each other she keeps stopping to talk mind u I let her know I was on my lunch break from work my nails are all crooked and have bubbles all over them just awful
Very friendly and very pretty place!
Very clean. Practiced social distancing. Friendly and accommodating.
My mom and I come here all the time but won’t be returning. They offer a back massage feature which they should remove from their package. The lady dug her elbow into my spine while laughing, grab pinching my shoulders, and then pounding my back. My neck is in so much pain and my shoulder is bruised. Never again will I go back.
This place is amazing! Very nice atmosphere and the employees are wonderful. They treat you very well and with much respect. My daughter and I had got pedicures and full sets. Our nails turned out beautiful. Best place around. I highly recommend them.
Amira is so friendly! I loved the way she did my nails! Being it was my first time in. I’ll definitely come back and give her my business. She was so patient and sweet and down to earth with me even under a busy and stressful environment! 🥰💜❤️
People are not spaced as they should be, but I see cleaning being done after every client
My first time here and I must say I loved it! Holly did an awesome job!! Will be coming back for sure!!
Very comfortable spa seats😃
I walked in and got a petacur. They wash my feet. Ask if I want any thing to drink. She mad me to laugh joking when she was done she put HOT Rocks my legs.. it was grate.. ask for holly.. thanks
I absolutely love this nail salon high quality, very attentive. They always do a great job . They sterilize their instruments so everything is very sanitary. Ive never bleed, or hurt from them cutting my cuticles. They are worth the money, only place Ill go.
Went as first time customer for a pedicure and it was great! The lady took her sweet time with massage which is exactly what I needed while 8 months pregnant.I gave only 4 stars because I noticed some of their nail polishes were water down.Otherwise would recommend it!
I would give them 5 stars because my nails did come out as wanted. I came to this nail salon a couple times. They over charge you like crazy. Their set price for a full set acrylics is $25, but if you want them a certain shape its $5 extra witch is usually typical. So the couple times i go i always pay $30 for my nails. This last visit they wanted to charge me extra $5 for how long my nails where. Keep in mind all the other times i went i was never charged extra for how long they were. So in total i paid $35 this is crazy. I am just going to go back to my old nail salon because they charge $25 with no extra charges. Crazy management employees sit around on their phones with their dirty feet up on the seats where we sit. Rude staff, but they do good nails witch is bad to say i will no longer come here because of my experience.
Luxury Nails is just what I was looking for: clean and efficient services at reasonable prices with very pleasant employees. I was very comfortable here. Sometimes the nail technician was a little hard to understand, but she was patient and very nice and would repeat for me to clarify. I will definitely go here from now on. The parking is nice and close, too.
My friends and I walked in friendly service very clear the girls were jokey we where all laughing.. we enjoy this hour..
I went to Luxury Nails to get acrylics for the first time. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. That best part is that my nails look amazing!
No. The tech that was doing my nails cut me several times. I started bleeding and he didn’t say anything, instead he ignored it and continue to do whatever he was doing. He didn’t even avoid the cut parts he just painted over it. And also was very disappointed with the shape. I asked for coffin and they were all uneven. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. How are they gonna do nails if they don’t know how to even shape it right??
Hannah truly pampers her clients, spending extra time on a thorough massage in both her manicures and pedicures. She shows interest in her clients and develops strong customer relationships. I always call to book appointments with her and will not settle for anything less than the best. The salon in general is very clean, with prompt and respectful service.
Nail tech Amira is sooo nice, friendly, down to earth. She takes her time in doing your nails, always does a great job. She goes above and beyond to make sure your toe nails look cute. 🙌🙏😊💅
I got a fill no chip cost $40.00. After 2 days they started to chip, by day 5 half were chipped. I was working so couldn’t get in to get them fixed. Day 7 I went back to get them fixed, charged me another $40.00 because had to do them over. Bad customer service. They were not done correctly the first time. I have been going there for a while, will not go back again.
So unsanitary. Id been here a few times in the past and they always did a good job. The last time I came here I got an acrylic fill with a no chip. The tech pried the bottom of my nails off and it was very painful. Then he accidentally cut me with his drill and used a paper towel to soak up the blood and left it crumpled in the corner while he finished my service. At the end of my no chip he went to wipe the residue off my nails and when he did the whole color came off my thumb, and for some reason he wiped the nail polish brush off on that same bloody paper towel, and then put the brush back in the bottle of polish!A few days later my no chip already started peeling off so I went back to have it fixed which they did for free. I got the same guy as the first time, and when I got to him he reeked like cigarettes. After I got back in my car I could still smell cigarettes strongly on my hands as if I had just smoked myself. That made me feel like he just smoked before work and didnt bother to wash his hands. On top of all this all the nail files and buffers used on me already had scuff marks on them which means theyd been used before, who knows how many times 🤢I hate writing bad reviews like this but I felt like I had to warn other people about this place! I wouldnt spend my money here. Its sad because they do amazing looking nails. Too bad theyre so unprofessional and unsanitary.
I’ve gone here for awhile. Sadly it’s changed. I had a guy put on a set of acrylics. He over buffed me so badly that now my nails are super thin and are peeling. I am so disappointed in this place.
I have been coming here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. Prices are good, very sanitary and they all do a great job! (Ive had five different people ) I would highly recommend!
Had potential but perhaps i just got the wrong technician. Overall, not a very friendly place. She did an ok job on my nails but then overcharged me. I called and they said 1 price, then when i got there they charged me a higher price. I called her on it, she voided the higher charge but then said she could not give me a receipt for the correct amount. I said i needed a receipt. Eventually i got 1 but just felt like it was not the most ethical place.
Very disappointed. I get my pedicures here all the time Stacy is WONDERFUL!!! I usually get my nails done somewhere else, but this time I decided to let the technicians here do them. Where as my nails usually last 3wks, my nails have cracked and one even broke at the nail bed 6 days after having them done. I will be looking for another nail tech again. They need to allow or pay for Stacy to do acrylics, gel and power nails as well.
Not all of the employees were rude just apparently the ones I had that day. The man who did my nails was very rude. My acrylics came out lopsided and uneven with bits of blotchy acrylic on the side of my nail. Not to mention the bubbles in my nail polish. The experience was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon.i did not confront the nail techs because this whole experience triggered a very horrible anxiety attack. I also had a women who did my pedicure. She cut my toe really bad and it is still healing a week later. DO NOT recommend. I feel like I was verbally abused the entire time.
Ive come here many times for manicures and pedicures. Every time has been relaxing, the staff has always been kind, and my nails come out looking gorgeous. Ive always thought the price has been worth it. Whether you just take one or two days out of the year to pamper yourself at a nail salon, or you go in on a weekly-basis, this place really is lovely and you will leave happily refreshed.
I had the worst experience today at luxury nails. I have been there in the past and stop going because I felt as though they stopped doing a good job. However, I received a gift card for Christmas and decided to use it today on a dip manicure. I was very disappointed with the experience and the end result. It started with a guy who started to rush to take off my old no chip. He then immediately began to paint my nails for the dip. He was going so fast and I could tell the nails looked sloppy. He used so many coats, and did not clean around the nail that my nails are now so thick and has glue all around them, and underneath the nail. When it began time to file them he used the electric file to trim my cuticules and he made me bleed on 3 of my nails. I also asked him to file them a certain way which he could just not seem to do. While I was waiting for him to finish he started to do another persons nails! So I sat there and waited. He rubbed lotion on my forearm (which hurt more than it felt good) and told me to wash my hands. I went to wash my hands and when I came back he went back to the other customer. I ask if he was done and he said yes. So I walked up to the front and waiting 5 min to pay. When someone came to check me out I asked if there was something to take all the glue off my nails and she said no, it’ll come off throughout the day. I paid with my gift card and left. I will not return, not even to use the rest of my gift card. I never write reviews, and I always try to make the best out of situations, but this was rediculous.
Very good place, excellent service, the girls take their time with you and you feel pampered 😉👌
Very clean, very big. My mom and I love to go here, Cherry is our favorite tech.
Stacy has done my pedicures she is Amazing, friendly and helpful. The staff overall is great!
Went to get my nails done and 2 days later nails started coming off. I had to buy nail glue to try to keep them on . Also I got the no-chip polish but my polish is chipping and my polish is changing colors . Also with the nails comes off it took some of the skin off my fingers. I’m my opinion that was a waste of $45.
Nail tech was nice but a little pushy trying to get an upcharge and i feel as though there could have been more attention to detail. Had a pedicure and it came out kind of sloppy, filing was rushed through so shape of my nails isnt great and she cut my big toe with the cuticle trimmer... which has been uncomfortable allday. glad i didnt opt for the manicure too.Update. I decided to give them another try. I scheduled an appointment for 6:30, they close at 8. I arrived at 6:30 was told to wash my hands post and select my colors. As I was selecting my colors a woman came up to me and said oh no you come back tomorrow and sent me out the door. I will not be returning tomorrow.
I will never come in this place again. They had me wait for about 20 minutes to tell me”I’m sorry but you will have to come back in the morning” Really Lady I have a job and you just lost a customer who would never step a foot in your nail salon again. I’m super pissed. 😡 I could have with somewhere else. And I was only getting an overlay. 👎🖕🏼
The place is nice, but service sucks!! The no chip manicure last one week and starts coming off, then I wanted diamonds and he didnt even put glue just nail polish, that same day they fell of. Then when I paid they told me I needed to leave tip and no less then $10 I was like really???? Never coming here again!!
IF I Could give the Lowest rating I would I usually go to the Nail salon in Rosemont its called Lee Nails they are the best. Figure SINCE I stay out this way I would try something different me an my husband went for a pedicure an what we wanted done we couldnt get done we had to pick a package so stardard is $25 and the deluxe is $40 which includes the scrubbing on your feet an they charge me $5.00 to remove my nail polish from nails isnt that apart of the pedicure. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE.
This was my go to nail spot for a few years, the staff always has an attitude but it never bothered me cause I’m very simple with my nails and go in for the same thing each time. They wanted to charge me $5 per nail I wanted colored. No design, just a plain color. It was ridiculous so I told them I just wanted a clear coat then and they rolled their eyes. THEY knew they were over charging me but got mad when I refused to go with what they wanted to charge me. Not to mention how rude they are about everything. An older guest sitting next to me asked if she could switch her nail color before the technician started and the technician told her to hurry up. It’s shocking to see how rude they are and how much they don’t care. 0 stars if I could
Quinee is no longer here!! Very disappointed she the best and she truly cared about her clients! Quinee let me know where you go next because where you go, I WILL FOLLOW!! No longer will I going to this place!
Love it they always go absolutely beyond and do everything that is possible to make sure I get what I want!
This place is really a hit or miss for me. Last week, an older man did my nails and literally made my finger bleed - not just a little, a LOT. He didnt apologize and just kept wiping away the blood without even acknowledging it. Kinda unsanitary, painful, and inconsiderate. Not to mention afterwards all of my acrylics were different lengths.
I had an extremely bad experience this past Wednesday. I was annoyed first because the workers were rude to their customers, I observed them laughing and making fun of another customer. So right away I had a bad vibe. I got a no chip manicure and the guy cut me with the cuticle cutter and made me bleed (he said sorry). I continued to try to stay positive. Exactly that day you can see the no chip was not done correctly, one was already coming off and my nail Polish changed to a yellowish white from a pink color. I also got a pedi the lady did a half a** job on my cuticles and nail Polish was bad. I still left a tip to be nice, will never go there again. I learned my lesson and hopefully this comment will prevent other potential customers to not waste their money at this place. I usually go to LA nails in villa park they always do a great job, they just closed earlier the day I needed my nails done.
I love the way they do nails and pedicure its very relaxing been going for years
As always the service was great. Ive been a client for a few years and Im always happy with my nails. The techs are friendly and welcoming.
Tried other places. Always come back here. The best.
This was the WORSE place I have EVER been to for my nails and I have been to many places and have been getting my nails done for the last 7 years. They were so rude and rushed my appointment to the point that I got cut TWICE very deeply and all of my fingers were red and puffy from him rushing filing my nails. I got acrylic nails and he didnt even make my nails the same shape nor length! I literally have an infection in my cuts. The only reason why I went was because I got a free gift card to get my nails done. Never will I ever go there again.
QUINNIE IS GONE..WHY??...TIME TO GO ELSEWHERE!!..SHE IS THE BEST.
I have gone to this location randomly over the last 10 years, but I will never go back again! The last two pedicures I have gotten they have destroyed my nails. After the first time I thought it was a fluke, but two time in a row... nope.
This is the only place Ive been to where no chip has lasted at least a full 2 weeks!!
Worst experience ever. The nail tech was very rude to my daughter. He got upset at her because she asked him a question about her nails. He refused to explain what he was doing and he tells her that he doesnt need her trying to tell him how to do his job. My daughter notice he was anger so she ask if someone else could do her nails. They refuse to provide service to her and told her she could get out if she didnt like the service.
Long Wait without an appointment but very nice ladies...great job on nails
I had gone here before and the service was fine. Today they were very rude and disrespectful to my niece and I. We will not be back again.
My first experience at Luxury Nails was HORRIBLE! The gentleman who did my nails was not very experienced at all. My full set with gel polish was $55; they charged separate for the gel and acrylic, basically paid as if I had 4 hands...and the acrylic is so thick I had to go to a different salon the next day to have them fixed. The nail tech cut 2 of my fingers while filing. Extremely disappointed, will not go back.
The owner was very rude and disrespectful i asked him to do my daughter nails in a chrome finish instead of showing me how it would look with sample nails he continued to tell me the price I told him the price was not the issue i wanted to make sure it turns out right he continued to try an over talk me i told him that would be ok we would get our nails done eles where he made the worker stop doing our pedicures. Very bad services will never go back, very bad experience that happened at the day before my daughters 8th grade graduation.
As much as I like the technicians I go to, I refuse to ever go back. The new management; specifically the small man with heels, is always so rude. What a shame they allow someone like this to run the show.
Charging to remove callouses? Like are you serious? Rushing through a job, just to get to the next customer, leaving me with a nasty looking pedicure is absurd. They are terribly rude, I sat down to dry my nails, she walked away from me, I took my money out waiting for her to come back. When she finally comes back she asks me, in the rudest tone, as if I was walking out without paying, Excuse me, do you want to pay me now? Frankly, this place is over priced, bad quality nail work, and the rudest technicians. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
This place is horrible as far as customer service!. How do you start someone and not even halfway through my pedi you get up and go take care of someone else? I have NEVER been to a place where that has happened. I felt like that customer meant more than me. So for that reason I will never be coming back!. Not one person came to apologize about that situation. It was the worst experience ever. As far as the pedicure alone? Nothing great about it.
Horrible experience . would not recommend coming to this place !!
Love their no chip! Great place for pedi too!
This nail salon is misleading with their prices. They talk in their language and start laughing behind what you said. The nail tech was rude, pushy and had a frown on her face the whole time she worked on my feet. She did a rush job on my feet. Slamming drawers and tools around her work station. This is unacceptable. I will NOT be coming back here again.
Awesome Dip Manicure! See Taun in the first chair!!!
HORRIBLE place. I found a better place with nice staff
Clean facility. Polite staff
Really rude, pushy technician. The water was cold. Charged 55$ for a regular pedicure.
Its always a hit or miss, depending on who you get. They file the nail thin so it breaks then you have to come in to fix it. I always go there for refills. But since my nails have been breaking so much I will not be coming here anymore.
Lena always does a great job
They are very rude and nonchalant in this place. If you’re looking a friendly place to go, this is not it!
I will definitely be back
Fun place. Friendly staff.
The women who did my nails was incredibly rude, she was rushed and hurt me. Beyond that she did a poor job painting my toe nails
Great no chip and pedi
This place is very expensive. I went and got a no chip manicure and a regular pedicure and it was $60. The no chip manicure had a chip in it two days after the manicure, and the employee did not paint the whole nail ( the area near the cuticle has about 2 cm. of not painted nail.
Very rude front desk service, nail service is good though.
The paint job was uneven and the nails were filed poorly and misshapen
Great atmosphere and people
Amy is great
Terrible customer service.
Horrible service, messed my nails up, nail polish was not even, nails were not even, and it cost $50 for fake nails and no chip and they didn’t do the wax after they did the polish and put way to much polish on the nails so it looks fat
Technology for making nails
