Nice place good padicure but not good for manicure they just trimmed nails and change nails paint but no massage and good service for hands.

WORST place ever! The owners are very rude!! They over charge and give the worst attitude when you try to understand why. I came here and the service was TERRIBLE! Very disappointed.

I came here for a gel extension manicure and I love the results! The owner was very meticulous and did a really nice job. Definitely coming back here again for my next manicure.

My girl convinced me to try going to the spa with her. I loved every minute secretly. Im a dude im never exposed to this kind of thing. We both got our pedicures together and it was a fun experience. I would recommend to all my friends

Worst men’s manicure I’ve ever gotten. She buffed them using a machine but there’s visible scratch marks all over my nails. And the nails are uneven.

Have been going here for about 7 years. John and Joanne are the owners and make you feel very comfortable and welcome. Joanne does my nails and I am very pleased with her work. The salon is clean and separate sterilized utensils are used for each client.

I drive almost an hour to get to Venus Nail Spa because they are the best. The salon is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I have been getting my nails done there for about 8 years now. And have recommended Venus to many people. I cant say enough great things about the staff and service.

The last review is interesting because I have never had a bad experience here. In fact, I love this place. They are always accommodating, friendly and reasonably priced. Nick is awesome!! My nails always look great and last awhile. I have not had that experience anywhere else. They treat me well, greet me by my name, and always with a smile. I was referred here by a friend this past winter and I have been a loyal customer ever since. I used to go to Luxi, but I felt like it was getting very expensive and I was starting to be treated like a number and not a person. In addition, the wait there was getting ridiculous even if had an appointment. I have been going to Venus for awhile now and they are fabulous. I too, rarely review places but the review I just read was so crazy that I had to back this place up. They are great, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Some of the most reasonable prices in Edison. Marilyn was very nice and did a good job. Regarding some of the staff above her, they werent very respectful when it came to women conversing amongst others. They were pushy, rude and their were no customers waiting. Otherwise they would have received a five star rating.

I used to go here years ago. Luckily I was able to start coming back after working in the area again. I go to Joanne. Im very picky and I am always happy with them. I was never able to find someone to do them like this place @ any other place.

I am from out of town, staying in New Brunswick on business. Broke and needed it fixed before client meetings the next day and rest of the week. Decided to take a leap of faith based on review #2. I was rewarded witb a quality nail job. The environment is not plush or exotic by any means, but the work is quality. Several nails were lifting, and the kind they had was different than my at home salon. He did a complete set and only charged me what my home salon would have for a fill. BTW, it was Nick, as mentioned in review #2. Moral of the story, dont judge a book by its cover. Support local small businesses.

Do not go here! The man is very rude and the service itself is very outdated. They refused to do several simple designs that I asked and provided pictures of because they didn’t know how to do them. True waste of money!

I ended up coming here with my girlfriend to get a mani pedi . And man i must say i absolutely loved it, the Atmosphere, how sanitary it was, and the people working there were so kind and amazing to talk to . Most places i go to most of the workers do not speak english, it isnt really a deal breaker. But everyone in this salon spoke english and we held amazing conversations . If you come here you not only get top notch service, but you also get to speak to amazing human beings . I recommend this place to everyone i know !

Im definitely not going back to place. I usually go to my girl in Perth amboy but didnt have time to drive over there... so I though okay let me get a quick fill and fix a nail... big mistake. The nail tech was kind but didnt seem to experienced if.i hadnt told her she would have left my nails uneven and one thumb longer than my right thumb... also she nicked my skin where my cuticle is and a few days passed and I ended up getting an infection there they didnt sanitized their equipment.... not going back.

Have been going to this establishment for years now and have always had a good experience. That is until yesterday. I called at 12pm to see if i can come in for a mani and pedi and was told to come in at 4:15pm. I had an event to go to at 6pm, but I figured Id be out in time to go home and change. Well, I arrived at 4:12pm and was told to have a seat. After 45 min I realized I was only going to have enoughh time for a mani and then waited an additional 10 minutes before I left so upset and dissapointed because I was fed up with being ignored. I ended up going to the party without a manicure, being that I didnt have time to go elsewhere, thanks to their unprofessional service. They werent even the slightest bit apologetic, they could have cared less. There was even someone who walked in a half hour after I wase waiting who was sat and tended to. It wasnt even busy. I will NEVER go back there again.

I have gone to this place multiple times, and normally they have been welcoming. The quality has never been up to par, which is why I only attended when a friend of mine needed company! However my visit today was absolutey horrible, I walked in with my friend and was not even akcnowleged, I then assumed that my friend would rely what I needed! Even though I felt uncofortable I decided to keep cool, I waited almost an hour for them to take a client who arrived after me, and for them to continue to ignore me. I have worked in customer service for many years now and understand that things come up, I however wouldve appreciated some acknowledgment! I was overwhelmed with frustration and would not recommend to anyone! Not worth the money or the time!

Family owned business....love the staff ...and my nails

I got a set of acrylic tips with basic polish and gel topcoat. Half of my nails are not even covered with acrylic nor gel. The gel buckled when it was under the light on almost all my nails so now its all messed up. The actual acrylic is already chipping. It also took me an hour and a half when normal it takes an hour. I will not be doing business here again.

Its an older salon but its clean. The gel manicure looked really nice.

First of all, let me start off by saying my plans for today were supposed to be peaceful and relaxed as it is Ramadan and I am fasting. When I get in for my pedicure, the lady puts on the water and then dissapears for 10 minutes. Then, I complain to one of the guys on the staff and he gives me an attitude. Being in a rush, I said I have to go and then asked for a towel angrily. I gave it back to her and then the pedicure lady told me Go back to your country to get a pedicure. Obviously, I am upset and I admit I cursed at her and she f bombed me back and forth several times until I finally walked out. I never reccomend coming here unless you dont mind being treated unfairly. This is the only time I have ever reviewed a place because of this HORRIBLE experience. Thanks
