Love, love, love Brisas!! Theyre the best and very accommodating! They always take good care of me and Im grateful for that!

Brisas Nail Salon is the by far the most incredible nail salon in the area. I drive from South Amboy and wait weeks just to get in with Maria - even though all of the technicians are wonderful, Maria does something that makes my nails last so much longer than anyone else ever has!! The cleanliness is a 10, the customer service is a 10, the color selection is a 10 - I think you get the point. THIS PLACE IS A 10 OUT OF 10. Call for an appointment because theyre literally always booked BUT GO NOW. Youll thank me later.

Im new to this area and tried this salon... and Im so glad I did! Ive gotten several sets of dip with tips, each of them have lasted me at least 3 weeks! Will continue to visit and highly recommend.

I tried dip powder for the first time and they came out wonderfully. Unfortunately, a week later the polish on 4 of my nails cracked at the corners. I called and they fit me in right away to repair the nails. My nails came out looking like new. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Everyone was so Nice the ladies at the gentleman .The vibe was great. . I wouldnt mind going again but only if my nails can last longer than two weeks. I got my nails done last week on the 28th of October .. a few days later already chipped and now even a lot more. It can be frustrating because getting them done is not cheap .. and to not last long its upsetting .. its very hard to find a place that last longer. maybe there is a different way to do things or add so it last longer.

I absolutely love Brisa’s nail salon. I’ve been coming to the location for about a year now and every time I come, the staff are friendly, on-time, and I get quality service for a reasonable price. I’ve overpaid for less quality nail work in the past and Brisa’s is the one place where I feel like I consistently get what I pay for. Highly recommend

As a man I dont know that much about the nail salon industry. I started going to Brisas about 20 weeks ago and would return every second week for a spa manicure and pedicure. I really enjoyed Brisas as it was my Oasis where I could relax after a stressful two weeks away from the kids and work. Normally I would pay the 80 dollars for the services and then tip 20 dollars on top of that. However for the last two weeks I have been without a job and I have not been able to tip as I normally do. Yesterday I had an appointment with the owner Maria. After I completed my services I paid and tipped about 5 dollars. Within three minutes Maria walked back and handed me my tip back and stated that a spa manicure and pedicure was a big job and if I couldnt tip more she rather I not tip. Not only did she do that but she did it in front of employees and other customers. Needless to say I was really embarrassed and I had to speak to a few of my female friends to find out if 5 dollars was really that much of an insult that Maria felt the need to embarrass me in front of half the salon. Most of my female friends confirmed that they normally tip five dollars and 20 dollars was more than generous (when I could afford it). I wont be returning to Brisas but I also felt compelled to share my experience. If the owner is willing to treat a loyal customer like that over a measly five dollars I cannot imagine how she would deal with a more demanding customer with more demanding needs. I will not have to look for another Nail Salon to go to but I can only hope that other patrons dont experience the embarrassment that I did.

My wife and i was there for the Mani pedi for Valentines day. I think by far this has been our best experience in Nail salons. We were not rushed. Our nail techs took the time to cut and make it nice. I enjoyed it and its worth the drive and money.

First time here and was very pleased. Everyone friendly and the place was very clean. Staci did a great job getting my feet summer ready! Thank you! Will be back soon!

Salon is clean, the nail techs are great and professional. Service has always been good, just noticed recently one of their techs to be a bit rude, hopefully her attitude changes.Regardless, I highly recommend this place.

First time getting polygel nails and visiting this salon. My technician was Sandra and she did an amazing job with explaining the differences between gel and acrylic technique. Very satisfied with the outcome and I will continue to do polygel instead of acrylic from now on.

Theres good and bad with this place.The Good: Friendly staff, clean salon, affordable prices. The first time I got a pedicure here I loved it. I came back a second time to get my nails done for my birthday. My boyfriend made the appointment but didnt mention I wanted a full set but they were nice enough to squeeze me in between appointments.The Bad: I wouldve completely understood if I got turned down for the full set, but it was insisted that I could be fit in and it could be done, so I let Yasmin do my nails. They came out absolutely horrible. The nails looked bulky, the French didnt come out straight at all, the shape wasnt what I wanted (and I had a picture). At first the nails were coming along great, but at a point it took a turn for the worst and it went downhill fast. I was so disappointed. Im giving the tech the benefit of the doubt since I assume she was rushing, but dont say you can do my nails and then rush and leave me walking away with something I didnt ask for. The pedi even chipped later that day too. Thankfully a different tech was able to rush me into her salon the next day and they came out stunning.All in all a decent place, but I wouldnt trust them with a mani or pedi for a big event.

Be aware of this place. I dont know what happened to this place. I had been going to this nail salon for quite some time and have wonderful experiences up until recently. I hadnt been able to do my nails in a while and I went in for a gel manicure on Sunday. My appointment was set for 8:15 and my manicurist didnt show up til after 8:45. The owner began working on my nails even though she had clients of her own booked back to back, which i appreciated. Unfortunately, once my nail tech arrived she seemed unapologetic and rushed my nails. By day 2 my nails are chipped, and for a $35 gel manicure i find unacceptable. After calling and speaking to the owner about it she offered me to come in to fix the nail but the times she offered did not work for me as I have little to no help with my toddler son and had no opprotunity to return to the salon to fix it. I say all this to say the entire experience was super inconvenient and I won’t be returning any time soon.

I went here with my fiancée and it was a nice experience overall. We were very pleased with the pedicure service to the point where I was so relaxed I started to dose off lol. However, I recommend for anyone to come here and who knows well probably come back if were in the area.

I came here for the first time and loved the atmosphere, color selection, and customer service. I made an appointment easily on the day of and was seen immediately when I arrived. Diane was wonderful. I will definitely be returning!

I love Yoselins work! She has done my nails about three times now and so far everything has been satisfactory. Before going in they take your temp and you sign confirming certain thing and then you are on your way. The only issue I really have is that the 6ft social distancing isnt always in place so that gives me anxiety but overall a good experience.

Girls are very professional very talented extremely great service and I love the brisa’s special, Joe is amazing I have tried several different nail salons and this is top quality 100%

Staff is very friendly and they don’t make you wait when you have an appointment scheduled. The receptions wipes down the floor and seats after someone uses it. The service is great, I get gel manicure and the technician does not file the top of my nail too much like other places do. She does it manually instead of using the machine, which is what other places use to hurry up.

They were able to fit me in for a last minute appointment for Christmas Eve. Everyone I dealt with was very nice. They seem to be a very busy establishment but based on their work I totally understand that.I am super happy with my dip powder manicure. I had Monce and she did an excellent job!

I have been going to them for three years and I love them every time I go. I have never had a bad experience. I have had Jessica for over a year and she is so talented however all of the techs there are amazing at what they do. Julianna and Jordan have amazing customer service and joe and Maria do a fantastic job running the salon. Highly recommend !

Its a cozy little place in town. Great customer service and I love how the ladies are attentive at all times. Pedicure and manicure are really good. Yoselin is my favorite!!! She is very detailed and meticulous.I have been there 2 times and so far, I am extremely happy with the results.They offer coffee, water, tea and other things while you get pampered 😊

First time here my girlfriend bought a pedicure for my birthday (I feel like she was suggesting something) and the experience was great. The staff was very professional and kind. As someone who does not do things like this often I highly recommend this place.

Best pedicure Ive ever had. The staff are friendly. They have me a really good cappuccino while getting a massage. Diane is excellent. This was my first time visit. I will definitely return. I recommend it.

I called to ask about a gel manicure which ended up being $35 and then when I asked if they soak off gel manicures, I was told yes for no additional charge if I had the gel manicure done by then. When I said it wasn’t, there was an additional charge. I don’t understand why a soak off is additional for new customers. How will you get new customers if you charge them for services that are typically provided to other customers.

The staff was all friendly, however my nail tech used dirty utensils that had clearly not been cleaned at all in between uses, let alone a new pack for each customer which I am used to. My powder manicure didnt last even 2 weeks and for some reason the listed prices are cash only so to use a card to pay its more expensive. Will not be back.

Brisas nail salon is nothing short of amazing. The salon has a very warm and welcoming feeling, and is very clean. The girls are very professional and courteous. Every time I come into the salon, I am offered a cup of coffee, tea, or water within seconds of coming in. The pedicures are through and very relaxing, they even do a hot stone massage (which is included in the price). Also, my regular manicures tend to last over 3 weeks! The only down side is that they are very busy, so I suggest booking your appointment in advance. All of the girls are wonderful, but I would suggest Maria, Alma, Janet or Luz. You will not be disappointed!

I decided to stop by this place to try it out. And I love it. The service is great and they really take care of you. I had my nails recently dont by Jenny and tow of my nails were broken and she fixed them for me. I was just going to let them be but she did a really good job my my nails and also did design. Im so happy my with gel mani I cant stop looking at my hands. I would definitively recommend this place.

I would like to give more stars, but after going to another salon for a GEL MANICURE and only paying $25, I was a little surprised to pay $30 for a regular pedicure. Dont get me wrong, my toes look great and nail technician was very nice, but Ive had enough pedicures and never paid more than $20. Unfortunately, i dont think I will return because of this

Relaxing atmosphere! No drama - friendly technicians and they do a great job! They don’t take walk ins but try to accommodate everyone! Two girls were on tonight and they weren’t staffed to take on anyone! My advice is call them first! You will not be disappointed!

This salon is the cleanest and friendliest Ive ever been to. Nothing in the area even compares. Ive gotten amazing gel manicures that never chip, bubble or peal. The technicians and owners respect the customers and have great teamwork and customer service. They even offer complimentary tea, coffee and hot cocoa!

I made an appointment for a pedicure. This was my first time at that salon. The salon is clean and the atmosphere is relaxed. I was serviced by Diana. She was friendly and professional. The staff knows what they are doing.

I had to write a review for this place. I have been going to the same salon forever-- Expert Nails in Perth Amboy which is the worst. I just didnt feel like driving in to Amboy so I picked the closest place I could find to my house. Im so happy I stumbled upon Brisas nail salon. First of all, its a small spot so an appointment is a must if you value your time. I saw that online so I was sure to make one. They sat me down as soon as I walked in the door. The girl from the front desk offered me a cup of tea. It was nice and quiet, even though 90% of the chairs were full. Stacie gave me my manicure & pedicure and she was so careful and meticulous. I got the basic mani/pedi special which is only $40 and I really felt like it was a spa experience. I didnt feel rushed or unwelcomed, it was great. Afterwards, when you sit to dry your nails, they give you a little shoulder massage. Its something so simple but so appreciated. I couldnt believe the care and attention to detail that I received at this place for such an inexpensive service.

I love this salon. My manicures always last at least a week, and the manicurists are very accommodating and sweet. They give you coffee /hot chocolate/ water.

So Ive been here once before, it seemed like a calm and clean environment, so I decide to o try it again with my Grandmother, when I walked in no one even greeted us with a simple hello, then when I sat to get my nails done the women was giving me an attiude instantly. She was asking me where I got my nails done before saying that my nails were so uneven and bashing the nail salon had previously gone to. When she was finishing up my nails she had an appointment walk in. So she started to rush and was going so fast told me NO when I asked for gel top coat claiming she didnt have time she had to go to her other client. Then when I didnt like the sparkle she put on I asked her to take it off and she started taking all the polish off all my nails and said next time go back to the nails salon you went to before. She and the other women that was doing my Grandmas nails ganged up on us and started giving us both an attitude until finally the owner stepped in and had to finish my nails because the women doing mine was so ignorant. I will never go back to this nail salon nor will I refer it to ANYONE. They do not know how to book appointments accordingly and some of the workers are VERY rude.

I had 3 hangnails after my UV hard - gel manicure. The woman also cut my cuticle with her tool, so it was my first time ever that I bled during the manicure and after.She also made a really inappropriate comment fetishizing African American men. She asked me my ethnicity (alright) and then asked of my husbands ethnicity (...alright), and upon learning that he is black, said that she told her husband that she has always wanted a black boyfriend. Thats disgusting, dehumanizing and racist. The receptionist thought it was funny. If you dont see whats wrong with that statement, go read a book. Go interact with people outside of your ethnicity. Or maybe its better that you dont.My thumbnail broke a few days later, so I returned in order for someone to fix it for free. But that will be the last time I ever go there.Seriously, I dont understand how this place has such great reviews. The only reason I went here is because of the positive reviews. So if youre ignorant or humor ignorance, and also like to torture your nail beds, by all means, go here.

This is what they did to my face after whole face waxing!! Your call if you want to risk it! Maria the wax lady took 1 hour and 15 mins for the face and underarm and this is what I got and not even getting better!

Went in there today with my 3 year old daughter. The staff were great. Sarah did my mani and it looks awesome. everyone was so sweet to my daughter. She got a mani/pedi done by Jennifer. She was even able to do a cute design on her nails. I had another girl do my pedicure and it was so nice. She really took her time. I never felt rushed or like I was just a number. They seemed to have good relationships with their regular clients that came in. We will be going back there for sure.

Well Im going to add my own glowing review of this place. I needed my nails done yesterday, on Memorial Day, and my regular spot was closed. So I hit Yelp to try to find a spot that was open. I read the great reviews for Brisas and luckily they were open and were able to accommodate me within the hour. Im so glad! I LOVED my experience here. I love the clean and peaceful atmosphere and the wonderful service provided by my stylist, Grace, as well as the owners Joe and Maria. Grace gave a wonderful pedicure with a fabulous massage and so far the color gel mani looks great. I really think Brisas is giving my regular spot a run for their money. They are not as convenient as my regular spot, which is 5 minutes from home, but I think I may have found a new spot. I went the other day for the first time being new to the area. I liked it a lot since I called super attentive just to give you the appointment, when I got to the appointment they understood me immediately and I really liked Monces work, the pedicure is fantastic and I loved the manicure. I will return without a doubt !!!
