First off my pedicure was good so I’ll start with that but otherwise Right away the nail lady got mad at me for saying I wanted them longer (the length ended up being fine). She proceeded to file my nails really rough. I asked for a simple “21” for a nail design since my birthday is Thursday. It turned out TERRIBLE but I didn’t say anything because I didn’t need her abusing my fingers again. They also charged me for the second color even though it’s on 1 finger (don’t know if this is a normal thing l) The rest of my nails look good but the “21” really ruined it. I will not return.

The woman who did my nails listened to none of my instructions, I got there at 1:45 for my appointment set for 2. I was the first one there and nobody even acknowledged that I walked in. At 2:15 when I finally got seated, my mail lady was running around and didn’t greet me, nothing. She didn’t start doing them until almost 2:30. Throughout the whole appointment, she kept answering phone calls and would not focus on my nails, which resulted in multiple mistakes such as smeared lines, colors in the wrong order, etc. I asked for fall colors, a gradient from light brown to dark brown, but I wanted my thumb white. My pinky and ring finger (all though you can’t tell in this lighting) are both shades of PURPLE. I wanted the darkest brown on my pinky, and she put it on my middle finger, right next to the lightest color, which is not at all what I asked for. Then, when she was looking at my reference photo, she used her open container of nail glue for a phone stand. There is now a big white dot on my phone from nail glue drying onto it. I am so displeased with my experience and have no intentions of coming back.

I have been going to Tips and Toes for 7 to 8 years. I usually see Ben but he had recently moved.Today I saw James. Me and him Instagram message to see if he could do what I wanted done with my nails. He said yes!My nails do not look like the Quality of the photo. They are cute but not worth the prices I was charged. When he checked me out, he told me $91 not including tip!! Which I wouldn’t have a issue with if he achieved what I wanted.When I called later to discuss my issues with my nails; the ladie on the phone said to me “James discussed the price prior to the application” (not true otherwise I would t have called) and there’s nothing that they could do for me. They sat and argued on the phone yelling and insisted I was wrong for calling them. Then told me to come in tonight to fix it and never come back to there business again.My appointment was at 9:30 and I left at 11:30He did my pinky finger 4 times than the other fingers one by one.I love James work but this doesn’t look like what I wanted.I will not be recommending Tips and Toes to anyone anymore. I have never been so unimpressed with the customer service an unprofessionalism. It’s a damn shame

I love this nail salon. I get acrylic every 2-3 weeks and I’ve been making my appointments with Ben. He is amazing and would highly recommend booking an appt with him! I never leave there dissatisfied.

I made an appointment with Ben a few days ahead of time, I arrived at my scheduled time and only had to wait a few minutes for him to finish cleaning his table.I just told him what colors and shape I wanted and Im blown away by the results!

First time getting my nails done, he did them absolutely perfect to the way I wanted, definitely coming back here

My daughter introduced me to this place for mothers day nails. Very professional, beautiful nails. Very friendly, and very talented.. Ive had 3 sets of nails since and they are beautifully done. Thank you. I appreciate it. Highly recommended.

I went into this salon to get a fill. Prior to going, my pinky nail had fallen off, but typically salons will not charge extra for one nail off and if they do it’s no more than $2-3. During my session, the lady has ripped off two more nails, which HURT so clearly they were not going to fall off anytime soon. When coming to ring me up, they had charged me “full set gel”, I asked if it would be considered a fill since I had came in with 9 nails on. They told me that since they ripped off 2 nails, they were going to charge me a full set price. I may have overlooked this ridiculous price as this is the only salon I USED to go to in EC, but her attitude and side comments were very unpleasant - I go to get my nails done to relax. I left very unhappy and will not be coming back.

We came in when they opened and we were lucky enough to be squeezed in for mani-pedis, so definitely make an appointment when you come here. Even the customers who had appointments had to wait, but that’s just how it is when a bunch of walk-ins come in at the same time. The guy in charge had a little attitude with us because we were indecisive walk-ins. It was very busy and usually not on a Wednesday, so a lot of employees showed up and saved the day. But I could see the panic in the eyes of the guy giving me the pedicure as he constantly glanced at the door when people walked by and then when the guy in charge said something to him. He was very distracted and he was in a rush for the next customer that he forgot to give me a design and flip flops. But in conclusion, the guys should learn to still be polite and attentive to paying customers under pressure.

First time visitor, great pedicure and stunning design work

As a first time customer I really enjoyed it!! The guy who did my full set did it exactly how I wanted and they look amazing! It was a nice experience, the only thing you need to prepare for is a bit of a wait depending on the day you go, but I didn’t wait more than ten minutes :)

My experience was perfect with Tokyo!!!BUT MY SISTER HAD HER NAILS CHIP OFF TWO DAYS AFTER😡😠

I called ahead to make an appointment. They were very busy so I had to wait about 10 minutes, but it was definitely worth it! Love my new nails!! (pink and white acrylic tips)

Love, love, love my nails! The man who did my nails did an excellent job and was very good about checking to make sure I was happy with the length, color, etc. of my acrylics. Seriously great experience and will definitely be back in the future. Wish I hadn’t been so distracted filling out the COVID-19 acknowledgment form so I could have caught his name. Crossing my fingers I can figure that out and request for him next time!

It was wonderful to be back at Tips and Toes again!! They do beautiful miracles with my hands and toes! My husband also loved it!! Definitely recommend!!!

I went in today and got an amzing french tip set done by my nail tech Jim. I have tourettes syndrome and he is always so patient with me and very kind. I thought I was going to be treated differently because of my tics. Bit they were very understanding l. Thanks to Kim the manager for just being a great business woman and making sure I felt welcome and loved. Jim and Kim will be seeing me again.

Was recommended to come here to do my nails by another salon. Got my nails done and they look really pretty! The guy that did my nails did a great job and gave me free design on my nails as u can see in my pics. Id recommend going to this store for their great services. No appointments needed but if want something to be done specifically then feel free to do so.

I would have to give them a rating of a D. Perfect fit because the person name who did my nails were named that.When I first talked over the phone I was told for the taking off the nail and new set it is 45. Then when I get there it is 50. Then once I was done it was 60. The length was not the length I wanted and I made that clear but the dude that was working on my nail cut them at the length he thought was cool. Then he filed way too much on my skin that left my hands hurting all night so much that I thought they were infected. I expect with to be paying 60 I would get a good job but between some of the nails being lumpy because the fill wasn’t smooth and the coffin shape on my nails being crooked, the only thing I would say is that the color and the smoothness of the nail polish plus color looks good. Also glad I am from California and wasjust passing Thur because the vibes from some women in there plus stares were uncomfortable

Had to wait 45 minutes to get my nails done, even with an appointment. They cut my toe pretty badly. I had used them previously, had a good experience and then a bad experience, where my finger tip was cut with a drill. Tried to give them another chance, do not think Ill be returning.

Really loved my pedicure but didnt love the wait. Was told it was going to be a half hour wait and I waited over an hour and fifteen minutes. Definitely make an appointment beforehand

I really like their work/talent/quality but I am very annoyed with the in-shop arguing between two male employees on the evening of Monday 1/14/19. It was very unprofessional and wasted a lot of my time, theirs, and other customers waiting.

When I went in my nails were SO short. Look up the shortest nails in the world and that was about how short my pinkie nail was. Even though they were tiny the nail tech was still able to do a fantastic job on acrylic nails

Really good about getting you in one time, but not the friendliest of staff. I went to the same person and asked for the same exact thing but they told me it costed $6 more than what I payed last time so I was confused and a little upset. Also my fill wasn’t right to the cuticle so it already looked a few days old and the filing job was horrible as some of my nails were very slanted. This was the first bad experience I had with them, but I think I’ll have to take my business elsewhere

I would definitely make an appt--they get really busy! Not much for direction when you walk in (nail polish samples are on key chains, peruse at your leisure) very strong chemical smell. Very friendly service and they do a wonderful job!! I highly recommend the dip nails-- Im going on 3 weeks and not one chip!

Tristan does my pink and white and is amazing! Great personality. I am always treated with great care. Shop is always very clean.Too bad he is no longer there. The place is now dirty, unprofessional, rude and over-priced.They charged me almost $70 for glow in the dark gel with a 1000 petal lotus on each ringer finger.They were dull looking after 24 hours. Started popping off after 72 hours and Bagan to change odd colors of some faded blue.Those were my birthday gift... It was horrible!! I love coming here because the service is amazing and its cheap. I mean, 35$ to refill acrylics isnt too shabby and I enjoy coming here. I have only gotten a pedicure here once and it was pretty nice. Nothing too special but it wasnt the worst in the world. The staff here are super nice and are just pleasant people. I highly recommend and i am 100% satisfied.

Took the girls in for a polish service for my daughters birthday, they were super busy but still fit us in on time for our appointments. Very reasonable price for little girls polish job and good customer service!

I have been coming here once a month for over 3 years. I have always been really happy with my nails and the service I have received. Until today. I had my nails done 1 week ago. For the design I wanted the lady had to do a white base then apply the blue on top, otherwise you could not see the blue due to the nails being painted black. It looked awesome for the first 2 days. On Saturday the blue started to fade. Now instead of having a blue stripe across my nails, its a blueish, purplish and whitish stripe. To note the lady had to do a white base under the pink design I had done on 2 of the nails and that still looks perfect. I went in today to have them fix it. The guy wanted to charge me to fix it. I dont believe I should be charged to fix what wasnt my fault. Im thinking it was bad polish or something. Not sure if Ill be going back or not. I miss the old owners.

I have been a customer for three years and very pleased in general. On Wednesday I went in to get something nice done for an event on Friday. I was told the dipping powder is the way to go. So I spent $45 to do it. By Thursday both thumb nails had huge cracks in them. I call Friday ion my first break to explain what happened. I was told to come in at 5 pm. I explained I needed to be leaving for the event at that time. Then I was told I could come in Saturday. I told him again that I had just had them done and two broke, and that i only needed them fixed quick before my event. I have been a loyal customer for three solid years, never going anywhere else. I have waited 15 to 20 minutes past my appointment time many times without complaint. I always leave a tip. They cracked within 24 hours of getting them done, and I was willing to pay to get them fixed. The guy just told me that he couldn’t help me. Really? So upset.

Great service and great pedicure

Terrible experience, got gel on my nails and the lady missed putting the top coat on a couple nails so the polish chipped, I went in the next day and they fixed the couple of nails and charged me $10. The lady tried to tell me it was my fault that the nail polish was chipping. Definitely will never go back.

I went in for a fill as I normally do and had an appointment at 10, I was there a bit early and waited for 15 minutes for Ben. I understand that they sometimes run behind. Ben filled my nails and it was awful. You can see where the fake nails have end and my nails have grown out. I asked why this was and was told I needed to ask for a specific type of powder to be used. Never in all my time have had too ask for a specific type of fill. My nails look awful, I was asked what could be done about it and he kept asking me what I wanted too do about. He was still going to charge me for the fill when I finally said I should not be charged for the awful job that was done. I will never go back there again. I miss Steven,he was great. Service and quality sucks there. I normally do not write reviews, but this time I felt I should have a voice.

Went in to get acrylics and as much as the atmosphere is nice and looks decently clean the work is completely sloppy. Ive had my nails done plenty of times before and these are by far the worst quality I have ever received. The nail tech was sloppy with his work and left chunks of acrylic under my nails and got glue and acrylic all over my fingers. Along with one of my nails cracking and another one starting to peel up. I called and asked for a refund and was advised to come into the store. The owner was extremely rude to me, and said he would fix them. I told him I just wanted a refund and he said he would but not until they cut my nails off and to wait half an hour. So let me get this straight.. Put my nails through more damaging after your staffs poor workmanship. I dont think so. Needless to say I just took it as a wash but I will never be going again.

My daughter and I went for pedicures. Weve been many times but on our last visit, I felt pretty displeased with the service. The gentleman doing my pedicure basically cut my pedicure short because I turned down the upcharge pedi. They also asked three times if I knew my child had picked out gel polish. Because children shouldnt have gel polish? If you want to feel judged, this is the place!

My throbbing toe!! My pedicure consisted of the young lady digging and snipping into the corners of my big toe!! After asking her to stop shes hurting me!! She said no, Ill make it better😖Now Im laying awake with a throbbing infected toe!! Be aware....

The girl who did my pedicure was very skilled, but then suddenly got up and left when she finished and some guy sat down and said he was doing my polish. It was confusing to know how to tip and was just abrupt with the technician change. Nothing was explained and I had no idea what was the reason for the change. I will go back because they did a good job.

Went in today because I broke a nail. I fully expected to pay for the repair. To my pleasant surprise, Kelly(who initially applied my full set)fixed my nail and I wasnt charged for it. I definitely plan on returning...

I usually really enjoy my experience at Tips and Toes. The pedicures are excellent and they spend time making sure you feel pampered. Lately Ive had a little trouble with the service. The man who did my gel polish wasnt able to find my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice in color, then left me waiting at the nail station while he went to smoke a cigarette. The smell of his cigarette breath really put me off throughout my manicure, and he seemed like he was rushing through the process to get me out the door. My nails turned out very inconsistent in shape and length. I wish they would put as much effort into making a manicure experience as enjoyable as my pedicure experiences have been.

This was my go to nail salon for over a year but will not be anymore. The past 2 times I have made appointments in advance I have had to wait 30+ minutes. At that rate there is no reason to even make an appointment when they cant get you in on time. I truly feel like the service has gone way down because of this. They are rushing to get you in and out. The last time I was in my dip manicure chipped within 2 days. I paid $40, I expect my nails to last weeks. Chipping within two days is not acceptable.

I had the worst experience at Tips and Toes. I had an appointment for two, with the intention that we would be together. The staff working acted like we were bothering them when we asked to be together. I had a younger gentlemen doing my nails. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable with things he was saying. For example: if you mess up your nails I will kill your friend. SO WRONG. He also embarrassed me in the salon by telling me I had no idea how to hold my hands under the lamp (little does he know I study this as well). Not only did I recieve poor customer service, but the sanitation was awful. The workers were passing tools off from my friend to I. Very, very disappointed. I will not be back.

This trip was disappointing to say the least, 1st trip, the woman did a decent enough job, staff friendly enough, 2nd visit the young man who did my nails, he had me in and done from his station in less than 15 mins, once he applied the acrylic, and he filed down my nail just a bit, I asked him to put more white on the tip, after all customer DOES come 1st, he stated I dont have time I charge $5 dollars more, 1st off, I made an appt, so you make the time, after all isnt that your JOB? Wasnt very happy with this last visit, the young man was rude and not very willing to do his JOB, I wouldve tipped more, but I didnt have time to tip

I went in to have a mani and pedi and decided I just needed a polish change on my toes. The man I talked to laughed at my request and I asked if that made sense. He proceeded to tell me that normally people get the full pedicure and just a polish change on their fingers. I then asked okay, it’s possible though? And he said yeah if you want it get it, but sit down. I then sat down, thought about it and decided I didn’t want to be treated that way and left.

I keep coming back to this salon. I usually have an image that I have found on Pinterest for certain nail designs and I have never been dissatisfied.

Amazing! I went the second day they were open, over a month ago. Only one guy working but he was nice and did great work! Definitely recommend this place.

Best place to relax

Steven and Kim do not work at this nail salon anymore and the quality of the work has gone down since. I went in for a gel manicure today and was specific as to what I wanted the woman gave me the opposite of what I wanted. I had let my nails grow so I could get a perfect manicure and now theyre shorter than they were when I entered. I am extremely frustrated and will not be returning!

The staff was very friendly, and it must be considered a good place to go, as it was extremely busy in the middle of a weekday, however, my deluxe pedi was barely a basic pedi. The massage portion was almost nonexistent, and was only on my calves, my feet got no massage at all. The hot towels was only one towel, and that was to wipe my legs after a brief sugar scrub. At least it wasnt too pricey.

Great job. The pedicure massage can be good depending on who you get.

Went in for full set of acrylics. Ombre fade with narrow coffin shape for $55. Price a little high. But Ben did great! Very quick. Nail shape is balanced. Will see how long they last and update. Posted picture of nails in images. UPDATE: I didnt get a fill but they lasted for 3ish weeks. Never came off or had stress lines. Had to file down at home.

This will be my new nail salon! I especially appreciate the plastic liners they use to ensure they’re not passing on nail infections from the pedicure tubs. I’d give 5 stars just based on that alone. I also tried the new dip gel and it seems nice, I don’t really like that it is quite so thick, but if it performs in other areas it will be worth it. My pedi and mani were with 2 different technicians and both did a good job. I would have preferred a little more conversation from the pedi tech but it wasn’t a bad thing either. I could see others struggling with the lack of conversation. This is a very clean, modern salon. I will be back!

The staff is pleasant and the facility is clean and neat, but the work they do is lacking. Not the nicest job Ive seen, and when I had a pedicure done the man was so rushed and rough with the pumice stone he scraped up my heal and the side of my foot. It still stings 3 days later. Rather than apologize, he just commented that I have sensitive skin.

They were wonderful with my hands and nails. They look so much better
