Highly recommend. Every single time, whether its an oil change or ball joint, this is my go to place. Never pushes unessasary fixes, budget friendly and their customer service is what sets them apart. Jason is the best!!!

Literally chose to come here from Iowa due to availability and affordability, while in town. Little did I know we would get WAY more. First they pointed out hitch we brought was not only the wrong one but wrong size!! Shame on Autozone for that! I was heated and the maintenance guy was super nice and patient. He sent us on our way to find a new one. Hours later with new (and correct) hitch in hand, he got us right in and had it done in less than an hour!! It only cost $50 too!!! AND they did a complete inspection to make sure car and tires still doing good!! Doesnt stop there! He also said ball wasnt right size and go get new one and he would get it on right away do we wouldnt have to worry! Seriously one of the best maintenance men Ive ever dealt with. Plus guy inside was super nice and told is of an amazing place few doors down to have lunch .. which was amazing!!

Took the car in to ask about a battery light that went on and then off. They said they would check it but did not mention what the charges would be. Said it would just be a few minutes. After about 5 minutes they came out and charged me $55 for the electronic diagnosis- bad alternator. I asked how much a new alternator would be- they said they had to call O’reillys to get the cost of an alternator. I said would the $55 come off that total if I bring the car back? They said no. Now I’ll take my $55 diagnosis somewhere else and not go back to Pep Boys. How about you say what the cost is up front? Feel like I got taken advantage of.

I took my old 17yr Acura in for maintenance and repairs recently. I needed new brakes (both front and back, pads and rotors). One of my front lower ball joint was also broken and needed replacement. Jason (service manager) and brother Hoang (service tech) helped get my car back in tip-top shape. Jason was very professional and even found coupons to help me save on both parts and labor. Wonderful shop - highly recommended. I will be taking my car here for all future maintenance!

Scheduled an appointment ahead of time, took time off from work to be there on time. Upon arrival I was told to come back some other day because theyre going to be busy for a few hours. No thanks. Will not go back.

Made an appointment for the next day. Upon arrival was told I would have to wait two hours to get in. It’s understandable that they’re behind, but someone could have called us to let us know before we took time off work and took the drive over.

Eagan MN store.I have a blower motor that has failed. It has a lifetime warranty for the manufacturer. I was told that because the store that I Purchased the part from was shut down. They cant look up in the system (rewards) and see that I bought it from them. And I need a Receipt..this is a 5 to 8 year old part. Im Not going to have the receipt.Jason form the Eagan store was boarder line rude and would not offer to help and kept repeating him self.There has to be a Solution to all the people that have bought parts from them with warranty.I can see why pep boys is failing in Minnesota.Jason M from the Eagan store. Mn.Brush up on your people skills and learn to address customers with alittle more Professionalism.Further more offer to have the customer call corporate,and not just shut them down with now were to turn and or options.

Last weekend, I ended up getting a flat tire near the end of the work day. It was a half hour drive away from my home, and none of the tow companies would tow my car that far. After calling a few other tire places, I contacted Pep Boys. After explaining the situation, Craig asked me first if I was somewhere safe. He and Hoang went ABOVE and BEYOND any of my expectations. They were amazing, and definitely deserve a raise!!!!

Im updating my last review. So back in December, I took my car in for a Coolant Flush. Wasnt done. Instead a Transmission Flush was done and the wrong fluid was used. I have a CVT Transmission. They tried to tell me ATF was fine to use in the engine which I know its not. They did end up replacing the fluid free of charge. So didnt get my coolant flush done and I wouldnt have been so mad about the Transmission flush if they had used the correct fluid. Be wary when you go in, if you have a CVT Transmission, make sure they use CVT fluid, not ATF. They are not the same thing.

Five stars to the Pep Boys crew in Eagan!Wednesday night I stopped in after work to discuss my engine light that came on. Ross was extremely helpful - diagnostic scanned my car (cam shaft actuator solenoids turned out to be the issue) and also noticed my tires were low, so he asked Jake to fill them & all was free. I scheduled to drop my car off for the next day, Thursday morning.Thursday morning, I showed up at opening and Chris was extremely friendly, welcoming & helpful! He took the time in detail to talk to me about what they plan to do with the cam shafts etc and also explained to me timing of oil changes in detail (because I asked about oil changes, but his response was very thorough and not just a quick answer) - I appreciated that! I left my car with Chris and was able to pick it up after work. (They do offer shuttle services too, but I had already arranged a ride).They did a fantastic job!! My car hasn’t ever driven so smoothly before; I am beyond happy with how it steers, feels & drives; I’m very impressed!Ross, Chris and Jake are very friendly and very knowledgeable. Thank you, guys!!I highly recommend them!

The customer service was great. They guys up front were very friendly, easy to talk with & informed me my tire could be patched up instead of putting the new one I was planning on buying. They save me $300. The saved money is nice but the honesty is what really made my day. I definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

Friendly, great service, no pressure sale

Terrible experience, dropped a car off for an elderly customer, I drive tow truck, guy who claimed to be owner of pep boys was a complete hot head!! He wanted to refuse vehicle, because it wasnt pretty enough for him, or maybe it didnt look like enough money for him - put me in the middle of his bad day - Im just the AAA driver from up north - bad place, bad experience - completely would tell people to go elsewhere!!! Felt sorry for leaving the vehicle in his hands!

Year ago my Serpentine belt broke off during my drive, I had it towed to pep boys and they repaired the alternator and serpentine area costing 1500$. The rep was nice but the mechanic I am not sure. Winter came and the alternator belt broke off and had to replace it again. Made me contemplate if I had really put money down the drain. I would think that a new belt would last a longer time than just 9 months after the repair.

Showed up with a list of what I wanted done. They said no problem, until the end that is. They wanted to replace the brakes I told them not today, lol of a sudden they no longer want to finish the job. Oil gets changed, wipers and a tail light, but now I leave with more problems. Hood won’t latch and now have a crack in the windshield in the exact area they were working. Call them back they say none of that was present and no damage was noted. Uh huh. Tells me to bring the car back and he will fix the hood but won’t take responsibility for the windshield. No thanks. Go in for an oil change then leave with a broken windshield and hood that won’t close.

Very HONEST AND HELPFUL..

Chris At Pep boys in Eagan is a saint! My wife and I came in when he was getting off, and he went above and beyond working over two and a half hours late to help us replace our battery/headlight. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing auto work!

I purchased tires from Pep Boys online and set up an appointment to have the tires installed Labor Day at the Eagan location. When I arrived at the shop the manager said he had no idea about my tires and that his shop was not part of the online ordering. I was informed that the tires I purchased were discontinued and could not be shipped to the store. Why sell the tires online if you dont have them to sell? Why allow for online appointments at a shop that isnt a part of the online program? And why not rectify the problem by finding a set of tires in stock (they had tires in the store that fit my vehicle, and tried to upsell me those tires for an additional $400) and making good on the companys promise to treat the customer right. Over one set of tires Pep Boys has demonstrated a lack of organization and lost a customer as a result of not recognizing the impact the screw up had on my day. If I could rate it zero stars, I would.

Be prepared to pay for it, but great service and people! Helpful and thorough.

My wife took her Honda Accord to pep boys for repair. Staff is supper nice and professional. They assessed and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. Great job boys!

Went there for an estimate on a repair and was sent elsewhere because they were not equipped to do my job. This saved me over $850. My gratitude to the group of people there. They were really helpful.

Bad customer service terrible I thought this man would follow through that he is going to call and give estimate cause I brought my car there for oil change then he said that there was a leak of my transmission fluid and its kinda low on fluid but they cant fix it that day and I ask him can you give me the estimate and then I would set up an appointment. He said ok i will call you on Monday but he never give a call back and I called to follow up but he doesnt know and he said bring your car will take look at it and they already look at it when i had the oil change. I would not recommend this place!

Needed a used car from a car lot checked out to make sure everything was in working order. They did it fast, cheaper than anywhere else around and was able to look at it the same day.

They are pet friendly. They are helpful, considerate and respectful. Their customer service is great.

Moved from out of town and needed some new tires and bearings on my back wheels. I was a walk in and they were able to squeeze me in but it would take the majority of the day so they ordered and paid for an Uber to get me to and from my apartment. Manager Brad was very helpful throughout the entire process.

This place is horrible, seriously get people that know what they are talking about when it comes to repairs!! I brought my car to another shop they fixed it for a 1/3 of the price and the maintenance items they recommended were not due for another 20,000 miles. What a rip off!!!

Eagan Auto Repair was a great place to go they were honest and upfront no unneeded repairs and everything was fair . Now they want to sell you warranty on the repairs that you just paid for and Eagan Auto would stand behind if for 2 years. Why would I trust a shop where the Technicians and Sales People are on Commission.

I was quoted $1800.00 for parts only to do the exhaust on my truck by the owner of pep boys here. For the same exact same job I got done at muffler doctor on my truck for 450$ total with labor. This pep boys will try and Rob you.

I made an appointment for my car headlight cleaning for 10.30 and received a confirmation email for the same. But when I reached the place they said they cant get me till 12pm if they can squeeze me in. I had to drive 20 miles to get here for nothing. Highly unprofessional

Customer service was terrible, especially management. I really wanted to buy tires and get them installed but I will pay more somewhere else if I need to in order to speak with someone that has some social skills.

I don’t recommended, they sell the tire on Black Friday scam people, they making people to buy road hazards to get Black Friday sale.

No communication between employees and managers what so ever. 2 weeks of no update on my suspension but only got an update cuz I had to reach out to my “boss”.
