Definitely not worth $24 for a beard trim. The lady was shaky and I felt like she was just rushing it. One side of my beard is thicker than the other side. She was really nice though and the place was really clean. Probably wont return

Went here for the first to see what a nice haircut felt like since I hate getting mine cut.Rose was PHENOMENAL. We werent sure how short to go so she asked as she went instead of assuming. They cleaned off the excess hair and made my hair smelling nice which was great going back to the office.They got a forever customer now!

The only place I go for haircuts. Stylists always listen to what you want and do a great job, every time. A little pricey, but not nearly as bad as others, and offer cleanup services between cuts. Also offer a wide variety of high quality hair products that they help tailor to your needs. Cannot recommend enough.

Laura did a great job and manages a great location for Gent! She took good care of me even though shes not my usual stylist and knew exactly what to do to manage the cut which I had previously gotten. Thanks for another good experience with Gent salons, Laura! Keep it up!

You get what you pay for at this place. Haircut is a little pricey but I am very pleased with how the haircut came out. Everyone in the shop was wearing masks and sanitizing everything. The hairstylist cut my hair fairly quickly and it came out great. Would definitely go back.

I wouldnt ever get my beard trimmed here again. I said what I wanted, even had a picture of me from a month ago after a shave I got on vacation to go with it, what I got is not what I asked for. Its not even straight. Now I can walk around with a stupid looking beard for weeks while it grows out. Haircut was okay. Again, not the same as in the picture of myself I brought in, but not something Id have said anything about if it werent for the very poor shave.

Although I didn’t use this business, my husband had a cut with Elaine and she did amazing! He called me to tell me, “I love my haircut,” which I’ve never heard him say before. This was his first experience with a stylist from this location, which is an hour away but worth the drive! Elaine cuts styles no one in our area can replicate! 10/10 recommend!

Jenny is bar far the best stylists I’ve had. The fade skills on her are top notch. I’m from NY and never had such a tight fade. Her line work and blending skills are tough. You will not be disappointed. Anyone you know that gets a bald fade or high and tight you need to tell them to go to Jenny. She is very good with her hands! I’ll miss her cuts. Never will I look so good again.

Her attention to detail and amazing fades makes her hands down the best. I used to go to a barber for a long time, probably close to 15 years. Well, I started to notice a drop in the quality of my haircuts. The fade was uneven on each side and the top was also uneven, and the sides were never short enough to my liking so it seeming that I would be in a for a haircut more frequently. Well, about a year ago, I decided to try something new, which is tough because who else do you let get that close to your face and head with sharp objects? To me the barber Client relationship is a very special thing and it takes a lot for someone like myself to trust anyone touching me and using sharp objects on me. The very first time I went in, I made an appointment with Misty, randomly. I took a shot in the dark, and I’m glad I did. Misty made me feel very comfortable and she was very pleasant to carry on a conversation with throughout the whole service. She never fails to please. My haircuts are even, and very clean, and the whole experience is simply magnificent. Very enjoyable. I always walk out of Gent feeling very satisfied and will continue to give Misty my business as long as she is around. 5 stars, i would highly recommend.

So much for being on time and for consulting on an initial haircut. Neither happened even though I was there early. if they were running late because they were busy thats one thing but apparently I interrupted her lunch and she told me to wait for someone else who never showed up and when I finally called its the one who told me to wait. What the heck? not a way to treat a new and potentially long-lasting customer. I wont be back.

Ive been going to Gent for a while now and am so glad I made the switch. I randomly scheduled my first cut with Misty and I couldnt be more pleased. She does wonders with my hair and Ive never had such a relaxed and enjoyable relationship with a stylist before her. Misty is a natural at forming connections and making her clients feel comfortable and important. Shes remembered things from out chats that I would never have expected from my stylist - this is what sets her apart from others, in my opinion. Thank you for consistently amazing service, Misty!

The aesthetic to this shop is very welcoming and really pleasant! You can notice the great smell of the place as soon as you step in. Misty was my stylist and shes very caring about every aspect of what you want your hair to be like. Shes also very kind. As for the cut itself, she made my hair look very clean and nice. I dont doubt that this will be my permanent shop from now on!

My first time at Gent, and 100% satisfied with the hair cut! Im always nervous when going somewhere new for the first time, my regular stylist (at a different mens grooming center) was unavailable when I needed a haircut so I went to Gent on the recommendation of a friend. I picked an appointment with a stylist at random based solely on the time slot available because it fit with my schedule. How lucky I was to have landed a haircut with Jenny M!Let me just say, Im probably one of the worst haircut customers ever because I never know how to describe what I want. I generally trust my stylist enough to just say do your thing but with trying a new place for the first time I had no idea what to expect. I told Jenny I just wanted it shorter, and needed it to look great. She did an absolutely fantastic job helping me decide what kind of cut I wanted on the hair and the entire service vastly exceeded expectations.I really liked how Jenny took the time to go over my options as far as length and style for different areas of my hair. I was so proud of how the haircut turned out that later on that day I took to social media and posted a picture specially dedicated to the haircut. That was kind of a big deal because I hardly ever post anything online.In addition to the awesome haircut, we had a really nice conversation that actually had some depth to it, much better than just talking about the weather or making small talk for 30-45 minutes. Please dont get the wrong impression though, she wasnt super chatty or anything but actually a really good listener, engaging in the conversation while remaining equally focused on the haircut. I felt that I had 100% of her attention during the entire service which really made me feel valued as a customer.Kudos to Jenny and more broadly to the entire Gent team for creating a culture of professionalism and helping the guest feel not only important, but also welcomed. Very important for me being new customer. If your experience is anything like mine, I guarantee you wont be disappointed. 10/10 recommend.

Nice place with good barbers. But, they will assign you a barber based on where you are from. I got a barber who is rookie. For Rookie good job. But I was used as a trial which I do not like. So giving em 4 stars

Mandie was great! I had a barber trim my beard earlier that day at a different shop. He cut my neckline much to high so Mandie saved the day hooked me up so my beard shape stayed intact and didn’t have to shave my beard off and start all over again!!Will definitely be coming here for my beard trims from now on

I always get a great cut from Misty. She is the only person I have trusted with my hair for the last couple years. Yes, you pay a little more but for all the hack jobs I have ever gotten from places like fantastic Sams and great clips, I will gladly pay a little more for a stylist like Misty in an environment like Gent.

My 19-year old son went for a hair cut and was charged full price even though he didnt get a shampoo, conditioner, the neck massage, etc because of Covid. If youre not going to give the full service, you shouldnt charge the full price. Not cool.

I see Amie about every month and a half and she does great! Such a pleasure to talk to and makes me feel very welcome and at home. The hot towel and face massage sure to seal the deal.

Great staff, very friendly! I’ve seen a few different stylist there, all of them have been outstanding, but Misty is who I always try to get when I make a reservation. If I can’t get Misty, I wait.

Extremely helpful and caring staff and very reasonable prices.I come from mostly great clips or cheaper hair salons, but with a wedding coming up, I wanted to try somewhere nicer. And boy-o do you really get your moneys worth here! The time slots for appointments are used fully and they make sure to do a precise job when cutting and trimming hair. The included hair wash was very relaxing and the clay hair product they tried worked great. I will gladly pay a little more to go here from now on rather than cheaper places to get my hair done, its worth it!

Jenny M has cut my hair for several years. Since she joined Gent in Eagan she has definitely improved her quality. She has always been very good, but now she is great. I know she had to go through a lot of training before starting and has continued with training. The other people working there are very pleasant as is the atmosphere. Their scheduling system is great. I suggest you give her a try.

You pay only a bit more for great service...**update** Lowering the star levelWent in for a second cut the following month and had to return so the manager fix the uneven sides and lack of proper fade. The manager did an amazing job, shes very knowledgeable. I would return to have her do another cut, but the website doesnt list names under staff pictures and I dont want to end up with another bad cut.

Clean, trendy and reasonably priced for a by-appointment-only establishment. Of course the entire experience will hinge on your hair cutter and groomer, and that is a matter of personal taste. If you are looking for a somewhat more upscale and personalized experience, this is the place.

Made an appointment with Jenny M. Showed up ten minutes early, was warmly welcomed with a cup of kombucha (or coffee). It was great. Jenny took very good care of me, and got me in my chair before my scheduled time! Shes very friendly and let me tell you my beard went from mangled to perfection! Shes got some talent with the clippers the haircut was also fantastic! I wish I had before and after photos, but I can tell you I felt like a million bucks walking out of there! I went for my beard trimming to this place first time. The overall environment was nice. I’m growing my beard and mustache. In order to keep them in a good shape I explained to the Barber what’s need to be done (slight beard trim + slight mustache trim- upper lip area) but both side of my mustache got shorter than I expected. I was planning to round my long mustache in both sides. It disappointed me somewhat. Hope it grows soon before Xmas ! Please pay attention to detail. And $18 is bit pricey for simple beard trimming.

This place is a glorified SuperCuts. The girls that cut hair at Gent Cuts are clueless. If you are a guy who prefers a shorter haircut, do yourself a favor and go go an experienced barbershop. Gents Cuts has clueless stylists that will give you the worst haircut of your life. The girl cut my neck several times. See photo attached

Extremely overpriced, when nearly half of the other barbers/salons in the area are charging less or HALF of what I paid at Gent. Id rather go to the place that is charging half of what I paid, not to mention they are doing a better job at the other barbers, and give way more variety and flexibility to customization. (With stylist recommendations of course) Over all I did not enjoy my experience.
