My FIRST and prolly LAST time coming here...after reading thy reviews i decided to give them a chance since i recently moved on this side of town. Came in they did my toes first and i love them after a little wait a young lady came and started doing my nails..she put them on real FAST with little to no acrylic or glue and started shaping and what not...overall i just feel like she MISSED a few steps bc afterwards my nails looked like they were press on nails...the tips are thicker than normal idk they just seemed OFF and a few days to a week later...they start LIFTING and my 2 pointer fingers CAME OFF on BOTH hands like its only been a WEEK and already im missing 2 nails...just by drying my hands after washing them...smh...ugh guess i will be going back to the Southpoint area...

I went to this place because I just moved to Durham from Mebane and I wanted to try a closer place. Not only was this place extremely dirty, I did SNS Nails and within one week they had all either chipped, broken, or turned yellow. I also decided to get my eyebrows waxed and ended up going to urgent care because they burnt my face. I would highly not recommend this place.

Sting is the absolute best!!! Professional work done in a timely fashion. A few years ago the shop I frequented made an appointment for me the day before Easter, when I went, they were closed. So I drove around and found Spa Nails and I’ve been a customer every since. Great atmosphere

Sting is absolutely amazing...Im very cautious about where I go after I had a horrible infection after a regular fill in acrilic at another location....Great price and I love how I trust sting enough and he chooses my nail designs now always feel comfortable and unrushed and most importantly they speak mostly English in the salon they have a customer for life!!!😀😀😀

I called early in the morning to set an appointment for my eye lashes. I was told they only doing walk ins. I get there and they tell me sit. They let 2 people ahead of me. I stayed patient. Then when its time to get in the chair both lash tech start speaking in their foreign language. Pretty much going back and forth about not wanting to do my lashes. After waiting an entire hour and a half. A complete waste of my time. Do not spend your money here!!!!

This place is alright. It is busy and they offer a lot of services. But it does not look that clean and seems like the techs just rush through the clients without worrying too much about the quality.I understand that when you work for tips quantity is better but that should not be an excuse to work through a lot of customers with a poor attention to detail.

I came here to get my lashes done. I got my lashes done by the owner. She dropped lash glue in my eye. They did nothing to help me get the lash glue out of my eye. Then they got upset because I was in the bathroom too long trying to remove the lash glue and tried to rush me out the bathroom. What hurt me the most is that Im a regular customer and how unprofessional they were about the situation. Then after all of that they still charged me for the unprofessionalism.

It had me Waiting hr1 an 30 mins to be seen and they made jokes about it I didnt like it I was uncomfortable and wanted to leave and they pick and choose who they gon do and they dont tell ppl to make appointments just have walk in sitting while the appointment get right in the chair if feel with ppl getting these check from the stimulus they going to be busy be faster and let ppl know how long there going to haft to wait smdh

This was my first time, they were late opening, I asked for a full set and they were poor quality, I had acrylic bunched up under 4 of the nails, the acrylic on three of them did not fully cover all of my nail, and I had a glob of polish left on one and a spotty nail polish job on the full set. I will never return.

Ive been going to see Chen since I was about 16 years old and I’m 22 now. She does an amazing job every single time and she’s so funny and sweet to talk to.

Spa nails has the friendliness employees. You are greeted upon entering the establishment. Your needs are met in a timely manner. I have probably seen everyone there, but my favorite nail tech is Chin. She is very professional and funny. Chin has a spunky personality. I love having her do my nails, toes, and brows.

They have no order. They rude. They might speak when you first come in but they will let you sit there for hours without being helped. And no one will acknowledge you have been sitting there the whole time.

I love going to spa nails. The employees there are very friendly. When I first started going there, I would go to anybody and they would do a good job. Now I get my nails done by Chin and she does an awesome job. I love the way she does my nails. Not only does she do a great job on my nails, she does great on my toes and eyebrows too. She will make sure your nails are the way that you want them. I really appreciate her being my nail tech.

I like this place. Ive been 3 times and each time has been great. They do a good job and theyre friendly. Love the cucumber pedicure and the lavender pedicure. The chairs are comfortable enough with different vibration and massage settings. The workers talk with you and are friendly. My gel manicure lasted a good bit and the girl was so patient explaining all the different types of polishes. No complaints and will be back.

Love this place. Chen is my girl. Go there and give her all your money! She’s fast, talented and funny. It’s like going to hang out with my friend for an hour. Very reasonable prices, as well.

Went to get a pedicure and the owner started removing the polish off my toes. I asked if another girl that I like who did my pedicure last time could do my pedicure she gets upset and got an attitude. The girl said she had someone coming so I said well thats ok then. But after the owner gets an attitude noway was I going to pay her yet alone do my feet. Not worth the headache....lost me as a customer....

I went here a couple days ago, and received a full set from one of the guys in there & they did a sloppy job. He rushed through my nails, the paint is chipping off on all the nails. My nails are also very thick, and the length is not what i asked for. It was a waste of $40. If he wasn’t very experienced with nails, he shouldn’t have led me to think he could do them. Won’t ever go back to him!

Spa Nail Salon is conveniently located on Duke St. I used to bounce around from nail place to nail place, just not happy. Now Spa Nails is my one and only. I have been going here for years and tell all my friends, its the best nail salon in Durham. They give you a pampered feeling, male or female. Its a beautiful thing, to be treated as a person and have a decent conversation,with the friendly staff and owners. If anyone wants that welcome, wanted and important experience, make sure you stop by, you wont be sorry!

I have been going here for my manicure and pedicure. They have wonderful service and are very friendly. I go every 3 - 4 weeks and I leave happy each time. Sting does a fantastic job every time. He does my nails all the time. When hes not available, his wife do them and Im happy with the results. If you ever need a good manicure and pedicure, I strongly recommend this place.

This has been my trusted nail salon for over 5 years. The staff is very friendly and do great work! I am always pleased with the outcome of my nails and have recommeded this salon to many of my friends and family, and they have also started to attend. They are fast, accommodating, affordable and always produce great results! I often get compliments on my nails and have many people asking where I go to get them done. Came from rose nails to get my gel fixed. The gentleman was very knowledgeable. He said I had a rushed job. Fortunately, they had the same color. He fixed the few that were wrinkled and didnt even charge me. Definitely going back!

This used to be the best nail salon in the area they have gradually gone downhill and their service is poor they are very rude and I will no longer spend any of my money in this place the only reason why they are getting two stars from me is because Sting is an outstanding guy and does his very best but the atmosphere is terrible I will never come back.

This is not my normal nail salon however I went there because I was visiting my mom in Durham and the other 2 that I have been to before were closed I usually get the sns powder nail however this salon did not offer it but my nails really needed to be done so I opted to get gel the gentleman that did my nails was nice and I did not have to wait long however my gel started to peel of my nails two days after they were done that Thursday I had a meeting in Durham so I had time to go there to get it fixed a lady fixed the two nails no problem about four days later the same two nails plus another one started coming off so gels should last about 2 weeks not 3 days

Horrible experience all the two times I went ! She didn’t clean all the polish off my toes before pusttibg the new polish & cut my toe nail very slanted. Paid $20 & was not happy with my toes at all it was $5 worth of work I could of did a better job myself.

The customer service could be improved. I went in to get a full set and pedicure. This is not the first time my water has gone cold waiting on someone to start my service. When I got ready to leave thats when they wanted to say someone is coming. I did not see them clean the pedicure stations after clients left which is unsanitary. I showed a lady a picture of how I wanted my nails only pink with gems she said I cant do that in a rude manner. I said ok well can u do the full set and someone else do the design she said I mean if theyre available if not then u just cant get it. I got up to leave and just pay for my pedicure. At that time the manager asks no full set and I said no she doesnt know how to do what I want and left. Its a shame bc I used to enjoy going there but their lack of customer service skills and the young people working there have no sense of care in the world they dont care about customers coming back to me it seems they are just rushing to get you in and out to take your money. I will not be spending anymore of my coins with them.

At one time, this was my favorite place. My pedicure would last a month. Then something changed....my toes were chipping within a few days. This happened several times. I blamed it on the nail tech, and found out who the best person was on staff. She did my pedicure...it chipped within a couple of days. That was it! I will never go back to Spa nails. Now I go to Orlando in Durham. He does a beautiful jib and it lasts!!!

The owner did my gel manicure. His manners and customer service were superb, as well as the manicure itself. He knows how to do nails (we talked about possible effects of the UV lights, how the sunscreen I put on immediately before could mess up my polish, etc). I came here for them to fix my Unique Nails mishap. I gave him an extra tip because of how good and professional he was.*update The gel itself lasted THREE WEEKS! I only had it changed because my nails were growing out and I was tired of the color.

I had my nails done there only once.I had gel all over my fingers, and it awfully hurt for two days and two nights (it prevented me from sleeping!!!).The layer of gel was sooooo thick and overflowing on my fingers skin...Since it was my first time, I thought it was supposed to hurt... but I tried another place and nope... that is not supposed to hurt and the gel is supposed to be placed only on the nail! Haha...Not to mention that after a week, it was all off my nails underneath looked awful...I would never ever recommend this place.

I have used this place a couple of times but unfortunately today was not a good experience. The shop did not open on time & when I did finally get inside I had to wait. There were only three ppl working( that should have been a sign) but I waited hoping my lady would show. After waiting about 40min a chair came open so I said I f it and took it. Big mistake. After waiting tht long I had another appointment and could not take my business else where. Someone thought my child did my nails the way she blended my colors. When I had time to call back they said they wouldn’t fix it cuz I already paid and because I brought my own product. BS she knew wht I had and asked what I wanted, if she couldn’t do it she should have said so. & they act as if they don’t know how to set appointments anyway. Never again!!!

Worst place ever to get your nails done, they rush on your nails. I went and got my nails done around 5 came home washed my hands and my nail polish is already coming off on my thump and its only been 2 hours since I got them done.

Terrible service, my acrylic nails were too short and clumpy and thick. He didn’t even paint them right.

My experience was not good at Spa nails.It took 2 hrs for a pedicure.
