Recently used this location for installation of TPMS sensors for some new aftermarket rims for my Tesla Model 3. There was a small snafu in the pricing provided on the original call, but it was quickly worked out. I opted to bring the rims (with tires) in off of the vehicle and the team was helpful in getting them unloaded and completed the work on schedule. I did a lot of shopping around and voiced my concerns around any cosmetic damage to the new rims, they took these concerns seriously and it shows, on pickup the rims were still in pristine condition, not a scratch or nick on them! Overall the pricing was a little high, but they were up-front with the pricing on the second call and did great work, I wouldnt hesitate to use them again in the future.

I was happy with my new tires from Chapel hill Tire. The price for a set was really competitive even with Club prices. All staff was very professional and explained other items I might want done in future. Only reason I did not give them 5 stars is the time it took to get tires done. Tires and aliment was little over 3 hours even with a 8am appointment. This might not be a issue for folks that use their free shuttle to work but I live out of town so had no place to go so had to wait there. TBH if I went to a club warehouse no idea how long I would have waited.thumbs up on price match and free shuttle for those that need to go local.

Recently received excellent service at Chapel Hill Tire. Two mechanical issues lead to needing repair and the work was performed well, and relatively quickly. I believe I received a fair price and appreciate the attentive customer service! Hopefully I dont require their repair services in the near future, but I will happily bring my car back!

I’d first like to say my service was phenomenal. Prior to arriving I called the previous day to schedule an appointment. My tires were bald & needed replacement badly. Not only did Ben ask what I needed, he recommended what he thought would best fit my specific situation. He was very knowledgeable and kind when scheduling my appointment. When I arrived I quickly dropped off my vehicle and received notification within 2 hours to let me know my vehicle was ready for pick-up. All staff were amazing in making me feel welcome. I would highly recommend Chapel Hill Tire for your car needs. I’m very pleased with the replacement of my tires and the service provided.

We had an alternator replaced in our town and country. The customer service was good and the repair was done in a timely manner. So far, the car seems to be running perfectly. The only complaint is that the repair was a bit on the expensive side, but you are paying more for a quality service.

I have used Chapel Hill Tire twice this year. Once for new tires and then an oil change/tire rotation. They have great customer service and convenient options for pick up and drop off. They are my new go-to spot for regular maintenance! Thanks y’all!

Friday needed a MAF sensor. University Ford could not even run a diagnostic on my Explorer until the following Wednesday. Chapel Hill Tire, although closed over the weekends, took my truck, diagnosed it, and got it back on MONDAY! Great service and speed!

It was easy and quick to get an appointment. I arrived 30 minutes early and they were happy to take my car in for me. Please note there is no waiting room inside due to Covid-19. They appeared very busy and all the work I asked for was completed. I did get a state inspection and wish the findings of that had been reviewed with me. I was sent a link to view my results and wish I had been asked if I wanted these items fixed (seemed to be minor items) while I was there. I would use them again.

It was cool, I needed some pretty intense repairs. Car is still performing great.

I drove in on a flat. They change my tire. Checked my oil; noted that it was low: and possibly had an oil leak. They added two quarts of oil; and scheduled me an appointment to come back for an oil change and diagnostic test. Excellent customer service! Most surprisingly of all it didn’t cost me one red cent!I went back for the oil change; they cleaned my engine; ran diagnostics; and inserted dye to detect where the leak is coming from. I was told to drive for a week and come back so they can determine where the leak is coming from. The service is some of the best I’ve had and I will continue to get my vehicle serviced there.

Ive been using Chapel Hill tire for years. Most recently, I went in for an inspection and they recommended a fuel line service. I texted back that I was okay without the fuel service. Unfortunately, this got lost in communication and they performed the service anyway. They let me know right away and charged me nothing. Stand up service, would highly recommend.

It was outrageous how good their customer service was. I got done with disc golf to find that a tire was leaking air. I called them while driving over and they were able to work with my schedule to get my car back up and running in a timely fashion.Further, they answered every question and left me feeling that I was being taken care of which is rare in the auto industry.Caroline (apologies if I misspelled that) was a pleasure to work with and I will happily be returning with all future auto needs.Thank you chapel hill tire!

I took my vehicle here for an oil change on 3/4/21 after having a good past experience with them for spark plug changing/ an alignment. This time was simply an oil change, and I made an appointment for 9am. I chose the option to wait, and, upon arrival, observed a sign saying the waiting room was closed due to covid (understandable). I asked the customer service rep at the desk for how long it should be, and was told 2-4 hours (!!).I called to check on the status of my vehicle at noon (3 hours in) and was told they had not taken my vehicle into the bay to be worked on yet. It ended up taking 6.5 hours before my vehicle was done. I find this to be way too long for a simple oil change, especially having an appointment.The staff there IS friendly and professional, and the prices are decent. I would recommend only bringing a vehicle in for service if you’re having more than an oil change done, or if you don’t mind not having your vehicle all day.

I can not, in good faith, recommend chapel hill tire for ANY service at all. I took my car in to replace a flat tire. I was lied to (twice) about the shop having the correct size tires. Service (which I was promised would only take 2 hours) ended up taking >24 hours. Staff did not communicate with me at all (I literally did not receive a single update unless I called to ask what was going on with my car). To top it all off, when I was arriving to pick up my car, a technician was pulling out of the shop to test drive my car (not sure why this is necessary for a simple tire change). While pulling out of the shop, the technician accelerated very hard, had the windows down and sunroof open, and was traveling 20mph in excess of the speed limit. While I do drive a sporty vehicle, I don’t find it appropriate for employees to be driving customers cars like they stole them.Do yourself a favor and choose one of the other many reputable shops in the area.

I can’t say how wonderful these folks are. When I had an old car that was falling apart, they were so kind and respectful. They made sure my car was up and running and safe for me to drive. They were so excited for me when I got a more reliable car.They also make sure I’m taken care of. Before COVID they offered rides to home or work while they worked on your car. Now they will pick up your car so you don’t have to worry about transportation.I highly recommend any of Chapel Hill Tires locations.

This auto-repair shop lists their prices online, which led me to believe they would be an honest shop. I was wrong. After performing the $150 AC service and inspection, the garage informed me that my vehicles AC compressor and condenser were shot. This meant the $175 dollar service, add 17-20% on top of their online price for a service fee and taxes to know the actual amount, was useless. Additionally, after a quick online search, the garage was going to charge me 250% more than market price for a compressor and 300% more than market price for a condenser. This auto-repair shop/chain has lost my trust and business.

Great place to get your car serviced! I dropped it off before work. The staff was very friendly, took my info and I was outta there. I was got text updates on my car progress, a call when it was done and they even sent a nice list of what was checked and what needed attention. I was also late picking my car up. Didn’t matter, they were still super nice. Definitely using them for all my maintenance needs!

The people were friendly but I waited five hours for a basic oil change, and this was with.scheduled appointment time. What is the purpose of a scheduled timed appointment then?

Since we have been in quarantine i have been working from home. By the time I get off most businesses are closed or I have to wait until the weekend. I really appreciate the new service they provide with the contact less appointments. It was very convenient. It also helped that they were there every step of the way, providing me with all the information I needed.

My husband and I (with several young children in tow), had a very eventful beginning to our vacation. Our van started having trouble, and an auto parts shop recommended Chapel Hill Tire. The employees were kind, professional, and very thorough. They accepted us at closing time with open arms, and gave us waters and a cool place to wait. Their price was fair and their work was efficient. Shout out to Ben and all the staff for being so accommodating! Costumer service is rare these days and y’all set a high standard. Took my vehicle to Chapel Hill Tire for a state inspection... on the last day of the month. They fit me in without an appointment, were kind and professional both on the phone and in person, and kept me well informed about the status of the car. They gave me service recommendations based on the inspection but did not pressure me to purchase. Very pleased with the service!

The people here are always curtious and friendly. Unfortunately they have turned into a major chain, not concerned with supplying honest work, but instead concerned only with making as much money, and having you do as many repairs as possible. I had wanted a single loose tie-rod replaced, but was told that both tie-rods and both shocks needed to be replaced, as well as my brand new (4000 miles) tires. Worse, though. They spilled oil on my engine and claimed I needed a new gasket (which would require three hours work). Luckily I looked under my own hood just before taking it in, so I knew this was a scam. I havent been to Chapel Hill tire in a while, but blatant dishonesty and scam tactics is why Ill never return.

These folks are great! They are so helpful, transparent and trustworthy. We have two hybrids and theyve always done right by us, even when one of our cars had multiple significant battery issues. Matthew and his team went out of their way to help me get a new battery and do it fairly.We trust them with our cars and will continue to do so.

I went to Chapel Hill Tire for an oil change and a state inspection. I arrived ten minutes early to my 10am Monday appointment and told them I would wait there (expecting it to take an hour since the parking lot was nearly empty). It took FIVE HOURS for my car to be serviced, and then they had the nerve to try to up-sell me on additional, unnecessary services when it came time to pay. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially during COVID times. I had nowhere to go! I have half a mind to demand a refund. Ridiculous!

The quality and care that they gave to me during my time of need can’t even be expressed in words. Even though they were extremely busy they promptly got me on my way. A lot can be said in the times we live in when you can go to a business and they truly care about their customers. Their professional is hands down number one.

Booked an appointment for new Tires and Alignment on a Wednesday, they had the tires delivered, and installed on my truck the very following day. The work was done efficiently, professionally, and economically. I will be using and recommending this business from here forward. No Gimmics, just great service.

They provided contactless service by coming to my house, picking up my car, and then calling me to see what I would like to have done. They then brought my car back to me after they were finished and I had paid for the very reasonable charges online. They even wipe it down to disinfect it for your safety when they drop it off.This place is great!! I was very satisfied with their work.

I love Chapel Hill Tire. I like I can make an appointment online. I needed an oil change which was completed in a timely manner for a good price. My car needed some other things done. Instead of hitting me all at once with what was needed and then pressure me into getting it ASAP, like other places do, they wrote it on my invoice. They understood that it was the Holiday season I may not be ready to complete repairs right away. I appreciate the no pressure tactic. I had a good experience purchasing my new Tiger Paw tires here in March. However, I came back in June to have a wheel bearing replaced. I was quoted $450 at a minimum. When I told them I didnt want the service to be performed, I was questioned by the person helping me on the phone and felt like he was questioning my authority on what I feel is a fair price for this service. In fact, I just had it completed at another auto shop for $276 in total. Be prepared to pay a higher price here.

Thanks for the “Made in China” oil filter element you put in my 4runner. Although I’m sure it’s a great product (not really)I’ll be doing it myself from now on with genuine Toyota parts and no more overtightened and stripped bolts on the underpinnings and shields. You had one job....

Extremely honest business. Matthew could have easily sold me four new tires and an alignment (because I truly thought there was more wrong with my tires than the flat I brought it in for). But he honestly assessed my tires and determined that they probably have another 6 months left on them. He said that the flat was because there was a nail in my tire. And then, when I went to pick up my car and pay for the tire repair, he 100% comped it and said Dont worry about it. We just want you to be happy and we want your business. Its rare to find a business model like this these days, so kudos to Matthew and Chapel Hill Tire. For a $29 tire repair, theyve earned our business for life. Excellent business decision.They also have a drop off form and box, which I needed badly because my tire wouldnt hold air for more than 30 minutes and it was after hours when the problem started, so I just drove my car over there last night, filled out the form, left it and my keys in the drop box, and received a text early this morning that my car was being checked in. I then received regular texts during the repair process, letting me know what they were doing, and Matthew called several times to discuss the tire situation. So excellent customer service. Theyre also very friendly. This place basically checks off all the boxes for what you want from a tire repair company.

The service advisor Matthew, called after the diagnosis of my issues. A detailed assessment was sent for my approval. The estimate provided was the amount I paid. There were no hidden cost as everything was spelled out. Nice!My car was back at the time promised and with a warranty for the work performed. Scheduled an annual state safety inspection and elected to wait on site for my car. 2 hours later the car hadn’t been moved and I asked for my keys and left. The staff were cordial, and they seem busy, but the safety inspection should take 30-60 minutes tops; they shouldn’t bother with scheduling appointments if they can’t keep them. Can only recommend as a drop-off service.

Made a last minute appointment for an inspection and they got me right it. They were super fast, and super friendly. The waiting area had beverages and a charging tower for phone, sounds simple, but my phone was dying and it was so convenient! I have aMaintenance package that came with my car from Hendricks, however they take forever and constantly recommending services, even though my car is brand new. I will most certainly use them for all my car needs in the future.

Pay what you get for, great warranty plan. Very professional, great customer service. Seems to be honest so far, no B.S. like most auto shops.

She was professional, knowledgeable and helped in my decision process including price matching and giving me a new customer discount. The free shuttle service was a great bonus, offered both ways for drop off and pick up. Bob, the driver, was delightful and kind. The work was completed in a timely manner and met my expectations. Will definitely be back to see this family run business who really show they care about their customers.

Excellent service...REAL service. I needed my car out by the end of the day. A tire needed replacing and was not in stock. Mathew located a tire at another location and sent his driver for it. You went out of your way for me when I was in a pinch. You just dont forget those things.

Stopped by the Durham shop today to have a slow tire leak repaired. Both service techs were friendly and helpful - and worked the small repair very quickly ... for no charge! Ill be looking for an opportunity to take more business to this excellent local standout.

Stopped in because tire pressure alert was on. Checked all four, advised probably a sensor, gave us what price would be and set us at ease for rest of trip. If I lived here, this would be my shop.

Maintenance performed quickly, but original quote was much lower than what I paid. Also they were going to charge me a $118 diagnostic fee after I told them exactly what and where a problem was. I was called and told it’d be an extra $300 for labor because they underestimated the amount of work required. They said they’d work with me on price if I got the work done with them, and didn’t follow through with this commitment. Also, they charged nearly double for the identical part found at Napa. I understand a mark up on parts, but this seemed excessive. Unfortunately had to pay and walk away not feeling great about the transaction.

Went in for an annual vehicle inspection. They recommended I change the brake fluid and rotate the tires. I had the tires rotated and brake fluid checked a month before. Just trying to rip people off.

I often get anxiety when going to mechanics and car service establishments, but they had great prices and weren’t pushy about getting extra things done to my car.
