I’ve been to 5 different salons since I’ve move here recently. Kay waited on me. She was so gentle, did not burn my nail beds or sand them so thin, they were damaged like the other salons did. She was very nice and hospitable. The business is very clean and pleasant to be in. I definitely will be going back to her and recommending them. I can’t wait to try their pedicures! Also, you aren’t forced to tip in cash like the other places. They are by the big BINGO hall. Great place to go!

Kay, Hannah, Sunny, Rose and the entire staff are phenomenal. Kay is a true artist, the nicest person you will ever meet, kind, considerate and a very special person. My nails are so wonderful that I get compliments wherever I go. Hannah and Rose do the best pedicures for me and Sunny is the cherry on the top. I had the best pedicure ever! This was my first time here and I tried the volcano pedicure. My feet were silky smooth and I felt like I had been treated like a queen. The entire experience was outstanding! I took business cards and pamphlets to display at our rental property. I would recommend this salon to anyone wanting delightful and relaxing pampering.

This place is very professional. i was very impressed by the carefulness and preciseness of their work. my pedicure was extremely relaxing and left my feet feeling amazing. the acrylic nails done on me were nowhere short of perfection. i had a reference picture and my nails look just like the picture! 10/10 would recommend and would go again.

Aloha!! This place deserves my review! First of I love the environment! My husband had the volcano pedicure (done by Kay) and it was amazing and relaxing! I had a gel manicure (done by Derek) with the new mermaid 🧜‍♀️ collection gel nail polish #32. Since the new owners all three Kay, Derek and Hannah are very attentive and detail oriented and professional. They schedule you appropriately and they dont rush you through your session. Its worth it! I will continue to come!! Also, on this beautiful Sunday enjoying a mimosas 🥂 You wont regret it! Come get pampered! 💅🏼

I went today for a dipping powder manicure and I am beyond happy with the end result!! Kay is an artist, a phenomenal nail professional! I showed up early and at first everyone was super friendly, they took me in right away, confirmed my appointment, asked what I was getting. Then, after I got my nails done I was very upset with the quality, the attitude I received from the lady doing my nails, and the appearance of them.There was glue everywhere on my skin around my nail afterwards that was not cleaned off- as I had to clean it off myself later on- the polish on my nail did not go up as far as possible causing my nails to already look grown out and I had no help in selecting the specific color I was looking for after showing a picture.

We celebrated my 19 yo granddaughters Birthday with pedicures. The staff was so friendly. I will definitely be back.

Get is AMAZING! If you need an amazing full set with all the fun stuff, Derek is your guy! He’s really nice and he makes sure his work is perfect. I don’t know the name of the lady who did my pedicure (shame on me), but she did a fantastic job also! She took her time, she was very gentle and super sweet.

The food is delicious (I had the Escargot and the bouillabaisse), the servers are engaging, and they have a sneaky good wine list. Highly recommended.

Its under new ownership and, the new place is fabulous! Everyone is friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this place. My experiences have always been good.Im handicapped and the previous owners didnt even let me go through the door.When I first went after ownership was changed, the people at Gem opened the door with big smiles and helped me so that I can get my pedicure, manicure and facial waxing.Lucky me, I only live a hop, skip and a jump away. LOL

I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and Kay did an amazing job...especially on the filing job! I was very impressed. She listened to what I wanted. She didn’t just do her own thing on my nails. She has a wonderful vibe about her and it was a very pleasant experience for me. I left Gem nails with a big smile on my face! Please don’t let the shopping center where the nail parlor is located dissuade you from coming to this shop! It’s beautiful on the inside. The chairs where you sit for pedicures are so comfortable. It’s a very clean shop and has a peaceful aura about it. I am so happy that I found this place!

This was my first visit to Gem Nails. I was nervous trying a new nail salon, but they were fantastic! The salon was nice and very clean. Rose did an excellent job on my nails and toes. I would definitely recommend them and I will be going back.

Covid is still here- masks are still required PER THE SIGN ON THEIR DOOR. They wanted me to sit within 2 feet of another customer and don’t require masks to be worn in their store. Sometimes they use their own masks as chin straps. I walked out.

I go to this Salon for over 4 years, it keeps getting better and better. Now they have these amazing new chair massage that gives u a real relaxing time. The entire place is very clean. They have complementary drinks and all employees are super nice. Definitely best salon in this area. Oh! They have a discount for new clients. Kay helped me this time. Awesome!

Just got a volcano pedicure and a gel manicure with the new mermaid collection. This place is THE BEST! Kay is so caring and kind and is an expert at her craft. The shop is beautifully remodeled and unbelievably clean. There is no place even close to their quality in the Dunedin area. Kay is the new manager and does a great job. Old reviews were for the shop under previous management. Dont be misled by any reviews over 4 months old.

This is by far the most friendly, caring, immaculately CLEAN salon Ive ever been in. THE ATMOSPHERE is extremely pleasant, the MUSIC,Vietnamese songs, sung in French is soothing and relaxing. CHOICE OF beverage water, soda, wine is a bonus..THE MASSAGE chairs are hi-tech, the massage is from the back of your neck to the back of your knees with heat and intensity programming and massage sleeves for your arms. HOT WAX and hot stones is luxurious. The artistry of each tech is phenomenal...By far the best..

This was the 1st time I have been here. I was really impressed with the amazing massage chairs! It was a full whole body massage even your arms went in! It was very clean and very professional. I received a pink and white refill and a pedicure from Gem yesterday. At 4am in the morning I was woken by a severely swollen and infected toe. This was within 12 hours of being at this salon, and required medical attention. DO NOT GO HERE! My hopes are to save someone else from an early morning urgent care visit.

I’m in from out of town so when I had called to make an appt they took me in immediately to help fix a broken nail(it was so painful). It was such a lovely experience and they were so tentative, asking me if I was in pain ever. Just really great experience! They young lady nail tech really knew her stuff too! And my nail feels so much better:) Highly recommend!

I talked to K (kim) on the phone and she worked around my schedule to make time for me :) she was super professional and kind! So gentle with me that I actually fell asleep a little. Today I experienced the best pedicure I have ever had, at GEM Salon and Spa with Lisa. I must add that the pedicure chairs are fantastic also! I left there feeling so relaxed, as if I had had a massage as well as a wonderful pedicure.

First, the place is clean and they open a sterile pkg of tools for each client. Best gel manicure I’ve ever had. Great cleaning of cuticles. The manicure lasts long because the polish doesn’t meet the skin and become loose as the nails grow. Truly perfect.

Vixen Nail and Spa in Dunedin is truly a 5 Star salon! Beautiful, newly renovated sadly because of a fire that occurred about a year ago! They are trying to recoup business and it is slow going. The staff is wonderful and experienced. The pedi chairs are luxurious as you melt away in relaxation. You must try this salon!!!! 100% awesome!!!

I am visiting the area from Orlando and came across this nail salon and am so happy that I did. Jessica was AMAZING! I have never had nails that look so good. She took her time, helped me pick a design and make it exactly what I wanted. She also was extremely friendly and made conversation with me which was a bonus. I could not be more pleased with this salon.. so happy I found it!!

The place was very clean but the guy (Dong) giving me my pedicure went deep behind my nails, which caused my toenails to fall off about 3 weeks later. I went to a doctor to see if I had a fungus on my toes and I did not. The doctor said that he had damaged the nail bed causing the nails to fall off. So I would not recommend this salon.

Jessica is always attentive and gives me exactly what I ask for. Shes professional and friendly and the shop is always clean. 10/10 would recommend.

Ive gotten the SNS dip done here twice now, once by Vivi and the other by other by Jessica. They were both AMAZING!! This last time by some fluke the dip on my middle nail separated from the nail, I called to see if I could come in and get it fixed and they were able to get me in right away because of a cancellation. Jessica not only fixed that nail, but took the top layer off the other nails and dipped them in clear to ensure they were all protected. I need to take a break from it for a little while so my nails can have a rest, but I will definitely be back. They are now my go to!I definitely recommend making an appointment though. They take walk ins, but they tend to be pretty busy and booked up. Its worth it!

They also do Powder Dip, which I am a fan of.Pls ask for Peggy for a wonderful Facial.
