I recently stopped in here for the free exam. Before doing so I read all of the reviews, both negative and positive, and applied some of the comments to my experience. This is a pretty new outfit in town and despite that seems incredibly busy. After having stopped I can confidently say that some of the complaints are unwarranted in large part because they are the result of this particular location being so busy - which you cannot entirely blame an up and coming business for especially during a work shortage after a pandemic. I was really impressed by how thorough the FREE exam was - the medical AND administrative staff was professional and had great customer service. I compared the price quote they gave me to other locations for the same service and found their quote was comparable. The only (constructive) criticism I would give is that they obviously need more staff and if they cant find them they should offer the existing staff retention pay at some point for maintain such good service despite having so much on their plate. They seemed like a great team. 5/5

Dr. Tiffany is amazing. She explains everything and made me feel comfortable. It was recommended that I get a deep cleaning, which after I found out what was involved was pretty scared to have it done. I met Dr. Shawna who was going to do my deep cleaning, and felt a relief knowing she has 26 yrs. experience. Totally recommend Aspen Dental, they have a friendly team with experience!!!

I have had alot of dental work/ issues with teeth. The fillings Ive received are pretty much invisible after Aspen dental. Color matching is great and the people are very proffesional/ nice. Prices for some things seem a little more than others but the quality is great.

I have just started my journey of replacing my bottom denture that was lost while I was in the hospital. Its been 40+ years since I needed any dental work. It has been a pleasure working with the dentist and office staff at Aspen in Duluth, MN. They really care, help you make important decisions as easy as possible, and I cant thank them enough for being so understanding and helpful. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone wondering who they should chose for dental work.

I was delighted and so happy to get in with an appointment within 2 hours, as I was having a lot of tooth pain. I got in and was happy did all my exrays was great and the exams were awesome great staff everything was going great! Turned my pain I needed tooth pulled so they gave me my shot numbed me up and then put me in the green room I sat there almost 2 hours and no one came to check on me, several staff walked pass this room over a dozen times no one asked me how I was doing or said, wow your still here, after about hour and half I walked out and found my doctor asked her how much longer would I be waiting, she ohhhhhh as the look told me they and she forgot about me, she said oh I gues I won’t be able to get to you today and took me out to reschedule. Not a sorry nothing just told me they did not have time, after I was told they would extract the tooth and take care of me. Instead I sat in the green for almost 2 hours! Now I have to wait until September 18 and I’m in pain!!!! This was awful!

The staff were all very friendly and caring. I was made to feel very comfortable through the whole appointment. They all explained what they were doing and answered all of my questions. Pros: Dentists are extremely well trained, proficient, and skilled. Support staff is nice, very polite and also skilled.Cons: Extremely expensive. Exorbitant prices. High interest rates if you dont pay it within the time frame. (I paid my costs before interest kicked in). Also, the dentists push you to do the most expensive procedures.I have learned to get a second consult from another dental provider

I had a very wonderful experience at Aspen Dental! The office manager, Nicki, explained all of my options very thoroughly and was so helpful. Dr. Tiff was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable with the entire process. Jessie did an amazing job with a teeth cleaning and recommended excellent products. All of their staff were so kind and I would highly recommend!

I have tried to schedule an appointment here thrice. The first time, they canceled due to staffing shortages. Understandable during covid.They canceled the second time for the same reason, but the woman who called was also quite rude to me on the phone.I thought Id give them another chance. I tried to schedule an appointment during their business hours on a Monday. I called several times and got no answer so I left a message that Id like to make an appt asap, please return my call.No return call was made.The following morning I received an email notification that I have a 3pm appt. Ive never heard of anyone scheduling an appointment without speaking to the patient. Naturally I need to rearrange meetings and such before I just skip out of work, so I called to explain. Again, no answer, left a message. A woman called back and literally yelled at me about how I keep canceling appointments and she DID call me yesterday (she did not, no missed calls or voice mails) on and on. Ive never spoken to a ruder woman in my life.I scheduled with a dentist 2 hours away and it will be worth the drive never to deal with this unprofessional sh1tshow again.

Be prepared to schedule multiple appointments and waste your time. I scheduled an appointment just to find out when I get there, they cant fit me in....it was just for a check up and cleaning. On top of that they stated they would have to set up an appointment for a check up, then a separate appointment for a cleaning. This happened to me the previous time when I started with them 2 years ago, but I was in pain and had to do what I had to do, which they just referred me to a specialist anyway. The same thing happen to my wife as she tried to start service at the same dentist because of convenience. Dont waste your time with this one, unsure how their rating is showing 4 stars.

I went in not knowing what to expect, I hadnt been to a dentist in many years. Everyone in the office from the front desk to the finance women was so nice and made me so glad about my decision to choose Aspen Dental as my new dentist!!😁😁😁

So, what I will see first and foremost is that ever person I’ve interacted with here has been incredibly friendly. However, I started my Invisalign treatment last November and it’s been a major headache throughout the entire process. 3-4 times I have called to confirm an appointment only to find that appointment has mysteriously disappeared on their calendar which results in my treatment times for Invisalign being extended weeks, but at this point it’s resulted in extending my treatment time months. For instance, I’ve been wearing the same set of retainers since the end of April, it’s now nearly august. I just received an email stating they needed to reschedule my appt for next week only to find that ONCE AGAIN, they didn’t even have me on their schedule at all. When I DO make it to my scheduled appointments, they tell me when scheduling it’s for one thing, then when I get there they do something else completely so I never actually know what exactly I’m coming in for which is a problem because I leave work for these appts and need to know how long I’m going to be out of the office for. The office staff is nice and the hygienists have all been great but the complete lack of professionalism and organization is extremely frustrating. I don’t usually write reviews, especially bad ones but I’m just so over it. Please please please get your staff/scheduling on the same page to limit future confusion and frustration.

Came here for my initial exam and was told my insurance was in network. Was given a treatment plan with estimated benefits. Scheduled my filling and made a pre payment as required towards it. Came in for my appt and was told my insurance is out of network and they are sorry they missed that. Obviously lack of training and expertise.

I started going to this dental office about a month ago because they squeezed me into their schedule!! No other dentist would help me through the tooth pain! It was an amazing experience!! And I would highly recommend them!! They are very professional and made the experience wonderful for me!!

Dr. Yaeger is the best dentist I’ve ever met with. He’s incredibly professional and also ruggedly handsome.

I dont like the dentist much at all. I walked in with much anticipation like I normally would. Well, to my surprise they were so warm and welcoming. I have extra bone in my mouth and on the roof of my mouth, its always so painful to get my X-Rays done. The lady held them and was so gentle. I didnt even have to ask. It was the first time ever that extra care has been taken. Then my exam was good as well. When I went back for my cavity fill and cleaning, they were amazing! I would highly recommend them. I am looking forward to my 4 month check up.

Would not recommend. Set up a appointment to fix my chipped front tooth they spent a hour talking about other stuff that needs to be done. Then sent me away and said they couldnt get to it today. Completely wasted my time.

I have not been to the dentist in years or 10 plus years and was very worried about how they were going to take care of me. But they were very polite and informed me what i had to do to get my smile back to the way it should be without having me feel like I have not taken care of my mouth very good. I would highly recommend them to anybody that does not have a dentist or has not been to the dentist in many years

Update 11/01/2020:Yesterday I received a bill in the mail from Aspen Dental for $89.55 for x-rays that were suppose to be free along with my exam. I have never seen Aspen Dental before, so I am a new patient and should have been eligible for this offer. When I had my appointment on 09/08/2020, the woman who spoke to me about payment options explained that it was their call center who screwed me up in their system, but the office WAS corrected that I was a new patient, and if this was fixed on their end I should not have been charged anything.I posted a complaint under Aspen Dentals contact us section of their website, but instead of being a complaint, it was a review. On top of that, when I checked to see if my review was posted under their customer review tab, it wasnt. Instead they had several 5-star reviews from various other sites like Google and Yelp that seemed cherry-picked for their image.I have filed a complaint with the BBB and was not surprised to see the amount of complaints filed against them that were about billing. My BBB complaint ID is: 14902837.The office came highly recommended, but the recommendation did not reflect my experience at all. I was recommended here by an orthodontist to have two fillings done before beginning other dental work. However, when I left, I not only didnt have the work done, but walked out of there with an even larger estimated bill after I was under the impression that the fillings would be half of the quoted amount. They boast pricing offers on their website but these dollar amounts do not seem to translate into their practice. They added on an additional filling that was not causing me issues and proceeded to demand half of the total cost up front even to put me on a list for scheduling. If you do not have dental insurance or good dental insurance I would not recommend this office, (even if you are willing to pay cash) I feel like I was financially taken advantage of for the sake of making a dollar.

I called everywhere in the city nobody had an opening, they got me in the next day, did x-rays & a exam, & 2 days later got my dental work done..They talked me through everything step by step..

Everyone one was so nice and professional. I felt like I was getting the best care. There was no pressure they just took very good care of me!

Im very happy with my experience at Aspen Dental. I was able to get an exam appointment set up online which was fast and easy. They were able to do the exam and get me in for an extraction the same day! Having teeth pulled is never something to look forward to but I had a positive experience and am grateful for a smooth process.

I was terrified of dentists. However, the whole office staff, hygienist, and doctor at Aspen Dental made me feel relaxed and comfortable. They went over my x-rays with me, answered all my questions, explained what needed to be done, the costs, and let me decide what I wanted to have done and when. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental, especially if you are afraid of going to the dentist like I was.

I am a person who has issues going to the dentist and they made me feel less terrible about the state of my teeth. They are compassionate and very helpful in trying to find you the cheapest but safest option. I didnt feel pressured into anything and actually told me its not as bad as you think. The staff are very gentle, whether its in the chair or filling out paperwork. The financial worker lady tried every Avenue she could to help me get a good deal when I didnt qualify for the credit stuff. Thank you so much

I was passing through Deluth when I experienced a dental emergency. Aspen Dental was very cooperative in arranging me to visit their office in a timely manner.Once there I was greeted with a very professional and personable front office person. Completing the necessary paperwork was simple and straight forward.The technical assistant, Brianna was very pleasant and professional and made great efforts to make me comfortable which as every one knows is difficult in times of emergency.Finally, Dr Tiffany was a consummate professional who did a complete analysis and suggested several options which in the end was a relief and worked perfectlyMy compliments to all and if I was a Deluth resident. I let my teeth go I hate hate the dentist. I had a abscess that went into my cheek. They were able to get me in to been seen when I walked in. They couldn’t pull the tooth that day but were able to get me on antibiotics they call an 1 later and were able to get me in that afternoon and pull the tooth. It was painless when they pulled it. I will be going back to get eveything fixed they didn’t make me feel Embarrassed. Dr. Jonasen was awesome

The denture experience has been very uneasy for me but the staff, Dr., and financing gal all were so helpful and it took a great deal of stress off of me during this process. Ive had a wisdom tooth extraction appointment rescheduled multiple times. Today was supposed to be the day, but they refuse to do it because of past medical history of drug addiction from when i was a teenager and Im in my 20s now and sober for 3+ years. They claim they wouldnt be comfortable with it (even though the old primary dentist here was willing to work with me and get this done but he moved). Now theyre trying to get me to spend WAY MORE money by going to a dental surgeon. I dont have insurance because it wont cover it here and i just cant do it. Preferred the other dentist way better.

I was very impressed with Aspen dental. I had a major toothache for a few days that would not go away. I decided to call aspens emergency line. The staff was very friendly and was able to get me to virtually see a dentist on my phone, who was able to prescribe me something for the pain and antibiotics to get me some relief until my appointment this Monday to get it taken care of. I felt like everyone I spoke with genuinely cared. Looking forward to getting this tooth taken care of on Monday!Thank you Aspen dental for helping me so quickly and getting me an appointment so soon!

Staff are friendly and accommodating. I had periodontal cleaning at this visit. The hygienist was kind and did a thorough cleaning. I took off a star because in checking the area for this type of cleaning (post-root planing/scaling cleaning/checkup), I believe Aspen is over-priced. If you want to pay the price, service is good.

Made an appointment was told to confirm 3 ways a email a text and a phone call they say they called me and they canceled my appointment on the day I was due to go because I didnt call them to confirm my appointment but told me they called me when they didnt phone records show they didnt called or even give me a number to call then women says he left a voice message which also is not on my phone

I am deadly afraid of the dentist and the Aspen staff were wonderful. They kept asking me If I was okay and needed anything. The staff were professional and polite from the beginning to the end of my visit. I will definitely reccomend Aspen Dental to all.

Poor service. Sign on the window said free first visit. They took x-rays but nobody even stuck their fingers in my mouth, no cleaning, no nothing. I was told to come back after they had hired a hygienist. I called them 3 months later, still no hygienist. Ant to top it off, I received a bill for $50 4 days after the first visit.

I would rate the place higher due to the staff being amazingly friendly and trying to help with my fear of the dentist. However, the scheduling lady had asked me if I was interested in knowing monthly payment amounts so that I knew if i could afford the work needed. She did NOT inform me that she was running a credit check to try to approve me for one the dental visa cards. I have NEVER been interested in a dental visa card and now I have a hard inquiry on my credit score. I am extremely disappointed that she would do that without my knowledge or consent. I consented to knowing a monthly payment, not for her to run a credit check.

I went into Aspen dental for an emergency visit bc of an abscess tooth. I was absolutely terrified bc I am 9 weeks pregnant. The dentist and the dental assistant were so kind and made me feel so comfortable. They gave me all the decisions I had and gave me their input on what was best for my baby. They did an extraction right away. I had a complete breakdown in the office ( which was completely embarrassing)bc I was so worried that this situation could harm my baby. The dental assistant completely made me feel I was her only patient and helped me calm down and told me that she was in school for her RN degree and it was always a possibility that the infection could affect the baby but the abscess was isolated to my one tooth and that is the best scenario and was very positive for the baby. She was correct I went in the next day for my first ultrasound and baby had a perfect strong heartbeat and is growing right on track. I can say that day was one of the most scariest days of my life and I was so appreciative of the staff on how they made me feel so important and helped me calm down!!

The ladies I had as well as the dentist we great to work with. We laughed and they explained everything out so I could make a decision on how to proceed. Made me feel at ease. I would recommend them. They were great.

I was very nervous to switch dentists after having been with them for 5+ years. But with my insurance switching I had to make the change and I am happy with the switch to Aspen Dental. Very friendly staff, they explain what theyre doing as they go. They give you mutiple options for your treatment plan and explain each one and their reasoning behind it. Work with you to set up a payment plan. So far very pleased with this facility and their staff.

These ladies took very good care of me!!! I got to try a new electrical tooth brush and they didn’t push any more care on me than I needed. Very thorough too!

Dr. Tiffany was so friendly and funny making me relaxed in an uptight and uncomfortable setting. Shes an absolute expert in tooth extraction and had me in and out of the chair in less than 30 minutes. Another great perk of this office is they have saturday hours once or twice a month. If you dont have insurance they are pretty affordable too and they will work with you.

The appointment was pleasant and the staff nice, but I was not told when scheduling my cleaning and check-up that aspen dental doesnt do cleanings at the first appointment. So mid-way through after the gums check I was told that they suggested I schedule a routine cleaning.. I was very confused.
