The first couple of times i went here they did really well. the past two times i have been here they have been horrible. my acrylics aren’t straight, they aren’t the shape or length i wanted. they are bumpy and have little bumps in them from stuff in the gel polish. the line design isn’t straight. he drilled under my nail and went under my real nail halfway down so it hurt a lot and he just kept pulling my hand hard every time i moved because it hurt so bad. the matte top coat doesn’t even go to the bottom of the regular polish. there’s paint on my hands and my hands now hurt alot. DO NOT GO HERE.

I would give this place 0 stars if possible...avoid this place like the plague! Ive been to several nail salons in the Dubuque area. This place was dirty and within two hours of getting a gel manicure, it chipped on two finger nails. My nails never chip and stay on several weeks without chipping. The manicure was done poorly and whats worse is Ive never experienced so much grinding on my natural nail beds and it hurt terribly...Ive gotten manicures and pedicures for over 5 years and this place is the worst in Dubuque. I am amazed they are still in business! I would strongly recrecommend American Nails or VIP nails over this place.

Jenny was very nice but I could tell she was rushing and didn’t file the acrylic down enough so it’s very thick and the length of the nails are not even to the other hand and didn’t paint the gel or acrylic down to the cuticle or sides of nails enough so I will be needing to get them filled again in a week.. very disappointed cause when I went the last time and got my nails done by the man there he did them perfectly so I assumed the other nail techs would be on par with the others work.

Do not go here!!! I went for a full set with an easy line design and they did a horrible job! The lady didn’t even file the sides of my nails after putting them on. I had acrylic on my the skin of my fingers and on top of my cuticles. To make matters worse, she rushed through my design making it look horrendous. When asked if I liked my nails, I said no to which the owner (who was doing my nails) replied “oh” and then proceeded to put a top coat on. Clearly she did not have time to be professional. If I could give 0 stars, I would.P.S. go to elite nails. I went there immediately after for a correction and they did AMAZING. Filed my nails beautifully and gave me EXACTLY the design I wanted.

Love Tips and toes! They do a great job and usually there isnt much wait time. The salon looks great after their remodel. Its a great place!

Unfortunately this was one of the worst manicures I have received. The gel polish didnt cover my whole nail, the polish was peeling on the sides two days after. RUSHED job, wouldnt recommend.

This place is great! Truc always does a great job and never hits your cuticle with the rotary. The place is clean, the people are super nice, professional and they do a fantastic job!Ive never been disappointed!

This is by far the worst place I’ve ever been to in my life. The lady was doing my feet and and was scraping my left foot and almost shaved my skin off to the bone. My foot did not stop bleeding for 2 days . If I cold give zero stars I would. Then to top it off she expected me to pay full price. Not even a sorry from her. Luckily I got a band aid !!!

It was my very first time going to this nail salon.. Went today with my friend to get my nails done and they were nice but they were very rough with me. He grabbed my hands and was twisting them. He cut me multiple times on both hands. This manicure was the worst I’ve gotten done ever and it was super painful I do not recommend going here if you want to get your nails done. 0/10

My sister and I went this past week, my sister got a mani pedi and it turned out great, I’m not sure who she had. I had Jenny, I got acrylics and when I got home I had to fix them to make them look worth the $50 I spent on them. My cuticles are all tore up, there was the dip gel all around my fingernails that I had to cut and file off. I personally wasn’t that impressed with my nails, having to fix them and all. She took a phone call in the middle of my nails which didn’t bug me but then she went over the same three nails two or three times. My nails just looked messy after they were done and it seemed like she was in a rush the whole time she was doing my nails. Maybe it was just an off day but I wasn’t that impressed with my mail, I was impressed with my sisters.

I usually go here and they usually do a good job! But today I went and got a pedicure and the lady didn’t scrub my feet and didn’t give me flip flops to walk out in so I ended up smudging one of my toe nails and had to go back and I live out of town. I am very disappointed in the girl who did my nails and I won’t be going back here or recommending this place to anyone.

I got some acrylics and they look okay for the most part, the nails were not the issue. Around my fingernail was all cut up from the nail tech. Most of the time it was because he pushed his nail into my skin trying to push skin down to file my nail, get nail polish off..etc. It was super unsanitary in my opinion to be cut by someone else’s nail...

DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET SKIN LICE !!!!I went in ont the 5/7/21 and got fill in and a pedicure and later had to go to the doctors for intense itching and I find out I have scabies (skin lice) and they refused to give a refund I spent over 200 dollars dont go here ever I have to not treat my whole family.

Nails are very eneven and bumpy. Acrylic was put on so thick. Very expensive for poor work. There are a lot of other options in town. I would choose somewhere else.

$48 to have my natural nails filed down too much and now are sensitive, got my skin filed down to almost bleeding, and dip put on too thick to where my nails hurt. Don’t want it fixed and will not be coming back

The lady, Vicky, I believe, that did my gel manicure was fabulous! I have arthritic hands and she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and she could do her job correctly.Thank you, your consideration and kindness was very much appreciated.

They are very clean and use liners for the stations and sterilized equipment. They did an awesome job on my cuticles and with scrubbing off dead skin. One of the best I have gotten in Iowa (I was spoiled when I lived in Philly)

Couldnt never get in

I went there after months of going to another place just to try it again and I was impressed. Awesome leg and foot massage. Very nice people who pay attention to what they are doing rather than talking amongst themselves. Definitely going back! I have heard it is under new management and if thats true I can tell the improvement.

I’m new to the Dubuque area and I’ve been going to the same nail tech for YEARS. So finding a new one here was a really tough choice. HOWEVER I made the right choice today. I had the pleasure of Steven doing my nails.he made me feel welcome and his overall work was amazing. He knock it out of the park. I will be returning.

Longest lasting shellac Ive had!

This place use to be my top place to get my nails done. They did fantastic on my nails for prom last year & just a casual nail day every three months or so (I always get long ish acrylics) but they always drill into my cuticles and sometimes my skin over. And it hurts in the burning way. Today I am currently bleeding on two fingers (got them re filled, original acrylic from elite nails) and some of the polish is still on the nail (I get regular not gel). but they’re always nice?

My sister and I had a great experience with our pedicures. The staff was friendly and the manager was outstanding! Clean facility!

I been to Tips and Toes few month ago. They did a good job. Came here with my little girl. She likes her pedicure with the kitty chair spa a lot. Ben did my shellac, it was last for 3 weeks. Recommend this place, will come back.

My daughter and I made an unplanned stop to get a pedicure for me and a manicure for her. She absolutely loved the manicure. My pedicure was one of the best Ive had. We will definitely go back.

Me & my mom went there to get our nails done and everything was going good so far until the lady that was doing my nails started to use the drill bit on my nails and as she was drilling she was also drilling my cuticles to the point where they were bleeding and she didn’t apologize OR even give me a band-aid so to sum it all up would I go back no absolutely not .

Horrible. Had my shellac for a week over acrylic and it’s chipping everywhere. Went in to get one fixed and it’s a bumpy mess. So hard trying to find a good nail place in Dubuque.

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS: I had a traumatic experience today. I had my nails done 11/11/2014 by Jessica at TIP TOE NAILS. Since then Ive had two nails chip. The first one chipped on 11/14 & she repaired it on 11/17 . The 2nd one chipped on 11/19 & she repaired it on 11/20 and wanted to charge me $5. I told her that I wasnt going to pay it because these nails are supposed to last a minimum of 3 weeks. She said anything over one week is $5 - u pay. I said I wouldnt pay it and she insisted that I will. She grabbed my Android Galaxy S5 phone (purchased 7/30/14) and wouldnt give it back. After I asked for it back repeatedly and said the phone has nothing to do w/the $5, she still wouldnt give it back. She threatened to call the police and I said Please do. Then she said You want your phone back, here it is and she slammed it on the floor as hard as she could and said Theres your phone. I picked it up and the screen was broke and it wouldnt work. I called the police from next door. They came and questioned me and a lady who was having a manicure there and Jessica. Apparently, she (Jessica) denied all because the police stated her story was different from mine. The other employee said she didnt see Jessica throw the phone.????? and the other customer said she heard the argument but didnt see her throw the phone either. The police accompanied me to US Cellular to get a replacement cost. I had to pay $660 plus tax=$701 for a new phone as it wasnt insured. The police said theyll turn all the evidence over to the County Atty and its up to him if he wants to charge her w/Criminal behavior. I cant believe that she might actually get away w/this. Whatever u do, my advise is: Dont go to TIPS & TOES nail salon. UNBELIEVABLE!

Best Shellac French Manicure Ive gotten!

The shellac is all over my fingers and when they massaged me it took about a minute total. Would not recommend.

Went here for my birthday and they rushed through everything and had to repaint my nails because of their mistakes!!! My nails were extremely short and not even!! Dont recommend this place

She cut off my cuticle, I was bleeding everywhere. I paid $60 for chrome nails and they didnt even paint the edges or do the very tips, I would not recommend.I tried to have the lady fix it before I left and she said no

This place is terrible. Ben cut 3 of my fingers, forgot to put on a top coat, and my nails are very poor quality. I would not reccomend this place to anyone.
