Really nice place to have nails done. CleanThey were able to take me in as walk-in with just a few minutes to wait. The lady who done my nails was very polite and careful. I had dip on natural nails

Relaxing and very well done. The gentleman took his time . I had gel polish removed but none applied. The price was perfect for the service.

This was my 1st experience at a nail salon and I enjoyed it. We were a party of 3 and all got mani/pedis. The place seemed clean and the employees were nice, although it would have been helpful if communication was better. All in all, I will return.

My husband and I just want find a place to get pedis and relax. The shop is nice but people in here are so rush and the tools are not clean.

The people were VERY nice! The kind lady that did my acrylics was very sweet, always asked a question twice before she followed through, and she knew straight what to do when i showed her a picture of what i liked!

First and last time coming here. was charged almost $40 to get my nails painted without a fill because i wasn’t a fan of my previous design. My sister got a new set and hers were not all the way back to the cuticle and still had quite a large amount of nail left untouched. Not even to mention the fact that my artist did not know what she was doing at all. Super rough. Do Not Recommend

It was my first time coming here and I did not regret coming here! My nails came out the way i wanted! I will be coming regularly!

They cut my finger so deep that it bled for like 10 minutes. They then just painted the shellac nail polish over a crusty mixture of blood and glue. The shellac is already starting to peel off 15 minutes after it was done because of this.

I went to this nail salon excited considering I havent had a manicure in a few years...well yes I was able to be helped right away but I felt I was just rushed through. The polish on my nails looked pretty..but it didnt cover my whole nail. My cuticles were popping out..honestly instead of my nails looking fresh and new..they looked about a week or longer old right after I got them done! I also noticed my nails were different sizes and one was slightly crooked. I spent almost $50 for frankly a horrible job...probably wont go back.AND the lady doing my nails was pretty rude...like really rude.P.S. My friend was with me and just got her nails refilled and painted..hers literally started chipping when we got in the car to leave the nail salon.***Two messed up nails/thumbs done by VIP NAILS down!!!!!!***

Service is rushed. I asked for my feet to be filed and she denied it. Dirty process and dirty tools. Overpriced low quality pedicure. Me and my mom are two customers that will never come back.

After 4 days of having my nails done, 4 out of 5 of my nails broke off!! I closed a window with my hand.. WITH MY HAND!! AND 2 OF MY NAILS BROKE OFF!! During the day, gradually, my nails kept coming off. This is ridiculous!! Then when I came in to get all of my nails repaired, the owner started to argue with me!! This place is unprofessional, poor workers and rude and absurd owner. I paid $60 for these nails and they broke offResponse to Owner:I came to your store! You was unprofessional when I brought this situation to you! You and your employees was ganging up on me and my friend! IM NEVER COMING TO YOUR STORE!! ALL THE PEOPLE WHO EVER CAME TO YOUR STORE ALWAYS SAY THAT THIS PLACE OVERCHARGE AND POOR QUAILTY!

I come pretty frequently and i could not be more happy. I love coming here everytime! They get your nails done fast and precise, and they will sit and chat with you. Its my favorite place and i recommend it to anyone who wants gorgeous nails at a decent price.

I will never use or recommend this salon. I went to get a mani pedi with gel on my own nails. Needless to say $100 later I was left with smudges, thick layers of polish and polish that didnt cover my whole nail. After 3 days I called and went back because nail started chipping. They then slopped on some more polish and said your nails are growing . The next day after getting that done the polish started lifting up in layers peeling off. Worst experience ever! Dont waste your money...

I got my nails done. Within the same day, one popped open because there were bubbles of nail polish. By the time they were off almost every nail was popped open. Not good.

I was a walk in for a pedicure, earlier this evening & I am very pleased. They were friendly, nice & professional. The store was clean & the interior was very pretty & relaxing. Now I need a nap! 😃

I will never use this salon again. Went in to get acrylic nails done and the quality was beyond horrific. The artist was fairly rough with the files, some of the nails were crooked, the glue and acrylic were all over my skin, the acrylic was way too thick, the nails were all a different length,, and the acrylic ended too far up my natural nail (the nails look like a if they have been on for awhile where my natural nail as grown a bit). I went in the next day to get them fixed and the gentleman who I talked to kept cutting me off and they wouldnt listen to what the problem was. Their solution was to file the sides and the front edge and to take a dremel like tool underneath my nails to get rid of the excess glue. The artist went to far and ripped the skin away from my natural nail underneath. I am highly disappointed with the quality of work done. Especially since I paid $55 for a job that looks like it was done with a home nail kit from walmart.

We were completely rushed through due to the arrival of a bridal party. Our pedicures look like a child painted them. And then we were charged $35 for the poor service. We will not return.

Ive been going to VIP nails since I was 14 (Im 24 now) and I have always left a very pleased customer! Tommy and Helen (the owners) are amazing people! Theyre very personable and kind. Every customer that walks in their doors is greeted immediately and almost always by their first name! All their employees are very friendly and do an awesome job! I highly recommend this shop to anyone that hasnt been here or is new to the area!

Worst nails I have ever gotten done, I have got my nails done many times but have never had an experience this bad. For starts the worker forgot about me as I was soaking my nails for over an hour. Next, I said that I die not want my nails any shorter then they were and I wanted a coffin shape, but instead of doing what I asked, he cut them all the way short And each nail is not even or cut to the same length . He then put only one layer of shellac on and I had a light color so it was very see through so I asked multiple times for him to put a second layer on and he ignored me the whole time, and the polish in general was very uneven and there is a string/hair or a mark in almost every single one of my nails. I do not recommend at all.

Terrible quality. I got my nails done here for a wedding and the paint chipped and the gel powder cracked in less than 24 hours and the customer service is terrible. Very rude and I do NOT recommend

A younger guy did my nails and he was very nice and did an amazing job! He made sure I was 100% satisfied with my nails. It was pricey though $53.50 for basic nails with a coffin shape.

Tommy did another fantastic job. The only salon I use.

My nails were to short and to think with acrylic and when I complained he informed me MY original nails were the problem (funny cause other places dont have a problem) then they never put top coat of and they basically called me a lair! Never again will I go to this place they were rude and expensive

I just moved to Dubuque and was a little hesitant to go get my nails done somewhere new...but I was desperate and had to take the plunge eventually. I went to VIP nails and Tommy did an absolutely amazing job on my dip. I had broken many of nails while moving and he blended the tips flawlessly with my natural nails. I will definitely be back!

Went and had a fill and color. Worst experience ever. No communication on how long, shape or anything. Had 2 nails botched and she did not want to redo. Polish on fingers and around nail not cleaned off. Went home next day polish started peeling off, went back to have fixed because they sent me an email to come back and when I did he said he could only put back on nail polish same color. I did not remember color, and what an ordeal. Got redone and had same problem. Not going back again. Hope they dont treat all customers like this.

Fairly quick service, I had a powder dip manicure. The lady was very very fast (probably not a good thing) which I didn’t mind as long as my nails were going to hold up and look good. Within a few hours I had a chipped nail and went back the next day to get it fixed. Within the next 2 days I had 5 more nails chipped and some in multiple places. Wouldn’t recommend for dips.

They were great!! Customer service was top notch!!! Feeling wonderful after coming here! Also the price was fair and reasonable! Overall really happy with this place

Very nice place come here with my girlfriend every time we are in town. Great people very nice.

Was there today around noon. The Owner was not around. The customer service was poor from the moment I walked in. The staff were moving slow and the guy doing my toes raised his voice with me because i didnt know the color # I picked. I would have walked out if I didnt need my toes and nails done.This shop needs a remodel also and a fresh, staff.

Got my nails done Tuesday March 17th and by the 23rd most of my left hand was lifted and ruined. Not happy or worth what I paid

Quick in n out visit 4 nail fix!

Called and made an appointment at 230, that’s when the guy said they had wide open.. 🤔 Got there at 2:25pm about 4 minutes later someone actually acknowledged us for the first time. We waited for about 5 more minutes then got put back in the Pedi chairs. No water just sat there for ANOTHER 30 minutes. As they were continuing to take walk in clients instead of saying no I have appointments here!!! The place was dirty too! 😷We ended up walking out and going to #1 Nails, they got us right in as they stated on the phone and did a great job!!!Clearly poor customer service skills goes to VIP Nails. Don’t even waste your time with them. 🙄

We called ahead 30 min and got in right away when we arrived. We had a baby with us and they helped with him as well. They had a friendly staff great pedicure.

Did poor job on manicure. Got polish around the skin and only took 20 minutes to do three people. Very rude and would not recommend.

Peggy, I was there yesterday! This is the first time after several years of occasional stopping in for a pedicure, I was truly disappointed. Not a good experience with a new person, after shower this morning tips of polish was off, and lots of sharp point need filed?

Came with a picture of what a wanted and got a completely different turn out. And spent $50 on nails that i am very disappointed in.

Asked for two sets of gel, got two sets of acrylics and it came to a total of $101. Nail polish and gel is all over the cuticle, also didn’t trim the cuticles.

Such a relaxing experience, staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied, definitely a clean, welcoming place I highly recommend!

No doubt this is one of the best nail salons here in Dubuque.. Clean and cozy and very detailed. Love my French manicure!!

Vipnails is a great place to get nails and toes done, customer services was great full and they did a great job on my manicure gel and pedicure.

At first I really liked it here. Yes, friendly staff and quick service. Then during a toenail clipping my toe was bleeding very badly, cut on both sides. This was after I told them I did not want my toe nails clipped. It hurt very bad. I went to the podiatrist and he said they should not be making people bleed due to the huge chance of infection. I did not go back for a few weeks. Then I decided to give it another chance and this time I just wanted to have my gel polish removed and shaping. They put the foils on and left me to sit for an hour without ever coming back to me. Instead they waited on two large parties getting manis and pedis. They even sat right next to me and didnt even acknowledge that I was still sitting there with the foils on. I took the foils off myself and scraped the paint off and walked out. No one even bothered to stop me or ask me what was wrong ... at all. I will not go back. Now my finger nails are dried out and splitting, very damaged. Ill be doing my own nails.

Was very quick which could be a plus but not in my case. Got a pedicure with my friend. Didnt get the skin scraped off of my feet which I thought he was just going to do something else first. Not the case. He didnt do it at all and let me tell you it needed it.Got my toes painted, he didnt paint my whole nails. Literally spots on my big toes not painted. He didnt cut my nails or file them either. Also didnt push the cuticles back. I wanted so badly to say something but I was with a friend and didnt want to cause anything. Paid $26 for something I could have done at home in 5 mins. As well... not thrilled.

Just left there and this is by far the worse gel manicure ever..2 fingers are bleeding and they gelled over the blood...they tried super gluing the cuts and noe its brown and dirty looking.Half if the nails are not even painted completely. ..waste of money and time...would recommend staying away from this place.

No waiting and I can see why :( a pedicure done in 20 minutes? No wonder why I have cuts on my toes and theres more dry, peeling skin on my feet than I had before I came in. Very disappointed. When will these be more about foot care than just polish??

This place is crap i would not recommend this to anyone, they say a manicure is consider cutting your cuticles and lotion lol nothing else, also the lady Debbie gets frustrated when you tell her to clean up her work, they did a gel for me and something didnt look right she act like she didnt want to fix it, still came out disappointed, never again, to the next customer please dont be a customer

Very Expensive

I had a mani- pedi at this salon. Though it is nice that they are fast, the techs did a very poor job. Within two days the nails were chipping. I also feel as though they were quite bothered with their customers. I will not return
